A Beautiful Venue and Experience!

I would highly suggest anyone to look at Foxhall for your special day! My sister got married here and it was one of the most spectacular weddings and overall weekends. First off, there are SO many activities - your guests may want to stay the entire week. Secondly, every single venue is breathtaking on this property. We have the most special photos with the family. And finally, the staff is amazing. Southern charm and comfort!

Magical Wedding

My Dream Wedding!

From the breathtaking views, gorgeous venues, and beautiful accommodations to the amazing and accommodating staff, Foxhall created the perfect backdrop for my dream wedding. Although COVID altered our plans, Foxhall couldn't have been more accommodating and flexible with our plans and arrangements. Their top priority was our safety and the safety of our guests, but they also worked with us to make sure we could still have a modified version of our original wedding that turned out to be a DREAM! Thank you to the entire staff for making these memories with us - especially Lollie!!

Amazing venue great value

I was a bride who went through over 15 different venues in Atlanta, Tennessee, North Carolina before I found Foxhall Resort, our dream venue!! The grounds are simply incredible and we fell in love with everything the second we drove onto the property! Deniese was our coordinator and she was so helpful and easy to work with from beginning to end!! I cannot give glowing enough of a review for this venue and Deniese and all the staff who work behind the scenes. Both of our families and bridal parties many of whom flyed from other cities of U.S. and even overseas, stayed on property for the weekend- It is simply the best experience we could ever ask for for our guests! The lodges are amazingly cozy, private and luxurious at the same time, there are a lot of day-time activities on site for my guests to enjoy, the staff were super attentive to the needs of our guests. We cannot thank Foxhall enough for making our wedding weekend so PERFECT and SPECIAL!! :) If you’re considering getting married here—do it! You will not regret it!!

Amazing once in a lifetime event

We knew Foxhall was the one the moment we did our venue tour! Hannah worked with us every step of the way to make sure everything was beyond perfect. Even when we had to go with our backup rain plan it actually turned out even better than we ever envisioned ourselves. Our guests can’t stop complimenting Foxhall either. The lodging is top of the line and all of our guests were amazed and felt like they were on vacation too. Best decision we made!

Stunning Venue

We chose the Stables for our Wedding. It was amazing. The staff was great throughout the planning process as well as the day of the wedding. I am very happy with the service and that we chose the Foxhall for our wedding.

Beautiful Property, and Amazing Team!

We were looking for a venue convenient to Atlanta, but that felt a little different. Foxhall was the first and only venue we toured. The property is absolutely beautiful, as are the venues themselves (which was important to us since we wanted a winter wedding). We were married at the Stables and loved the open ballrooms and style. It almost felt like we were in a smaller city like Charlottesville rather than just 30 minutes outside Atlanta! Deniese went above and beyond to answer questions and accommodate our preferences- we could not be happier with our experience! Highly, highly recommend!

AMAZING! Property and staff were amazing!

Foxhall Resort was our dream location, we fell in love with everything about it the second we drove onto the property! Deniese was AMAZING to work with!! She was so honest, helpful and willing to work with us through everything! She was very organized and on top of everything! We stayed on property for the weekend- we had our rehearsal dinner at the Paddock (which was amazing!) and our wedding was at Legacy Lookout! Everything was PERFECT and the staff was INCREDIBLE! We cannot thank Foxhall enough for everything and making our weekend so PERFECT!! :)

I knew when I looked at the pictures of Foxhall that we would love it as our wedding venue! It definitely does not feel like it is 20 minutes from Atlanta! We felt like we were out in the country-side with all of our family and friends. We had our rehearsal dinner at the polo pavilion which turned out perfectly. There is only one restaurant at this time on site but it is so delicious! They accommodated all of our guests during the entire weekend for all meals. We used the stables for our ceremony and reception. I did not want to stress about the weather so we did the ceremony inside one side of the stables and the reception was already set on the other side. The stables are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! They are completely re-done and in perfect condition. The bridal suite above the stables was very large and perfect for our big group of girls to get ready in. We had the cocktail hour outside on the lawn/side of the stables near the lake which was perfect. The bar on the reception side is absolutely beautiful! We had about 140 guests and fit them perfectly in there with a dance floor and DJ table. They flipped the ceremony side QUICKLY after the ceremony to put the dinner stations there. The entire Foxhall staff was so nice and even greeted us with champagne as soon as my husband and I checked in! We rented the large Cypress house for the entire bridal party to stay in. There were about 18 people total in the house and we had plenty of room and privacy for everyone! Most of our guests stayed in the villas or cottages and said they were perfect and spacious. This venue is slightly on the pricier side, but worth every penny in my opinion. Douglasville is not too far (about 20 minutes) down the road if you needed to run out and get anything. The guys went for a quail hunt and did the shooting clays a few days before and loved it! We will definitely be back to visit! I would highly recommend Foxhall as a wedding or event venue!

Thank you to Foxhall for creating the most magical weekend! Not only is the property a flawless backdrop for our wedding pictures, but the staff could not have been more accommodating. They went out of their way during our wedding weekend to make sure every last detail was perfect. We had our family and wedding party stay on property in the homes and villas and everybody LOVED it. The groomsmen went shooting on Friday, while the bridesmaids hung by the pool. Our families went horseback riding - there was something for everyone to do! We highly recommend Foxhall - 5 stars! We look forward to coming back and making more memories each year!

