Cool urban venue, loved the great upstairs deck!!

Very unique and special venue with tons of different unique areas including the foundry, the rooftop deck, and outdoor areas. Your guests will be excited to share pictures with their friends of family.

    Stunning Urban Wedding Space

We got married at the Fremont Foundry early last month and it was beyond our wildest dreams. Leading up to our wedding our venue coordinator Ruby was absolutely incredible. And the combo of her and the day-of team was perfection -- everyone had such amazing energy, made transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception seamless, and were true visionaries with set up and the details. The whole team made us feel so special on our wedding day and we were able to be 100% present while they did all of the behind the scenes work.

The venue is obviously so stunning -- and it's a perfect choice for indoor + outdoor celebrations. We were lucky to be able to use the rooftop for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and we loved having the courtyard space for guests to take a breather from dancing and also enjoy the food truck we brought in!

100% we highly recommend Fremont Foundry!! We are still beaming from our perfect wedding day :)

    Perfect Venue.

We had our September 2023 wedding at the Fremont Foundry and worked with Bre!

Bre made the planning experience stress-free. She was extremely helpful both for the planning beforehand and the day of. We could not have asked for a better coordinator to help us out! Thank you!

The venue itself is spectacular. We had our ceremony and cocktail hour on the rooftop then moved everyone inside for the dinner and reception. We were fortunate enough to have a sunny day and the view is incredible from the rooftop. The guests loved being able to have parts of the day outside and inside. The venue is so beautiful both inside and out.

When booking at the Fremont Foundry, you also have Landmark provide the catering and beverage services. Everyone loved the food and the bar service was spectactular. The bartendars went above and beyond; even making special mocktails for guests who could not drink.

Overall, highly recommend the Fremont Foundry as a venue, Bre as a coordinator/planner and the Landmark as a caterer. We had such a fun time!!!!

    Amazing Venue and Experience!

We couldn't be happier with our choice of the Fremont Foundry as our wedding venue! We loved the flexibility in using each part of the space as needed for our wedding. The catering staff went above and beyond and left everyone raving about the delicious food. Bre and Lauren were so wonderful to work with 1) during planning by effortlessly orchestrating every detail and 2) day-of by making our special day totally stress free. Five stars all around for making our wedding a truly unforgettable experience!

    Highly recommend!

We had an all around positive experience with Fremont Foundry and Landmark Events. Our journey was long - we originally booked the venue when we got engaged in 2019. We postponed our wedding reception from 2020 to 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was chaotic planning a wedding during the pandemic (and we also were planning from the East Coast which further complicated things!) but Jessie and Lindsay did a great job communicating throughout. They gave us excellent recommendations for other vendors (lighting, band, floral, cake). The best part about the entire experience was the staff, most notably Jessie as our day of coordinator. She was absolutely fabulous and went above and beyond to make sure things ran smoothly! The catering and bar staff were also wonderful, we felt very taken care of throughout the event.
    Highly recommend!

    Fantastic Venue and Amazing Management

Planning a wedding can be hard, but planning a wedding and having to reschedule three times during a pandemic is just unfair. Luckily for us, the Fremont Foundry team we worked with was extremely invested in making sure our wedding could take place safely and the way we pictured it. We cannot say enough about how helpful, informative, and understanding the Fremont Foundry team was in planning our wedding, working with our vendors, and continuing to help make planning a wedding as easy as possible. The venue itself is breathtaking and one-of-a-kind, with the capability to accommodate any kind of wedding you want. Initially, we planned to have our wedding on the rooftop, which overlooks Fremont and the water, however, a heat wave came through the week of our wedding and we had to go with plan B, inside. The fact that a "plan B" wedding was inside the venue is laughable now because the inside space is incredibly cool. Besides the unique chandelier in the Atrium, lighting/sculpture work in the side room near the custom artwork, and multiple rooms in the building, there is a dance floor that can light up with lights around the second floor balcony surrounding the Atrium, which really helps turn up the dance part of the evening. If we go could back and have the choice of any space in Seattle we would pick Fremont Foundry 100x over. We cannot wait to hopefully attend another event in the space and cannot thank the staff and management for the best night we could have ever had!

