Delicious Cakes!

We sampled Francesco's Bakery at a bridal showcase in early October and every cake we tasted was moist and delicious! The pastry chef at the location was knowledgeable and very personable. We can't wait to come in for our formal tasting!

On Point!!!

OMG... this bakery was recommended by my Godmother and when I say they came highly recommended they did and they did not disappoint. They suffered a massive set back and they showed up and showed out with my cake! The texture, flavor and design of my cake was wonderful. The team was helpful and did not hesitate with their suggestions and carried out all the amendments that I did😊

If you are on Long Island definitely give them a try!!!

Delicious and affordable

So many times do you find yourself overwhelmed by all the options and the expense of wedding related items. Francescos bakery was a refreshing change providing delicious food at a reasonable amount

Cake was perfection

From the tasting to the final day, Francesco's was wonderful. Our cake came with our venue package and we were so lucky because it was delicious. You could enhance the cake but we chose to stay within the covered limits for a simple and elegant design. Our decorator added fresh flowers and made it sing. It was gorgeous and again absolutely scrumptious. It's been a week since our wedding and we are still eating the sheet cake we got! The cake is still moist and yummy. Thank you Francesco's!

Beautiful Cake!

Francesco's Bakery is the affiliated bakery for my wedding venue and they provided the cake for my 12/1/18 wedding. The cake tasting was so fun and I had brought them a picture of a very elaborate cake that I was in love with and they really worked with me to take the elements of the cake I liked and make it into a version that was more in-line with my budget. The end result was amazing. It was the most beautiful wedding cake I had ever seen, and it was delicious! My guests all enjoyed it. I was almost sad to have to cut it and serve it! It was perfect!

Amazing, perfect!

Cake was delicious, EXACTLY like the picture we provided. We checked on them a couple of times after we discovered the original person who helped us left. A couple of things were wrong when we checked to make sure they had the right information. After only speaking with Eileen, we felt better and she made sure everything was on the money. Guests were raving about how beautiful and great it was!

Our wedding cake was beautiful! And delicious. All our guests loved it. Booking our cake tasting was easy and the girl who helped us was so nice and didn't push any upgrades on us. She let us pick what WE wanted. Very happy with our choice. Highly recommend.

Francesco's Bakery was a great choice for us to get our custom wedding cake! From the moment we sat for our appointment with Helen she worked with us to design a cake that not only captured our wedding theme, but our personal style as a couple. She was fabulous throughout the entire process and was very responsive any time we contacted her with questions or concerns. Unlike other bakeries we met with, we actually got the sense that they were interested in designing our cake as if it were a piece of art and not just another job. They also provide a great sample plate at the tasting with lots of options to choose from! Helen encouraged us to bring in our drawings/ideas and we discussed design aspects to get the centerpiece cake we wanted. When we saw the final result on our wedding day we were in awe – they truly brought our vision to life! And it was delicious! We highly recommend Francesco's and look forward to using them in the future for custom cakes!

Francesco's Bakery helped deliver the most beautiful wedding cake we could possibly imagine for our special day. From the very beginning they captured our vision creatively and over-delivered our expectations. More importantly - the cake was SO delicious! Our tasting was one of the hardest experiences from our wedding planning because every flavor was even better than the previous one! When everything you taste is amazing how can you narrow your choices down? Our cake was beautiful and everyone commented how it looked and tasted amazing. I was worried at first after hearing some horror stories, but everything with the cake went smoothly. We scheduled our tasting and was advised what was included in the package. They were able to accommodate my dietary needs (gluten free) and brought my vision to life with the cake. I also got the grooms cake from there and it was awesome. The color was a little off, but I think that was because of the quality photo I had on my phone.

