This venue is absolutely fabulous! The venue is perfect for a bride who wants industrial/rustic setting. The food was delicious and the venue itself is extremely flexible and accommodate. The event coordinator Lindsay Dardas is phenomenal and made are day flow with ease. I highly recommend having your wedding here. We could not have asked for a better day!

We were so happy with The Frankenmuth Brewery for our wedding! Lindsey, our wedding coordinator, was incredible from start to finish. I sincerely appreciated her sharing the options that could work with our budget, her organization for our big day to keep things timely, and so much more. The food and drinks were delicious, the staff were great, the venue was gorgeous, and all of our guests truly enjoyed themselves (and loved having hotel options right across the street)! I highly recommend this venue!

Frankenmuth Brewery was excellent all the way around. Highly organized and professional. We threw them a few curve balls and they rolled with them. Kara and Katerina were our coordinators they were excellent. Would recommend the venue to anyone. The bar tending staff and wait staff was also excellent. I can’t think of a single complaint.

We just had our wedding at The River View at Frankenmuth Brewery and everything was amazing! From the food to the drinks to the amazing wedding coordinating services by Kara and her team! Great atmosphere, great service, and just a phenomenal experience. I recommend anyone to have their wedding, event or dinner here! 5 stars!!

I could not have asked for a more perfect day. I have gotten so many compliments from my guest. The food, the service and the venue was perfect!

We had our wedding here on 10/8/16 and from the moment we saw the place we knew this was the best and only place we could have our wedding at! we even decided this before we were even engaged. Dezarae and all the staff were nothing but professional and helpful in every way. I emailed her probable 25 times and each and every time I got a response and advice. We changed a few things the week of the wedding and it was no problem at all. We only had one thing go wrong at the wedding but Dezarae was fast at fixing it that no one even noticed. The venue itself is gorgeous and beautiful. We had the smaller room with the floor to ceiling windows and it was the best view and everyone raved about it as well as the food and staff! if you are looking for a place to get married this is it look no further. Our guest are still talking about out wedding and the food.

We were married and had our reception here a week ago and everything was perfect! Dezarae was a great help throughout our planning. We planned our wedding from out of state, so the responsiveness to my MANY questions was huge. The venue is beautiful with both the ceremony and reception areas looking over the river. The reception room actually has a wall of windows which can be fully opened to create more of a covered patio feel.
We had a mixup where we started an hour earlier than what the brewery had us down for starting. I am sure that there was a huge scramble to move dinner up an hour. Dezarae did not even say there was a problem until she had the kitchen set to get dinner out and had the problem resolved. Something that could have been a disaster added no stress and no one had any idea that there was a mixup. Everyone has been raving about how good the food and beer were and how beautiful and unique the venue was. I would definitely recommend taking a look at this venue.

We recently(10/3/15) got married at the Brewery and it was AMAZING! I have spent the last year and a half corresponding with Dezarae via e-mail, as we live 2 hours away, and she was so helpful. No matter how many times I e-mailed her or what it was about, she made sure everything was perfect. We had the ceremony and reception downstairs in the River Room and it was gorgeous. We chose the barbecue menu and everyone loved it. The menu included things like hot dogs, burgers, brats, grilled chicken, potato salad and chips. We had several of the appetizers added as well and I hear they were delicious as well (we were out taking pictures while they were served!) We chose to serve beer and wine since it was all house made and it also came with sangria, which was the best sangria I've ever had! Toward the end of the night, we had pizza and root beer floats served and it was a great choice! People are STILL talking about how awesome the wedding was. Everyone loved the yummy food, drinks, and the unique atmosphere. If you are looking for a wedding venue that is different, this is definitely it. All of our friends and family said how they loved how unique and "laid-back" or wedding was! Dezarae is one of the most helpful women I have worked with and she will make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible! :)

We had our wedding reception at the Brewery and it was honestly the only venue we looked at - you could say it was love at first sight! It was where we had our first date, so when we discovered there was a banquet hall, we had to check it out. The space is beautiful - we loved the brick and wood, and the concrete floors (I hate ugly banquet hall carpet!) and our favorite part was the floor-to-ceiling windows that open up along the riverside - that was perfect later on in the evening and made it feel like we had an outdoor reception! We were so excited that a date opened up and we didn't have to wait until 2016! We worked with Dezarae the entire time and she was so awesome to work with! She was quick to respond to all my emails and never seemed to rush us when we had meetings in person with her. The food was amazing, and who doesn't love having all their awesome beers on draft - our guests were definitely happy! Thank you Dez and the Brewery staff for making our wedding perfect! =)

The Frankenmuth Brewery was wonderful. The venue overlooks the river and has lots of windows. I fell in love with the venue the first time we viewed it. But - the Frankenmuth Brewery also has amazing staff and service! Everything went very smoothly on the day of my wedding and I know that the staff at the brewery was to thank. I would highly recommend the brewery and their staff. Not only is it a beautiful unique venue but the food is remarkable and the staff is willing to go above and beyond.