We chose The Stables at Foxhall Resort for our wedding ceremony and reception and we couldn't be happier! The scenery is picturesque and we felt like we were the only ones on the property even though there were other weddings. Brooke Tolleson, Kristin Rigby and Deniese Minear were always helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. We stayed on the property for the whole weekend in two houses - The Cypress Lodge and Oriole Lodge. We loved having access to the amenities, such as the lake and the pool. We had a fabulous weekend and our wedding day was perfect. Thank you, Foxhall!

This. Is a lovely venue. We chose Legacy Lookout and it was literally the only venue we ever looked at. We walked in and immediately fell in love with it. The main space accommodated our 215 guests without any problem. The outdoor cocktail hour even in December was wonderful. The staff at Foxhall was very easy to work with and the venue has recently all been remodeled. The view is spectacular and this is just little bit of heaven only a half hour south of Atlanta. I highly recommend this location to anyone wanting an elegant wedding. The recommendations for vendors also made this an easy process. We picked every one from the list provided to us and every one of them was FANTASTIC!! Peacock Video and Photography, Wrennwood Design for day of coordination and also our florist and Simply Catering for the food was a clean sweep of wonderful!! And for our DJ we used Black Tie Events. We never met them until the day of the wedding and they created exactly the fun atmosphere we wanted. Our Thanks to All for memories that will last a lifetime!!

We looked at so many venue's and never got the right amount of luxury with a little barn feel till the day we stepped not Foxhall and walked into the Stables! We met with Brooke and she was absolutely amazing. Her smile and genuine interest in the couple is evident fro the very first conversation. They have preferred vendors and we felt they had a great mixture of fancy to froufrou to great southern flair. The lodges on property are to die for and accommodated all the wedding party in one and the families in the other and the bride and groom for the night of the wedding. It was the most spectacular wedding. Way more than we dreamed. The picturesque setting of the farm and the color of the tress were just an extra bonus! We found out our wedding planner was actually involved in helping the Stables become a top notch wedding venue. The owner took the time to ask other wedding planners what it would need to rival a place like Ritz Carlton of Reynolds Plantation, and from my perspective they did it.

The following day after the wedding we had a wonderful brunch at the Paddock and it was to die for, with pumpkin waffles and chicken, mimosas, sausage gravy and biscuits and eggs Benedict.

Every one at the wedding kept saying WOW this is beautiful, stunning, classic, elegant, all words we wanted when our wedding would be described. I can't thank the staff, Brooke, Deniese and the general manager, Keith for all the hard work in giving us a dream wedding! Seriously a magazine needs to publish the wedding and details as it was just that perfect.

Legacy Lookout is a stunning venue in the fall! Our guests were literally swooning at the backdrop to our daughter and son in law's October 29 ceremony! The venue and everyone we worked with at Foxhall was first class and we would not hesitate to recommend a Foxhall wedding to anyone!

We found Foxhall to be the perfect vendor for our daughter's wedding ceremony and reception. The facilities are excellent--we hired both a Groom's Cabin and the Stables, which was a beautiful and impressive venue that created the perfect day. From beginning to end the staff provided excellent ideas, vendor suggestions, responsiveness and support--we can't thank them enough. The whole experience was perfect from beginning to end.

Foxhall is the most amazing venue we could've ever asked for! Our original venue closed 5 months before our wedding day. In a panic, we looked at all available venues on our date and by the Grace of God, Foxhall had an opening. We explained our panic and they came right in and saved the day! Everything was organized and ready for our big day within a few short meetings with our Event Planner and Property Manager. Our wedding ceremony and reception took place at Legacy Lookout, which I recommend to all brides looking for a venue. It is the most beautiful venue to remember your special day!

We are getting married next September at Legacy Lookout at Foxhall Resort & Sporting Club! We originally looked at the beach as a wedding venue, but fell in love with Foxhall and decided to get married there instead. The property and venues are absolutely stunning and the staff could not have been more helpful.

We live in NYC so we only had one day to visit the property. We already booked the resort for the full weekend for all our wedding events and the Foxhall staff even helped us find our vendors!

We are having a Thursday night welcome party at Grand Pavillion, Friday night rehearsal dinner at the stables, and Saturday ceremony and reception at Legacy Lookout.

We would HIGHLY recommend this venue!!

My husband and I had the most magical wedding at Foxhall Legacy on Oct. 3, 2015. We toured the venue in early March and looked no further. It was our first and last stop. The facilities and land at Foxhall are breathtaking and make a perfect backdrop for your pictures. Brooke and Deniese were wonderful to work with, as well as all of the day of facility workers. I have no complaints, it was perfect despite some unfortunate rain. With the rainy forecast the Foxhall staff had to work overtime to quickly flip the venue, and they did a wonderful job. The glass backdrop of Legacy for the ceremony turned out to be beautiful, and the ceremony was quickly set up in order for us to get the party started. We used the Foxhall beverage service and our guests raved about the bartenders. They were attentative and so much fun! Thank you Foxhall for making our wedding day a huge success! We can’t wait to come back and visit .

