Great Tasting Cakes

We selected our design through their website two weeks prior the wedding and they delived straight to the wedding reception venue. They offer cake tasting option so you can select the flavor of your choice. We did two tiers with marble and strawberry flavor. Both tasted really good, not too sweet. Their design are classic and theres so many to choose from.

Fantastic cake

Freed's was suggested to us by our venue coordinator and I'm so glad they were. Coming from out of town and having no ability to do a taste test in advance was concerning because everyone knows that some wedding cakes just aren't that great. We opted for a custom cake, two layers, two different flavor profiles and we did all of that via email and without an exact photo replica of what we wanted and it turned out perfect! The cake was moist, delicious, looked amazing and showed up where we needed it to be on time! Everyone enjoyed it and it was great a couple days later when we could relax and sit back and enjoy it on a non-wedding day.

Dream achievers

I had many ideas in mind for our wedding cake, but our venue had certain cakes that were included, and we would have have to pay full for anything not really included, but when I got to speak with them one on one, we found a cake design that was so beautiful in person, that we didn't want to cut it! We appreciate all the communication, and considerations you made for us, we are still eating our top tier weeks later!

Best wedding cake I've ever tasted!

We had our wedding at the Hilton Lake Las Vegas and our wedding cake from Freed's bakery was included with our package. The lady who helped us deciding on our cake was lovely and the cakes that we tested were all delicious. The one that we ended up selecting was honestly the BEST wedding cake I've ever tested. And I'm an extremely picky person with high expectations. Everyone kept telling me during the reception how amazing it tasted. I highly recommend this bakery and I will definitely buy from them again.

Best Cake Ever

Freed's actually catered a cake for my family before and it was amazing. They were so nice to work with and even let me bring extra people besides my fiance to the cake tasting. It was great to be able to pick out flavors and they even made me a blueberry filling which wasn't on their menu so I could have my favorite lemon blueberry cake.

We hired Freed's through my wedding planner, Leah of Dare to Dream Events and very glad we did. I showed Freed's multiple pictures of how I wanted our cake to look like and they were able to create it. I had no cake left at the end of the night ! Feeds also was very accommodating with the drop off time which was a concern but they took care of everything perfectly

Amazing tasting Cake

Freed's was recommended by our venue. The cake was delicious and moist. All of our guest complimented the cake. Not just the flavor but the design as well. I can't wait to eat the top layer in a year. Our cake cost was included in venue's price but they were very reasonable and worked with the style I liked to incorporate it into what the venue had listed as "approved" cakes.

Delicious!

We had a small wedding in Las Vegas and wanted a cake that was affordable and would be enough for our guests. We ended up going with a round wedding cake (cream & strawberry filling) and a tres leches sheet cake. They delivered promptly to our reception site. The cake was BEAUTIFUL and tasted even better!! We ended up with quite a bit left over but were not disappointed we got to eat it the following days. All of our guests loved the cake and we were so happy with our experience. If we ever need a cake when we are in Vegas we will for sure choose Freed's!

Exceptional cake and service as always!

If you live in Vegas, you know Freed's is the only place to go for an out-of-this-world cake! I made an appointment at Freed's, where they sat down with me and my family for an hour and a half, and let us taste-test every combination of cake and frosting until we were blue in the face! They were able to make a new flavor of frosting for us to perfectly match my ideal wedding cake: lemon buttercream with a lemon puree, and it was delicious! Multiple people told me it was the best wedding cake they had ever had, and considering they offered this information without me asking, I'd have to say it's true!! The service was remarkable, the cake was mouth-watering, and the delivery was easy and prompt on our big day. If you want the best wedding cake you can get, go to Freed's!!

We took the recommendation from our wedding venue (Wedgewood at Stallion Mountain) to use Freed's Bakery for our wedding cake.
Freed's was a pleasure to work with! They were quick to respond to emails and questions and were very friendly. They provided us with a package of cake examples and were willing to customize to our preferences.
I sent a picture of a cake that I wanted them to re-create and we were so happy with the end result! We chose a different flavour for each layer of the cake - White cake with Bavarian Crème & Strawberry Puree, Chocolate cake with Chocolate Mousse, and Almond cake with Amaretto Mousse. Everyone had positive things to say about each layer.
We definitely recommend using Freed's for your next event!

