We are SO pleased with our experience with Foxlight Studios. From the very beginning, Jacqui and Chris made us feel so comfortable during wedding planning, which can certainly be stressful at times. They answered all of our questions and they were communicative, professional, and kind from start to finish. I never felt as if I was bothering them with an email or another question because of their easygoing nature. We felt cared for from the get-go, and that's all you can ever want when booking a vendor for a wedding. Foxlight understood our vision and how we pictured our wedding day from the photo/video side of things.
Now, onto the wedding day. As soon as Chris arrived, his energy was fantastic. He is funny, easygoing, and friendly. Taking photos and "posing" can be inherently awkward, but not with Chris. He just has this way of putting everyone at ease. I also didn't feel like there was a camera in my face the entire day. I felt like I could enjoy my wedding day without the photos interrupting the flow of things. The photos, in turn, were organic and authentic.
Now, onto the actual photos themselves... they truly stole the show. The photos were natural and captured the essence of the day, which was sentimental, fun, romantic. I look back at the photos and they bring tears to my eyes because Chris's artistry authentically reflects who we are as a couple. Jacqui and Chris took the time to get to know us in the beginning, and that is one of the main reasons why these photos came out so beautifully.
A photographer can take great pictures, but for us, it was really about the personality. You are spending your wedding day with this person. And Chris truly won us over in this respect. We put our trust in him and he delivered.
Thank you to Chris, Jacqui, and Foxlight for being such an integral part of this memorable day. We are forever grateful to you for your artistry, patience, professionalism, kindness, and warmth throughout! -

Diane is my new favorite person! Im obsessed with our photos I can’t wait for the video! Relatively affordable given the prices around New York. It rained on my wedding day but those pictures came out incredible! -

Chris & Jacqui, the owners are absolutely amazing and super cool to work with! They make you feel comfortable and like you’ve known them forever. They were constantly fixing my dress/train to make sure the pictures came out perfect. I had a few sneak previews within days of the wedding! Our first look was at harmony vineyards- beautiful winery in St James but totally takes advantage of wedding photos by charging $950 and not allowing pictures in the vines. Jacqui & Chris insisted on getting pictures in the vines and found an open fence and sneaked us in for a few pictures! -

Booking with Chris and Jaqui was the easiest part of our wedding planning. Our friends have used them for their weddings and we always knew when it was our time, we’d hire them and be in the best hands possible. Believe me when I say, I’d replan our entire wedding and rebook with them every single time. The way they were able to capture us was truly so special and unique to who we are and how we love one another. What we didn’t anticipate what just how blown away we’d be to look at an entire gallery and then try to figure out which ones don’t make it in the album! In just a few weeks we’ll be receiving our wedding videos (we opted for an 4-5 min video trailer as well as an 20 min short) and I truly can not wait to see them. If you’re in the hustle of finding your vendors, don’t make yourself crazy—book with FoxLight and know you made the best decision possible. -

No Regrets!
Foxlight captured the essence of our wedding in such a way, that I will forever be grateful! The wedding photos were beyond phenomenal, but the video left me literally speechless and in tears. They were able to capture the love and energy from that day, and I relive my wedding day every single time I watch that video. I cannot recommend them enough. I was an extremely picky bride; I wanted a particular vision and they delivered and exceeded all of my expectations. If you want quality, professionalism, and a family-oriented touch, go with Foxlight! -

Jacqui and Chris are TRUE masters of their craft. I booked them about a year out from my wedding, and it was the best decision I made.
Jacqui was extremely responsive to us from day one. I knew the moment after speaking with her I'd want them to work our wedding!
They gave us a 3 step payment process, which was helpful for our finances. I checked in multiple times with Jacqui before the wedding to make a good game plan. I was a little nervous about asking her if they could shoot our first look, portraits and then ceremony and reception in 3 separate places, but nothing was unreasonable for Chris and Jacqui!
We had them for our first look at our hotel at the Inn at Fox Hollow, they drove to meet us at Northport Village Park for portraits with our family and bridal party, and then finally they met us at our venue at Whale's Tale to do photos of our room, some outside photos, friends photos, ceremony, cocktail hour, sunset photos and the beginning of our reception!
Chris is a funny and talented photographer and Jacqui posed everyone right and kept us on time. They humored our every weird/quirky request for photos including some very serious portraits of myself and my bridesmaids. They were extremely patient with some of the elderly members of our family. Jacqui even held my purse at the park!
They had sneak peaks of our photos ready in less than a week, here to hold us over until we receive the rest of them!
My only regret is that we didn't find them sooner for our engagement shoot. Jacqui and Chris are best duo ever, we adore them and you will too when you book them for your wedding. Go! Right now! -

Where to begin??? The most important decision that you will make, next to choosing the right partner, is choosing the right photographer/ videographer for your wedding. We interviewed several photographers but my husband and I fell in love with Jacqui from the start. We felt so comfortable with her after our initial meeting. When we met Chris for our engagement shoot, we just knew it was the right choice. Chris made us feel so comfortable and at ease. My husband and I tend to tense up during photos but Chris managed to capture all candid shots because his personality just made us feel so comfortable. Your photographer is with you for your entire wedding day. Choosing Foxlight Studios was the best decision that we made. Bobby and Rich were so amazing as well. We couldn't have asked for a better group. Chris was so professional and the photos came out unbelievable. He has the most amazing personality and you basically wish you had invited him as a guest because he's the best. My husband and I were so pleased with Foxlight. They were so organized, efficient, kind, patient, and just the perfect choice for our special day. I can't say enough kind things about them. I can't over emphasize how important choosing a good photographer is for your big day. If you go with Foxlight, you know you're in great hands. -