Amazing. I usually think wedding cake is overrated and normally it doesn't ever taste good but this cake is SO GREAT. We did half cannoli half fresh strawberry and cream and it did not disappoint. The staff on site helped us decide on flavors and design. I even made some last minute changes and they incorporated everything. The cake stayed very well in the freezer and we got to enjoy it again at our one year. Highly recommend! Will be using this bakery for future events :)

Our wedding cake was included in our package with Westbury Manor through Francesco’s Bakery. My now husband and I were so excited to hear that because we know Francesco’s Bakery is known for their amazing cakes! Sandy was great to work with during our cake tasting and answered any questions we had! They cake turned out beautifully and everyone loved how delicious it was! Francesco’s provided the cake for our 10/8/17 wedding at the Arianna Waterfall. The cake we picked was delicious and gorgeous. Our guests raved about the cake. We had a vanilla cake with 4 different layers filled with cannoli & chocolate pudding filling. When we went in for our cake tasting Giancarlo was absolutely great. He helped us put together our cake and answered all our questions. Thank you to all the staff of Francesco’s & Giancarlo for making our wedding cake for our special day. We will be back in to get more goodies in the future to come

Our wedding cake was done beautifully! Westbury Manor recommended Francesco's so we went with this bakery for our wedding cake and everything worked out wonderful. The day of my wedding was obviously the first time I saw the finished cake and I was so impressed. I'd highly recommend! =)

Giancarlo and the team here were AWESOME!

My Fiancé and I had gone to pick out her wedding cake months before the actual wedding... we went with an upgraded cake that was carrot cake and completely delicious, I highly recommend it our guests raved about the cake.
Past the flavor of the cake though was the amazing service we received from Giancarlo.
Four days before my wedding he called just to verify the colors of the flowers that were to be on the cake. I took that opportunity to ask him if we could make a change to the cake. I wanted to have a surprise for my husband of a Corvette peaking out from the back of the cake from under the fondant. Not only did he make this happen he made it easy!!
I cannot say enough about this vendor and would use him over and over again for any special occasion!

Friendly staff, and delicious cake! We ordered our wedding cake from here, and it was amazing. My wife and I were absolutely thrilled with how it looked, and the little bite we got from it was so good. I wish we could have tasted more of it, but we've been back the bakery many times after the wedding to try more of their delicious eats. We highly recommend using Franceso's for your events.

My husband and I just had our wedding cake made on 7/8/17. Giancarlo did an Amazing Job!!! We had a little up charge for the sugar flowers we wanted added but it was so worth it. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful our cake was and how great it tasted. We had a cannoli cake! We can't wait until our 1 year anniversary to have another cake!

We cannot say enough good things about this bakery and their store manager Giancarlo! Being a baker myself I was very particular about how I wanted the cake to taste and more specifically look in order to go with the decor and theme of the wedding. I have to say they went above and beyond to ensure that I would have everything I wanted in a cake, even sample cake design to make sure they nailed it, which of course they did!

I wanted a tree/ bark cake- that would be very light like berch wood. This is a very difficult design that I had in mind and after one sample attempt to work out the coloring and design issue, the second attempt blew me away! Our cake was amazing and exactly what we wanted, plus it tasted great! Well worth the extra money we spent to have our design elements come to life and to have our special cake flavor.

Can't wait for our 1 year anniversary cake!

Francesco’s provided the cake for our 5/12/17 wedding at the Fox Hollow. I have celiac disease, so it was important to me to have our cake be Gluten-Free and I was concerned about using a regular bakery, but since the cake was included with our Fox Hollow package, we set up a tasting. They had both regular and gluten-free cake for us to taste and they made sure I felt secure ordering GF from them (at a small upcharge). The cake was delicious (I’ve been GF for 10+ years now so I wouldn’t know the difference, but guests told me they enjoyed it!) and it was really great to have the GF option. They frosted it exactly how we asked and had it ready for our florist to put flowers on the day of the wedding. It ended up being such a beautiful cake and made for some great pictures! We used the Nutella mousse filling and loved it! Highly recommend!

We got a funfetti cake covered in sprinkles. The cake was one of the best desserts I've ever had! Our guests were RAVING about how amazing the cake was for weeks. The tasting was fun too... it was hard to decide what to get!