Great experience. Went in & sat down with a consultant. Told her what we wanted. Tasted several cakes. Picked the style, cake, frosting & filling. Scheduled pick up & away we went! Great tasting cake. I would recommend.

Got the Persian chocolate cake for our wedding. It was DELICIOUS!! They offer taste testing too. Highly recommend. Worked with our florist to add florals on the cakes as well. It looked FABULOUS! Thank you Freed's bakery!

We usually hear horror stories about wedding cakes but we had nothing to worry about with Freed's Bakery! Our venue was Wedgewood Las Vegas and Freed's is their preferred cake vendor. We chose a simple three-tiered wedding cake with a simple buttercream design and topped it off with our cake topper at the venue. The cake was SOOOO fluffy and delicious! I have guests texting me after the wedding to request what kind of cake we got! For the record, we chose the Marble Cake with Mocha Mousse and Buttercream for the outside. It tasted like Tiramisu! The cake had the right amount of texture and sweetness without going overboard. The cake arrived timely and in beautiful shape. Thank you so much Freed's Bakery!

Freed's Bakery created the cake for our February 25, 2017 wedding and we were extremely pleased with our cake. We live in Colorado and got married in Las Vegas so all of the planning was done over email. They were great! Very responsive and designed a beautiful, yummy cake that exceeded our expectations!

We planned a Vegas wedding from Colorado and when we contacted Freed's they were very helpful. The day of the wedding (11/25/16) they were right on time, quickly set up the cupcake tower with a small cake on top, and left. The price was great and the cupcakes were DELICIOUS! Everyone was ranting and raving about the unique mix of flavors we had. I highly recommend Freed's to others.

The whole cake got eaten!!! Need I say more? The bride & groom chose to not save the top instead they are going to order a mini version at year one. Cake was promptly delivered to our venue. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! We went with Bride on a budget...but upgraded to a different flavor in each layer of the 10-8-6. Best cake i ever tasted...we also did the cske tasting for the whole Bridal experience. I highly recommend Freeds. Worth every penny!

Going in, we had only a vague idea of what we wanted to fit our wedding theme and they were super helpful with getting the idea down on paper and then turning it into a reality. The sampler plate they gave us helped us to discover an amazing flavor combination we never would have thought of that everybody raved about. Could not be happier with Freed's and absolutely would recommend to everyone.

Recently had a destination wedding in Vegas and the cake was included in our package. However, I decided to get a grooms cake and Janie from the bakery exceeded any expectation I had. We went through Freed's bakery for our wedding cake. They did an amazing job listening to what we wanted and delivering it! During out wedding cake tasting, the employees were so sweet. They let us try every option, gave us suggestions and was very patient with us as we made our choices. The cake was delicious! The fondant is one of the best I've ever had. They did a simple decoration with a ribbon at the bottom, which was elegant and sleek. We loved going through you guys! Thank you so much for your incredible service.

Kenia was absolutely awesome to work with!! We were planning a wedding from Australia, and she was wonderful about emailing me back and answering all of my silly questions. I was able to do a tasting with one of my best friends while on a whirlwind trip through Vegas and the decisions on what cupcake flavors, toppings, and small wedding cake we wanted was incredibly easy. After choosing everything we wanted I went through their website just to make sure I choose exactly what we wanted. I found a cupcake they offered but I wasn't able to taste, so just 10 days before our wedding my mom and I went in for a quick tasting of one particular cupcake and changed our order just slightly. It was no problem at all, and we got exactly what we hoped for! Everything tasted amazing and all of our guests complimented our dessert choices!! We were very happy with Freed's Bakery and Kenia was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process!

My cake was perfect! Freed's is the usual cake vendor for our reception venue to the process was very easy. Ordered the cake online and a few chocolate covered strawberries to go around. Perfect flavors, I highly recommend!!!

I admit, I was completely impressed with our wedding cake! Our cake was included with our wedding package so it really could have gone either way. Sure, I did a tasting a few months in advance to choose what I wanted but I don't think I realized how incredible the whole cake would be. It was not only gorgeous - it was quite possibly the best wedding cake I've ever tasted, and our guests raved about it too! Our cake was two-tiered with whipped buttercream frosting, Bavarian cream and raspberry filling, and had our wedding flowers cascading from the top to the bottom of the cake. Truly spectacular!