Fremont Foundry by Landmark Event Co.'s reply:

    Hi Andrew,

Thank you so much for the very kind words! We are so happy we were finally able to celebrate with you both. Thank you so much for your flexibility during this time- you were a fantastic couple to work with. We look forward to hosting you back at Fremont Foundry, or another Landmark Event Co. location for future celebrations!

    All the best, and congratulations!

Could not recommend the Foundry enough!

We decided to move forward with our wedding during COVID-19 and could not have done it without the incredible team at the Fremont Foundry. Jessie is absolutely the best and went so above and beyond to make our wedding as stress-free and normal as possible, given the crazy circumstances. She was very compassionate, flexible, and communicative during the entire process. The team at the Foundry handled almost all of the planning, making the experience so much more manageable. I cannot recommend this venue enough; they are the best in the business!

    Amazing venue and staff!

The Fremont Foundry is a stunning venue for any type of event. I have held two company parties here and the staff is amazing! This last event was one of the best ones yet thanks to the staff that handled so many of the details for us and made sure the event was done to perfection. I can't recommend this venue and staff enough!

    LOVE this Venue

Fremont Foundry was straight out of our dreams! After Jessie came on board as the new Venue Coordinator, our experience was smooth and easy. She was amazing and super helpful/patient regarding all the questions we had. We were married on the night of the huge lighting storm and so we had some killer views from the balcony's to watch the show, our guests had way to much fun on the dance floor, and the different rooms and spaces made the flow of the entire evening fun and different! We loved all the different elements that we were able to bring into the foundry and keep hearing from all our friends and family that were there how much they enjoyed the space. Thank you Jessie and the team at FF!

    Wonderful setting and staff

Fremont Foundry Events was a great venue for our wedding. We loved that there were a number of different areas for different elements of the day, and the venue staff were very easy to work with over the course of planning our wedding (which we were doing from across the country).

A dream wedding in under 3 weeks

We hit the jackpot when we were able to secure The Fremont Foundry as our venue for a wedding we had to pull off in just 3 weeks. The staff was incredibly accommodating, professional and super attentive. They have clearly done this a lot, and didn't miss a beat. I felt completely supported through the process including putting together an entirely vegan wedding dinner for us including special entrees for kids with allergies and more. I wish we could do it all over again - the nightmares you hear about wedding planning did not exist for us thanks to the Fremont Foundry staff! Highly, highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a show-stopping event that everyone will be talking about for years.

Great Venue! Received a ton of compliments!

Wow! What a great venue! We viewed five other venues around the greater Seattle area, but nothing compared to Fremont Foundry! Once we were given the walkthrough we knew immediately that we wanted to have our wedding here (we even went a little outside of our original budget because we liked it so much). Elizabeth and Jessie were amazing to work with! They are extremely busy, but were still able to provide us responses in a timely manner and were able to answer all of our questions. Depending on your budget you can opt to rent out separate areas of the venue. For our wedding we definitely wanted to incorporate the rooftop/penthouse for the ceremony and the Atrium (for the reception). We eventually decided we needed to book both suites (one for bartending services/photo booth) and the other for a bridal suite where the wedding party could hang out and keep their belongings. The extra space helps and was well worth it! You'll want to note that you have to book with their preferred list of caterers, lighting companies, and bartending is also through the venue. However, there is a reason why they have these preferred vendors because they're all top notch and provided us with great service! We were really happy with how everything turned out and we received so many compliments from our guests. We recommend just scheduling a meeting or attending an open house there. Then you can see for yourself how nice it is. Thank you Fremont Foundry! Our wedding was perfect! - Reanna & Grant

    Exactly What We Wanted

When my husband and I visited Fremont Foundry we thought nothing else in Seattle even compared. The variety of spaces is what really sold it for us. I wanted the ceremony to be outside but also wanted enough room for 100 people to have dinner indoors. On top of fitting that criteria, Fremont Foundry's space is BEAUTIFUL. You really don't need much to make your pictures amazing and make guests feel totally wowed. AND everyone we worked with at Fremont Foundry was amazing and so helpful when it came to the day of. Couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else. Thank you!