Frankenmuth Brewery was such a perfect wedding venue for us! The staff was so helpful and accommodating, and the facility is beautiful. Everyone told us how much they loved it!

Our wedding was perfect! It was the perfect setting for a winter wonderland wedding. We had both rooms. One side for sitting and the other side for dancing and games. The food was to die for! Our appetizers, main course and pizza buffet was on point.

They were great when I first saw where the rehearsal dinner was going to be I was a little nervous but they set it up absolutely perfect. The waiter Marcus was very attentive and great. And it was a great night the food was great the service was great all I remember is we were the last ones standing and hey isnt that a sign of a good night LOL!!!!!

We had an amazing small wedding ceremony/reception on the top deck. Everything turned out perfectly; the staff was very friendly and made all the last minute changes I asked for. The views were beautiful, and the beer/food was fantastic! We had so much fun, and appreciated the quality of service! Thank you to Nicole, Dezarae, and the rest of the wonderful staff for making our day so special!

My Fiance and I always look for the nearest brewery while traveling, so it was a no brainer we wanted to have our reception at a brewery. Frankenmuth Brewery is inbewtween our home towns so it was first on our list to check out. We mad an appointment with Nicole to look at the space and booked immediately. The Space couldn't get any more perfect with cement flooring with wood inlet, a beautiful wooden bar, the view of the river, and the kitchen is attached to the space. Our top priorities for our guests were beverages and food. Nicole helped us through the entire process and was amazing to work with. The wedding day arrived, Nicole and her staff were attentive to everything my sister and "set up crew" (family) needed. The waitstaff brought out the food quickly, the portions were beyond what we expected, it was fresh, hot, and i didn't see a single guest plate not wiped clean! The bartenders were fantastic with service and drinks, ! Even though the food had been served and cleared, the waitstaff made sure the parents, bridal party, and guests continued to have everything we needed, they even started packing away decorations that were done being used; plate chargers, cake plate,etc. and stayed to pack the rest of the decorations, we were out of the space in no time with their help! There wasnt a single thing i would've changed about my reception. Guests are still raving about the food, drinks, and service!!

Could not have picked a better venue for our wedding. We dealt with amazing coordinators who made every wish a reality. They were even able to accommodate my wish for corn on the cob. I have received rave reviews from guests regarding the food and heard many great things about the atmosphere. The rooftop patio is perfect for the ceremony and my pictures from up there look amazing. Chef Ernie introduced himself the morning of the wedding and was there until we left for the night. The COO came down at the end of the night to introduce himself and took my husband, our photographer, and myself down to the production room and we were able to get a picture in Michigan's oldest cellar. Definitely the cherry on top. I would highly recommend them to anyone but it's definitely not your traditional wedding venue.

We were married on April 1st, 2017 and our guests are STILL talking about our fantastic reception at the Frankenmuth Brewery! Everything about our experience with the brewery was positive including our banquet coordinator Autumn. She was amazing to work with, professional, and so accommodating of even some of the last minute requests. We did buffet style dinner and the food was wonderful & plentiful...the staff kept it stocked so that all of our guests had plenty and no one had to wait. The service of the bar staff and the quality of the beer just goes without saying! The open bar provided our guests with 7 of their most popular brews which offered something for everyone. As guests were leaving throughout the night, the most frequent comment we heard was how they couldn't believe how WONDERFUL the venue was...no one knew what to expect being at a brewery, but everyone loved it. It was an AMAZING DAY for so many reasons...and the exceptional venue to celebrate marrying my Prince Charming was definitely at tye top of that list!

We chose the Frankenmuth Brewery for our wedding ceremony and reception for a few reasons. First off, we wanted something unique and not just a hotel ballroom for our wedding. We also wanted the whole day in one spot. We loved the convenience of the hotel being directly across the street, so no one had to drive after the wedding. The brewery offered everything we wanted for our wedding day, and their service was top-notch! I was in contact with Dezarae frequently in the months leading up to the wedding, and she was very quick to respond and help me with everything I needed (which believe me, was a lot!). The food was delicious and the bar service was awesome! We had the ceremony on the rooftop patio and it was PERFECT. If you're looking for a more unique, party-like atmosphere that you can make your own and still have a beautiful, dream wedding, THIS is your venue! You won't be disappointed!

We got married at the Frankenmuth Brewery in June, and we had a lovely day despite a torrential downpour! The food was delicious (it's been a couple of months and I'm still getting compliments), we had a great beer and wine selection, it was the perfect size space for our number of guests (~120 with enough space for a photobooth and dance floor), and the view over the river was lovely. Shoutout to the entire front of house staff and to Autumn Dietzel for being so great to work with! The wait and bar staff members were quick, polite to my guests, and totally professional. Autumn worked on the events side and she was pleasant, quick to respond to my (many, many) emails, and got lots of compliments from my parents, who worked with her as well.