Breathtaking
Ever have a vision of your Wedding day and the photos you’ll have for a lifetime? Well emphasize that by 1000 and that’s what Foxlight Studios provides. Their ability to find THE perfect lighting in places that you wouldn’t expect make for a perfect days moments to be captured for us to have for a lifetime. To say we are in absolute awe of the work they provided is an understatement. Besides giving us the most beautiful photos, we found the WHOLE team to be absolutely amazing to deal with. From the most comforting words to help ease the emotions you’re feeling, to helping you plan the whole day’s worth of moments. They’re super professional and they are the best at what they do. -

Choosing Foxlight was the best decision we made!!
Chris and Jacqui from Foxlight studios are absolutely phenomenal!!! Their work is stunning and they went above and beyond to get fantastic shots! Choosing Foxlight was the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. Our friends and family raved that they not only took amazing photos, but that they were also observant and unobtrusive. We have been to weddings where photographers are in your face with bright lights and block the view of the wedding couple during all the important parts of the day. But Chris and Jacqui managed to get all the best photos without ever being in anyone's way! They have an amazing artistic eye for lighting and put us in exactly the right places for the most beautiful sunlit photos. And they also went above and beyond in helping us to sneak out for ridiculously amazing beach sunset photos!! We cannot recommend them enough! Thank you so much, Foxlight Studios!!!! -

My pictures look amazing! I only have sneak peeks but overall my day went smoothly. My team was Chris and Diana - photographers and Bobby - video and Jules - video and overall assistant for the day. They did everything we wanted. They were not intrusive and were able to capture everything. I am so happy I chose them! Highly recommend to any and all future brides :) -

If you've come across Foxlight in your search for a wedding photographer, then you can stop now, setup an appointment, and prepare to book them! The photos you'll receive will take your breath away; between the engagement shoot and wedding photos, there were so many beautiful pictures that it was difficult to pick just a few for our save the dates, album, etc. To make Foxlight even better, Chris and Jacqui are two people you'll want by your side on your wedding day! They both make the awkwardness of being photographed so much fun and easygoing, they wont overly pose you or critique...they'll encourage you to have fun with it and make it enjoyable rather than stressful. Not only are they laid back and fun, but they're so organized and attentive! We had a winter wedding and I desperately wanted it to snow, I obviously cant control the weather BUT it SNOWED! We never wouldve known it if it wasn't for Chris coming to us and going "guys, its flurrying...let's get some photos!". It was such a simple thing I said and they remembered, my husband and I were both so happy!
After the wedding, we were so pleasantly surprised when we received over 25 pictures within 5 days! It was a perfect little teaser for what was coming. We are still attempting to narrow down our 200 favorite photos to 80 for our album! So really, look no further, Foxlight is unbeatable! -

Amazing Team & Breathtaking Photos. Highly Recommend!
Hands down one of the best decisions my husband and I made while planning our wedding was hiring Foxlight Studios for photo and video. The entire team is extremely talented, creative, and professional, and it’s clear that they have a passion for what they do. On the day of our wedding, Chris and Andre were our two photographers, and Sam was our videographer. The moment they arrived I felt so relaxed and knew they had everything under control. They’re the most genuine, down-to-earth people in the world and we honestly had the BEST time hanging out with them all day which is something that’s truly invaluable. The photos themselves came out absolutely breathtaking, and I’ve been told multiple times by friends and family that they’ve never seen such stunning wedding pictures. (We’re honestly going to have a tough time choosing which ones to frame because there isn’t a single bad shot). Chris has such an incredible eye for choosing gorgeous locations and perfect lighting to make each photo feel magazine-worthy. He even emailed me a few days prior to the wedding to recommend we move the time up for our beach photos in order to get the best lighting possible and I’m SO glad he did because they came out flawless. That type of attention-to-detail combined with the team’s artistic mindset is what sets Foxlight Studios apart from every other photographer out there. They made it feel so effortless for my husband and I by never asking us to pose awkwardly or do anything tacky. Instead, every moment they captured was real, authentic, and showcased who we are as a couple, and it’s evident in every single shot that we were having the best day of our lives. After our wedding, we decided to add on a trailer from our videographer and it was the best decision we could have made. They somehow managed to create a 5-minute video that seamlessly sums up every important moment from our day, and being able to relieve it over and over again is truly priceless. Nicolette Sent on 10/11/2018I don’t even know where to begin with how AMAZING Foxlight Studios is! I knew I was in great hands as soon as Jackie & Chris took our engagement photos! They are so personable and outgoing we knew they would make our wedding day amazing! We also used Foxlight for video and they were both equally amazing! we had Sam for video, he was also personable and outgoing and very easy to work with. The morning of our wedding day I had Chris while my husband had Jackie and we both felt pictures went so easy. I had some picture requests for Chris and he did his thing and captured what I asked for ! Our bridal party equally loved them and was cracking jokes all day with them ! I cannot rave more about how BEAUTIFUL our pictures came out. All of them are so breathtaking I don’t know how we are going to choose and create an album. I have recommended them to every single friend I have getting married because I know they won’t be disappointed. Chris and Jackie are awesome people who I can truly call my friends ! They made our wedding day SO special and now we have the most beautiful pictures to remind us of our day forever.
P.S listen to your photographer when they recommend a spot for your first look/ photos, they are the professionals and know best. I’m so happy I listened and took my photos at Harmony Vineyards! -