So many spaces, so little need for extra decor

The Foundry and the staff were all excellent! My husband and I could not have been happier with how our wedding turned out. We had a lot of requests and Jessie and the rest of the coordinating team helped us to fit in everything we wanted. From the rooftop ceremony to the late night dance party in the Atrium. Our guests were all super impressed with the venue and with the whole event. The space was perfect for all of the different parts of the event we wanted, and we loved that we didn't feel the need to do a ton of decorating. The venue really pops with just some minor lighting and decor to add a small personal touch.

Wow, did we hit the jackpot with Fremont Foundry. With a wedding in October, we knew that weather could be an issue, so we were looking for a place that could be entirely indoors, but could fit our crowd of 115 easily without feeling crammed. The Foundry was the perfect spot for us. The rooms transitioned well from each section of the wedding, and the space is simple, yet so unique in its own way. It didn't take much to decorate it because it was already such a cool space! But the best thing about the Foundry was the staff. We worked really closely with Jess and we are so grateful for her help, patience, and support throughout our year of planning. She was always responsive, and worked with us to ensure things remained within our budget while still having the perfect day. We can't recommend the Fremont Foundry enough. It is beautiful, unique, and the perfect wedding venue from start to finish.

The Fremont Foundry was everything we wanted in a venue and more! It was beautiful and unique that made it different than every other Seattle wedding setting. The roof top was amazing for our cocktail hour and the inside provided a beautiful dinner and dancing setting. The Fremont Foundry were easy to work with and provided several events and open houses so we knew exactly want we wanted. They worked hand in hand with our coordinator and provided a great bar service that was also a great value. We couldn't have imagined having our reception any where else in Seattle! Thank you Fremont Foundry for the perfect wedding reception!

Seriously a great venue. We had our ceremony outside and reception inside, for roughly 70 guests. The space is sooo pretty, it didn't require much decoration :) We worked with Dani and she was fantastic. Fun and easy to work with!! You also get a lot of included services for your money, so it was wonderful.

    Great industrial venue

My husband and I had our wedding here in mid-October. We had some bumps along the way with a change in management and with who we communicated with, but Megan stepped in and really supported us with this change. After realizing that we would no longer be able to use a room we had rented, Megan ensured that we got our money back and allowed us to use additional parts of the venue. She was present and very helpful on the wedding day, and everything went off without a hitch. The bar staff was also great the day of, and our guests were taken care of. Our guests raved about the venue - we kept hearing how beautiful everything was and how much they enjoyed each space. We would work with Feemont Foundry Events and Megan again!

    Beautiful Dream Venue

We had our 140-person wedding at the Fremont Foundry (ceremony upstairs on the roof, reception on the ground floor inside) and it was honestly a dream. The venue staff was a pleasure to work with and always responsive, plus we used their bar services and got multiple compliments on how great the bartenders were. This venue is so beautiful that we hardly decorated at all and still feel like the pictures look great. The biggest selling point for us was the light-up dance floor with a pit underneath - gave the dance party an extra kick! The chandelier, murals, and furniture made every room feel special. The lamps in the penthouse are made of particle accelerator parts! This venue was an absolute dream. Only downside is that the elevator doesn't go all the way up to the roof and has to be unlocked by an attendant at every use - so the roof is tough to access for disabled or elderly guests. Other than that literally everything was incredibly great!

    An Awesome Venue!!!

We had the absolute best time at the Fremont Foundry!!! It’s an absolutely amazing venue for throwing a party – so many of our friends had been there before and our high expectations were exceeded! One of the most important things for us was finding a venue “that had a space for everyone” and that’s EXACTLY what the Foundry provides.

You wanna dance? It’s an AWESOME dance floor.
Need a breather? Check out the courtyard or the rooftop.
Want to be involved but just watch? There are various side-rooms and balconies to check out the action.

Of course, another huge pro is that catering is provided in-house, so it made that part of the process so much easier. We also used their list of recommended vendors, all of whom are familiar with the space, and it made set-up on the day of the event an absolute breeze.

We do need to respectfully acknowledge that communication with the venue was… a little suspect at times. They experienced a lot of turnover over the past year (as well as some pricing changes), and while we were ultimately very happy with our experience, we hope they can get back to some consistency so that all couples and events get a smooth experience! (A special shoutout to Brittany who stepped in for our last month and really brought things home for us, thanks friend!!)

