The best wedding venue & team!

We celebrated our wedding this past Labor Day weekend at French Creek (ceremony in the barn; reception in the ballroom). My husband and I cannot thank the staff at French Creek Golf Club enough for making our wedding dreams come true. French Creek is an amazingly beautiful venue, but what makes it so special is the incredibly organized, diligent, and meticulous staff. Everything from the initial tour, to the sit-down tasting, and to all of the vendor coordination in between was such a seamless, stress-free experience. We cannot underscore the “stress-free” component enough. Laurel and her team managed all day-of timelines, coordinated with vendors, accommodated last-minute COVID-cancellations and changes to the guest list, and synced on walkie-talkies during our wedding day to ensure everything went smoothly. Laurel even bustled my dress for me prior to our cocktail hour! Our friends raved about the food - the best filet they have ever had at a wedding, the bar/entire staff, and how beautiful the venue was (all loved the indoor/outdoor cocktail hour space). My husband and I are truly so grateful we chose French Creek for our wedding day and highly recommend this venue.

Fairytale Wedding Experience

We are so happy we chose to have our wedding at French Creek - it was the perfect day! We have nothing but good things to say. Obviously, the grounds are stunning and make for a fairytale backdrop. Beyond that, we were so impressed with the service. Sara was incredibly responsive, helpful, and fun to work with. She answered every question with kindness no matter how small or silly, and made every request a reality. I loved having her there on my wedding day. Anna, my bridal attendant, was awesome. She was always there when I needed her and I’m so thankful she was there to help me on the wedding day. Krysta ensured things ran smoothly and Robyn made it easy to keep track of payments. The food was delicious - highly recommend the risotto! Something I loved was that right after our ceremony, Anna and Sara brought us a tray of all the appetizers being passed around so we didn’t miss a thing! It started to rain while we were doing our first look/wedding portraits and Sara magically appeared with umbrellas. Overall, the day ran so smoothly and I felt like I didn’t have to think about a thing - I just got to enjoy the day (and no, we did not have a wedding planner - you really don’t need one, French Creek has it covered!).
My one suggestion is that if you plan on taking photos on the dock by the lake, ask them to sweep off the deck. It’s worth it!
We would highly recommend French Creek to anyone!

Truly the best day

For most of our guests, this was the first time they were at French Creek Golf Club and were amazed this hidden gem existed. Service was impeccable from the bartenders to servers who served 150 people in the matter of minutes. The kitchen team was amazing based on everyone saying their filet was cooked perfectly! Laurel and Courtney keep us organized months leading up to the wedding and always had smiles on their faces. They provided us with all the details they could to make the planning process easy. We are truly so happy with everything and appreciate the amazing team that made our special day perfect!

Perfect night!

My husband and I got married April 2023 and were beyond happy with French Creek as our venue! From the very start everyone was so responsive and working with Laurel and Courtney made everything go so smoothly! They kept us on track during the entire planning process and made sure everything was PERFECT on our big day. On our day, they made sure they were there for everything and made sure that my husband and I were always taken care of! The bridal attendant was so hard working, as was the entire staff that night! Not only was the staff great, but the venue is beautiful! We ended up getting married in the barn due to rain, but it was absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. Our guest our still raving about how beautiful the night was and how good the food was! I highly recommend French Creek to any couple for their wedding!! Thank you French Creek for the helping to make our wedding vision come true!!

Beautiful Venue & Outstanding Service!

My husband and I cannot thank French Creek Golf Club enough for the outstanding job they did on our wedding day. First, the venue itself is absolutely beautiful and only focuses on one event per day! We had searched high and low for a wedding venue that had separate indoor areas for ceremony and reception (which was great, because it ended up raining on our day!). The barn was spacious and beautiful and the event building had enough space for guests to enjoy cocktail hour and reception in the ballroom. Most importantly, Laurel and Courtney helped us keep on track throughout the whole wedding planning process, checking in with each of the milestones on their planning checklist. They also worked directly with our vendors and established a wedding day timeline with them, so on the day of we were hands off for the most part. Laurel and Courtney also rapidly answered any questions or concerns we had during the planning process as well as provided any recommendations as needed. On the day of, we had Laurel and Courtney as well as a bridal assistant Chryssa and night manager Luis to end the night. All were amazing, kind, and receptive to our requests. They really helped us keep calm through out the chaos of the day.

Wonderful Venue

My husband and I absolutely loved French Creek! We cannot imagine a better venue for us on our special day! Not only is the venue breath takingly beautiful, but Laurel and her team were amazing to work with and made the whole wedding planning process a breeze. Laurel was also amazing the day of our wedding and we don't know what we would've done without her. We feel so blessed to have had such great people to work with that made our wedding day so special. Our guests also raved about the cocktail hour food and the dinner! We cannot recommend French Creek enough!

The Perfect Wedding Venue and Staff

We had our wedding in October of 2022 and it was absolutely perfect. From all of the planning with Laurel and her staff all my questions were answered fast and they made sure they day went so smoothly. Many guests complimented the staff the day of the wedding for being helpful and kind! There was plenty of staff and they were easy to fond throughout the entire day! They were especially helpful with making sure the groom and I did not see each other since we were not doing a first look.
The venue is absolutely beautiful and so well maintained. There are so many unique areas for photos. We loved the fact that every part of the day had it's own special area. We did our ceremony in the barn and it was so beautiful. The cocktail hour was on the patio and we had the doors open. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing and so many of our guest raved about it. Our day could not have been more perfect and there is not a moment I would change! We cannot thank French Creek and the staff enough!

