Lyn and his staff were one of our favorite vendors that we hired for our wedding. Lyn was communicative, personable, and you can tell that he and his staff treat each of their clients like family. There was a small miscommunication with my bridal portrait bouquet (it was still absolutely beautiful), and Lyn was on it! He guaranteed that everything would be perfect and aligned with our vision for our wedding day, and of course, he delivered. I’m a perfectionist and detail oriented person, and Lyn put me to shame. He brought our vision to life and made it even better than I imagined. Every bouquet and floating candle was perfectly placed, and it was just perfect. We can’t thank Lyn and his team enough!

the best pick for all your floral needs
I had a challenging time choosing a florist because I have never been a huge fan of flowers, but somehow Fresh Affairs allowed me to create my own vision - and it was BEAUTIFUL. We decided to keep it neutral, mainly greenery and some white and light pink flowers. Not only did Fresh Affairs make the bouquets, they also made beautiful arrangements for my late father and my husband's late mother. In addition, they supplied a beautiful arch, decorated with greenery for our ceremony. I ended the night IN LOVE with flowers!! I loved my bouquet so much that I found a place to preserve it so I can display it forever. Fresh Affairs, thank you so much!

Fresh Affairs did a FANTASTIC job with the florals at my wedding in July! We initially booked Fresh Affairs for our October 2020 wedding. We had to delay our wedding due to COVID-19 and Stacey made the change of date incredibly easy and stress-free. Lyn was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish! Going into my first meeting with Lyn, I had no idea what I wanted in terms of flowers for my wedding. However, Lyn really helped me figure out my vision and brought it to life so beautifully! We were blown away by every floral piece that Fresh Affairs created – bridesmaids’ bouquets, posies, bridal bouquet, boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces, and altar arrangements. We got so many compliments from guests about our florals. We were particularly impressed with the altar arrangements. They were STUNNING! Also, Lyn has so much experience in the wedding industry and had some great suggestions regarding non-floral décor for our wedding. We are so thankful for his expertise! Lyn Graves is a true artist in every sense of the word. We initially booked with Fresh Affairs for our wedding scheduled for May 2020. Due to Covid19 our wedding had to be postponed to May 2021. Lyn helped make the change of date very easy & less stressful. He is incredibly knowledgable, creative, motivated and was very excited to help our fairy tale wedding vision come to life. He not only created beautiful masterpieces with the florals, he also was very helpful in picking out linens and place settings for the head table and guest tables. Every floral piece he put together - bouquets, boutonnieres, alter set up, head table, cake flowers, centerpieces, floral pieces for our seating chart and chandeliers - was a work of art! We and our guests were in awe of the beauty, elegance, and romance he created. Everyone is still raving about it! We are forever grateful to Lyn for his hard work and dedication to making our fairy tale wedding dreams come true!

Lyn Graves saved me and my vision. When I reached out to his company I was down on hope for what I wanted and my price range. He responded promptly and talked me thru my vision, providing pictures and sketches tomake sure I knew what I was getting. I thought with his company in Raliegh, NC that he would either not travel or the fee would be so high that I wouldnt be able to work with him. Fortunately for me, neither was the case. I am not at all a flower kind of girl. But I will say that meeting with the amazing duo Lyn and Stacey from fresh affairs has put me in the spirit of all things amazingly floral. They are very professional and will guarantee that the execution of their vision exceeds beyond what you have already imagined. Thus far, I have only seen their work at my venue for other events hosted by the venue. I am excited to see the final look for everything that we have customized for our special day. We love candles and have emphasized the incorporation of luminous votives along with beautiful “fresh” florals to be incorporated in our final design. Working with Lyn and the Fresh Affairs team was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning! Lyn is so knowledgable and knew exactly which blooms would be in season and fit my vision. On our wedding day I walked into our ceremony space and was blown away! Our altar arrangements and bouquets were more than I ever could have imagined. Our wedding was gorgeous thanks to the amazing centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, and crystals. You could hear our guest gasp as they entered the Wakefield barn and saw these amazing floral arraignments. Lyn certainly makes flowers into his work of art.