Overall, we are so glad that we picked the Foundry and we hope you consider them for your event!!

    Great venue

Overall, we were really happy with the Fremont Foundry as our venue - it's a beautiful space and it ended up being everything we hoped. That said, there were some hiccups in the planning process and a couple details that we wish we'd considered more before we booked them.
    Pros:
    - Huge venue with lots of different areas to separate out portions of the night, no one room felt too big, and the built in bars and dance floor were great
    - Really convenient to have so many things coordinated through the venue (catering, rentals, etc)
    - A rare venue in Seattle that allows for a late night dance party (past 10pm)
    - Food was delicious and drinks were really good with lots of different options

    Cons:
    - Not very ADA friendly. There is a service elevator that guests can take up to the second floor, but that still leaves an unavoidable set of stairs up to the roof
    - There's a bar next door that has outdoor events most Fridays and Saturdays in the summer and it is very loud! Our venue coordinator did work with LTD to make sure they shut off their music during our ceremony which was hugely appreciated, but it was definitely noticeable during cocktail hour and dinner. Not a huge deal as we knew it was going to happen and our DJ did a great job mitigating the noise, but something to be aware of
    - Our venue coordinator changed 3 times, twice within 3 months of our wedding. Our initial coordinator was really hard to communicate with and was constantly forgetting details we'd gone over with him. If we hadn't hired a wedding planner, we would have been in a really bad place both with him and with all of the staff transitions. However, our final coordinator Keisha was great and we did ultimately feel like we were in good hands, so in the end it all worked out.

Venue coordinator was great to work with

Megan, our venue coordinator, was very helpful the day of the event . She answered any questions and was quick to act if we needed something. It was very nice to have her on-site during the event in case something came up. The venue was beautiful and our guests had a great time. Overall, the Foundry was a great venue and we hope to work with you all again. Thanks!

Great Venue, Less-than-great Experience with Staff

TL;DR: The venue is gorgeous and the food was perfect, but communication issues, lack of transparency, and personality differences with our coordinator made our experience less than ideal.

This review has been a difficult one to write -- there were so many things we loved about the Fremont Foundry. However, there were also some things about our experience working with Landmark Events and our specific coordinator that made our planning process, and our wedding day, more difficult than they needed to be. I’m providing specific details and names here not because I want to publicly call out or shame anyone, but because I genuinely believe that our experience was specific to the staff that we worked with, and experiences with other members of the Landmark team may not be the same.

    The Good

First and foremost, we absolutely LOVED the venue itself! The Foundry is such an amazing space with multiple floors and several options for creating an event flow that utilizes the entire venue. We held our ceremony and cocktail on their beautiful rooftop that overlooks the Fremont Cut and Seattle skyline, and then moved downstairs into the main venue space for our reception and dancing. So many of our guests commented that they loved our venue and the setup of our event (we loved it, too)!

The food and drinks were incredible. Herban Feast is the in-house caterer for Landmark Events and they provide an extensive menu with tons of great options that can accommodate basically any dietary preferences. We went with an entirely vegetarian meal at our wedding, and even some of our carnivorous guests said that it was the best wedding meal they’d ever had! I also want to take a moment to commend the bar and service staff, especially Felix who was the lead bartender for our event. They were great at making sure that we always had drinks in our hands and that our guests were consistently taken care of.

    The Bad

Even though the food at our event ended up being great, and we absolutely loved the physical space, it was a bit of a process to get there. Landmark includes one tasting with your booking about two months before the event. It’s important to know that you are NOT able to choose the menu for your tasting, which meant that I (as a vegetarian) was unable to actually try most of the food at our tasting. We ended up booking a second/private tasting where we could choose the menu at an upcharge. There was also a bit of an issue with ADA accessibility. The venue has an elevator that goes up to the second floor, but it doesn’t go to the rooftop, and the staircases were a bit difficult for some of our guests with mobility issues to navigate.