I got married on 10/10/15 and could not have asked for a more magical day, thanks to Brooke and her team at Foxhall. All of the staff was so accommodating and answered any and all questions we had. They even introduced us to other vendors that we ended up using (caterer, florist, decor, etc). We had an amazing experience with this team and wish we could go back and do it again! :)

If you're looking for a venue with the most breath taking views & the most professional staff then Foxhall is the place to be! It was the first & last venue I toured when looking for a place to host our wedding! As soon as I entered the property I was in complete awe of its beauty & I knew this was the place I had to get married!

Throughout the whole booking/planning process I had the pleasure of working with Kristin Rigby, she was such a pleasure to work with & was so eager to answer any questions or concerns we may have had.

On the day of our wedding I was introduced to Caleb, the event manager. He was also wonderful! He made sure everything was as should be with the layout & that we were completely satisfied with everything.

Thank you to Foxhall for having such beautiful property & a wonderful staff! Our wedding was the best day ever!

Foxhall was so perfect. We used the Grand Pavilion for our wedding ceremony and reception and it was absolutely gorgeous. Kristin is the sweetest person ever and she was so incredibly patient and helpful. So was Deneise!

The day of our wedding there were other workers there that weren't as pleasant or accommodating and my vendors weren't completely thrilled with the customer service but all around I still give Foxhall 5 stars because the 6 months I had to plan my wedding went by like a breeze thanks to their unbelievable flexibility and superb customer service.

I've already recommended them to 2 friends!

Thank you Foxhall for making my wedding as beautiful and romantic as I'd dreamed it to be.

Foxhall Resort is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. We used the Grand Pavilion for our rehearsal dinner, rented both homes for the bridal parties to stay in, and were married at Legacy Lookout! It was like having a destination wedding without leaving Georgia. There were so many fun activities to do to keep everyone occupied during the weekend. They have a pool that we were able to take my sisters children to during the day, and golf cart rentals to ride them around in. The groomsmen went on a clay shoot the day of the wedding and absolutely loved it! We didn't get to do the kayaking and fishing, but everyone talks constantly about renting the homes for a weekend in order to be able to enjoy a relaxing and fun weekend close to home, but with the feel of a far away vacation destination. One of the things we liked about Foxhall was that we had the option to use outside vendors instead of having to purchase a pricey food and alcohol package through the vendor like most other places we looked at. The venue rate is more expensive than some places, but it evens out with how much money you can save by using outside vendors. Their preferred vendor list is amazing! The staff at Foxhall is extremely helpful and cooperative. Brooke will be your initial contact. She does the tours and booking. I am a person with a million questions at all times, and Brooke was extremely patient and happily answered all of my questions! Deniese was my event coordinator. She handled my walkthrough of the venue the month before, and helped me make the decisions of how to arrange tables, buffet lines, etc. Everything at Foxhall was very well organized. The entire weekend there ran so smoothly. We had roughly 200 guests. Even with a 6 piece band, 2 bars, and 2 buffet lines the building didn't feel crowded. Good Luck to all of the future Foxhall Brides! You won't regret choosing Foxhall.

As a bride, you have an ongoing relationship with the staff of your chosen venue from the day you sign a contract to the end of your wedding reception. That being said, finding a staff as professional, customer-oriented, and personable as Foxhall was not only vital, but it also provided me with a stress-free engagement and wedding day! The staff, particularly Kristin Rigby, went above and beyond every time we conversed-- happily answering my many questions and never making me feel like an inconvenience. They even stayed after-hours when I wanted to come see the venue but could not get there before closing! Even further, the day of the wedding, Foxhall provided me with a day-off coordinator for FREE and ensured that Foxhall provided all of its promised accommodations. She could not have been friendlier or more helpful. If you are a bride that is looking for the full package--hospitality, professionalism, and an absolutely beautiful venue--look no further!

I took my bridal party to visit Foxhall Resort this past Saturday. It was absolutely amazing!!! Kristin gave us a very thorough tour and answered all of our questions. The site is beautiful although it is a little far off. The price for the venue isn't bad as you pay to rent the facility for 14 hours which is amazing!!! This is definitely one of my top 2 places!!!

Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club was the very first venue we visited when we were shopping for our wedding venue. We were sold as soon as we pulled in. The grounds are just beautiful! We choose Legacy Lookout because we loved being able to see everything from the top of the hill, not to mention the venue itself is just stunning. Brook and the rest of the wedding staff at Foxhall did a great job of keeping me informed and were willing to go back and fourth with our contract to make sure all our additions (groomsmen cabin, arbor, etc.) were included. On the day of our wedding, the venue was perfect! The boys went shooting while the girls were getting ready in the beautiful bridal suite. They just LOVED that! Although we planned for an outside ceremony on the back lawn, the threat of rain made us set up inside instead. Actually, I am very happy with the arrangements. I think it might have turned out better this way, haha! The staff worked very quickly to get everything flipped after the ceremony and I don't think guests would have ever known it wasn't the original plan. We had a great time and a beautiful wedding! A month later, people are still gushing about how beautiful it all was. Highly recommend!

Foxhall was perfect! Having our wedding in early/mid April (and worrying about "April Showers" I had no panic. The Foxhall staff put me at ease and they had everything planned for me that I asked, while they let me take control of what I wanted. If I had to do it all over again, I'd choose Foxhall 100 times again!

