Thank you for your endless work in the weeks, days and hours leading up to our wedding in sourcing, creating and bringing it all together the day of.

Thank you for your calm and support when the weather started turning and for giving us the most incredibly beautiful ceremony, even though it was not our Plan A location.
Thank you for giving me the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen and for turning our white sailcloth tent into THE MOST GORGEOUS Parisian Garden. I rarely am at a lost for words and my mouth literally fell to the floor as I walked in our tent.
Thank you for reassuring me for three years while planning this wedding through two postponements that everything was going to be amazingly beautiful and that I had no need to worry. You were right. It was better than anything I could have ever hoped or dreamed for, it was simply perfect.

From beginning to end Sue and Lisa were incredible to work with. They listened and were able to take key ideas we loved and turn it into a beautiful ceremony and reception. They were able to work with last minute changes with location due to flooding in the meadow and an arbor we didn't have photos of until the week before the wedding.
We look back and the pictures are gorgeous and unique. Truly it felt like a fantasy day come true. Thank you. -

I’m convinced there is not a florist in the world more talented than Sue of Fresh Designs. Sue is the most spectacular artist, and she elevated our wedding into something magical, creating the most breathtaking floral display I have ever seen in my life. From our first meeting with Sue, she enthusiastically took our vision and built it into something beyond our wildest dreams. She built a floral arch that made my heart stop. Three (!!!) hanging installations over the dance floor, the head table, and a guest table. An entire champagne wall that acted as the seating chart for guests. 7 months on from our wedding, and our friends and family still specifically talk about the magical floral design Sue created. You will not find a more talented team anywhere. -

My husband and I were absolutely blown away by Sue’s beautiful and creative mind! Every time I think back to our wedding day, I am in complete awe at Sue and her team’s breathtaking floral creations! When I first met Sue, I could feel her positive and creative energy immediately. I am a visual person so I began showing her pictures that captured our vision. She understood completely and took our vision to the next level by creating floral arrangements and installations that I could have never imagined. I trusted Sue, her team, and the vision she had. As we walked into each room throughout the venue, we were speechless. Fresh Designs Florist completely captured and created our image of a Tuscan countryside. Her attention to detail was impeccable – from my bouquet to the beautifully crafted arches at the ceremony to the unbelievable hanging and floor floral installations to the enchanting and magnificent centerpieces! WOW! I actually started crying (happy tears of course) once they revealed the Grand Ballroom to my husband and I because Sue and her team went completely above and beyond. They brought our vision to life and exceeded all of our expectations! I was absolutely speechless. Our guests were also completely in awe at the creations Sue and her team put together. Oh and not to mention, they had two other weddings that same day! Sue is such a joy to work with because she is professional, fun, spunky, creative, and incredibly talented! We are beyond grateful for Sue and her amazing team! We cannot thank them enough for putting our vision into reality and creating the wedding of our dreams. Floral Perfection
The team at Fresh Designs Florist is understanding. They are very committed in their work and it clearly shows in photos. Sue and her team were the florists for our wedding- October 2018. The whole process was exciting and a wonderful experience! They walked us through a detailed proposal. Including pictures of the flowers and all the details. We got married at Hotel Du Pont in Wilmington. The look my husband and I were going for was tradition but tying in modern elements. Hotel Du Pont has an old elegance feel to it. Fresh Designs Florist kept the same feeling by creating beautiful floral greenery arrangements. Walking into the ballroom for the first time was breathtaking. Everything we asked for, they did... but better! And not to mention my bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets were stunning! My jaw dropped when I saw them the day of the wedding. They are the dream team because they are perfectionists at their work. A big thank you to you all!

They took the inspiration and ideas I showed them at our initial meeting and completely ran with them executing every detail to perfection. The whole team was wonderful to work with -- they were professional, encouraging, fun, and as you can see from the attached photos, they are incredibly talented. They walk you through every detail and send you a proposal to see your color palette and ideas come to life. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, they were flexible when we had to increase the number of centerpieces we ordered because of an increase in our guest count and when we decided to change our design for our head table. I can't imagine trusting anyone else to design our flowers and decor for us --- I highly recommend anyone in the Philadelphia area seeking a florist hire Fresh Designs for their big day.