Best wedding venue EVER!!!

The experience that my husband and I had at our wedding at French Creek was beyond incredible! Courtney and Laurel helped me so much throughout the wedding planning process and were extremely responsive with any questions I had. Their attention to detail had me confident that I was in good hands. Our wedding day was nothing short of perfect. The staff at French Creek were so attentive, kind, and enjoyable to be around! The food was amazing and the views during our ceremony &cocktail hour were breathtaking! All of our guests are still raving about what an incredible wedding venue French Creek is! I can’t recommend their services enough!!

The most beautiful wedding venue

I can’t stay enough positive things about French Creek. We got married here on May 28, 2022 and haven’t stopped talking about how wonderful our day was. The staff is incredibly processional, accommodating and kind. We worked with Laurel, who was so responsive and helpful. She was extremely organized and helped keep us on schedule leading up to the big day. She was so quick to answer any email and question I sent her way. Truly a pleasure to work with. The venue itself is like a piece of heaven on earth. It really is one of the most beautiful, peaceful places I have ever been. No matter what time of year you want to get married, French Creek is sure to impress your guests with its stunning views and top notch service. On top of all of that, their food selections are incredible and so delicious. Their offerings are absolutely a step above any other wedding venue I’ve been to. The day of our wedding, everyone was so lovely and helpful, making sure we enjoyed every minute of our day. If I could do it all over again I would still pick French Creek and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and perfect wedding venue!

One of the Best Days of my Life

Laurel and her entire team at French Creek are AMAZING. I cannot say enough great things about my wedding here. The venue and grounds are GORGEOUS, the prices are fair and reasonable, and the staff (special shout out my bridal attendant Krysta) is beyond incredible. Aside from the 100 other reasons for why you should choose French Creek, one of the biggest selling points is the beautiful indoor and outdoor ceremony options. No one plans for rain on their wedding day, and the peace of mind you receive from having their beautiful, re-built and modernized barn as a backup plan is amazing. Laurel and her team are patient, responsive, and fantastic at their jobs. If I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change a thing about French Creek. Thank you for making my wedding one of the best days of my life

Beautiful Venue

When we saw French Creek, we immediately fell in love and knew it was where we wanted to get married. Laurel, Leah, and all of the bridal attendants/staff were incredible to work with. They made sure everything was taken care of and went smoothly which took away all of the stress on our wedding day. The venue itself is so beautiful, even our friends/family cannot stop talking about how beautiful it was. I didn't even feel the need to get a lot of decor because it was so stunning alone. I can't recommend this venue enough.

Excellent Wedding Venue

We had our daughter's wedding at French Creek Golf Club on a perfect summer day. The setting and the gardens are a wonderful backdrop for a gorgeous wedding! The outdoor ceremony, terrace room cocktail hour and ballroom reception were everything we had hoped for and more. Laurel and her team did an amazing job with everything we asked for. This was a rescheduled Covid wedding and I can't say enough about how easy and flexible the owner of the Club was with rescheduling. We are all from out of the area and used The Desmond Hotel for our full service hotel. They handled all of the bus transportation for us, as well as welcome and after parties, and a brunch. They are an amazing combination with this venue if you need a hotel partner. We highly recommend French Creek for Chester County weddings!

We had an extraordinary experience with French Creek Golf Club. My Daughter and Son in Laws Wedding Day was absolutely perfect. Kate was a pleasure to work with and made sure every detail was taken care of. She constantly went over and above to make this day incredible. French Creek Golf Club is a beautiful country setting with a stunning background for photographs. Each and every staff member was accommodating and friendly. The food was amazing. A dream wedding!

We had the best day we could have imagined at French Creek Golf Club. The venue is absolutely beautiful! We got married a few months ago and are still hearing what beautiful scenery we had for our wedding. Between the barn, the clubhouse, and the spring house, it is just stunning. Working with the event coordinator, Kate, was also a pleasure. Our questions and concerns were always immediately addressed and I just knew the day of would go off without a hitch. Which it did! Would absolutely recommend this venue!

Perfect is just the beginning

Incredible from the first moment we arrived to talking endlessly about how perfect our wedding day was. French Creek has historic charm but all the modern amenities you want to make every guest feel relaxed and excited to celebrate. There is so much that Kate, your new godsend, takes care of so that you don’t have to worry. Want to take pictures during the cocktail hour? Kate is there with drinks and a plate of appetizers so you have something to eat. Someone bring a surprise decoration? Kate has already found a spot. It would be our new family event venue if the rest of my family lived in PA. It’s the best, simple as that.

Best Day Ever!

What a dream our wedding at French Creek Golf Club was! 9/29/19 was the most perfect day thanks to the amazing team at French Creek! Kate Hannon, the event manager and day-of-coordinator is superwoman!!! She is super organized and on top of every single detail. Her communication was so efficient and prompt which was super important for me as I live far from the area. There’s nothing Kate couldn’t handle, (including our guest list which kept growing by the minute), and she did it all with such ease and grace! There is nothing like being able to sit back and fully enjoy your wedding day knowing that all things are flowing extremely smoothly! We were able to do that thanks to Kate and her wonderful team!