This was the PERFECT venue from start to finish!! The staff, especially Brooke and Brent, were SO wonderful to work with. The professionalism, courtesy, and competency of everyone at Foxhall are well above par!! I HIGHLY recommend Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club to all brides for the most beautiful venue with the most amazing staff...
My amount spent was for venue, a cabin for the guys to have the day of ceremony, and a guided clay shoot for the groom and his groomsmen that morning! (10 guys total)

My husband and I got married at Fox Hall on November 1, 2014 at The Stables. Our experience was phenomenal from our first visit to the departure at our wedding! I highly recommend Fox Hall! Everyone was the utmost professional and accommodating. You have been a delight of course all the way through and Whitt was a gem - so flexible and helpful at every turn. Brad and Hannah were wonderful the evening of and so instrumental in getting things wrapped up at the end of the night.
We even had the ground's crew moving and drying off chairs once we made the decision to move the ceremony inside!
It was just a perfect night and we thank you for offering such an incredible venue and team to make all the efforts come together in the most majestic, fantastic way!

While I was engaged, my mother and I drove past Foxhall Resort & Sporting Club. I recognized the name from a list of venues on WeddingWire, and my father and I visited the venue sometime later. I knew from the moment I entered the gates this was the place I wanted to be married! Foxhall accommodated the amount of guests we hoped to invite and it was near both my hometown and my fiance's hometown. My fiance was not even present at the initial visit, but he absolutely loved it just as I much as I did! Throughout the entire planning process, Brooke was an absolute pleasure to work with! We were given a list of preferred vendors, of which we booked our caterer and florist! Our overall experience with Foxhall was fantastic, and we continue to receive compliments on our wedding!

Y'all this place is MAGICAL! I couldn't have asked for a better location for my wedding. What a beautiful place to say "I DO". It was love at first sight. My husband and I worked with Brooke and she was wonderful! She made the entire process easy and flawless. We also rented the gorgeous Cypress home for the entire wedding party for the rehearsal and night of the wedding. What a wonderful way to spend your wedding weekend. We had all day for photography, getting pampered, and of course mimosas. We had full range of all 1,100 acres for photo opportunities and activities. My husband took his groomsmen to the skeet shooting course while myself and my bridesmaids were getting pampered back at the house.

Our venue location was legacy lookout. What a view! Our guests RAVED about how gorgeous the property and facility was. I just can't say enough about Foxhall and all of the people that work there. Do yourself a favor and go. Make it your first stop and save yourself some time. Its a once in a lifetime experience!

With four appointments confirmed to visit wedding venues, Foxhall was the second place we visited. As we drove away, we knew that we would be cancelling our last two appointments. Simply put, Foxhall is AMAZING. Our daughter’s wedding was at Legacy Lookout, an idyllic spot on a hill with its lawn overlooking a scenic view of a river in the distance and a lake close by. Our guests immediately fell in love with it, as we had, and so many people asked “How did you find this place?”

To go with the wonderful setting, there is a fabulous team who works with you. From the first visit, we loved working with Brooke, who is not only warm and makes you feel like family, but is very responsive to all questions and needs. We also enjoyed everyone in the office we met. From a facilities standpoint, Brent and his team did a great job meeting with us prior to the wedding to confirm the exact setup we wanted. On the day of the wedding, they executed their part perfectly, while helping with whatever we needed.

In short, we can’t recommend Foxhall highly enough. Do yourself a favor and go to Foxhall first!

Foxhall staff and the venue Legacy Lookout was amazing! Foxhall's staff was very supportive and helpful with all the aspects of my wedding. This venue was stunning and my guests raved about it. I was so happy indoor/outdoor options were available to me, as it rained on my wedding day. I loved working with Brooke and her team at Foxhall. They were very helpful, engaged, and an overall pleasure as we planned our wedding in four months! While I think most venues would have given us a hard time, Foxhall was very flexible in finding a date and time that would work for all us. Their list of preferred vendors included quality companies that helped make our wedding day spectacular. Plus, my guests just raved about how beautiful the place is. I wouldn't have wanted my reception at any other place!

Foxhall was like the took my dream venue and built exactly what I wanted. I cannot say enough great things about the staff. Brooke, sales manager, was wonderful and responsive and Brent, event manager, was very professional and thoughtful. I am so pleased to have used them as our reception location.

Foxhall (Legacy Lookout) was one of those venues that we saw and simply put: our jaws dropped. Suddenly, I could imagine everything from the ceremony to the reception and everything clicked. It was a dream venue and Brooke and her team made sure that we had all the little details handled so we didn't worry about a thing. Doing our ceremony and our wedding at the same location was easy on us and our guests, but the Legacy Lookout is so versatile that people didn't feel like they were in the same place all night. It was worth every penny!

Foxhall is such a beautiful venue and their staff was very accommodating and helpful. Both Brooke and Brent went out of their way to make our day perfect. We had our rehearsal dinner and wedding at the location and we also rented a house on the grounds for the bridal party and I wouldn't change a thing.