Speaking of upcharges, about two weeks before our wedding at our final meeting with the venue, we were told about several additional fees that we were previously unaware of. They didn’t listen to us when we told them we were bringing in our own desserts, and two weeks before our wedding told us we needed to have additional staff because of that. They also didn’t capture that we wanted an open bar (even though it was communicated in our first meeting). This led to our final payments being higher than we anticipated. Separately, the venue charges thousands of dollars in “service fees” as a percentage on top of line-item charges for food/drink/labor/rental costs, and our venue representatives were unable to explain where the additional service fees were going. All of this combined to make us feel as though we were being nickel-and-dimed when we were too close to our wedding to consider alternative actions.

Part of the issue here is that our venue representative, Lauren L, was incredibly hard to communicate with. There were several instances of emails going unanswered for weeks, and when we did get a response we often did not get answers to all of our questions. We also never managed to get her phone number, or any contact number for the Foundry, which complicated communication even further.

    The Ugly

One of the clearest instances of failed communication (bordering on deliberate negligence) was the lack of disclosure about Fremont Fridays, a summer concert series hosted by a nearby business in the parking lot adjacent to the venue. The main stage for Fremont Fridays is across an alley from the garage door of the Foundry’s dining room, so on concert days, there’s competing amplified sound starting around 5:00pm. Our event was always planned for a Friday, but we weren’t notified about Fremont Fridays until our first planning meeting AFTER signing the venue contract. During that meeting, our coordinator indicated that there had been discussions between Landmark and the business hosting Fremont Fridays since last year, which indicated that Landmark obviously knew about the potential disruption before we signed our contract. Landmark representatives told us how disruptive Fremont Fridays were, and that the deejays can try to mitigate but there’s not much they can do about the noise/disruption. Luckily, we were able to communicate with the neighboring business on our own to ensure that their concert would not interfere with our wedding, but this feels like something that Foundry representatives should be MUCH more transparent about before allowing contracts for Friday weddings to be signed.

We also ran into some issues scheduling our rehearsal. In the contract, it is stated that couples are able to schedule a rehearsal 30 days prior to their event. When we reached out to our coordinator at 30 days, she was unable to provide us with any options for scheduling. Later, we were able to find a time but had to move it at the last minute because our coordinator scheduled a meeting with a different couple at the same time. Had there been more consistent communication leading up to our event, we might have been able to avoid some of these scheduling issues.

Another time where lack of communication impacted our event was during day-of setup. In our final planning meeting, and in a series of emails, we sent our coordinator Lauren detailed plans related to décor. I had DIY-ed a TON of decorations for our wedding and was very excited about having all of them around our space. However, on the day of our wedding, Lauren did not set up most of the décor we brought. It was only after my mom asked about some missing items that we found over half of our prepared decorations in a back-room closet, at which point Lauren indicated she was not planning to use them. We ended up setting up a lot of them ourselves and with the generous assistance of our florist.

At the end of the night, the venue staff also threw away a TON of the decorations that we hoped to keep. The second our music shut off, staff was going through the venue to tear down, despite us being told that we would have a few minutes to collect our items. The venue threw away candlesticks that belonged to our grandmother and mother, as well as a ton of other less-sentimental but still valuable pieces of our décor.

The final note in the “ugly” category is related to our interactions with Lauren leading up to and on the day of our wedding. Despite being our day-of coordinator and therefore the person that we expected to quell chaos, she ended up being a source of frustration. In addition to the communication and décor issues I described above, there were several times throughout the day where she impacted the flow of our event. For example, she told me I didn’t have time use the restroom before our first look, and she told my mother and brother that they needed to move while they were watching my husband’s first dance with his mom (my family wasn’t blocking any safety/egress paths). These weren’t the only incidents but are representative of her general attitude. Perhaps I have an unrealistic expectation of the disposition of a day-of-coordinator, but I truly believe that someone would have a more positive experience at the Fremont Foundry if they were working with another member of their staff.

    It's Complicated

My experience with Landmark, their venue (The Fremont Foundry), and their in-house caterer, Herban Feast, was complicated.

Fun Fact: they hid my review on Google. Super cute.