Our cake was complimentary for us through our venue and we weren't sure what to expect. We met with Giancarlo at the Hicksville site. He was swamped that day but he was patient and answered all our questions. He reassured us that the cake was the one thing we didn't need to worry about - he would take care of it. On the day of, we couldn't be happier with the finished product. It was exactly what we were looking for - elegant, simple and classy.

You will not be disappointed by their work!

My fiance and I went to meet with Gian Carlo a few months before our wedding to pick out our wedding cake. When we arrived Gian Carlo gave us a book and went over flavoring and designing with us. He let us try some of the samples and it was so hard to pick because they were all so good! We had the most beautiful simple wedding cake which tasted amazing. I have to say there wasn't a doubt in my mind that our cake wouldn't be delicious as my family and I had been going to this bakery for years. Once the appointment was over he gave us a certificate to come back on our year and he will give us an anniversary cake. It was such a great experience and the cake was tasted fantastic!

Francesco's was included in the package at our venue. Tasting was easy to set up and the staff was very friendly. They had a nice selection and we had an easy time picking our two flavors. They took an image from a photo I bought and completely recreated it for me. Very happy all around.

We used Francesco's for our wedding cake for our July 4 wedding (it was included with our venue Fox Hollow). They did an amazing job! Giancarlo was great to work with at our cake tasting and our cake came out exactly like we wanted! I would highly reccommend!!

A wedding cake Francesco's Italian-American Bakery was included in the contract with my venue, The Woodlands. Since my husband and I hate cake (sorry, this already a polarizing review!), we asked Francesco’s if we could trade in our cake credit for a different dessert. No problem – they calculated our “cake credit” based on our headcount, and gave us a dollar amount to spend at the bakery. We wound up with an assortment of 5 different pies and they were all delicious. They delivered the pies right to our venue and handled all the logistics.

My husband and I hate bakery cake and we felt the cake tasting and picking out our cake would be the least exciting and even an annoying part of wedding planning. NOT!!! GianCarlo of Francesco's is the nicest, most professional and accommodating vendor that I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. We didn't want fondant and we wanted something a bit different. After explaining my visions to GianCarlo, he showed me a naked cake with smeared icing and fresh flowers. This cake had the different slightly rustic and romantic look I was going for. What was better than the way it looked? The taste! I've never actually enjoyed the taste of a wedding cake. My husband and I chose to upgrade to carrot cake and red velvet on alternating tiers. I heard from so many guests that the cake tasted 'homemade' and was incredible. Lastly, two of our married couple friends had their wedding anniversaries the same weekend after our wedding. GianCarlo included two cupcakes with the number for their anniversaries free of charge. You will not regret choosing Francesco's Bakery. Giancarlo was a true gentleman and told me when I met him at the Inn at New Hyde Park's bridal showcase that he can do anything I wanted and would sit and discuss with me. Our cake, basic costs, we included within our venue. When we went for our cake tasting and I was explaining my vision, he explained everything in detail from the small things to the biggest things about a wedding cake. He truly went out of his way and created such an environment, my cake was the last thing I worried about. My wedding cake CAME OUT AMAZING! I couldn't even have imagined it any better or more perfect. It matched and exceeded my expectations in every way. We had a 5 tier cake and even told us to place 2 flavors/different types for the layers. We did a chocolate cake with chocolate pudding in one layer and then did a Vanilla cake, with vanilla custard and fresh strawberries. I also know that the pastries and cookies that were in our Venetian hour was made by Francesco's as well---these were all delicious as well.

I love Francescos Bakery. Giancarlo is amazing to work with and the cake was delicious. I got my groom cake here and it was very impressive (the shape of a scotch bottle). He even gave me a cupcake for the rehearsal dinner as it was my nephews birthday. 100% recommend

Our venue has an arrangement with Francesco's to provide a "standard" wedding cake. We knew we would want something "more". At our appointment we looked through many different cakes, but ultimately went with one we found on pinterest. There was an upcharge for fondant, which we felt was very reasonable. We enjoyed the cake tasting, they had so many options! Everyone was very professional. The day of our wedding, we were we love with our cake. So many people complemented the style, and the taste. Definitely a great choice!