We would recommend this venue a million times over! French Creek is simply magical! Every corner is absolutely charming, from the lovely restored barn, the gorgeous outdoor ceremony space with breathtaking views, and the elegant ballroom, I could go on and on about how stunning it is. My husband and I are forever grateful to have found French Creek and have the most glorious wedding day!

Our dream wedding venue!

We absolutely loved every little thing about our wedding at French Creek! We were looking for a venue that had a beautiful ceremony location and an equally beautiful back-up plan in case of rain, and French Creek had it! We were lucky to have a picture-perfect day for our ceremony, but I would have been equally happy to have the ceremony in the newly-renovated barn. It is stunning! Our guests loved mingling on the terrace during cocktail hour and throughout the evening. The whole venue is beautiful- the foyers, the suites, the grounds outside, there are so many options for photos. Kate Hannon, the coordinator, was fabulous to work with. We knew we were in good hands after our first meeting with her - she is super organized and detail-oriented, and was very responsive to my emails and questions. Kate has a great sense of humor and a reassuring presence, which was so appreciated during the rehearsal and wedding day. I was confident that everything would go smoothly because she was prepared and had our back should any complications arise. Kate and her staff are so attentive - even placing a napkin on my lap during dinner to be sure I didn't spill on my dress! Our friends and family are still raving about our wedding; from the food, to the gorgeous space, they loved it just as much as we did. Thank you so very much to all of the staff at French Creek - we had our dream wedding thanks to all of your efforts and wouldn't change a thing! I highly recommend having your wedding at French Creek!

Ecstatic we chose French Creek!!

My husband and I live in Boston, however I'm from PA originally, when choosing a venue we did not want to drive down to the area unless we were sure we loved the place. My mom went and looked at the French Creek and FaceTimed me while she was there, I knew the second I saw it, that was where we were going to get married. I drove down the following week and met Kate the Event Manager who sealed the deal for us. As soon as you meet Kate, you can tell how organized and on top of everything she is. Kate was fantastic to work with throughout our 15 month engagement, if I needed advice she was always there to help!One of my must haves was a rain plan that I was comfortable with and the barn was above and beyond, we debated getting married outside or in the barn up until our wedding day. We ended up having the most perfect wedding day, including the weather and the day ran as smooth as you can imagine. Kate took complete control the day of, and when I showed up on our wedding day, the place looked even better than I could have imagined. Our guests raved about the venue, food, landscaping, we did not have one complaint. I am so incredibly happy we chose French Creek and would recommend it to anyone looking in the Philly area.

Best day ever!

The first time we went to French Creek Golf Club Kate greeted us with campaign and, painted the vision of how our entire day could be. Once we decided that FCGC would be our choice, Kate made the entire planning process extremely easy. During our food tasting, we were able to experience so much of what would happen on the wedding day it's self. Leading up to our big day, Kate and the staff at FCGC did an amazing job helping us prepare our decorations, as well as the outline of our day. On our wedding day, everything ran extremely smooth from the coordinating with our vendors, to the location and logistics of our wedding party, everything was handled perfectly and made our day stress less and even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this location for the beauty, the staff and and the overall wonderful experience that we had!

Beautiful venue amazing staff

We found French Creek on the knot and fell in love with the venue in the dead of winter when we had our tour and booked shortly after! (Our wedding was 9/28/19 and the beautiful colors of everything made everything that much better) we were able to have our ceremony outside, but the backup plan as the barn would have been just as beautiful! We were able to snag a few pictures there and I can’t wait to see them! Every little bit of the venue is gorgeous, there isn’t one corner that wasn’t a photo opportunity!
Kate was our coordinator and I didn’t have to worry about much the day of because her and her staff took care of it! We had a bridal attendant just for the bride and groom so from the second we came back from being married she had drinks for us, she also brought us and the bridal party an assortment of the food from cocktail hour so we could finish up pictures and not miss out she brought the bridal party drinks so they could enjoy then as well! When our dinner was served, yet we were out talking to tables she came to find us and let us know, kept the food warm and I can’t thank her enough for basically making sure we ate!! The food was delicious!! Everything was perfect about our wedding day, I wish it never had to end so I could continue to enjoy it!

Amazing Venue & Team

Wow. Wow. Wow. The team at French Creek created a flawless, seamless, absolutely perfect wedding day for my husband and me. Kate worked closely with us planning it out and answering all our endless questions leading up to the wedding. The wedding day went without a hitch. Kate had everything in perfect order so we could just enjoy our day! Our vendors raved about how easy it was to work with her. Some of our guests said this was the best wedding they had ever been to. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the team at French Creek really made the day so perfect. I cannot express in words how grateful I am to Kate and team. Most gorgeous venue I could of dreamed of!!!

Just WOW. WOW. WOW. French Creek Golf Club was my absolute dream of a wedding venue. They have absolutely everything I could ever of imagined from the newly renovated barn to the insanely gorgeous ceremony spot in front of the lake/lake house/tree, to the cocktail hour room to the stunning ballroom. I was beyond impressed with every aspect of this venue and not to mention the staff that helped make my day absolutely perfect was AMAZING. Kate knows exactly what she is doing and made every second of my day seamless. She was amazing to work with and plan and extremely great at her job! I would recommend French Creek 100 times out of 100 and literally would not of changed one thing about our day. Very reasonably priced as well and made the whole thing the best experience ever!

