Rainy dream proposal in NYC!

We are a German couple and planned our first trip to NYC together for mid December. I wanted to use this occasion to ask my girlfriend to marry me. I found Frerk in the Internet and was very impressed by his pictures so I decided to contact Frerk via his homepage. From there on it was very pleasant to plan everything. Frerk helped me with the spot to propose and gave me very good information and tips for the proposal. His responses were very fast and very friendly!
Even though it was raining very heavily Frerk was already 10 minutes before the established time at the location. My girlfriend didn’t notice him until the moment of the proposal! So he covered himself very good. The shooting After the proposal was very Good and we felt very comfortable during the whole shooting. He was very friendly to both of us.

We hope that we Will have the chance to have a shooting with Frerk again and highly recommend him to everyone! The pictures we received afterwards were great. We will never forget this unique moment thanks to Frerk!

Unforgettable!!

We are from Germany and celebrated with family our wedding in NYC! Frerk organized everything in advance,gave us a good feeling,that everything will work out fine and it was exactely the case! great support, professional shoot, family atmosphere

Hey, we are Kathi & Mark and got married in October 2019 in New York City, during our 7 day holiday. We were supported by Frerk Hopf, a great wedding photographer. He supported us with the local authorities and also took great pictures of our wedding.

He made our day including the photography shoot and the office support a lovely pleasure. Frerk works very professional and well organized, his photography knowledge is perfect. We had a lot of fun with Frerk and felt relaxed the whole day. We really recommend Frerk Hopf as wedding photographer.

The money was definitely worth the great moments, pictures and memories. If you consider, it's the only chance, just that one day, you will always remember. Amazing experience

Reliable and super nice wedding photographer!

My now husband and I decided spontaneously to get married alone in NYC. But it was clear that we wanted to have a photo shoot and during our research we came across Frerks website. We liked Frerk immediately and also the contact was super nice! The payment via Paypal worked out great.
When the big day arrived and we had met Frerk personally, we knew that we had done everything right. Frerk is such a cool and likeable person. He really put his heart and soul into the shooting to get great photos. It was sooo much fun, we had really great two hours and are very happy that Frerk is even our best man :-) The photos turned out so incredibly beautiful, when we looked at them we could review our wedding once again. We could not have imagined it better!

Amazing experience with Frerk Photography

We could´t have found a better one than Frerk.

On our special day, when we met Frerk, it felt like we knew him since years already. Very warm and empathic guy who took the best photos we ever saw. He captured the moment of the proposal with awesome photos.

We can highly recommend him to all other couples.
We would love to have him also as our wedding photographer, but unfortunately he is too far away from Germany :(

Great pictures, we love it!!!

We married in Germany in August 2019 and spent our honeymoon in New York. So we searched for a german photographer and contacted Frerk. He is very friendy and proffessional. We had a great time on our shooting at the Central Park. The Pictures are awesome and we will remind a long time to this unforgettable experience.

Best photographer for my big question that I could have found !!!

Absolutely unique !! I had attacked Frerk with many questions. He was so helpful and has with much patience, with me the planning for my big question taken.
In the search for the right location, Frerk had many good ideas. Since I'm from Germany and of course I do not know enough about NY. I have relied on him and was very very pleasantly surprised. The place and the time were perfect for my application! and my future wife had not noticed.
Frerk is very professional and was over punctual!
It was not until I showed her Frerk that she noticed him.

The pictures we got from him very quickly are absolutely incredible! On that day the weather was not so perfect, but Frerk has always put us in the perfect light ;-) I can only recommend anyone looking for a photographer, Frerk.

Have rarely seen so much professionalism!

Wedding Shooting in NYC Gaza Park

Frerk was very fast in answering, correct, providing great suggestions, giving opportunities.
He was a great photograph, we felt like he was our best friend, very pleasant shooting, we all had be happy and had just a great time we will always remember! With him the shooting was not just a shooting but something very personal we will keep always in our hearts.

Valuable memorys perfektly captured!

I contacted Frerk bevor going to NYC and he provided me with so many valuable infomations about the right spot, time and other little details which campe later up as so important.
When it came to the proposal, he captured our moments and calmed especcially me down, since I still was nervous.