The cake Freed's made was amazing. It tasted great and all the guests loved it. It was beautiful. The only down fall was that we had a flower that fell off before I was even able to see the cake. I am not sure how this could of been avoided, but the cake was very soft and the flower must of not been attached well.

Freed’s Bakery was included in our wedding package at The Platinum Hotel. The cake was so delicious and moist and everyone complimented how tasty it was. It was easy to communicate with Max throughout the entire process. I had so many questions and he answered everything. We were even in town for a day and we went to do a cake tasting which was so great to be able to do. We also added a groom’s cake to our order. It was a jersey cake for an Australian Footy team. It came out perfectly! All of the Aussie guests loved the surprise. Thank you for being so easy to work with!

They're cake came with the packaged deal with Platinum Hotel and they were really easy to work with and open to any ideas you had! The cake was delicious and my husband and I were satisfied with how pretty the decorations on the cake looked! We got the glamour style, super cute!

Included in my wedding package with The Platinum Hotel & it was perfect! The service when we walked in the door was excellent. We had a cake tasting, picked everything out, gave them the date and time, and they delivered an absolutely beautiful & delicious cake!

Freed's was great, even people on Facebook, who just saw pictures of my cake were impressed, and many at my wedding said it was the best cake they had ever seen.

They have budget cakes for brides, which is nice, and they will even make any cake you like on their site, smaller, so it fits your budget, and they will make any adjustments to a preexisting cake picture, at your request. Plus, it was delicious!!

Our venue contracts with them solely. Cake testing was fun and delicious. Show room is small but lots of cake options. Our cake topper ended up being too heavy for the buttercream frosting, but they fixed it- and it looked and TASTED great!

Janie was exceptional. I live in Texas. I got Married on Aug 2nd. I called Janie around July 10. With a few phone calls and emails, she was able to give me everything that I wanted with my budget with delivery. Freed's went well beyond my expectations.

Fantastic! I am a Wedding Planner and I was hired to help with a wedding in Vegas! I found Freed's Bakery and they were GREAT! Freed's made our cake and cupcake tower for our wedding and it looked and tasted amazing!! They were so easy to order from and everything was deliver on top and looked fantastic!! We also ordered trays of italian cookies from them for our wedding guests and we got a lot of great reviews from everyone in attendance!

I hate to say that I didn't really get to eat much of my cake. I tasted a little during the cake cutting and it was delicious. This was the preferred vendor included in my venue contract. We did a taste testing and everything was delicious. The cake was beautiful and matched my decor to the tee. I wish I had a chance to get even one slice of my cake but my guests raved about it.

The cake we purchased from Freed's was absolutely beautiful! They used fresh orchids and a wonderful sparkly ivory fondant that even tasted good!

We went in for our cake tasting and our consultant was so accommodating and patient. We had no idea what we wanted and she did everything she could to help us.

Not only are their cakes always beautiful, but they also taste so DELICIOUS! My father-in-law even asked us to bring him some more the day after the wedding! I've never heard of people actually asking for seconds of a wedding cake lol

They were affordable and beautiful and delicious. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Freeds bakery did a great job with our wedding cake. We went through Wedgewood Las Vegas and they recomended Freed's. The cake was delicious! I got a Vegas style cake for my husband as well and both were very beautiful!!

WOW! What a beautiful, delicious cake. Everyone was blown away.
Freed's was wonderful to work with. The tasting was fun. We couldn't decide on one flavor, so each tier was different. They were all excellent! (we know this because the catering staff made sure my husband and I had a bit of each flavor). I cannot say enough good things about the cake and the entire ordering/delivery/setup process.
The cake from Freed's was part of our overall package at Wedgewood, so I can't provide an exact amount spent.

We got married in Las Vegas on 6th April 2015 and bought a 3 tier Las Vegas themed cake from Freed's bakery, who were a preferred vendor of our reception venue, Maggiano's.

I’m not usually one for writing reviews, but I relied heavily on other people's comments on review sites and forums during the planning stage back in the UK and they really helped me, so I hope that this helps others in the future!

