If you want an authentically New York style wedding with delicious food in a magical little backyard...this is it. We had an early September wedding and the backyard was lush, like our own little oasis. We got so many compliments on the venue and the food...My guests keep bringing up the Gnocchi and the cocktails! Tucker was so responsive and had a rain plan ready just incase, but thankfully it was the most perfect day. I would recommend this venue if you are looking for a romantic intimate dinner vibe. We had a live band playing latin/jazz, dinner by candle light and enough room to make a little dance floor. The restaurant is a well oiled machine so theres not much to do except customise your vision, so it's a very low stress affair. There was so much food and desserts, and the drinks were free flowing. 10/10 we love Frankies!

Frankies hosted our August 2021 wedding, and we recommend them to anyone planning their wedding. Their communication, organization, and execution were spot-on, working with Tosca was easy and lovely, the food was great, the service was flawless, and the garden was beautiful.

We first contacted Frankies in winter 2020 because we ordered F&F pizza throughout the pandemic and knew that they had a lovely outdoor space. From the beginning, Tosca was candid, responsive, and completely organized. Throughout the process, Frankies told us exactly what they needed from us, and handled literally everything else. Frankies provided everything: linens, staff, setup, breakdown, etc. Frankies also did a wonderful job with dietary allergies and preferences (from picky eater children to guests prone to anaphylactic shock), and everything was handled professionally and seamlessly. I would say that everything was easy, but it likely only seemed that way because they were so good.

And, because it’s Frankies, the food was DELICIOUS and the wine free-flowing; literally all of our guests told us that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding.

Because this is the world we live in, I should also add that we really appreciated Frankies’ COVID policy and enforcement. The entire event space was either outside or extremely well-ventilated (three-walled “indoor” space), and all of the event staff observed COVID precautions. Even before NYC’s mandate, Frankies required that guests show proof of vaccination to attend (or, for kids, a negative test from the last 72 hours), which made it easier for us to verify folks’ vaccination status in advance. To our knowledge, no one got COVID from attending our wedding.

Hosting our wedding at Frankies was a great decision, and allowed us to hand off the most important parts of our wedding—space, setup, staffing, food, cleanup, etc.—to professionals who know what they’re doing. Our wedding was beautiful, magical, and memorable for all the right reasons, and we can’t recommend Frankies highly enough.

Tosca and her team at Frankies made our 25-person outdoor wedding an absolute dream come true. We could not have asked for more in terms of venue, food, and service. Due to covid and weather issues, we had to redo our seating chart multiple times. We also had various guests with dietary restrictions. Frankies was not only accommodating, they went above and beyond to make our day stress free and seamless. Our guests absolutely loved the experience and we had the best time ever. I highly recommend Tosca and Frankies if you are hoping to plan an intimate celebration (with or without covid.)

Thank you Tosca and her team for the support and flawlessly execution of our wedding reception. I appreciated how flexible they were with timing and some last minute requests. Frankies was a wonderful venue for what we were going for, and highly recommend it if you're looking for something more intimate!

My husband and I got married and hosted our dinner reception at Frankies in October of 2019. Tosca, Amber, Flora, and the entire team were incredible. We worked with Tosca leading up to the event and she was so responsive and so chill. It was a great experience. The wedding went perfectly. Of course our guests (mostly out-of-towners) raved about the food, but they also raved about the service. The entire staff was attentive and kind. Everything went so smoothly, I could not even believe it. I didn't have to worry about anything but having a good time. And now we get to celebrate every anniversary at Frankies with our wedding meal :) So special.

We live in Singapore and picked Frankies for our wedding having never actually been there. From the start, Tosca and the team provided amazing customer service, answering all our questions and putting us in touch with vendors.

The day itself was perfect - the staff looked after us (and was SO patient when many of guests arrived earlier and they were still setting up), the food was delicious as were the drinks. We were also grateful that even though we didn't want dancing at the wedding, we could have live music for the duration of our entire event.

For any couple looking for wedding slightly different than the big NYC wedding, I would highly recommend Frankies.

We had our wedding here this past Saturday and what an amazing venue! It has so much character and the food is outstanding! They were a pleasure to work with and the whole process was very smooth. We had the best time along with all our guests who just kept talking about how wonderful the food was and what a beautiful venue. I highly recommend this venue!

I had multiple brides point me in the direction of Frankies, which was a good sign to begin with, but Frankies seriously surpassed all my expectations. Marci was a pleasure to work with, the venue was perfect (felt like a Tuscan lunch), the wait staff professional and the food AMAZING. If you are looking for a place to host a small, intimate wedding, look no further.