French Creek Golf Club with Kate H

Absolute best wedding venue

French Creek Gold Club is hands down the absolute best wedding venue. My husband and I had our ceremony and reception there on June 1st and it was the most amazing day. We had toured countless venues prior to FCGC and as soon as we started to pull in to the venue, we knew it was love at first sight. Once we met the event manager, Kate Hannon, we were sold. We had booked it almost 2 years out and we are so glad we did as it is quickly becoming the “go-to” wedding venue. Everything from the planning, food tasting, packages, and the staff was amazing and everyone went above and beyond to make sure our day was absolutely perfect. Kate was so nice and would respond to my emails even on her days off. We actually cried a bit once it was over knowing that our time at the club and with Kate was over. We would recommend this place to anyone 1000x over and will absolute keep it in mind for other events in the future. Do not hesitate and book this venue!!!! You will not regret it!

Picture perfect venue

Amazing Venue

My daughters wedding and reception was there last night. It was absolutely amazing. Kate managed everything perfectly. The food was excellent, the service was exceptional and the venue was beautiful. It was worth every penny!!

best.day.ever

My husband and I had our July 2018 wedding at French Creek Golf Club. I cannot begin to describe what a magical day it was. If you are looking for a stunning venue with magnificent staff, I highly suggest checking out FCGC. Our friends and family still rave about French Creek, saying it was one of the most beautiful wedding venues they've ever been to.
From the very beginning, Kate was nothing short of fantastic. There are so many details that go into planning a wedding; so many things I would have never thought of. Trust me ladies, if you want anyone being responsible for your big day, you want Kate and her team. Kate and Shelby are extremely detailed oriented, organized, and responsive. They both were super patient with both my husband and I throughout the entire wedding process. Speaking of process, Kate and Shelby always made sure I was following the recommended timelines as far as when to send out save the dates, invitations, touching base with vendors, etc. The weeks leading up to our wedding, I'm pretty sure I called or emailed Kate 32084037 times. She always eased my mind and kept me calm.
Our day was unforgettable. The food was delicious, the ballroom was set up just how I envisioned it, and the staff were so attentive and friendly to everyone. Both Kate and Shelby checked in with me throughout the entire evening, asking if Matt or I needed anything.
From our day-of decision to get married in the newly renovated barn (which is stunning) due to the weather, to the very end of the evening, we cannot say enough about French Creek. We would 1,000 times over choose French Creek!

Stunning venue with fantastic event manager

I could not say enough wonderful things about French Creek, Kate, and the whole FCGC Team. Kate runs a tight ship in the best way and allows you to truly let go and enjoy your wedding day from start to finish. We got married in December and the venue was already tastefully decorated for the holidays, which was a huge bonus for us, but honestly, it's such a beautiful space that you really don't need to bring in much additional decor.

We knew we wanted to get married in the newly renovated barn but it was still under construction when we first saw the venue. It was easy to visualize how beautiful it would be but the construction timeline made me nervous to not see the finished product before locking in the venue. Kate was kind enough to keep us updated every step of the way to ensure that it would be done in (plenty!) of time and the ultimate product was even more stunning than imagined. This addition fits in perfectly with the classy yet homey feel of French Creek Golf Club. Although we got married in December, it is clear that the venue would be beautiful in any season and that the barn as their new "rain option" is probably a tie with an outdoor ceremony in my eyes - not a bad situation to be in!

BEST DAY EVER! No need to think twice about hosting your wedding here! We got married here on August 18 2018. We live in Maryland, about an hour and 20 min away and with no hesitation at all, we KNEW from the moment we stepped foot on the property that this is where we wanted our day to unfold. We, along with our guests, could not say enough nice things about this venue. Every inch is stunning, and hosts SO many beautiful opportunities for breathtaking photos. Not to mention the ladies and all the helpful staff involved in the planning process. Kate and Shelby were literal angels with the most spirited and positive attitudes - SO accommodating. They made EVERYTHING from day one a breeze and went above and beyond expectations. Kate even jumped in and helped bustle my dress before our entry to the reception! The food was amazing, the desserts were amazing. Our guests could not stop talking about our day. I would recommend this venue a million times over to anyone in question.

Our daughter was married here last weekend and it was a perfect experience. No words can explain the beauty of this venue and the professionalism of the entire staff. They employ a full time gardener and it shows. The gardens, the entry space, every direction was beautiful and well maintained. The expansive views off of the terrace and the cocktail space was picture perfect. You literally have multiple options for wonderful pictures. Kate H., the wedding coordinator is EXTRAORDINARY, very responsive, enthusiastic, accommodating, from our first contact to the event. No question was too much and I wish I could bottle her energy. Her assistant Shelby was wonderful to work with as well. Kate and Shelby were there from when we entered the bridal suite to when we left. They stuck to the timeline and kept everyone updated and informed. Even one of the owners of the club checked in with us to make sure everything was perfect. When the ceremony had to be moved into the newly renovated and beautiful barn due to possible rain, that was an easy transition. The chosen preferred providers were excellent and Kate coordinated with them as well. The food was superb, every guest mentioned how great the food and the servers were. Every server could not have been more helpful, getting special requests, water glasses always filled and even getting me 2 slices of cake so I could try both varieties and I didn't even ask for that. The cocktail space is lovely and they were able to open the full wall of windows onto the terrace. Guests reported very short lines coming in after the ceremony as they provided 3 bars. Literally not one complaint or hiccup and that is almost unheard of. Cannot recommend for your wedding or event any more highly. If you want a 5 star experience, book it asap. It is worth every cent for a remarkable and memorable wedding!