Quick and easy ordering. Make sure you give yourself ample time for an appointment....it took longer to get an appointment than planned. The cake was amazing and our guests who weren't going to eat it were told to go and taste it. They all loved the raspberry filling. Great reviews by all.

Francesco's Bakery was packaged with our venue Westbury Manor. Setting up an appointment was quick and easy. My maid of honor, fiancé , and I went in for the cake tasting and we had so many choices. I just want to say that when a baker is just as excited to make your cake as you, you know you've found the right one! We had a Superhero themed wedding and our baker was so excited talking to us about it. We showed him what we wanted and he completely blew us away. It came out exactly how we wanted. Our cake was the hit of the party. And not only did it look amazing, I was so delicious. I actually sat down and ate my cake and no one was snatching me away from my cake haha. absolutely worth every penny!

This bakery was recommended by chateau Briand caterers for our wedding and their cake was included in our package. Upon walking in we were greeted by the owner and given a sampling of all their different cake and filling options. He let us taste away and gave us some time alone to discuss. This part of the wedding planning was my husbands favorite part! We wound up upgrading our cake so we had to spend a little money for the extras, though we weren't pressured to do so. The owner was upfront about everything, no hidden fees, and we were left with an absolutely delicious and beautiful wedding cake!

Francesco's Italian Bakery does not disappoint! Myself & my Sicilian Bride can verify that. We started off with a taste-testing session at their location in Massapequa. Giancarlo was the representative that we spoke to. He was an absolute gentleman and walked us through the package that we were eligible for, gave us a rundown of what to expect, and was great to work with. He brought us a platter of various cakes and toppings, each one more delicious than the last. The actual cake we had at our wedding was SUPERB. What made matters even more convenient was that Francesco's already has a history of conducting business with our wedding venue, the Inn At New Hyde Park. Can't go wrong with these guys.

Our venue included the cake for our wedding from Francesco's, and we are so happy that they did. At our cake tasting, Giancarlo was friendly and professional as he gave us lots of flavors to try along with some coffee as we scrolled through different designs. He listened to what we were looking for in design, and even said that we could order a fresh cake with the same fillings for our 1st anniversary instead of trying to freeze and then eat the top layer of our cake. On the day of the wedding, our cake was just as beautiful as promised. And all our guests commented on how fresh and delicious the cake was -- we had two flavors vanilla with cannoli cream and vanilla with fresh strawberries & cream. Thank you so much!!

We worked with Francesco's bakery because our catering hall, Chateau Briand works with them. We went to pick out our cake a few months prior to the wedding and Giancarlo helped us. He showed us the designs that each cake could possibly have and allowed us to try all of the flavors. We went with the vanilla and strawberry combo! We had our wedding cake, grooms cake and a giant cannoli for the rehearsal all done by Francesco's. It was all fantastic. Giancarlo did a fantastic job making sure everything was exactly as I wanted. I did get a taste of the wedding cake and it was great! All of our guests loved the giant cannoli from the rehearsal dinner as well! I highly recommend them. My only advice is make an appointment to work with Giancarlo. He is super busy, but great to work with!

When I booked my venue, my wedding cake was included in my fee and they provided the bakery already. We were a little nervous because we were not able to choose our own bakery, however once we make an appointment for our tasting, our worries disappeared instantly. The bakery is open late hours, which accommodated me with my job schedule. We met with Giancarlo and while he was getting our samples ready, he allowed us to look though his iPad with 100s of wedding cakes that they have done before. We wrote down the numbers that we liked and once he returned, he looked at the ones that we chose. Giancarlo helped us decide on the look of our wedding cake, which was simple but we wanted real flowers on it, which our florist would have to provide. He gave us some time to try all of the samples, which was the difficult part because all of the flavors were incredible! We decided on strawberries with custard and cannoli and all of our guest RAVED about the taste of the wedding cake. We were so busy taking pictures that we were unable to eat our cake during our wedding. For our one month anniversary, we ordered a 7inch cake with the fillings of our wedding cake. The cake was so delicious that we are going to make it a tradition to order our wedding cake for our anniversaries. Even though we did not choose Francesco's Bakery, we would have chosen them anyway. We HIGHLY recommend them!