Foxhall, and specifically the Polo Pavillion and Lawn served as the site for our wedding that took place on May 11th, 2013. The entire process of working with Foxhall was a joy from the beginning. We booked our event nearly a year and a half in advance and yet even this early, Foxhall was more than willing to help answer any questions we had. This continued as we got closer to the big day and the communication and relationship only got better. Our primary contact and event coordinator at Foxhall was Brent Heckler and we can say without reservation that he gave 110% to make sure our wedding day was everything we wanted it to be. From the meeting with our caterer before the wedding, Brent was in constant communication with us. Brent went well above and beyond, providing us with extra chairs, tables, and helping us work with each of our vendors in order to provide a seamless day. On the day of the wedding, we were permitted to roam the entire property with our photographers and really take advantage of all the beautiful vistas that Foxhall has to offer. The day also featured a bit of rain which turned out to barely cause any issues at all because of the great work of Brent and the staff at Foxhall. We were given minute by minute weather updates letting us know when the rain would pass us. The moment it did, Foxhall’s staff was out there with towels wiping down our chairs and making sure we could proceed with as little delay as possible. The rest of the night was a dream with us not having to worry about anything other than having a great time. I know there must have been other items to take care of throughout the evening but Brent made sure that those were the last things we had to worry about. We would like to thank Foxhall for the incredible work they put in and truly helping us create a perfect wedding day!

My wedding at Foxhall was a dream. I had to change the ceremony to inside the morning of and they executed everything flawlessly as we had discussed. Hannah was my point of contact at Foxhall through the process and she's an absolute gem to work with. I used Foxhall's chef at The Paddock as our catering and it was delicious. My parents were absolutely thrilled and so were all our guests. We stayed on site at the Cypress lodge the weekend of which made everything even more convenient. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a chic, simple rustic elegance as their wedding backdrop.

We got married this past December at Foxhall and so enjoyed every bit of it! They staff at Foxhall is so acccomodating. We had our ceremony and reception at The Stables. We were so worried about our large guest count, and Hannah and her team went out of their way to make sure everything went so smoothly! The Stables venue at Foxhall Resort is beautiful and it provided the perfect backdrop for my daughter's wedding vision. Exposed beams, wood floors, ease of flow from ceremony, cocktails to reception! Hannah Freeze and all the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. With out of town guests, they were able to stay on site in the beautifully furnished amenities and as a family we rented the Oriole house as home base for the festivities. Deniese is AMAZING. Every question I ask she responds to quickly - even when she's on vacation. She speaks to the owner about anything I ask and tries to accommodate. She's very polite if there is anything she cannot accommodate - this customer service is incredible. I haven't found this at any other venue. They don't treat brides like bridezillas!

If you are looking for a beautiful venue Foxhall is it! We used Legacy Lookout for our wedding. We loved the beautiful overlook setting for the ceremony, wrap around patio, fireplace and the big ballroom for the reception. We used the bridal suite and the grooms cabin! They are willing to work with you if any issues come up and are very responsive in getting back to you via email or phone. We had a great experience with working with everyone!

I recently had my wedding at the stables, and it was absolutely beautiful. The lighting in the whole venue is so bright and pure with the multitude of windows and glass doors. Outside is filled with greenery and acres of land. The whole resort is absolutely wonderful, and we had so many comments on how beautiful it is. The bridal room is also filled with that wonderful natural light to make getting ready and bridal portraits to die for. One of the perks of this property is the amenities. We were able to stay on property with our whole wedding party Friday-Sunday! We play yard games, went swimming, and the guys got to do skeet shooting the morning of the wedding as well. There are so many other options as well that we didn't have the time to experience. The staff is accommodating at this venue, and even with hiccups along the way, they made sure to smooth everything out, and to make everything perfect. There wasn't a bump in the road on the day of and we could not have been happier.

We got married at Foxhall's Legacy Lookout on November 7, 2015. They have six venue options, but we went with Legacy for the beautiful view it offers. When we first toured the venue, my husband and I walked out on to the lawn overlooking the entire resort and told me, "This is it." Unfortunately due to freak of nature rain in November, we had to have our ceremony inside instead of the lawn with the breathtaking view! However everyone worked to make it so beautiful inside that I think it actually was more magical and romantic than it would have been if we were outside! I worked with Kristin & Deniese and they were both wonderful in helping whenever I had questions (which was often). We also rented the larger house on site, Cypress, for our bridal party the entire weekend. It was so nice to have a house to stay in as opposed to a hotel room, plus the house is gorgeous!

One piece of advice, until they break ground on the additional accommodations and hotel on site, I'd recommend getting a shuttle for your guests if most of them are coming from the city and will be enjoying some cocktails. It's a good bit of a drive and those back roads are DARK.

Overall, our wedding was magical and the venue really made it. All we heard all night was people going on and on about how beautiful the venue was! I would choose Foxhall's Legacy again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I didn't have the typical wedding situation. Her mother had been battling cancer for a long time. Our original date was September 19. As my mother in laws health began to decline more rapidly that expected I reached out to Kristin Rigby. With her help we easily moved our wedding to the 18th of July. Working with Kristin and our other vendors everyone was exceptional in helping us achieve our goal of having a beautiful wedding where my wife's mother would be witness to the occasion. Thanks to Lorie Bomar and Atlantas Finest catering. Clayton Brannon Photography and our videographer we had the wedding my wife had dreamed of. On just 19th we flew to our honeymoon and returned the 27th of July to a nightmare. My wife's mother had made it to our wedding and after achieving and fighting so hard to see her baby girl married she had given her last fight. She past away a week later on August 3rd, which was her 30th wedding anniversary with her husband, my father in law. We were blessed to have such a beautiful wedding and blessed to be with her mother as we took our first dance, as we said our vows and as we placed the rings on our hands. We will forever be grateful for the kindness and hospitality our venue and vendors showed us. Forever grateful.

A wonderful experience!