As soon as we walked into French Creek, we knew it was perfect for us! The venue and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Kate and her team were flawless. Attentive to all details, responsive to emails and could not have been any better the day of the wedding. She made sure, I as the bride, did not have to deal with any of the monotony of the day and took care of any 'drama' without me having to know about it. I have heard nightmares from friends about the wedding coordinators at their venue, so I was a bit skeptical relying on someone to do a lot of work. You will not be disappointed in FCGC, or the service they provide - Kate is a rockstar! Highly recommended!!!!

We fell in love the minute we looked at French creek. The venue is breathtaking. From the ballroom to the pond to the barn.. it is absolutely amazing. French Creek is incredible. You will not regret choosing this as your wedding venue. The location is stunning, the building is current but classy, and the coordinators (Kate & Shelby) are incredible. Everyone (hopefully) enjoys their wedding day, but these ladies take the stress out of the planning process. They make it enjoyable from start to finish. The actual wedding reception was absolutely perfect - great atmosphere and delicious food - which we heard in echo from our nearly 200 guests. Zero regrets and countless memories.

My husband and I got married at French Creek on 10/20/17, and we had the absolute BEST DAY EVER! The quality of wedding we got for the price we paid was superb! I couldn't believe that so much was included in the package for the wedding (hors d'oeuvres, dinner, cake, open bar, table and chair with basic linens, attendants, and so much more)! We even had a personal waitress who would tend to us first before serving others. She would randomly pop by our table and see if we needed anything.
The wedding event manager position changed hands while we were planning our wedding, but the transition was seamless. Every time I had a question, I could just write a quick email. Sometimes, I would have to write a second email, but it was understandable since she was getting so many from so many brides I'm sure. I was definitely one. I must have written 100 emails!
The food was excellent, the atmosphere was picturesque, and the accommodations were lovely. I cannot recommend French Creek enough. So many guests have told us that it was the nicest wedding they've ever been too! I tend to agree!

It's been a few months since my May wedding and I still don't have the words to describe how perfect French Creek was. We still hear compliments about our perfect day. There are few venues in this area that have both gorgeous grounds and a modern/ ballroom. We were lucky enough to have pouring rain the entire day of our wedding, but French Creek is so pretty, we didn't even mind. They decorated the ballroom to create the perfect ceremony space, it was unbelievable. Kate was the best wedding coordinator I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, from pre-wedding planning to keeping our parents and bridal party in line throughout the big day, she didn't skip a beat! I can't say enough about the venue but I need to pause for a moment and discuss the food...the cocktail hour was beyond and the dinner was fantastic. My parents are very tough critics and they still RAVE about the filet and crab cake. French Creek takes the cake for an understated, elegant, luxurious venue that is also reasonably priced. Can you tell I'm in love?

French Creek is absolutely amazing - the staff is phenomenal, the venue is gorgeous, and the food is top notch. I really don't know where to start, but in short, Kate & Mindy made our wedding dreams come true. They were accommodating with ALL of our requests, from the smallest detail - like making sure my 95 year old grandmother got a gigantic bowl of ice cream to go with her dinner (because she was leaving early), to the major wishes - like honoring our request to do a "stations" style buffet dinner with an almost custom menu. Kate was super responsive to all of my thousands of emails, and she was a great day-of coordinator as well. When it comes to value, we were truly lucky to find French Creek when we did, shortly after major renovations to the event spaces, because this place is/will be definitely in high demand from here on out.

My last note is this - I was sure of one thing when we started looking for reception spaces - I did not want to get married at a golf club. Golf isn't my thing, and I didn't want to get married steps away from an 18th hole. This place, as a golf club, was my last choice, until I saw it. The club building has all the charm of a home featured on "Fixer Upper," with a gorgeous pond and barn surrounding the ceremony space. The golf is completely separated from the wedding venue side of the club, and it truly feels like the cozy, modern farmhouse you wish you grew up in with the space to hold a fantastic party for your friends and family.

We booked French Creek for our wedding reception venue 17 months in advance for our date of 10-15-2016. It was the third venue we saw in person, and I knew immediately that it was the perfect one for us. We had barely gotten home from seeing it when I was ready to call them and officially book our date. The setting is absolutely beautiful. The outdoor patio was quite a selling point for me- it overlooks water which was important for my husband, and I fell in love with the oak tree and spring house. It doesn't hurt that our wedding date landed on a sunny, warm autumn day, but I wasn't concerned with the weather to begin with since the patio is covered and has big sliding glass doors so that our guests would have had terrific views of the scenery regardless of the weather conditions. Due to the natural beauty and character found both inside and outside of this venue, I knew I only wanted to contribute minimal decorations for the reception so that our guests wouldn't be distracted from all of the elegance that French Creek offers. The service provided by the staff and wedding coordinator, Janet Ruben, exceeded our expectations. They enthusiastically accommodated our personal touches and encouraged us to personalize and develop our dream wedding reception. Thank you for making it the best day ever!

