    Beautiful historic waterfront venue

    The Country Club staff made sure that our daughter's wedding day was stress free. This venue had everything we needed along with the best bartenders and wait staff. The golf course on the river was a beautiful backdrop for pictures. The wedding party enjoyed their golf cart rides to find the best photo shoots. This location was perfect for out of town guest to stay in historic Fredericksburg, and we provided the trolley ride to and from the venue. The Smithfield Mansion is a beautiful part of the areas history.

    They are super flexible and work within the budget we gave them, along with offering many things to help make our day great! They also have a beautiful venue inside and out! Great people and great service!

    We had a destination wedding in Jamaica but had our reception at the Fredericksburg Country Club. We had around 100 people there and it was great! The food was actually really good...and I know that alot of people talk about how good their food was...but no joke that people actually came to us during the reception and talked about how tasty it all was...we had a buffet set up and all of the food was still hot even though we started alittle late.

    The staff was very helpful in every aspect from planning (which there wasn't alot...the venue included food, bar, linens, tables), setup (we setup our own decorations, hanging lanterns, flowers, and cake, but they helped us when it came to putting favors at each place setting).

    The country club is a beautiful place with character. Our photographer took pictures of us around and in the building before and during the reception and the pictures came out great! There was even a separate room inside for the photographer to set up a photo booth...nice space!

    We used FCC for a small reception last year and everything was great! Their service + venue is affordable and beautiful. Only thing that disappointed us was the chair covers, we were told that they'd be included, however, the chairs didn't have the covers on the day of. Other than this, everything was great!

    We had our wedding reception at the Fredericksburg Country Club and it was beautiful! There were not many choices for us in Fredericksburg for our reception so we decided to go here. Overall I was very happy. Ruth did a great job working with me on all the planning details. The day of the wedding there were a few things that went wrong with the reception but we were able to look past that and overall it was a great night.