My husband and I really enjoyed working with Hannah Freeze and Foxhall. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. I think it's a bit on the pricier side, but there are certain luxuries that come with the venue that I do not believe you'd have at other venues. Everyone got to stay on property, not worry about driving and parking, and just enjoy the weekend together. Hannah was super helpful and always found the answer we needed. Her other team members (Marty!) were also great to work with. They went out of their way to ensure that we had what we needed on wedding day. I'd definitely recommend Foxhall and Hannah to others. Everyone talked about how gorgeous our venue was! Thank you for a fabulous wedding weekend, Foxhall!

We worked with Brooke and had our wedding at the Stables. Everything was great. They ended up providing even more than expected! Between the time that we reserved and the day of our wedding, they purchased Chiavari chairs, draping for the ceiling in the main ballroom, and three beautiful farm tables that we could use however we wanted. When we started we were also concerned about extra charges for certain photo ops, a bonfire, and using sparklers, but they couldn't have been nicer and it all worked out for us without extra charges. This venue was a reach for us, but I can't imagine having my wedding anywhere so beautiful. The outdoor ceremony location, separate cocktail hour location, and indoor reception (plus a backup indoor ceremony location that took all the stress of our planning), were perfect. I can't wait to go back to Foxhall to celebrate our anniversaries.

We held the rehearsal dinner, the wedding and reception at Foxhall, and included lodgings for close friends and family as well as a wedding day sporting clay shoot. The staff was terrific - friendly and on time, as well as attentive to our needs - and the lodging, dinner and ceremony venues were beautiful and comfortable for our guests. We could not have asked for more. We wanted a high end luxurious but restful and nature-filled weekend and we got exactly what we paid for. We highly recommend Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club for any special occasion.

This venue is absolutely gorgeous! This was the first of 5 venues we visited in the metro Atlanta area and none of the others compared. Keep in mind that the only things included with the price is the venue space and tables/chairs (and of course alcohol due to their new alcohol packages). Although it is pricey, it is so worth the money! Views are breathtaking, my wedding was at Legacy Lookout and not the Stables which is also gorgeous but the view is not as good! Kristen, the sales manager, was great to work with and super responsive. Caleb, our event manager, was also very friendly and helpful. Deniese, our event coordinator, was accomodating and responsive. Additional things to note: Foxhall was cool with us having a firetruck, mariachi, and our dogs there! Couldn't have asked for better!

Recommendations:
- Resort policies should be relaxed to accommodate the acceptance of supplies and services from vendors.
- Since two lodges were rented on site, large signs should be designed to guide customers to lodges. It was very difficult to located lodges due to the lack of signage.
- In the Oriole LodgeLoft, the thermostat was permanently set on 62 degress and not reset for the customer adjustments.

It was great working with Brooke, Brent and their staff at Foxhall. Legacy Lookout proved to be a gorgeous venue! The staff was more than accommodating and made sure they paid close attention to all detail. Prior to the event, Brooke and Brent were very responsive to all emails, which certainly aided in smooth planning with the bride. I look forward to the opportunity to work with them again!

My husband and I got married at the Stables with a wedding size of about 180. The venue is great if you want to keep everything in one area. The reception hall and ceremony hall are all in one building. It rained on our wedding day but, we didn't even notice because we never had to go outside. Plus, there are awnings over the sides so we could still take pictures outside with the beautiful barn doors in the background. The venue is rather expensive but, we were able to get a pretty good deal by getting married during their off season. Be prepared to pay extra for a beverage package even if you want teas and sodas rather than alcohol. There are several extras that push the price up but they were very helpful during the walk through and on the actual day. My wedding planner said they were very easy to work with on the day of! They were very accommodating and prepared everything perfectly!

Foxhall is an absolutely stunning location with several different venues on site. Each venue comes with a different price point so it is possible to work within your budget. Foxhall offers payment plans so you don't have to pay 100% of the venue cost all at once.
The staff is responsive and very helpful. Just be aware of the additional fees that can add up quickly. For example, if you don't pick a caterer off their approved list, you'll have to pay a fee to use your own. I didn't like any of their caterers so I chose my own and the extra charge was worth it.
We're two months away from our wedding and we're very excited!!

I had to switch venues 4 days before my wedding because of some construction issues at my other venue. Luckily, Fox Hall was available the weekend of my wedding, and it turned out to be a beautiful space. It has big windows and double doors that open up that makes it feel like an out door space while having the conveniences of being inside (AC and a roof). They were incredibly accommodating given the short amount of time we had to prior to the wedding to make everything work. They made themselves available for my mom and florist to see the space, and then my fiance and I to see it on another day as we lived 3 hours away and couldn't make it until the Friday before our Sunday wedding. They took the time to show us around the grounds to see the ceremony space, the reception space, and where we would be getting ready before hand. It's a really neat place that offers many different activities. My husband was able to go skeet shooting before the wedding, which was a great way to ease his nerves. The one thing I didn't like about the reception space (Grand Pavilion) was that it was two smaller rooms connected by a bar rather than being one big room. So the band and the dance floor were in one room and all the tables were in another room. I would have rather had one big room, but they really did make it work pretty well.