My husband and I got married at FC on Nov 7. I didnt want a standard country club setting, but we were on a budget that wouldnt allow for a Philly ballroom. French Creek was a perfect medium with elegant features and an affordable price. They recently made upgrades to the property which were completely in line with our vision. We had our cocktail hour on the patio, which was perfect for our guests to mingle under the stars. We had a band who blew the roof off; every waiter/waitress was walking around dancing along to the music. Sharon is wonderful to work with, Mina and Sophia took care of every need on the day of, and "the Joe's" delivered an amazing meal - every guest raved about the food! Overall it was a terrific party and a day I would relive over and over!

When my husband and I visited FCGC a few years ago I knew immediately this is the place where I wanted us to get married. I can’t even begin to explain how easy and fun planning our wedding was with the staff. Sharon, the event planner was on top of everything we requested and just made our visits so much more comfortable and about us. The golf course alone is breath taking and with the new add features in the ballroom just makes this place more unique. All my guests complemented on how amazing and perfectly cooked entrees were. Jackie Hogan and the crew at French Creek made my wedding completely stress-free and gorgeous. People told me how stressful wedding planning was going to be, and I was so worried. I experienced virtually no stress and it is all due to the employees at French Creek. They are helpful, generous, kind, and willing to meet your needs. They are flexible and are a great group to work with. Our reception and ceremony were both there, and the grounds were beautiful. Our pictures turned out great mostly due to the amazing scenery we had. French Creek is a perfectly picturesque place to get married with a top notch staff there to help. DEFINITELY go there!!!

Oh my gosh-where to start with French Creek Golf Club. We had our wedding reception at French Creek, an amazing venue! First of all, the location is beautiful. The ballroom is equally as beautiful! Jackie Hogan and her staff were wonderful to work with. I was so impressed with their attention to detail. I dropped off so many boxes of items for the reception. Jackie took the time to look thru everything with me. I appreciated the tjme she took to make sure all was set up as I had planned. She made this bride feel as relaxed as possible:). The champagne greeting was a wonderful start to our night. The coffee station to go was so nice to offer our guests! And the food- wow! It was so incredible! The service was top notch! French Creek Golf Club is a stunning venue! Everything about it is romantic and elegant. My husband and I looked at many venues before we found French Creek. We thought we were going to have to "settle" for something we thought was "okay" but French Creek surpassed all of our expectations! The staff here are all extremely helpful, accommodating, and professional. Every aspect of our wedding was perfect and my husband and I could not be any happier. The wedding coordinator Jackie, was beyond fabulous to work with. She is absolute joy to be around!! Jackie is a phenomenal person both professionally and personally. She went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy bride and accommodated all of our creative ideas and visions for our wedding. French Creek was absolutely beautiful. We had our ceremony outside followed by cocktail hour with the reception in the ballroom. We received so many complements from our guests about how unique and picturesque the venue was. The staff was all so friendly and helpful, especially Jackie, the wedding coordinator. Whenever I had a question she was always there to put my mind at ease. The day of our wedding I didn’t have to worry about a thing as everything was set up and ready for us.
I would absolutely recommend French Creek and I couldn’t be happier with how magical and memorable our wedding day was!

First of all, Jackie, the wedding coordinator, is wonderful! She assured me that everything would be taken care of. She answered my tons of questions. She was very willing to meet my fiance and I. She kept every request, question, conversation on file. She was extremely professional and thorough. My guests could not stop raving about the gorgeous venue and the picture perfect scenery. I could not imagine a more perfect setting for the most important day of our lives. All of the food was delicious, along with the goodbye station. Apparently there were brownies that were to die for, but I missed out on them. As part of that package, they supplied sparklers for our grand exit and it was so picturesque. The venue and staff exceeded my expectations. I could not have been happier with having our wedding here. LOVE LOVE LOVE French Creek!

I loved everything about my wedding. The best part, the venue!! French creek has beautiful landscaping. The staff set everything up exactly the way I wanted it. Jackie the event coordinator was great at keeping things light and easy when it came down to the wire! At first it was a little difficult to get a hold of her but she made sure everything was great.

We really enjoyed developing our vision for the our wedding with Jackie. She is quick to respond to phone calls and e-mails. She goes above and beyond what we expected, she is just a saint! I actually miss her, since we worked together for over 1.5 years on our wedding! We received many compliments from our friends and family, who have pretty high standards (like my husband and I), on the food and the location! Jackie even has decorations like table numbers, votives, chargers, etc. for you to use. I didn't know this but we used the charges and incorporating some of their plain votives into our gold, navy and coral color theme. Everything was absolutely beautiful, I felt so confident and relaxed throughout the wedding! My husband and I had the best day ever and would do it all over exactly the same.... maybe in 5 or 10 years ; )

We could not be happier with our wedding at French Creek. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous - we were very lucky to have amazing weather so the guests were able to be outside and enjoy the scenery. The food was delicious - many of our guests commented on how good it was. Jackie (wedding coordinator) was flexible, accommodating, responsive, and extremely helpful.