Giancarlo is a sweetheart and the cake was both gorgeous and tasty! They offer an anniversary cake for supplying them with a picture of your cake from the day of and gave my mom pastries at no charge at our tasting. I loved both the grooms cake and our wedding cake!

I knew of this place before i found out they are packaged together with my venue(East Wind). Easy appointment set up. gives a number a samples and goes over them twice, helps you with all the details. He even helped us with a gluten free option. so personal and adding in the little details for us so happy. I now go here for cakes and everything ALL the time! :) YUMMY!!!!

Wow! I have never tasted cake as amazing as our wedding cake. I had a certain design in mind and even wanted writing on my cake….Giancarlo ensured that my every wish came true. Not only did the cake taste amazing but it looked incredible!! We ordered Italian cookies and macaroons also and oh my goodness, the macaroons just melted in your mouth. As the first of our friends to get married we are telling them for the future that they must use Francesco’s for their wedding cake. Cake tasted great. Even weeks after the wedding people are talking about how great the cake tasted. This company made the cake exactly as we wanted and even worked with our florist to ensure that the flowers our florist selected were able to be placed on the cake. The cake tasting with smoothly, there were so many choices it was hard to pick. They did not rush us or try to pressure us with one particular flavor or style.

The cake tasting was easy to schedule and during convenient times. The bakery smelled delicious, and I was happy that it still had a family owned, mom-and-pop feel to it. The cake was very moist and the frosting was very good. We don't like fondant and were happy to have the option of buttercream. There were so many different styles and flavor combinations to choose from. In addition to tasting the cakes, there was also a digital album of over 200 cake styles which we could mix and match from to create the cake we wanted.
We chose a 4-tier cake with an ivory buttercream frosting and filigree design, yellow cake with 2 tiers of chocolate pudding filling and 2 tiers of cannoli cream filling. The tiers were alternating square and round. Our wedding cake was beautiful - and delicious!

Originally my cake was going to have fondant. However, it is significantly expensive. I didn't want to spend that much on fondant because people don't eat it. Therefore, I decided to do all butter cream. I was uncertain about the butter cream. Giancarlo reassured me the cake will be tasty and beautiful. I added a little jewel for character and tge design was elegant.

Our wedding cake was delicious and beautiful. We never thought we would get a chocolate wedding cake, but after tasting the Nutella mousse with chocolate cake, we knew it was perfect for us. As part of the wedding package we got a " free cake". We found that it depended on the design. We went to the bakery and had a tasting. Everything was delicious. Giancarlo is so sweet, comforting and professional. He gave us great advice on choosing flavors. They have lots of flavors and are excellent is crafting designs. I wanted to share my experience that I had with Francesco's Bakery. First of all let me say the cake was delish! I have attended many weddings in the past few years and I always remember being disappointed with the cake being too dry. We shared our concerns about the cake to Gian Carlo about what we wanted and he delivered all of his promises. Our cake was absolutely stunning and ridiculously delicious. It was moist and the flavor was outrageous- not to mention how beautiful it was. The tasting was so much fun and Gian Carlo was patient and so helpful. We did the upgrades for the fondant and we negotiated price. I took them a picture of the cake I wanted and it turned out beautiful! They are even giving us a free cake for our 1 year anniversary. We saved the top tier of our cake but they are willing to replicate it for us if we want. They also did the desserts for our Viennese hour. Everyone was talking about how good everything tasted especially the wedding cake. We loved the service that they provided to us. And would recommend them to anyone looking for a bakery.