Words cannot describe how happy we were with the beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets. The oohs and aahs over the flowers started with the bridesmaids when the bouquets arrived at the venue and did not stop all night as guests made a point of commenting on the perfect romantic flower arrangements and candles on the tables. I noticed that I didn't have my mother's angel pin (my something borrowed) and Lyn drove it all the way to the venue on the Saturday afternoon at my wedding! This shows how compassionate Lyn is about making sure everything was in place and perfect! Lyn, thank you so much for bringing in my mother’s angel pin (my something borrowed), that really meant a lot to me. When we did our room reveal we were at awe. The room looked like it should be part of a bridal magazine. Thank you again for making our wedding look so magical!

Fresh Affairs was the only florist I considered booking with. The team did my sister's wedding 5 years ago and my sister-in-law's wedding 6 years ago. They are the best of the best and provide nothing less than perfect.
My wedding flowers were incredible, the venue smelled like a garden, and the bouquets were immaculate. Lyn, Stacey, & the team make sure that you are in budget but still have everything that you need. The customer service, knowledge, and passion for flowers makes them the so easy to work with.

I have worked with Fresh Affairs on several events in the past. When it came time for me to chose a florist for my wedding I knew who to ask, and of course...they did not disappoint!! Lynn is the best in the business, he has been doing this a very long time, and it really shows in his work. The colors in each flower, each centerpiece exactly what he explained, the attention to all the details... everything I asked for was never over looked and was perfect. Wow. Lynn and his team took all of my ideas and truly put it into reality. After changing my mind a couple times and adding small details like lockets etc into the mix, Lynn never once said no or that was not possible instead encouraged the ideas to make our flowers and centerpieces unique for our big day. The proposal breakdown to execution had me feel comfortable and understanding every detail coming my way. We did out centerpieces for reception, mother of bride flowers, grandmother of bride flowers, bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, and men's boutonnieres and wonderful wild flowers and shepherds hooks for the ceremony. The price Lynn gave us was incredible and way lover than other competitors and the quality was better than we could have imagined. The fall colors truly made our wedding a fairytale and we would recommend this team to any bride looking for the perfect "big" day.

We had met with Lyn and completely trusted him to provide us with what we envisioned we told him we wanted elegant and that's exactly what we got from the corsage and boutonnières to the simple flowers down the aisle to the gorgeous centerpieces and a beautiful memorial candle centerpiece. Lyn and the Fresh Affairs team are amazing!! Having very specific ideas about the flower design, I was nervous when I started looking for a florist as I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to find someone who would be able to work with my budget and deliver my vision. I found that with Fresh Affairs. During my first consultation, Lyn understood exactly what I was envisioning, gave me great ideas on how to work within my budget and on things I was waffling about. Having been around the area for such a long time, he has worked with just about every venue including both my ceremony and reception sites which was a major plus for me. Throughout the planning process, he was great at getting back to me and answering all my questions and even scheduling last minute meetings. And as for the actual flowers on the day of, just absolute perfection!! I would have never been able to get the look I wanted with my budget if I had gone elsewhere. Lyn is the flower whisperer, and I would totally recommend him!!

If Fresh Affairs could be rated better than perfect I would give it that! Lynn was amazing and basically brought my dream to life. I wanted a no flower zone but full of candles and branches for my October wedding and when I walked into my wedding venue I could just cry it was so beautiful. The Fresh Affairs staff worked so fast and flipped the room from wedding mode to reception. Lynn worked with my budget and provided all the decor for me wedding.