Amazing and unforgettable day - kept in pictures

AMAZING! I contacted Frerk for a wedding proposal shooting in the Central Park. We (from Germany) spend our holidays in New York and I organized every little detail with Frerk beforehand via EMail. Everything went well and he gave me some useful advice. My future wife had no clue, The shooting was totally nice and we enjoyed every single moment. Frerk took us to beautiful locations and made us forget all the people around us. Each picture is exactly reflecting the atmosphere of the day. When we now look at them, we have the feeling to be back in New York. We can highly recommend Frerk. The only disadvantage is that he is so many miles away and can not be our wedding photograph ;)

Best photographer in NYC

Frerk was just great! We came to NYC to get married from Germany and Frerk was so supportive in every aspect, even in advance. He has such a positive energy, is so friendly and gives you the most comfortable feeling right away. We loved his ability to adjust us in the right place and light and it truly made the whole process (it didn't feel like it - it was more like hanging out) super enjoyable and fun for us! And the results are just perfect: our wedding pictures are SO BEAUTIFUL! All of our friends envy us. We are a young couple from Germany and we had a wonderful wedding day in New York City with Frerk and his wife Theresa :) Both were so thoughtful, caring and friendly that it almost felt like being together with good friends. Our communication with them and the pre-weeding planning was great and we had the chance to get to know them before our special day. We were able to give voice to our wishes beforehand (style of photos, wedding ceremony location...) and both provided us with useful advice and tips about getting married in NYC. The wedding day itself was just perfect! While Theresa got us married in Central Park (she prepared a beautiful speech), Frerk took a lot of pictures. In doing so, he spared no effort to pick out perfect spots, which combined the style of NYC and our personal wishes. Just a couple of weeks later we got to see the results and were delighted! Frerk managed to capture our wonderful moments just perfectly and with a high degree of professionalism and we were happy to have him and his wife at our wedding :) Therefore, we can only recommend Frerk as a photographer and his wife as magistrate if you want to have a unique day!!!

Frerk is your perfect photograph for your proposal!

As you see in my rating everything was perfect. Just some highligts:
- The proposale guide is a must have for you, he help a lot to find the right spot and answer all your questions
- The propose self, well you will forget all around you. And Frerk is behind a tree or something like that :-D and take the unforgettable photos!!!
- The shooting after the proposal with the central park as loaction is amazing. Frerk knows all good places and the photos are just "WOW"
- Also Ferek is just a lovely person, my girlfriend or know my fiancee was so nervous and he took her tension

It's already an exciting day so its good to know that there is an professional photographer who help you with all.

On our wedding day we had a fotoshooting, which lasted 3 hours in New York City. In preparation we skyped and talked about the places where we would like to fotoshoot. He had good ideas and tips (real NYC-fotos, no "normal" wedding fotos, lose less time for transfer). We started our fototour in brooklin bridge park, went to the metro and finished next to Grand Central Station. He had the feeling for great places and pictures, made good advises for posing and so on. We had a really good relationship with him, which made it very easy for us :) He always uses 2 cameras and speaks English and German. He made it a very special day for us!

I come from Germany.
In January 2018 I had a fantastic idea - proposal in New York. I found Frerk via one germans blog. After this I came in contact with Frerk - he was very friendly. He sent me even an "Proposal Guide", where I could choose a place for proposal. The guide includes also hints for every single step for the proposal, also some good advices for restaurants in NYC.
As we came to the arranged place, Frerk was already there and waited for us. He took veeeryyyy good pictures of us! After postproduction all the images still looks very natural! Some of them looks even as a snapshot of a film. Frerk has a really good sense for looking good picture!
I definitely recommend Frerk as a Fotograph! Our proposal pictures are awesome. I'm pretty sure, that wedding pictures looks even much better!

I hired Frerk as a "secret engagement photographer" without the knowledge of my current fiancée. He should capture this unique moment from the background. So I booked the "Iconic New York City Proposal Package".
From the time of the first email to the day of the photo shoot, Frerk has always responded very quickly. He answered all kinds of questions with helpful tips and his experience. Communication via e-mail was very pleasant and professional. All agreements were recorded in an online contract and the payment was made via Paypal.
Frerk was very punctual at the agreed place and everything worked out as agreed. After the one "question" which I asked at the Central Park, we had a great couple shoot at the most beautiful places in the park. Frerk even took more than the agreed 45 minutes and gave us a great feeling. We had a very nice time and we will always remember this moment and the shooting.
The edited photos, altogether 52 pieces although only 30 were agreed upon, we received after not even 2 weeks. We are absolutely thrilled by the photos and all those we showed them to. During our five day trip to New York, my partner proposed to me on a Friday morning next to the Brooklyn Bridge. We have been very lucky that there weren't many people around. I just notice a photographer taking pictures of the Manhattan skyline. After the proposal the photographer approached us and it turned out he took pictures during the proposal. My partner of course set it all up to not even surprise me with the proposal but also with Frerk taking pictures of us. Frerk has been such a delightful person and was very polite. He took several pictures of us on a couple of other locations nearby and went over and beyond our expectations even though it was freezing cold. He has been very professional and his instruction on where and how we had to pose have been very easy to follow. We felt very comfortable during the whole time and he made us feel very special. The pictures arrived us a couple of weeks later via email. He provided us with a link for our own picture gallery and a link to download the pictures. We love the pictures and all of our friends and family are stunned by them.
We can only recommend Frerk as a photographer. Since our flight to New York got delayed my partner had to rearrange with Frerk the date and time and he was very helpful and understanding. He responded to all of the mails very quickly and was very flexible.
We would like thank Frerk for his work and the opportunity to share this unforgettable moment with friends and family and we hope to see you again in New York for another photo shooting.

