Doug Sent on 01/26/2016this venue is just what we were looking for and more. The owner, Cindy handled every question we had no matter if by phone call or email. She gave us options for décor that fit into our vision from the outdoor ceremony to the indoor reception area. She was always available and accessible within reason. I am very happy with our decision and the affordability of this venue. We feel like this is the right place and person to work with without sacrificing our vision. -

On Tuesday night March 14th, 2023, French Creek Manor hosted our Snohomish Wedding Guild meeting and the venue was incredible. It had been about three years since I had been back to French Creek Manor and what a difference in everything. It had been sold back in 2020 and under new ownership it was a big WOW when I had walked into the venue and saw the transformation of French Creek Manor. With that said it wasn’t my most favorite venues to perform at because it had been so dated and kind of run down. The current owner/operator Ashish really had an eye for detail and really added a whole new personality to the venue. I could believe the transformation of the place. It's so great to see a new vision to this very special location. If you are looking for a venue that can accommodate up to 225 people and it a full services venue for catering to bar service, I would check out the manor one of those pockets of excitement for your special event. User2395663 Sent on 10/28/2015The grounds, location, parking, building internals, etc... for the event were all lovely, fulfilling our expectations. However, what really impressed about the venue was the food (for the price of the catering, it was fantastic with an excellent selection) and the 'day-of' operations.
Though sometimes a bit disoriented via email (however, I only had to worry about one wedding, while she had a host of different events on her mind) Cindy was willing to work with us and our budget. Additionally, though 'venue manager' may be her official title, I believe cooking is her passion. We were surprised and delighted with the quality and selection of the food at the price we paid. This is especially true, as we opted for the buffet style set-up; usually a somewhat dangerous arrangement. However, the food we sampled at the tasting (she was generous with the portions and we sampled almost every item to be served) was an accurate representation of that served at the venue and the appetizers being walked around to each guest was wonderful addition.
The downsides were: sometimes the communication or organization (though, the majority of this was accomplished long distance via email. Everything was vastly improved in person and Cindy had an answer for each of our questions. Day of organization and before the event was handled excellently-not a problem) and some of the venue details (the venue was pretty, though there were some stipulations with the decorations, bar, timing). However, these negatives were more than made up for by the positives! Based on the many locations I investigated you'd be very hard-pressed to find a more inclusive package (catering, bartender, set-up/take-down, most cleaning, serving, time to decorate before, venue rental, and almost every necessary rental item minus linens: chairs, tables, cutlery, dishes, glasses, etc...) at a price better than provided by French Creek. The staff was professional and polite; we couldn't ask for better. -

I had a very bad experience ended up having to cancel my wedding here 2 weeks before hand because of how unresponsive and stressful Ashish was making me and I was verbally promised so much before hand that was not in clouded in my contract and they refused give me last minute things which I was told “you can have any food you ask for” was not given a menu of a tasting.
I lost my deposit for reasons out of my control due to the stress related issues the venue was causing.French Creek Manor's reply:
Thanks Brenda for sharing your feedback... but please read your contract carefully... it clearly said that if you cancel the booking the security deposit is non refundable. As far as taking bookings on same day... it should be none of your concern as we are obligated to fulfill our commitments as per the contract and provide you space for the allocated time which was clearly mentioned in writing in contract.. If the expectations are that you need the place before agreed on time.. that is subjected to additional cost, availability and owners discretion..
As a client, I would respect your expectations but you also need to respect other's time and be sensitive to their commitments. You booked the venue for a certain date - time on low budget and we did our best to accommodate your needs..but it was unfortunate that you pulled the cord - just because we can't give you FREE extra time...that is not fair !