    Touring & Booking
When we toured the venue, it was with a man and a venue manager-in-training named Lisa. The man was fine, but he was pretty dismissive when we asked about street parking for guests. There’s a U-Park lot next door, so we asked if Landmark had ever coordinated with them for weddings. He confidently said they work with that lot “all the time” and could easily connect us. That mattered to us.

Lisa, on the other hand, was wonderful. She gave extra tours for my parents, answered a ton of questions, and handled a long back-and-forth. However, I didn’t appreciate the classic “someone else is looking at your date” pressure tactic. It just stressed us out and wasn’t relevant to why our decision was taking time.

We eventually signed. Yay! And then… radio silence. I expected some quiet because we booked more than a year in advance and there wasn’t much to plan venue-wise that far out. Still, it felt odd.

    Planning Phase: EC Turnover Fiesta
Six months out, we were finally introduced to our event coordinator, Thaddeus. He sent us a lengthy questionnaire, which I filled out. Then, in our meeting, he proceeded to ask me every single question from that questionnaire—as if he hadn’t read it. The entire meeting was spent going over the same information. Annoying, but at least everything was covered thoroughly. Later, a friend told me we should have selected our linens at that meeting… but Thaddeus never brought it up. Then the silence started again.

This time it felt worse, but I figured: okay, they’re the professionals. Three months out, someone completely new reaches out. Turns out Thaddeus was no longer with the company… and didn’t leave any notes on my wedding. We booked a meeting with this new coordinator, but on the day of the meeting I got an email saying they’d been hospitalized and couldn’t make it?!?

Enter EC #3: Hailey Boop — and I cannot say enough good things about this girl. She came in READY to fix things. My wedding was less than three months away and the venue apparently had no notes, but Hailey responded quickly, made me feel prioritized, and handled every change I threw at her. She genuinely saved my planning experience.

    The Extra Hour Debacle
Originally, Thaddeus had offered us an extra hour at the start of our event for free to make up for the fact that Landmark actually did not have any relationship with the U-Park next door (meaning we were left scrambling for guest parking). Unfortunately, he only said this in person and left zero documentation. We had already printed invitations with an earlier start time… only for the venue to tell us they planned to charge us for that hour. Hailey went to bat for us and got it reinstated.

    The Wedding Day
Our wedding day itself went very well. I was nervous, but the venue delivered and the food was surprisingly good. I credit this to Hailey and my personal day-of coordinator.

    Warnings for Future Couples
    Noise:
There’s a concert venue that shares an alley with the Foundry. The alley is right beside the dinner room. During speeches, the concert noise was very noticeable.

    No AC:
The Foundry does not have air conditioning. If you’re getting married in August, don’t let anyone tell you “it cools off at night.” It doesn’t.

    Tastings:
When you book a Landmark venue, you’re required to use Herban Feast. They offer group tastings (pre-set menu, free, after you sign the contract) or private tastings (around $60 per person at the time). I never ended up doing a tasting, which still feels strange.

Overall: I’m thrilled the wedding day itself was beautiful, and I genuinely credit Hailey for pulling it together. This would have been a 1 star review from all the stress if it wasn't for her. But the planning process was rough. I can’t help but worry that if I’d ended up with anyone other than Hailey, we would’ve been nickel-and-dimed and left even more stressed.

    Frustrating & Disappointing

We booked the Fremont Foundry through Landmark Events for its beautiful, industrial aesthetic—but unfortunately, the planning and execution fell far short of expectations.

Over the course of planning, our venue contact changed four times, and each transition brought more confusion and miscommunication. Details were constantly lost, policies changed without notice, and we often found ourselves educating the staff on what was written on their own website or contract.

Just weeks from our wedding, our venue contact had changed once again, and we had to start from scratch with communicating all of the details to this new staff. In one virtual meeting, he and our previous contact both approved some of our specified requests that we made sure to note because of our familiarity with other venue requirements and their contract policies. Then, when meeting in person, this person went back on his word, acted confused about who approved these two requests, and had to "circle back" with his team to ensure the requests could still be accommodated. Ultimately, they rejected one of the requests and we had to communicate with other vendors about the change in plans.