Francesco's was the cake maker for our wedding at The Fox Hollow. Giancarlo from Francesco's was both professional,knowledgeable, and down to earth. The ipad pictures were super helpful and we loved the cake tasting. The cake came out exactly how we envisioned and tasted delicious. My favorite part was the option to have layers of rainbow cake. Great bakery!

We worked with Giancarlo, and he was great. He provided us with lots of options and ideas, worked with us to make a cake that was perfect- just what we wanted AND it was delicious. We ordered a second small cake to acknowledge a birthday during our reception, and that, too, was delicious.

We would like to thank Francesco's Bakery for our amazing wedding cake!! We would especially like to thank Giancarlo who made our vision for our cake a reality. The cake was everything and more that we hoped for! Giancarlo, thank you for your patience and expertise in helping us to create this cake! The cake was delicious! Thank you for giving us the option to have two different cakes alternating on each tier, we each enjoyed a piece of cannoli and chocolate mousse on our wedding day and both were delicious!!! We cannot thank you enough!!!

Our wedding venue included our wedding cake from Francesco's Italian Bakery. We met with Giancarlo for our cake tasting/selection and he was super nice and professional. He explained everything we needed to know in complete detail and showed us sample images for ideas for our own cake. The cake was RIDICULOUSLY good. We had a hard time deciding what we wanted because literally everything we tasted was amazing. Since we had a pretty extensive dessert spread at our wedding and had alot of chocolate, we went for a 4 tier cake with 2 tiers of vanilla cake with canoli cream filling and 2 tiers of vanilla cake with raspberry custard filling. Both were so delicious. If you are looking for a bakery for your wedding cake, I highly recommend Francesco's.

They were the included bakery for our venue and they were great! Giancarlo is the guy we dealt with at the bakery and he showed us all our options of designs, and flavors. He was opened to suggestions and they delivered a beautiful cake to us in our big day!!

Working with Giancarlo from Francesco's Bakery was a breeze. We scheduled an appointment and went in to taste a bunch of pastries as well as cake options. Everything was so delicious. We would most certainly recommend them to our family and friends and use them in the future. Thank you Giancarlo for making this process seamless!

I was completely in love with my cake from Francesco's! People still talk about it to this day! and it was absolutely delicious! they were extremely helpful and made my very difficult lace design look like it was fabric actually placed on the cake! i couldn't of been happier with it!

Our wedding venue included a cake from Francesco's in our catering package and I was extremely satisfied with our wedding cake!! When we first walked into the bakery for our cake tasting appointment, you could smell the true American-Italian bakery. It was difficult choosing a flavor since they were all so delicious! Also, when it came to choosing a design, Giancarlo was very easy to work with! I was able to provide an image from online and they perfectly replicated it!! My husband and I had a very modern/non-traditional wedding and chose an ombré buttercream cake. It was simple and unique and EXACTLY what we were looking for. We would definitely recommend this bakery and would use them in the future if we need a cake again!!

I had my wedding at Westbury Manor and they are their in house bakery vendor. They are very flexible with customization of your cake for any event. I chose two flavors for my wedding cake: red velvet and vanilla cake with fruit. Everyone complimented on the cake, although i heard from a group of my guests that strangely their cake (vanilla and fruit) tasted and looked different than others. Otherwise they are great to work with.

My cake looked EXACTLY how I wanted it, I couldn't have been happier with it!!! I was nervous because some of the pictures that were shown to me I wasn't enamored by as I wanted something simple, classic, and wintery- I couldn't have been more obsessed with my cake.

Our cake was included in our package with our reception hall and we paid some extra for the fondant upgrade, but I was still a little nervous since we didn't "hand pick" the bakery. Our cake was absolutely stunning and ridiculously delicious. It was moist and the flavor was outrageous- not to mention how beautiful it was. The tasting was so much fun and the woman who helped us (I'm so sorry I can't remember her name!) was patient and so helpful. We LOVED Francesco's!!!!