After our daughters wedding we received so many unexpected emails, notes, phone calls just to tell us that our wedding was by far the most fabulous, fun, beautiful wedding they had been to, either in many years or ever. From the Venue, Food, service, friendly staff, down to all the details including the flowers and table setting everyone raved and raved. We were so thrilled we joined the club!

perfect form start to finish. Perfect venue and very well served. Food, ususally avearge at weedings was excellent.
WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT THE NUMBER 1 REASON FOR THE PERFECTION WAS DUE TO THE SHAER WILL, DETERMINATION AND PROFESSIONALISM OF JACKIE. PERIOD. I BELIEVE THAT IOF SHE HAD TO SERVE EVERY DRINK, MEAL AND RUN THE DJ SHE WOULD HAVE DONE IT AND NOONE WOULD HAVE NOTICED A DIFFERENCE. The folks at French Creek did a masterful job, helped in the planning, were flawless in the execution, and made our wedding a beautiful and stress-free event. Jackie Hogan of French Creek is the event coordinator par excellence. The food was fantastic.

We are so glad we chose to have our wedding at French Creek! Jackie, who runs the weddings there, is super helpful and always easy to access. The amount that the venue does for you--from decor setup to troubleshooting to the delicious food and open bar--is truly outstanding. I would recommend them without hesitation for a wedding or other special event.

I can't recommend this venue enough! The location and setting were BEAUTIFUL! The leaves in the trees were just about to change, so the coloring couldn't have been more spectacular! The food was delicious, the ballroom was gorgeous, and Jackie was the absolute best wedding coordinator a bride could ask for. She was patient, available, and extremely personable. A couple of my groomsmen fell in love with her during the wedding! I didn't even picture having a fairytale wedding, and I absolutely ended up with one! Thank you to everyone at French Creek for being awesome!

French Creek was the perfect setting for our perfect day. The ceremony site (on the lawn behind the clubhouse, overlooking the pond and an old spring house) was absolutely gorgeous. French Creek's event coordinator, Jackie Hogan, was amazing, gracious, friendly, organized, and kept everything running right on track. The reception was in the ballroom, and the wait staff were friendly and professional. Overall, we had a great experience at French Creek, and French Creek served as an amazing backdrop for some fantastic wedding photos.

It is an absolutely beautiful venue!!

The chef was fantastic. He was a great guy to work with and the food was delicious! Best wedding food I've ever had!

After a change of management and hiring a new event coordinator, everything went off smoothly. They took care of all the details and made the whole day stress free.

Pinterest Perfect

Like many of the other reviewers, I also did not want a country club wedding and French Creek Golf Club provides the perfect balance of a beautiful reception venue with the service of a country club. Our wedding day was exactly what we imagined. I had one guest tell me that our wedding looked exactly like a Pinterest wedding and that was due to the beauty of this venue. Kate, the event manager, ensured that our event plans were completed the month before. She and her staff were amazing on the day of. One example was that our florist did not send flowers for the cake. Kate was able to strategically take some flowers from our centerpieces to decorate the cake beautifully! One word of advice is that this venue is better suited for 200 or less guest. They can squeeze more in but we had 200 and felt like that was the perfect number for the ballroom.

French Creek Golf Club was an amazing wedding venue! They always had everything under control, and were extremely flexible so that I could have everything I wanted to make my wedding day special. No one had to lift a finger day of - French Creek took care of everything from setting up to tearing down - which let my family and friends relax and enjoy themselves. The ceremony area outside is beautiful, the food is amazing, and the staff is just exceptional - always there when you need them but never in the way. And best of all I was never surprised with extra costs and fees! I just can't say enough about French Creek!

We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding. Kate was very professional and great to work with. We were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony, but it rained at the last minute and Kate was able to flip the room in no time. There were a few glitches (the side we chose for one entree was not correct, my guests never got the programs but probably because of the last minute indoor ceremony). Besides very minor glitches that are bound to happen anyway, it was a perfect day! The inside and outside is beyond beautiful, the open cocktail area was a huge hit, and all of the food is delicious! Highly recommend!!!

Wedding in a beautiful environment

When making the decision where to have our wedding it came down to the “look” since we were getting married on site and let’s just say French Creek accomplished that goal. The locations for photos and the main event had a beautiful backdrop.

This review is long overdue (we are almost 6 months into marriage), but I wanted to make sure to give some recognition to the team at French Creek Golf Club. We worked with Kate Hannon mostly, and Shelby was a great help with last minute details and the day of! This team knows what they're doing, and if you would rather leave many of your wedding details up to professionals, these guys would be able to handle it. If you're like me and want to be involved in every detail, they will accommodate that too. I had a ton of questions leading up to the big day, and Kate was always very helpful. We did not get the opportunity to set up our own decor due to an event happening the night before our wedding, but this was not an issue at all, even for a detail-oriented bride :) Not to mention the venue is BEAUTIFUL!!! As soon as we turned into the drive leading up to the clubhouse, I knew we had to have our wedding at FCGC. The barn was still under construction on our wedding day, but the rest of the beautifully renovated event space was more than enough space for our guests. Our guests really loved the terrace room, and the photo ops with the sycamore tree and pond in the background were very popular. Thank you to Kate and to the entire staff at FCGC - your professionalism and high-quality service made for an amazing wedding day, and some of our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to in a long time.