We booked the “Frerk Hopf Photography” via there own website. We planned everything from Germany and with the amazing support from Frerk and his team everything was perfect organized. We had a video chat with them a few days before we arrived.

The wedding day was like a dream come true. It was our BEST day in our live. The wedding speech was awesome. We booked a 3 hour photo tour as well. And it was every single dollar worth. The photos are unbelievable and the response to them were amazing. Frerk and his team did a very professional job. I never saw photos on such a professional level.

We recommend Frerk and his team at any time. They were open-hearted, pleasantly and very very friendly . Just like good old friends!

Our shooting with Frerk was great!!! We booked him for our wedding shooting at DUMBO. He is so likeable! We enjoyed the shooting so much...we never expect that. It was our first shooting and we were very nervously about that. I´ve sent Frerk an e-mail to inform him about my plans, to ask if he was available at my preferred date, and to find out a bit more about the whole procedure. He replied to all my questions in less than 24 hours. It was very pleasant to communicate with him, even more so as he also supported me with ideas, proposals and advice.
As the big day came, Frerk and his wife Theresa were at the arranged location, and on time. I haven't met them before, so they discretely signalized to me, who they are. They were calm, patient, and they even made sure, that there was nobody else in our picture. They were supporting me a 100% and even gave me a bit of courage to finally dare and pop the question. All that, without my future wife noticing anything.
The shooting after the actual proposal was fantastic as well. It was a lot of fun and we are thrilled about the results. If we were to get married in New York, we would definetely book Frerk as our photographer and and his wife Theresa for the performance our wedding ceremony.

We chose Frerk and his wife Theresa as our wedding photographers 10 months before our August 2017 wedding and both of them did an EXCEPTIONAL job! The couple went above and beyond, were EXTREMLY creative and captured every moment of our big day! The both of them were very personal, enthusiastic, and prompt, and super easy to work with before, during and after our wedding. Frerk's friendly, natural, welcoming and inviting demeanor (simply put, 'seine sympathische Art') made us feel extremely comfortable during our photo shoot and we trusted him and the process completely. The photos Frerk produced are simply phenomenal and blew our minds!!! It is because of Frerk, that we will be able to relive our wedding over and over again, discover all the hidden moments we were too busy to notice in the moment, and we can't thank him enough for our exquisite photo gallery! Theresa, Frerk's wife, was not just our second photographer, but also our bilingual marriage officiant, who prepared our wedding ceremony in both languages, English and German. Taking photos with Frerk was the best decision ever! In the mix between a lot of fun and exceedingly great professionalism, our wishes were not only fulfilled but far exceeded. Since we had decided spontaneously for an after-wedding-photoshooting in NY (about 4 weeks before departure), we had hardly hope to find a free date, but Frerk has given us the "icing on the cake of our wedding story". The photo shoot took place on our first holiday of our honeymoon and Frerk took us to locations we would never have come to. After a very fast processing time we got our pictures almost at the same time with our return to Germany and were allowed to enjoy the extraordinary and unique pictures. As a hobby photographer, it was a very special experience for me (the bride) 1) to shoot in NY, 2) of course, to wear my wedding dress again and 3) to work with a casual but very professional photographer. The chemistry has been right from the start and that is very important! Best choice ever! Made my marriage proposal and asked him to catch this special moment. Everything worked so good and the pictures are just amazing! Prior to that the organization of all that was really uncomplicated: We had a few mails and phone calls and changed pics to be able to identify the others ;)

Frerk did a brilliant job taking photos and organising the admin for our wedding at City Hall. He knew everyone we had to deal with so the paperwork was processed quickly without fuss or stress.
We loved the photos he took for us; we had asked him to capture the fun of the day and he did that perfectly. He also persuaded us to pose for some more formal shots which turned out to be some of the best he took, and caught a number of personal intimate moments which are wonderful to look back on.
Frerk was cheerful and enthusiastic and totally committed to getting great pictures. He has a lovely sense of humour and not only captured the mood of the day but genuinely helped to create it. We recommend him without reservation.