I'm giving the venue 4ish stars instead of 5 because we had serious difficulty during the planning process with some of the (now former) back of house/events staff that negatively impacted the day in some major ways. No need to get into it all here - after the wedding I worked with the general manager, Chuck Osberger, who was totally kind and sympathetic, and we worked out a completely fair and favorable after-the-fact solution. He's since hired a lot of new staff, including a banquets manager, who I'm optimistic will take future events at the brewery in the right direction. Given the new staffing, and all of the other lovely aspects of our wedding day, I'd recommend the Frankenmuth Brewery to anyone looking for a semi-casual but still beautiful and unique wedding or banquet venue. As beer lovers who wanted a classy but non-traditional wedding, it struck the perfect balance for us!

Amazing venue! Minimal decorations are needed, food was outstanding, the girls that work the banquet center are very easy to work with although they don't respond to emails too prompt. Overall, very satisfied with our choice to have our wedding here. Dream come true.

The brewery was a beautiful venue and the food was great. Unfortunately I was a little upset with parts of my wedding day experience, starting with the bar, we chose the beer and wine package and added two signature drinks. When the liquor behind the bar ran out any extra was supposed to be added to our tab, instead they told guests we were out causing people to buy drinks, I was so embarrassed. On the night of the full time manager (who I had been working with through my planning) was not there nor was she there for the rehearsal dinner either, although the other manager was very resourceful she had an occasionally rude daminor about her which made some of our encounters a little awkward. Aside from these setbacks we had a great wedding at the brewery.

Everything was fine, but when there was a problem they were extremely unprofessional. I would not suggest for anyone to go there.

The venue is absolutely beautiful but the management is severely lacking. I warn you to not book here if Michelle Stone is still the event manager. I don’t write negative reviews lightly but her management led to a dangerous and highly irresponsible mistake at my wedding. tl;dr she ignored my guests life-threatening allergies.
My mother and one other guest have a severe gluten allergy. I requested the buffet dinner for my wedding but I explicitly told Michelle that my mother has a severe gluten allergy and asked if she could be given an allergen free plated meal instead of the buffet. Michelle said of course they could get a separate plate. If she had told me no, I would’ve switched to plated meals to ensure my moms safety. We discussed this again at our next meeting, and I confirmed multiple times over email that I had 2 specialty gluten free plated meals and 1 plated vegan meal. It says so in the latest worksheet for our wedding that Michelle sent me as well.
Yet on our wedding day I watched as the vegan meal came out and the gluten free did not. Both I, my mother, the other gluten free guest, and one of my bridesmaids asked several times over the course of dinner where the gluten free plates were, and the servers kept assuring us that they were “coming soon”. I watched as my mother and the other guest sat foodless at their table while the other guests finished their plates of food entirely. Finally I was able to find one if the managers and ask again and she said that there are no gluten free plates and my guests would have to eat from the buffet and pick what was not gluten free.
Now this upsets me for several reasons as I’m sure everyone can understand.
We had been told over and over that their plates were coming and now after everyone else has finished eating they’re told to just go through the buffet.
More importantly though is the issue of this being an allergy. My moms allergy is severe enough that she needs to know her meal has been cooked for someone with a gluten allergy (different pots and pans used, kitchen space wiped down between making things with gluten, etc.) to avoid cross contamination. Furthermore, even if there were gluten free options in the buffet, there is no way to guarantee that there has been no cross contamination between items. Especially as they were only told at the very end, my gluten free guests had to go through after 85 other guests had already gone through the buffet, and there is no way of knowing if other guests potentially mixed items up or dropped crumbs into different items, as is bound to happen at a buffet. My mom would never eat at a buffet specifically because of this risk. Now my own mom on my wedding day had a choice: starve, leave my wedding to eat somewhere else, or risk anaphylactic shock by eating at the buffet.
After my wedding I emailed Michelle Stone about what had happened, because her oversight was dangerous and I wanted to make sure this never happened to another bride. This was a huge stress on what should’ve been my happiest day. Michelle never bothered to email me back.
This venue could be perfect, but unfortunately needs new management. Be warned, Michelle Stone does not care about the safety of your guests.

I'm sure the venue is going to hate this review, as I'm sure they are already annoyed with me. We were married here and had our reception here on 10/4/14 and it saddens me that we had to deal with all that we dealt with. I'm not going to put all the details in here, but in a nutshell, Nicole (who not longer works there) was awesome building up to our wedding, she helped me out a ton, and we became friends. As for the rest of the staff, they were rude, did things their way or no way, didn't seem to care that we spent a ton of money etc.. Ryan, the general manager of the business, I have never personally met (another thing that really ticked us off) didn't seem to care when I emailed him our concerns following the wedding. He passed my email along and had other staff contact me, only after I demanded a response from him, did he respond, and offered us a gift card.... thanks? The place itself is awesome, great view, amazing décor and vibe, and amazing food (my guests are still talking about how great the food was) but as for professionalism, and organization, they need a serious, serious lesson.