Foxhall was a beautiful venue. Brooke, the sales coordinator, was so helpful and so was the venue coordiantor, Brent. It was very expensive as we booked both Legacy and Grand Pavilion (for the rehearsal dinner). I also rated them a little lower because we were orginally told that we could use the Sports Lawn for our rehearsal dinner with the rental of the Grand Pavilion and then were told that they actually promised it to someone else after we had already put money down for Grand Pavilion. Other than that we had a great wedding and a great experience.

We chose Foxhall because the venue and the views are breathtaking! It fit our personalities and was perfect for our wedding day. Deniese was a pleasure to work with and was extremely responsive! My only suggestion would be to improve signage on the property; several guests got lost trying to find the villas and lodges. In addition, the girls working at the front weren't able to provide good directions (one explicitly said she didn't know her left from right). Lastly, I heard from several of my guests after the wedding that they had to be moved from one villa to another because the AC was not working which is not exactly what you want to hear after they have traveled a great distance to be there. To Foxhall's credit, my guests were compensated for the inconvenience which was much appreciated. Despite these minor hitches, I would still recommend Foxhall to future brides!

Foxhall is insanely GORGEOUS! It is seriously breathtaking. I had appointments at 4 other venue sites and Foxhall was the first one I visited. I canceled all of my other appointments as soon as I stepped foot on the property. It has this sudden ambiance about it where you do not feel like you are even in the state of Georgia. All of my guests were so impressed and wanted to know how I found such a beautiful venue.

The only drawbacks of the venue was the staff. Being a fairly new venue they still had a lot of kinks to work out with how they conduct business. Throughout the planning process there were numerous problems with contracts, dates, promises, etc. that Foxhall had trouble confirming or following through with. I really had to stand my ground on a lot of things. Make sure you get everything in writing. I also felt like I was being "nickled and dimed" way too much. With the amount of money we paid to rent our Legacy Lookout there were a lot of little things they charged us that seemed unneccesary. For example, they wanted $200 to build a fire in the fireplace. I feel like that should have been included in the rental of the lodge. They offered to have a horse available for our engagement pictures and wedding photographs, but then they wanted to charge us $200 for that as well. Any little thing they could get away with charging they did, which I feel was tacky. We were WAY more happy and satisfied with the event director on the property that we worked with compared to the sales executive that handled all the contracts.

Beautiful Venue, Poor Follow Through

I had my wedding at Foxhall Resort in August. It is a beautiful venue with lots of space and provides a quaint, Southern style. My husband and I wanted something different from the traditional ballroom and when we visited Foxhall Resort for the first time, we booked on the spot because we loved it so much.
The process to book and the communication before the wedding was great. It was tough planning a wedding during a pandemic and we decided to only have 25 people at our wedding. Foxhall was accommodating of our change and even gave us some flexibility, which was more than appreciated.
However, on the day of our wedding some items we previously discussed that Foxhall would provide such as temperatures checks for all guests, honeymoon suite extras, and beverage service did not occur. I reached out to Foxhall a few weeks after the wedding and shared these concerns. I received an immediate apology back and was told that someone would respond to me. It has been over a month and even with a few check-ins, I have not heard back.
Overall, I had an amazing wedding day, however, the lack of follow up put a damper on my experience and left me feeling like we were just “another wedding”. I understand that the venue is short staffed and has had some staffing changes, however this level of customer service is unacceptable. I do hope they learn from these experiences that it is just as important to treat a former customer the same as you would a new customer as the power of words and reviews go a long way.

When I visited Foxhall Resort & Sporting Club for the first time, my breath was taken away. I knew I had to book this venue! The best thing is they really do have a venue for every bride's budget. Brooke and her staff were very helpful! I will say that there are no extras included, everything does have a price. So be prepared for extra costs once you get closer to the wedding day. They do have a list of preferred vendors and there is a fee if you choose to use someone else. They provide the liquor which can be a little pricey. All and all, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect scene for our special day.

Foxhall was a beautiful venue for my daughter's wedding! It was great that our family and entire wedding party could stay at Foxhall together. We had the rehearsal dinner, ceremony and dinner/reception there. We also had brunch for out of town guests there Sunday morning. The venue is beautiful and the people working there were great. They are spread really thin for such a nice, rather expensive venue. The staff did the best they could, but there was changeover from the first person we worked with to the next person. We were told that by the time our daughter got married, they would have shuttles to take guests to different places on the property and that didn't happen. I think once they have a full staff, they will be able to offer much better service.

I want to say lovely things about Foxhall, I really do, but there were just a lot of issues I can't ignore.

The good stuff: Legacy Lookout was beautiful and picture perfect. All of our guests loved it, and I am still receiving compliments on its beauty! Our 200 guests + vendors all fit comfortably inside and outside the venue. We were allowed to incorporate our dogs in the ceremony, which was a big deal for us. My family and bridesmaids stayed in one of the lodges while the groom's family & groomsmen stayed in the other. The amenities were good and the beds slept incredibly well.
The bad stuff: Although we paid thousands of dollars up front for the lodges, we were unable to see inside them until the day we checked in. We asked several dozen times if we could go inside, and although we were told it would be okay, we were never actually let in. In fact, my mom drove over an hour after making an appointment to see the lodges, only to be told when she arrived that she couldn't. It was VERY frustrating and caused a lot of problems when we arrived and discovered we did not have enough room for everyone. It could have been avoided if they had let us inside at least once over the course of the YEAR before the wedding. I was also very annoyed to receive an email from the wedding coordinator, Deniese, the day after the wedding accusing us of leaving the altar at the venue, and letting us know that it would be promptly removed. When I emailed her back to tell her our altar was in our possession and she was mistaken, she did not even respond. I did not like working with Deniese from the beginning. I immediately got the feeling she disliked me, but since she never even tried to be friendly with me I can only imagine that she just thinks everyone sucks. Basically, I feel like we paid waaaay too much money for the kind of service we received (or didn't receive).