Honestly the best cake I've ever tasted! We had chocolate cake & chocolate buttercream filling with chocolate buttercream icing for the bottom layer, Red velvet cake with buttercream filling and icing for the middle tier, then White cake with raspberry buttercream and buttercream icing.

I couldn't decide which was best!

I planned by wedding from in Canada and only had reviews to go on when we decided to go with Freed's. We did all the ordering from either over the phone or via email. Everything went smoothly and the cake was delivered on time without any issues. When it came to the actual cake, we went with a cupcake tower wedding cake, it tasted amazing and was fresh and moist. The thing I liked about it was that we had 3 different flavours of cupcakes and then the top 2 tier's on the cake was a marble cake with a chocolate cream. It tasted so amazing that I am still craving that cake. I highly recommend this company and their pricing is perfect, whether you are on a budget or not.

We were introduced to Freed's bakery when we moved to Las Vegas. Since then, we have used them for birthday cakes and weekend treats. We also decided to use them as our Wedding Cake vendor. Freeds Bakery was great. The wedding venue I chose (Wedgewood) suggested Freeds Bakery as a go-to vendor. It was a great choice to pick them to create our wedding cake. It was beautiful and exactly what I had hoped. I received many comments from our guests that the cake was delicious. Also, I wanted to keep the top tier, they made sure the bottom tiers would be enough cake for all of our guests.

We couldn't speak more highly of Freed's!!! From our initial appointment through the wedding day, the service was impeccable!!!! Cake tasting went so well and we were treated so great, it's one of our favorite wedding-planning memories. Elia was our consultant and she was so helpful and so sweet!! The cake came out beautifully and tasted amazing!!! Our guests were taking pictures of the cake and loved the cake!! I teared up when a few guests text me pics of the cake while my husband and I were taking our wedding pictures between the ceremony and reception. We couldn't have been happier working with them. If we were Las Vegas locals, we would be using them for birthdays and any event that would need a cake. If I could give them more stars, I would!

We ordered our wedding cake along with cookies for our cookie bar from Freed's, and we were not disappointed! We were unable to do a tasting because we live out of state, so we put our trust in other positive reviews. Our cake was lemon flavored with Bavarian cream filling and buttercream frosting, it was delicious! Our guests loved it. Our cookies were hit, everyone enjoyed them.

Freed's sells cookies based on weight, and because I asked for a specific number of cookies rather than a specific weight of cookies, we had to estimate the cost beforehand. Janie contacted me afterward to notify me that she would refund us the difference because our cookies ended up being less expensive than anticipated. Great customer service, great baked goods!

I saw the vendor details, and ordered a marvellous cake without tasting it. We wanted something light to taste so we let the vendor know our favourite flavours and ordered a smaller version to take back to London with us. If you like cake go to Freeds in Las Vegas.

I booked Freed's Bakery about 2 weeks before my wedding day. I have gotten their cupcakes before and they were a big hit at the office. The wedding cake did not disappoint! We ordered a two tiered basic wedding cake with 4 or 5 dozen of their signature cupcakes, all within our limited budget. The cakes were delicious, affordable, and a big hit with our guests. The customer service in the cake ordering department and on the day of pick up was outstanding!

I was very happy with my wedding cake from Freed's. When I went in for the tasting they were very attentive and really seemed to care about making the best possible cake for our wedding. The end result was very beautiful and tasted delicious!! I can't comment on the price because it was included in the cost of my reception at the JW Marriott Las Vegas. Freed's was a delight to work with for our wedding cupcake cake. My biggest fear was having bad food and cake at our wedding since it was a destination wedding and we did not get to do a taste test prior but Freed's came through. I worked with Janie and she answered all of my questions and was able to design the cake that I wanted from far away. Only 3 emails and the cake of my dreams was realized. The cake and cupcakes turned out delicious. They were all moist and fresh.

Love love loved my wedding cake! The wedding cake was initially part of a vendor package deal I had purchased from my wedding vendor. I was absolutely relieved when I discovered Freed's was the bakery that was going to provide my cake. They are rightfully notorious for their delicious cakes and pastries. My wedding cake turned out to be absolutely gorgeous. This was, perhaps, one of the few things my husband actually actively, and willingly, participated during the whole planning process. Their options are massive. Their wedding cake receptionist were incredibly pleasant to work with. My final cake had an off, not quite pale, not quite dull, and not quite pearl blush color to match my overall scheme. I was worried the swatch I provided was going to be too dull. The final colors of the color matched exactly what my husband had envisioned. Also, the cake itself was absolutely delicious! It was probably the only thing I had a bite of the whole evening!