Thanks to Frerk we've had a wonderful and memorable day of wedding in New York. He also helped us with the planning and brought in his experience with location and best time. On the wedding day, his warm and friendly manner took away all the excitement and with Theresa we've had the best officiant we could wish for.

I asked Frerk to make pictures while I proposed to my girlfriend. Even though it was raining like hell and I proposed in the Central Park in NY he was the whole time in a good mood, had great ideas for the photos and made us feel special. After just two days we received the pictures and are super happy with them. As we were just for vacation in NYC he helped me also a lot with the planning in advanced. We would highly recommend him.

The contact with Frerk Hopf Photography was very easy and fast, by mail and also by phone.

Frerk was amazing! A very friendly contact and always reachable for my questions and requests.
We had a wonderful shooting for the proposal near Brooklyn Bridge. He helped us with great and creative ideas and showed ja how to make the perfect picture. He is very professional and has a great equipment. The communication was perfect and we met at the agreed time. We agreed on every detail while i was in germany. Frerk was very kind and helpful in planning this special moment. With all of these photos we have a very special memory and want to thank Frerk for everything! He made this moment even more special!

It was an unique day with unique photos. He gave us a feeling of having family with us on our luckiest day, even if we went to NYC alone. Frerk was a realy nice guy and we enjoy to remind the time with him.

We had our very special day in New York and Frerk was our photpgrapher – but not only that: He was also very caring and gave us important tipps and information, organized the official documentation and calmed us a little. And, most important, he made the beautiful photos of our wedding so that we can remember nearly every second. The photos show all the emotions and happiness we felt. My husband and I got married on 09/08/2016 in New York! We come from Germany so I was very excited about the documents and that it all works. As I researched on the internet about what you need - I found Frerk Hopf Photography (http://frerkhopf.com/de/) That was the best what happend to me!!!

In New York he helped us with the application of all documents and after the wedding with the Apostille.
The photo shooting was so amazing! My husband doesn´t like photo shootings but with Frerk he was so relaxed. Frerk was our photographer for our June wedding in New York City.

Working with Frerk and his wife Theresa (our officiant) was awesome. The communication before the event (via e-mail oder Skype) was pleasant and professional which was important to us, as this was a destination elopement.

We received our wedding photos within two weeks and could not be happier. The pictures are beautiful. I can't help but smile each time I look at them. Frerk and Theresa are easy to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer & an officiant in New York City!

I Frerk booked , for a secret photo shoot . It was about an engagement.
As early as the run it was a very pleasant way of communication.
The day photo shoot and of course the engagement were perfect
Perfect photo shoot . Part with rain , but this was taken very humorous

Even I live far away from New York (Germany) and I did not have much time for the organization of my proposal (only 2 weeks) at the end my expectations were exceeded.
All my questions were answered very detailed. Moreover, the recommended location on my proposal and the following shooting were very nice.
The professional manner of Frerk took away my nervousness from the early beginning.
The pictures he took are really beautiful.

Frerk creates top-notch art and is a highly professional and passionate photographer with extraordinary results.

In his pictures he expresses much more than just a moment. He brings together the emotions of a couple and the energy of the location where a picture is taken in a way that touches hearts.

His professional work is shown in his communication and his business attitude. Before the photo session he set up an appointment with us in order we all get familiar with each other. Based on this conversation he suggested several locations for our photo session, explained his choices and gave us some time to think about them. In case of any questions he always answered in less than 24 hours. The process of signing the contract and paying his salary was very transparent, easy to understand and simple.

His passion motivated us. During the photo session Frerk was very encouraging and helpful to ensure that also people like us that are not used to stand in front of a camera feel comfortable and relaxed and have (a lot of) fun.

We spent a wonderful and great time with Frerk and are very happy about the pictures he created from our wedding day. We can just ask, why it is only possible to give a max of 5 stars. No kidding, Frerk is one of the best photographers we have ever met.

Frerk did a fantastic job.
He is very relaxed, friendly, and helpful. And most important, he took beautiful photographs at Rockefeller Center in front of the Christmas Tree.