I was absolutely speechless when I saw our floral arrangements for my wedding. I came in only knowing the color and shapes I wanted and Lyn Graves pretty much read my mind. The bouquets were beautiful and the tables were perfect. Everyone had such wonderful things to say about all the arrangements. Working with Fresh Affairs was probably the easiest part of planning our wedding. The communication was amazing and all of my expectations were exceeded! Fresh Affairs provided the flowers as well as candles and table decor for our October wedding in downtown Raleigh. Every aspect of the services they provided was stunning and spectacular. Even though we had a smaller budget, they made our wedding look like something out of a magazine!
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lyn and his team. The arbor they provided for where we stood at during the ceremony took my breath away when I saw it. Every detail looked immaculate from the bouquets to the head table. Lyn truly listens to what you want and turns into something magical :)

We worked with Lyn and his team for our wedding on October 10, 2015. Lyn was amazing! His team (specifically Jane) was responsive, professional, and incredibly easy to deal with. Working with Lyn provided us with so much peace of mind going into our wedding. We knew the first time we met with him that we were in good hands. He invited us to special events so we could really get a feel for how our day would look based on our wants. He worked within our budget and provided numerous options to enhance our day to meet our vision. Lyn always seemed to remember every detail discussed each time we talked to him which blew our minds because he and his team do A LOT of events. He gave us great suggestions on linens, table settings, and chairs that we ended up renting through him and we were not disappointed. So many people raved about the decor and how beautiful everything looked. It honestly was breathtaking walking into our venue on our wedding day. We have zero complaints and can't say enough positive things about Fresh Affairs.

Lyn went above and beyond what we ever could have imagined for floral and even reception details like the linens. We were so overwhelmed by flowers and colors after meeting with a few other florists, but when we met Lyn we knew we wanted to book him! He helped us so much with all of the floral decisions and the resulting bouquets, boutonnieres and center pieces were absolutely perfect!

There are no words to describe how beautiful Fresh Affairs helped make our wedding turn out to be. Lyn is awesome to work with - when I met him for the first time, I wanted so badly to be his friend - he's just that wonderful :P. Lyn and Michael are not only amazing people but amazing artists. They took my vision and ran with it. Trust them!! They were both so patient with me and gave me guidance on all aspects of the wedding not just flowers. Lyn Graves and his team at Fresh Affairs went above and beyond anything I've ever seen for a wedding reception. My husband and I used Fresh Affairs for our 9/12/15 wedding at Prestonwood Country Club, and when I walked into the ballroom for the first time, I burst into tears. It was stunning.
We used Fresh Affairs for our flowers, as well as our rentals (linens, chairs, napkins, and chargers), and I can honestly say that going with one vendor for everything was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process. It ensured we had a cohesive look for our reception, and I had complete confidence and trust in Lyn and his team to deliver something beautiful.
From our first meeting with Lyn, he got my "vision" for the entire day, and was always professional, responsive, and one of the most organized people I've ever met. When we needed to make some changes, he was flexible and worked with us, and if I could only pick one vendor to work with again, it would be Fresh Affairs. I'm recommending them to anyone and everyone I know getting married in the Triangle area, and I can assure you, they will go above and beyond to make your wedding more beautiful than you could imagine.

I used Fresh Affairs as my florist for my wedding on 9/12/15. I had met with several florists prior to meeting Lyn from Fresh Affairs. The second I walked out of my meeting with Lyn, I knew that was the one I wanted. He was confident, had very creative visions, and was extremely organized. I knew I could give Lyn a very general description of what I wanted, and he would do exactly what I asked, and make it come together in ways I couldn't imagine. He did not disappoint. The tables were minimal so he could stay within my budget, but he went a long way with just a few flowers. He used a lot of candles, and incorporated the perfect amount of color to not be overbearing. The tables looked beautiful, and the bouquets were stunning. They were very prompt in getting all the flowers to the church on time, and they had them very accurately and professionally labeled for whoever the flowers were for. They also were more affordable than several other vendors who I'd met with. Lyn really worked with me to stay in my budget. Definitely would recommend Fresh Affairs to friends in the future.