Amazing service! Amazing Staff ! Amazing Food ! Amazing Venue! Frankies 457 made our wedding a dream come true. Frankies does not only provide delicious food but a beautiful venue as well. Frankies had the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. The yard was bright , warm and cozy . Our wedding felt as we were sitting in garden in Italy. Addison and her staff were super patient and wonderful. They were always making sure that our guest were happy. Marci and Michael were very professional and easy to communicate with . They were able to answer all of questions , concerns as well as accommodate all of our needs. The day of the wedding went as planned and I cannot be more thankful to such a wonderful place and all the great people that work there. We can't wait to celebrate more of our memorable occasions with Frankies 457.

I cannot say enough good things about Frankies! We are so happy we booked this place for our intimate wedding dinner reception. We had the private stable space with just under 50 guests.

We were beyond impressed with the service and the food throughout the evening. All of our guests have been complimenting our choosing Frankies. Madison and the rest of the staff coordinated the event so well and were very receptive to us throughout the entire night. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was gorgeous, and everything was conducted with the highest level of professionalism with a personal touch.

We are so happy with our decision to have our ceremony and reception in the garden / stable at Frankie's. It was the perfect size for our 40 guests - an intimate dinner party with our closest friends and family. The ceremony was originally planned for another outdoor location, but the weather was not on our side that week, and Marci (events) was so helpful and responsive that week of. She helped us get heaters and tent at the last minute and re-organize the time line so that we could do the ceremony under the tent in the garden and then move inside for dinner. It was absolutely perfect.
We were fairly laid-back regarding the process and were thankful for Marci's guidance and just letting us go with the flow.
During our tasting, we chose wine and were able to meet the beverage director who offered to order beer from my hometown specifically for our wedding which was a very nice touch and I'm so happy we had it.
The planning process, service (before, during, and after the wedding), and, duh, the food were above and beyond our expectations and we will always remember the day.

Frankies catered our wedding at The Green Building in Carroll Gardens, and they did a TRULY AMAZING job.

The food was delicious and beautifully presented, from the cocktail hour, to the main course. The service was extra special...having true restaurant servers means a little extra attention to detail and some personality (a good thing!), making the meal feel as honest and heartfelt as we hoped it would.

Marci, their event planner, is organized and experienced, and she is a wealth of information...hit her up for some great vendor recommendations...

We would definitely recommend Frankies 457 for your wedding. They bring a very special Brooklyn flair to your big day, with all of the style and class you could wish for.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend Frankies to anyone given their response to the COVID-19 pandemic. We had to cancel our wedding scheduled for June 20, 2020 due to the shutdown and circumstances in NYC for restaurants/events and also the limitations on gatherings over 10 people. I provided written cancellation to them in accordance with my contract on March 16, 2020. The deposit is fully refundable so long as at least 28 days notice is provided. This is per the contract I signed, as well as Frankies. They confirmed via email my deposit would be fully refunded to me within 30 days. The next day I received an email saying my deposit couldn't be refunded until the restaurant "re-opened." As we all know, restaurants are no where close to re-opening for in person dining, which would have been (potentially) when I could have received my $14,200 deposit back. I went back and forth with their COO Lauren Merkin all throughout March and April regarding my deposit and I even offered her a payment plan. While I tried to be understanding of their small business, they unfortunately did not work with me whatsoever to get me my money back. I offered her an option to pay me only $5,000 within the 30 day time frame and then pay me $2,000 a month thereafter- which I think is extremely generous of me to offer when I never agreed to give Frankies an interest free loan. They had no idea what my financial situation was and basically fraudulently took my MUCH NEEDED $14,200 after I did not receive a check on April 15th. Lauren told me they didn't have the money to give me. Very scary to think a restaurant that holds events spends your money as soon as it is received. They do NOT hold your event money in escrow for safe keeping until AFTER the event concludes. Luckily I was extremely fortunate to have used my Chase Freedom credit card to charge all of the deposits totaling $14,200. I reported Frankies as fraudulent on April 15th and Chase refunded me the money immediately. I just received word yesterday that (of course) I won my dispute and the refund is now permanent on my account. I feel incredibly sad thinking of all the couples who may have paid in cash or by check that aren't as lucky as me.

Frankies looked like a beautiful space to hold an intimate wedding and the pasta was incredible. However, given the extreme uncertainty going forward for likely many years due to this pandemic, I can never recommend Frankies to anyone holding an event.