We had our wedding at French Creek Golf Club on October 17, 2014. French Creek cannot be more beautiful. The grounds are very well maintained with seasonal landscaping, manicured golf greens, and amazing trees in the background. The interior feels warm, comforting, and not overlly stuffy. It feels modern, but still very classic.
Our wedding couldn't have been better! The bridal party stayed separated on different floors of the building, both rooms stocked with snacks and drinks for our entire day. My bridesmaids, myself, and my mom all had our hair and makeup done in the bridal suite at FC- it was comfortable all day. Jackie, and all the staff at FC, were friendly and so helpful. Weeks before the wedding Jackie gave me her personal cell number to contact her, which made me feel very well taken care of. She made me feel like I was her only bride, even though this is a venue that caters to many different weddings and events throughout the year.
If we could do it all over again, we would definitely choose French Creek again. We received many compliments on our venue.

As soon as my husband and I visited French Creek Golf Club, we knew that it would be the perfect venue for our wedding. We were immediately impressed by the outdoor ceremony space, the patio used for cocktail hour, and the ballroom for the reception; each aspect of this venue is unique and absolutely breathtaking. We also loved the new barn and were very happy to have a backup option in case of bad weather. On our wedding day, we had a severe rainstorm and ended up having our ceremony in the barn. While it was a beautiful backdrop, the rain hitting the tin roof of the barn caused such a loud noise that we actually had to stop and pause in the middle of our ceremony while the storm passed. While our wedding day was still a dream come true, it was disappointing that our guests had trouble hearing the most important part of the day, and some even complained that they got wet through the barn roof. Apart from the ceremony, we enjoyed the food and found Kate and Shelby to be very helpful. Overall, we would recommend French Creek Golf Club, but be aware of the barn’s tin roof.

Summer Fairytale

We were married August 2018 and had our reception at French Creek Golf Club. The landscape is absolutely gorgeous with the rolling green hills, blooming flowers in their exquisite garden and the small cottage house, making it the perfect photo backdrop. The service was the best – could not have asked for better coverage of the big day.

French Creek is by far one of the most stunning spots in Chester County. Their recent addition just added to the perfect back drop for an outdoor wedding ceremony. My husband and I got a million compliments on the venue choice and the food. As much as I wish I could give French Creek 5 stars, there were a few things that I think is important to share for other brides. We were a bit disappointed with the new wedding coordinator, as that role was switched over about 8 months before our event. The new coordinator was not very responsive throughout the planning process to the point where I’d have to follow up with another email about my previous email that was never answered. I felt like she tried to be very strict with rules that only caused me more anxiety. For example, she told me she wasn’t sure that I’d be able to bring wine for a traditional part of our ceremony about a week and a half before the day and then finally followed up 2 nights before the ceremony that I was allowed to. During the actual reception, I realized the timeline was off and I found myself telling the waiters and waitresses to bring out the salad, etc. this is something as a bride you should not have to worry about, and if the timeline is off it’s not a huge deal but the coordinator should be right there trying to fix it. Another big inconvenience I ran into was at the end of the night after the reception. My siblings and I were frantically looking for my grandparents valuables that were used during the ceremony. The wedding coordinator had left around 830pm (she told us she would be there till the end and announced in the middle of the reception she was leaving) and things were not placed in a way that made it easy to find. Overall I think French Creek is worth every penny, the food, prices, and amazing scenery is outstanding. When dealing with the wedding coordinator just be prepared to be super organized and specific!

So FCGC was an exceptionally beautiful venue, the location was beyond picturesque. The pictures of the day were beyond measure for the value of the venue. Sharon Hegney was very sweet and easygoing, staff treated us really well. Price point blew anything else away as far as location, setting and taste (food was excellent! ) HOWEVER, there was a few disappointments. The filet plates were supposed to be a combo filet and crabcake and the day of the wedding not a single one was served with a crabcake so essentially half the meal was missing (subbed with greenbeans and mashed which were good but a huge price difference that was glazed over). Our entire event was handed off from Sharon to Chris after the ceremony and there was absolutely NO guidance as far as timing and help with cake cutting, tosses ect..my photographer had to step in AND guide us as no one else was around.we also had am incident where my (the bride) mother and brother were told "no, these are for the wedding party" which I had not one of the passed hors d'oeuvres. I was EXTREMELY displeased about that! ! In all it still was a breathtaking venue, FCGC staff were curteous and the "extras" like the staff set up and breakdown, they even decorated and put together the centerpieces for us , cake, linens all inclusive all made this Venue a beautiful, economic choice that easily made it look high class and more expensive than it actually was!!! LOVED IT!!!!

I loved the venue but....

I fell in love with my venue. The look was exactly what I was going for. The FOOD was amazing. The barn we got married in was stunning. But....the event planner that came with the venue made things complicated. A few things happened that I was not happy with...but the BIGGEST thing that I can't get over is that she ruined my seating plans. I had spent a lot of time placing my loved ones, and when the day came, she did not set enough chairs at each of my tables. Leaving many of my guests with nowhere to sit, she comes and tells them, "there are plenty of seats, go find one". I will never forget looking out from the head table, and seeing that everyone was at the wrong tables. It was still the most beautiful day of my life...but why did I spend WEEKS planning where my loved ones would sit, if she wouldn't even follow the chart she had asked me for.

This venue is amazing, but I want to give fair warning to any bride who picks this place. Keep an eye on the planner and make sure she executes what you want. You can't trust her to make it what you want.