The flowers were stunning and were talked about all evening. So many guest said that they just "couldn't get over the flowers!" Lyn provided such great guidance throughout the process. Tabletop is also so wonderful, giving lots of ideas. All of our venders came from Tabletop and they were all first class!

Lyn Graves’ artistic vision and the implementation of that vision is unsurpassed and I would enthusiastically and unconditionally recommend him to any bride or mother of the bride. Before our initial consultation, my daughter and I had visited other florists that we liked well enough; however, upon meeting Lyn, we instantly knew he was the perfect match to create the image we had for her wedding. He just “got it” and on wedding day, the scene he created at the church, in the bouquets, and most particularly, at the reception venue was beyond our imagination. Our theme was “adventure” and Lyn successfully and beautifully brought the “outside in” with 14 foot lighted trees, meadow-like white daisies with evergreen accents, and lush green and white gardens. The scene was simple, elegant, and most importantly a perfect reflection of the bride and groom. On wedding day, the reception venue had to be flipped from a large business seminar to a grand wedding ballroom in less than two hours and I know Lyn and his team were instrumental in the conversion that was flawless and seamless from my point of view. I considered the florist one of my most critical vendors and Lyn and his staff were always professional, responsive, confidently reassuring, and patient with this first time mother of the bride. I am so grateful to Lyn Graves and again, would most highly recommend him and his team at Fresh Affairs without reservation.

Lyn is the best florist in town. He is talented and has an eye for design. I would consider myself to be a tomboy at heart with no design sense whatsoever and Lyn was nice enough to meet with me on several different occasions, more than he probably should have, to go over my "vision" for the venue space. I went for a very clean, elegant look, with various white flowers and grey linens, which he executed with perfection.
On my wedding day I noticed a huge beautiful arrangement in the middle of the room where the cocktail hour was being held which I knew I had never ordered. It was such a wonderful surprise, not sure if it was an oversight, but nonetheless I am very grateful!
Fresh Affairs was much cheaper than I expected and I have nothing negative to say, our wedding day was PERFECT!

If I had all day I could not write enough good things about this vendor. I'd like to start off by complimenting Lyn Graves for being the best of the best in his industry. I spent quite a bit of time researching florals for my wedding. I met with several experienced floral designers, but there is something to be said for someone who immediately gets you and your vision. From the beginning I heard nothing but great things about Fresh Affairs, and they lived up to every word of it. Not only were we blown away by the results, but we've received numerous compliments on how beautiful the decor was, several notating that the arrangements were the most beautiful they've seen at a wedding.... Fresh Affairs was fantastic! They worked with us to fit our budget, while still getting simply breath-taking floral arrangements. My sister, who regularly does event planning for her Commercial Real Estate company, uses this company frequently and recommended them to me whole-heartedly. The pre-wedding process was really smooth, and very professional. Any concerns we had were listened to, and promptly addressed and/or rectified.
Then came the wedding day. I was really blown away with how beautiful my bridal bouquet was,.. from the inclusion of my favorite flowers all the way down to the incredible wrapping of the stems. Just amazing. The bridesmaid bouquets and groomsmen boutonnieres were simply beautiful, the altar flowers were wonderful, and all of the centerpieces for the reception were GORGEOUS. I can't tell you how many people approached me at our reception to ask about the flowers and comment on how wonderful they were.
I would absolutely recommend Fresh Affairs to any Raleigh bride - you won't regret it. :)