The venue itself is jaw-droppingly beautiful, and the day of staff were amazing. There was a woman who just showed up with water for me all day. Everything was set up and available as promised. The only issue we had was leading up to the day, the sales team was incredibly difficult to work with. Communication was slow and difficult - email communication was extremely unprofessional. They nickel and dime you as much as possible. The onsite lodging was beautiful and convenient, but also expensive, and there aren't many other options in that area.

The venue is absolutely beautiful! I could not have found a more perfect venue for my wedding. Foxhall's initial venue price is reasonable, however once you start to plan the event with table, chairs, alcohol (even if you bring your own, there is a $5 fee per guest over 21), the clean up fee for most send-off things (sparklers, rice, etc.), all of this adds up and the price isn't as friendly. We also had a difficult time clearly communicating what we wanted in terms of people, setup, number of chairs, etc. and we had a difficult time understanding what our money was actually buying us. But the place is so pretty that it was worth the struggle for us. In the end the hardworking event manager setup everything exactly as we had asked.

The property and venue is amazing! The Foxhall representative we worked with dropped the ball a few times and was difficult to get in touch with. We loved it! We just wished they would've been more on top of things. For example: we asked for a projector and screen for our rehearsal dinner and we showed up and it wasn't set up. Everyone was nice! It just seems like they're still trying to find their footing when it comes to customer service and project managing.

Foxhall is BEAUTIFUL and location is great, but the service and communication was poor. We booked 3 venues for the wedding weekend along with both houses located on the property ($$$$$), yet we were not treated as such.I understand things go wrong, but when you are dealing with weddings there should always be a back up plan. We found out less than two weeks before our rehearsal dinner that our venue was not going to be usable do to the tent being messed up in FEBRUARY during the ice storm. I sent multiple emails throughout the winter and spring asking about the tent and was assured multiple times it would be ready and it was just being cleaned. I feel as if they waited until the last minute to tell us so we could not go somewhere else for a rehearsal dinner. We had a GREAT meeting with event manager and regarding the set up of the weekend and I felt confident Foxhall was making things right, just to find out the weekend of the wedding most of the things we talked about did not happen. We booked the Polo Pavilion for the ceremony and was told it would have the BLUE and GREEN paint cleaned from the camp they had the week prior, that did not happen. We were also told the wasp nest would be taken care of, that did not happen. My dad had to get his team to go down there and take care of the cleaning. Foxhall just placed the chairs out. When we arrived at 2pm on that friday (which was check in time for the houses) we were told they were not clean. I asked if there was somewhere in the house we could place things and I was told no. Like I said I get things happen, but have a plan. When I went to talk to event manager about the matter he walked away from me mid sentence. There were people touring the grounds of Legacy during our reception. Our rehearsal dinner and wedding was amazing, but that was not due to Foxhall. Witt from Foxhall was with us friday night and saturday and he was outstanding. For the amount of money we spent,Foxhall did not do their part in my opinion.

Bad management and no value

Wow where do I begin. I wanted to hand my dream wedding at FoxHall and it turned into a nightmare. There was so much turnover up until my wedding. We had at least 5 different venue managers and most recent one was not very kind. FoxHall has lots of restrictions and hidden fees. If I could do it over I would choose a different venue. I can’t even put into words how stressful it is to work with this venue. It’s not worth the money at all!

Foxhall Resort is a nightmare wedding venue..RUN!!

The entire process leading up to our wedding that should have been one of the most happiest times of our lives was completely ruined. In fact, it was so bad, that we chose to walk away from the thousands of dollars we had already paid them, rather than having them do our wedding. It was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Basic email questions that only Foxhall themselves could answer went completely unanswered for weeks. The level of unresponsiveness was so bad, that we researched and found out who the property management company was and contacted them so that someone, anyone, would respond to us. When we finally got a hold of someone, we were told the reason we were not getting responses was because our wedding was more than six months out, that seems likely a highly illogical rule. If you are trying to book a room block for your wedding guests, FORGET IT, nearly impossible with constantly changing policies and rates. We went through multiple event managers that left the company while we were there causing even more undue stress. Please PLEASE do NOT book your wedding with Foxhall Resort. You WILL regret it.

Lured in by the beauty of the landscape

I would NOT book a wedding at Foxhall Resort for any reason. The beauty of the landscape is undeniable but the quality of service is nonexistent – literally. In the seven months of planning prior to my wedding, Foxhall churned through SIX catering managers. There was NO consistent contact from the resort. Thankfully I hired my own event planner, but the stress led up to the very day of the event with the sixth manager quitting the week before. They operate in total dysfunction with an extremely poor level of management, service, quality of food, and disrepair of the venues. Do not be lured in by the beauty of the property. IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT - DO NOT DO THIS TO YOURSELF!

Have written and called this vendor multiple times over the past few weeks and they never responded. Even if they were to respond at this point , we would not spend any amount of money or time to try to figure anything out with them. Communication is the first tenet of customer relations.