Jenn Sent on 01/04/2014I met Sue from Fresh Designs Florist at an open house at my venue. She was so friendly right off the bat and had some examples of her work there to view. She also works with our caterer a lot, so I felt like they would know each other's styles well. When I met with Sue, I had no idea what a flower budget would be. I was definitely budget conscious and didn't have any specific ideas for types of flowers, but did want to use a color theme for the fall. She came up with a proposal, which when speaking with others, was a great deal for what she offered. When we discussed the centerpieces, to really stay in budget, she offered these awesome table lanterns I could rent from her for a very reasonable price, which added warmth to the room and kept us in budget. Our flowers arrived on the big day and they were beautiful! They went so well with the bridesmaids dresses and complimented my flowers perfectly. My only "criticism" would be that Sue is sometimes difficult to reach via email and sometimes a week would go by waiting for a response. That being said, she's great to work with, definitely kept me within budget, and had some gorgeous yet simple creations for my wedding day. Would definitely use her and her group again! -
Kim Sent on 07/22/2018Working with Fresh Design Florist was so easy. During the consultation I felt like they knew exactly what I wanted before I was done explaining. They pulled up pictures and gave me ideas that fit so well with my overall design theme. On the day of my flowers turned better then I could image. I received many compliments on my bouquet and all the arrangements were beautiful. The designs were not standard wedding flowers which I loved. I would recommend Fresh Design to anyone looking for a florist for their wedding.

Sarah Sent on 10/21/2015We happened to find Fresh Designs via Yelp and their website was full of beautiful imagery, I was sure there was no way we would be able to afford them. Their shop is not an actual store, it is a space on the side of a house, and the space is so beautiful inside, I loved it. Our consultation went so perfect, all our ideas she loved and shared her vision for our ideas. We knew right away we loved them and wanted them to be our florist. She even quickly mocked up her idea for our centerpieces which only sealed the deal for us. The day of the wedding everything was stunning, the garland on our gazebo, the runners on the cocktail tables, all the centerpieces, my bouquet were simply perfect! I do however have a few negatives that actually made me quite sad. First, I know they are quite busy all the time with photo shoots and weddings, but the response time with emails was quite slow. Secondly, the day of the wedding came and the representative they had setting our flowers up wasn't the best. My husband was at the venue playing golf before the wedding and when he stopped in with his normal clothes on and chatted her up about how beautiful it all looked, she proceeded to tell him "yeah but it's a pain in the ass". She obviously had no idea he was the groom. Furthermore, she never made anyone at our venue aware of where the Grooms/Groomsmen boutonnieres were along with the mother's/grandmothers corsages. When my groom asked where they were no one from the venue knew and no one found them until AFTER the ceremony. And lastly, I had inquired a few weeks before the wedding about them being able to decorate our cake with some fresh flowers, they agreed they could, but their representative DID NOT decorate it. We had a plain white buttercream cake sitting there. Overall, the work they did was beautiful and they came in under our budget. We loved what they did, but their representative the day fell quite short. -

Colleen Sent on 04/12/2018Our first meeting with Sue was fantastic. She took the time to go over everything we were looking for in our wedding flowers, including design, colors, and budget. However, there were some issues I experienced with this company. Lisa was our primary contact and, overall, her response time with emails was a little slow; it often took several business days to receive a response. Less than a month from our wedding, Lisa sent a final invoice, and the price had increased by about $300. When I questioned her about it, she said that Sue had mistakenly left off pricing for my bridesmaids' bouquets. When I informed her that the final price now exceeded the budget we had set initially, Sue said she would not exceed my budget, but we still ended up having to pay more than what we were quoted. When I voiced my displeasure at their oversight, Lisa seemed to have an attitude and told me that I was getting a deal, not having to pay the full price for my bridesmaids' bouquets. That was quite insulting. I am not a person who tries to get something for free, and to insinuate such, was disrespectful. My father had graciously offered to cover the cost of our wedding flowers and he had already mailed the check; he ended up having to send a second check to cover the additional cost. They do not accept credit cards either, which is quite unusual and inconvenient in this day and age. As a professional business in operation for many years, I expected better customer service. The focal point flowers at our wedding (2 chandeliers and deck stairs) turned out beautifully, although most of the tea lights hung from the chandelier over the dance floor were out by the start of our reception. The bouquets were beautiful, don't get me wrong, but they honestly looked nothing like the inspiration pictures I had shared with Sue. There was much less greenery than I had asked for. Overall, this company creates beautiful arrangements, but they need to improve the quality of their customer service.