Lyn and his staff are amazing! Lyn has an exquisite eye and taste for floral aesthetics and artistic creativity that combines into creating beautiful masterpieces for floral decor for weddings. I planned my wedding from long distance and only had limited time to visit with all vendors and Lyn was more than accommodating to make the appointment happen during that time frame. I came with ideas of what I wanted and he automatically knew which direction I wanted to go for the overall theme and presentation of my wedding ceremony and reception. He was super responsive and easy to work with via long distance correspondence. And when told my budget he was able to get everything I wanted for under the budget as well as added a last minute item to the list. The result was breathtaking flowers and the color combinations I picked out were portrayed beautifully. Everything was perfect. The flowers and the decor provided by Fresh Affairs was on point to my inspiration board of ideas and made my day seem like a fairytale wedding. Everything was breathtaking. Fresh Affairs, what an excellent job you did for our wedding! It was PERFECT. We were more than impressed with the very first arrangement in our cocktail space, all the small little flowers placed on the cocktail tables, the larger and smaller arrangements in our reception space and we were blown away with our cake!
I had high expectations for Fresh Affairs because of the work I had seen them do in the past and images posted on social media, but they surpassed whatever image I had had in my head and the entire room was just perfect! There were more than impressive arrangements on every table that the guests loved and kept saying they had never seen flowers so beautiful before, the jewels hanging from the arrangements just sparkled with the uplighting, but the most important thing to me was the cake because I had designed it with the bakery and Fresh Affairs myself. People are still talking about how elegant the flowers made our cake and the candles really made it so romantic and soft.
Our bridal bouquets, mother's bouquets, flower girl's roses and the groomsmen's and grandfather's boutineers were exceptional! They took the pink color I requested and incorporated it into my bouquet and took the ivory and cream colors I wanted and put that into all of the other flowers! It was absolutely gorgeous!
We had met with Lyn Grave's 14 months before our actual wedding so we had lots of time to plan the most perfect day, but even up o the last few weeks we had some small changes we wanted to add and they were more than happy to make these arrangements! Lyn is an awesome person to work with and having been in the business for so many years, he really knows what is the most modern design, what looks the best and gave us so much great advice along the way for our perfect day! My family and I thank him for the amazing job he did for us and we highly recommend his business for anyone!

When we first saw the work of Fresh Affairs at the Carolina Inn Bridal Showcase, we knew immediately that we had found the best of the best. They were able to take a few votive candles, glass vases, water, and hydrangeas and make the simple table look like one from a fairy tale wedding!
Let me start by saying, I know very little about floral design. During my initial consultation, my description of what I envisioned was this: classic, timeless, and hydrangeas. As we discussed my expectations, I could really tell that he understood my vision PERFECTLY, even better than I understood it! He helped me to come up with a creative way to honor those who were not able to be present without feeling melancholy, and showcase our chosen theme. When he sent over his description and "inspiration photos", he did exactly what every "Pinterest bride" dreams of: he had the exact photos that I pinned earlier that day, without even knowing it!
The day of the wedding, I was taken through the reception space prior to walking down the aisle and I was floored: everything was even more beautiful than I could have imagined! I'm so glad that Fresh Affairs was part of my "Dream Team!"

Lyn was great! We told him what colors and style we wanted, without too many specifics. He gave us a list of what he thought was appropriate for our style and for our venue, and we negotiated from there. Everything looked amazing and we see why Lyn and his team comes so highly recommended! We did check with a couple other florists. Their prices were similar, but we just felt more comfortable with Fresh Affairs.

Fresh Affairs did an amazing job for my wedding! Lyn totally understood my vision and was able to guide my coordinating linen choices and connect me with invitation, party rentals, and lighting/draping vendors.
The flowers looked beautiful on the day and when I asked for one adjustment to a bouquet, they quickly fixed it and then some. The ceremony 'altar', reception centerpieces, and draping/lighting everywhere looked phenomenal and I didn't have to get involved with setup at all - they're just good.
This is the vendor that made me feel the most confident in from the very beginning and they delivered!

I was so shocked when I saw how beautiful everything was! I got married at the Pavilions at the Angus Barn. I live in Chicago and had to do all planning by phone and email so I was kind of nervous of how things would turn out. Lyn and his staff did such a perfect job and I could not have pictured the flowers any better. He did exactly what I was looking for and stayed within my budget. I had gone through a couple of other florists before finding him and none of them compared! I highly recommend using Fresh Affairs for a wedding or any event!