Later, we sent Landmark a planning document formatted to the likes of their BEO for their ease of reference. Despite this, Landmark continued to send us BEOs with incorrect information and charges. We were supposed to receive a finalized BEO and payment a month prior to our wedding day. Instead, we were sent these things the night before our wedding, when we were told to pay the balance or risk cancellation of our wedding that we had been planning a whole year in advance. We had to leave a dinner early to try and resolve it, only to find the same errors again. Instead of enjoying the evening with family who had flown in, we sat at home stressed about all the uncorrected mistakes.

Then the day of the wedding arrives. We try our best to put a smile, push the worries aside, and enjoy the day. Unfortunately, the mistakes from their planning leaked into the execution. The aisle and seats were incorrectly arranged, which led to the florist incorrectly placing her own decor, so we had to very quickly rearrange the space before guests arrived. Minutes before dinner, our guests were approached about their individual allergies even though Landmark had already received a list of allergies a month in advance. Thankfully, we had carefully picked our menu so we could avoid the allergies we knew about. Had we not, I'm not sure if those guests would have eaten anything as Landmark prepares the food off site and simply brings the meals to the venue in warmers. There were other pain points as well: guests feeling like they needed to hunt down staff for tray-passed apps, us needing to walk to storage ourselves to request our dessert and cake be set out, half of our guests finishing their dinner before the last two tables could even have theirs served, and the venue's point of contact missing for the last half of the night with no communication to us who would be taking over his duties.

Keep in mind, this was a not a large wedding. We had 60 guests. And somehow, Landmark Events added far more stress than support. We would not recommend them for any special event.

Do not give this company your hard earned money!

Landmark Events’ Fremont Foundry hosted our wedding on September 27, 2025. While the wedding day itself was beautiful, the planning experience leading up to it was the worst service experience I have ever had.
I will be naming names in this review, not to be inflammatory, but to be precise. Accountability matters, and future couples deserve transparency about where failures occurred, as well as where credit is due.
I’m a Seattle native now living in Brooklyn. Nearly 90% of our guests traveled internationally, so organization and communication were critical. Unfortunately, the months leading up to the wedding were marked by constant staff turnover, lost information, poor communication, and a complete lack of ownership.
We booked in April 2024. At the time of booking, a pre-approved cultural concession was granted allowing us to bring in a Nigerian caterer, in addition to Landmark’s catering. This was approved before our deposit was placed.
Planning began six months out in March 2025. Our original contact, Lisa, had left the company without notice. No one reached out to introduce a new coordinator, and I had to email Landmark’s general inbox to find out who we were working with.
    Coordinator #1: Joao, with Lauren.
In our first meeting in May, Joao questioned the already approved catering concession and said outside catering was not allowed. This caused immediate stress and required escalation to resolve, despite Landmark ultimately confirming the approval. Throughout the process, Joao repeatedly failed to review our planning questionnaire, asked redundant questions, mishandled scheduling, including failing to book our tasting for weeks without telling us, and then went unresponsive. We later learned, after weeks of silence, that he was on medical leave. No handoff occurred, and no information was transferred.
    Coordinator #2: Keisha, with Aja.
We were reassigned just three months before the wedding. Keisha stated this was her first wedding ever, and it became immediately clear that none of our prior planning details had been transferred. We were asked to start over entirely, including re explaining the catering concession again. At this point, it was evident Landmark has no continuity, documentation standards, or internal process.
We escalated to Bret, COO, who was professional, empathetic, and helpful. He attended meetings and offered concessions, but by then the damage was done. We declined Landmark’s in house coordination altogether due to lack of trust.
Coordinator #3: Tressa , assigned just seven weeks before the wedding after Keisha took vacation during our wedding weekend. At that point, pulling our deposit was no longer an option. Thankfully, Tressa was excellent, organized, responsive, and competent. She worked seamlessly with our independently hired coordinator, Jojo , who truly saved our planning experience and is the sole reason the day went smoothly.
Landmark charges premium prices while delivering fragmented, careless service. Staff are shuffled, information is lost, and couples are left to manage issues they are paying others to handle. A beautiful venue means nothing without competent execution.
I would not book another Landmark property, would not recommend one to a friend, and would strongly encourage couples to look elsewhere if they value professionalism, organization, and peace of mind.
Do not book Fremont Foundry, or any Landmark Events venue.