We ordered our Wedding Cake at Freed's Bakery and absolutely loved it! Not only did the cake taste delicious but they captured the look I was going for. The details were spot on and perfect in everyway! I also had them make the Grooms Cake which was super fun and my husband almost fell over when he saw it! Freed's Bakery is THE spot for wedding cakes and pasteries. Our venue already contracted with Freed's Bakery. We just had to pick out the cake we wanted. The cakes that came included with our venue package were small and quaint, while we wanted some glamor. So we upgraded. The day before the wedding Freed's called asking for payment for the upgrade, which was so many dollars per person. They were claiming the cake was made for 40 people but were charging for 50 people. After some argument, I realized the mistake was with the venue. Although we only had 40 guests, the venue was charging us for 50 people (per the unfair minimum the venue requires). The venue relayed that same thing. It was all sorted out with Freed's and since the venue reported we owed for 50 people the cake was made for 50 people. We got what we paid for, which was good. We did have leftovers and took them back with us. We had an almond flavored cake with Kahlua cream filling. It was the most wonderful cake I have ever had in my life! We love Freed's so much we went back for more goodies during our honeymoon in Vegas. If you want an impressive and delicious cake...Freed's is your place.

I the beginning they let us taste all of their cakes and they arranged such a nice cake for us.
They let us try everything we wanted even as it lasted mor than 1 hour to arrange everything.
It was delivered to our wedding dinner and it looked just the way we ordered it.
The taste was very good and we will always come back to this bakery.

Wow! Freed's was wonderful. We showed up without an appointment just to see what they had to offer and they let us do a tasting right then and there! They gave us so many different varieties to try and even gave our daughter a plate of her own. As soon as I walked in I saw a cake on the display that I loved and I was sold! When I saw it at my wedding it was even better than I remembered and it tasted amazing!!

Loved the cake and the guests did too! I have had so many guests say how delicious the cake was. They didn't try to bully me into paying an arm and a leg for cake either. They worked within my budget and actually kept me from over spending. The staff was helpful too! I definitely recommend paying for the delivery. It's $40 but worth it so you have one less thing to stress out about!

My husband and I just got married last month and we hired Freed's Bakery to make our wedding cake. They were easy to work with and made a delicious and beautiful cake! We delivered our cake topper to them about a month before the wedding. I was a little worried about it getting lost but it was not a problem! Overall they did a wonderful job and I highly recommend them!

Most adorable cake ever and so delicious. They worked with my budget and made a beautiful cake for the 2 of us. Wish I had ordered a bigger now....it was so yummy!

Freed's was great to deal with, and we arranged for delivery of the cake. The Sales manager was kind and helpful. I already knew what cake I wanted when I walked in. We had a great cake tasting and my husband fell in love with the marble cake with chocolate Royale filling. This was fantastic with our white ribbon swirl cake with buttercream frosting. It was definitely the highlight of our special day paired with a delicious champagne. Before we left the reception, my mother was already asking for cake leftovers!

We did the bride on a budget cake since we were having a dessert table. Although we had 90 people attend & order a cake size to feed aprox 30 it was more than enough. We chose a 2 tier with the bottom layer being the swirl cake design in chocolate & the top tier smooth design with vanilla cake. Both tiers had bavarian cream filling & buttercream icing. The service was excellent. There were a few emails back & forth due to my questions, everyone one if them were handled professionally & courteous. The cake was delivered on time. I highly recommend using them to do your wedding cake! Also consider a bride on a budget cake - great value!!!!

We gave Freeds a picture of what we would like our cake to look like, and they NAILED it! It was absolutely beautiful, and delicious! So many people told me how good our cake was and how beautiful it was. The lady we worked with was very nice and knowledgeable and this really made us feel at ease about what the final product would be like on the day of.

A great pleasure to work with. I ordered my cake exactly 9 days before my wedding with no issue. Cake was delivered on time, looked and tasted AWESOME!!! I plan on trying to order a small version of my cake for my anniversary next year. I love the entire staff.