A simple thank you just doesn't seem adequate. From the first time I spoke with Lyn Graves I knew there was something very special about Fresh Affairs. His professionalism and knowledge during our consultation won me over and I knew I wanted Fresh Affairs for our daughter's wedding.
Jones Chapel at Meredith College was breathtaking on September 13, 2014. The delicate balance of greenery and floral arrangements were simply stunning, just perfect!!!! Brianna and Chris (Bride and Groom), were overwhelmed by the beauty of the chapel.
Lyn Graves, Michael Whaley and the entire team at Fresh Affairs created a spectacular collection of pieces that transformed the NC State University Club ballroom into the most beautiful and elegant reception I have ever seen!!!! Fresh Affairs is not your run of the mill florist. They are FLORAL DESIGNERS.! Not only were each of the table settings unique, they were works of art!!! All of the guests were amazed. Matter of fact, I am still receiving compliments on all the arrangements.
Fresh Affairs provided the WOW factor we were looking for that left us speechless. They are truly Raleigh's Finest. Thanks again for your talent and artistic vision, making Brianna and Chris's wedding a fairytale dream come true.

Lyn and his team are absolutely wonderful! They have great style on their own but what I felt like really set them apart is that they LISTENED! I had what I thought was a little bit of a different style and was incorporating hundreds of huge Mexican style crepe paper flowers in with the real flowers and succulents. I sat with Lyn and explained my vision and it was like he was in my head... every single arrangement was beyond perfect! They made every centerpiece, corsage, bouquet just perfectly! A thousand times YES! Fresh Affairs is wonderful!!

I was SO happy with our flowers! Due to budgetary reasons, we had to minimize floral arrangements and focused on bouquets and boutonnieres. They came out amazing! Fresh Affairs (and Lynn) were a pleasure to work with! I sent them images of bouquets I loved and envisioned for my day and they reciprocated with the most perfect flowers I could have imagined for myself and my bridesmaids. Fantastic! Len from Fresh Affairs was able to create the exact vision I had for my wedding and still stay in my modest budget. He's incredibly talented and his arrangements are true works of art.

There are no words to express the gratitude and excitement we feel about how Fresh Affairs handled Elise and Caleb's wedding this past weekend. From the moment we stepped into your studio last Sept. to begin planning until we left Rose Hill Plantation at midnight this past Saturday we knew we had worked with the best floral designer anywhere!
You made everything so easy. All we had to do was to give you our color scheme and you took it from there!
I want to say to anyone planning a wedding , Lyn and Fresh Affairs is your only answer.
The flowers and table arrangements were EXQUISITE to say the least but it does not stop there! Lyn took care of coordinating all of the linens, chairs, chair pads..... I could go on and on!
We ran into some weather issues that required major last minute changes and Lyn handled them and put our minds at ease without exploiting the situation.
Lyn and his staff have a way of making you feel that your wedding is as important to them as it is to you. I know it is important to keep a client happy and that is not always an easy thing to do with weddings. We never had any questions unanswered and they were always in touch to make certain everything happened without one hitch!
Thanks is such an understatement but THANKS! We love you and your company!

WOW! Exactly what I wanted... Those were the words I heard from our daughter when she saw the brides and bridesmaids flowers! There were no words to describe how Prestonwood's ballroom looked with the flowers and candles that you used for Taylor and Jarrod's wedding reception. It was truly breathtaking and gorgeous and EXACTLY what she wanted. Lynn and his staff are very professional and I would recommend them for any special occasion. I just called Lyn at Fresh Affairs to let him know that he did an amazing job for my daughters wedding! The Grand Marque could not have been more beautiful! He put the wow factor in the whole wedding! He kept us sane the whole way while planning and executing the wedding! During our initial email exchanges, we went back and forth on what I was looking for, and Lyn was able to modify his proposal to fit within my budget. What we got for our money was just amazing!
