The Perfect Day

A wedding is something that flashes by and in an instant the day is gone and the dress is off never to be worn again. to capture the light of our wedding day is what Francois did and we are able to see every candid moment capturing the celebration of our love. He was great having wonderful placement and open to our visions as well. Our pictures could not have come out better.

Francois absolutely exceeded our expectations for not only our wedding day, but also our "Trash the Dress" ceremony a few days later. He truly made our Hawaiian getaway extra special. He is a class act that completely removed the stress of trying to pick a photographer sight unseen. In short, he rocks. Thank you again, Francois!!!!!!!!!!

Francois took beautiful pictures of our wedding ceremony. It's easy to work with him, he's really friendly and humorously. We had a lot of fun during the shooting and the pictures are amazing.
The communication via email and the exchange of the photos were easy-going.

Francois - the most professional, funniest, sporty photograph.
We love his work - our beautiful photos of our wedding at the Makena Cove and our trash the dress-photos at Paipu- Beach with the surfboard in and under the water.

Last year in October we had an amazing Wedding on Maui Island. Thanks to Francois, we spend a great time back home in Germany looking at all these outstanding, beautiful photos he has taken. He made us look like Hollywood Stars. :-). Pictures could not have been any bettter.

My children and i did a photo shoot with Francois while visiting Maui over Thanksgiving. We were trying to get a holiday card together. We had a great experience with Francois. Very professional and accommodating. The only challenge we had was unpredictable weather (rain) and finicky software to view the images and pick favorites. I would highly recommend Francois to to others for similar shoots.

Francois was completely AMAZING just as a person in general and the pictures he obtained of our special day absolutely left us speechless!!! It was a blast working with him after the ceremony!! We will certainly recommend him in the future and look forward to continuing business with him shall we make it maui again. There aren't enough words the express how happy we were. Also the way the pictures were stored is extremely creative and professional. Than when we came back to Alaska we called on him to helping us retrieve our photos at a print shop due to copyrights(the store said without a doubt they were done professionally and to protect the photographer) they required a photo release form and within an hour of the request we had one emailed to us!!!

Very professional, creative and fast. Francois is a very creative photagrafer who perfectly matched our wishes and surpass our expectations. We did three shoots (Wedding ceremony, Sun set and Trash the dress with underwater pictures) and got amazing pictures of our perfect day. Wonderful photos. Edited photos were provided very fast 2 days after the wedding. 'Works' in background during the wedding ceremony, that was very good to enjoy the ceremony. He takes the time after the ceremony to take lots of different /varied photos.

It was a great pleasure to work with Francois Laborde!

He is not only a talented photographer, he also also managed to made us feel comftable from the first moment. There was not one minute we felt rushed or as it is a very fake situation. The whole shooting came along very natural and was really fun.

Besides we were impressed about the professionel teamwork between Francois and our videographer.

The whole communication process with Francois was very professionell, he even managed to edit more than 200 pictures in one day, in so far we highly recommand him :-)

Great job taking the pictures of our wedding in April 2014 in Maui!!
Special Thank you! for fixing my "crazy" hair because of a windy day. I am proud to show the pictures to the family and friends! We will always remember and will always be proud of that day.
Francois Laborde is a great photograph. We enjoyed working with him and pictures are the best proof.
He took a lot of great pictures and use perfectly the surroundings to create special moments to remember.

Also we had only 3 days after our Wedding on maui until we leave,it was very stressless for us,to get our pictures!francois was very comunicative and he made it happen,that we met him to get this wonderful pictures of our Wedding in this few days!we could write so much more positiv comments about the work of François,but we can't find the Right words in english because our home Language is German!but if there are any German People who have any questions about François Service please let us know so we can answer in our home language!

My wife Stephanie and I chose Francois via our wedding agency for our marriage on beautiful Maui Island. Since we did not bring any guests with us, we had and intimate beach wedding: relaxed, funny and nevertheless professional people made this the truly best day of our lifes so far.

Francois hat good ideas and he is a kind and absolutely positive person - and everyone who comes to our house wants to know everything about the beautiful pictures standing in the living room. Since every photo just looks fantastic, I plan to buy a digital picture frame, to let them change from time to time.

We were a week on Maui, had some days for checking the wedding sights, the wedding on Saturday (our 10th Anniversary) and then had to take the plane on Monday to spend another week on Oahu. So we were afraid, that getting our hands on our photos might be a problem - it was not! :)
When my wife and I returned from our trip to Hana (please do yourselves a favour an book a guided tour!) on Sunday in the evening, we receive a link to take a glimpse at the pictures. We were stunned. It was easy to get in touch with Francois and we even had a meeting just some hours before our flight to Oahu left to receive digital copies of the photos on CD.
As we were told the people on the island of Maui use to say: No hurry, no worry.

We hope to meet again some time in the future. Till this day come, we will enjoy the beautiful memories Francois did capture in his photografs for us.

Francois was a perfect pick as our wedding photographer. We had a small casual wedding, as I am not a fan of being the center of attention. He helped us feel relaxed throughout the photo session before and after the wedding, and captured a lot of beautiful candid shots! The quality of all the photos we received was excellent!!!

We booked Francois for our wedding photography in Makena, Maui and can absolutely recommend him to other bridal couples. The photo shooting was high professional and we felt very comfortable during the whole time. We liked his gentle and supporting way to lead us through the photo session – we had the chance to pose naturally but since we are no professional models we were also glad about his helpful instructions.

And the results are really stunning! When we showed the pictures to our family and friends at home we heard comments like: “These are the most wonderful wedding photos I’ve ever seen in my life!” What more can I say? Just:

My wedding photographer was exactly what I wanted. He allowed me to be apart of the creative process while guiding us with his expert ideas as well. I was able to enjoy the wedding with no stress, knowing and trusting that the photographer would capture all the magic moments and my best side;)
