This venue is incredible. They were so wonderful to work with. Food, service, and ambience were incredibly elegant.

Natalie, our event coordinator, made my life so easy when planning the wedding. The food, oh my god the food was amazing and our guests raved about the space. We could not have picked a better place than Founders One Nine to have our reception. The option of having an outdoor and indoor space was absolutely perfect!

This venue is absolutely stunning! There are not many downtown venues that can offer what the offer, including parking and indoor/outdoor options. The entire staff was amazing to work with from start to finish. They not only have exceptional food, their attention to detail, professionalism and creativity is unmatched.

Summer was awesome! If you are looking to book with founders ask for her.

We held a small reception at Founders and it was a Great Choice! The food was excellent, the servers were very professional and the facility was perfect! We had the choice of being in the garden area and inside. The evening ended up being too hot to enjoy the garden but if we selected a different venue, we would not have had the options. All of our guests complimented the food and facility!

I had my wedding reception at Founders ONE | NINE on January 30, 2021. To say my new husband and I had a five star experience is an understatement. 

Planning: My (now) husband and I got engaged six months before our intended wedding date. We chose Founders ONE | NINE as our reception venue because the space was big enough (we were planning on a 400 guest list); it is a romantic, industrial style; and it fit our budget. It also has a separate bridal room, which experience has told me is imperative. However, the biggest reason was the staff. Summer, the event producer, was incredibly kind, but also the kind of person you know will get things done. So, the space and the staff were perfect! 

Planning my wedding was a roller coaster, to say the least. The pandemic was still raging and regulations/calls for safety were constantly shifting. However, Founders ONE | NINE knew this was a difficult time, and promised to work with me and make sure my big day was special, even if only 12 people could come (this would fall way below the minimum price, which they waived for the pandemic). 

Summer and the Catering staff kept in contact with me throughout the entire planning process. They helped me find venders, had recommendations for decor, invited me to several INCREDIBLE tasting nights (the food is insane here), and met with me as many times as I needed. Working with this venue was the fun part of wedding planning! 

The Week Before: I was my own event planner. Nothing could prepare me for the barrage of necessities I had to complete the week before. Summer told me to let her handle things. I would literally just give my vendors' Summer's cell phone number and she coordinated everything. Flowers, decorations, the lighting, the DJ, my cake... it was all coordinated to arrive and set up in the venue by Summer and the Founders One I Nine staff. 

The Big Day: It could not have been more perfect. My guests are still complimenting me on how much fun they had. The venue was gorgeous and everyone on staff made the night a blast. My photos are AMAZING (especially the ones Summer texted me the week after). 

I highly recommend this place if you're getting married in Omaha! 

Founders is an amazing venue. They offer a wedding coordintor to help with the planning and ensure the day of is everything you'd expect.

Founders One Nine was the perfect venue for our wedding. We had a pretty small wedding (about 70 people) but you could easily have a much larger wedding and the space certainly would accommodate that.

The food from Catering Creations was raved about during our reception. We went pretty non traditional with Asian inspired appetizers, a chef cooked wok entree, and multiple Asian desserts paired with mango ice cream and a coffee bar. The late night snacks we choose were pretzel bites and warm cheese sauce - mouth watering as I type this out.. had guest coming up to us all night with compliments.

Everyone was very accommodating with our requests for both the ceremony and reception seating (some family had concerns with covid) and also our design for the reception.

Founders One Nine and Summer Rose were fantastic to work with! Even through a pandemic, Summer calmed all of our fears and helped us step by step to make our wedding reception possible. We were constantly changing our plans, from timeline down to food and Summer was so patient with us. Hands down I would recommend Founders One Nine for your event, but more importantly I highly recommend Summer!

For a couple trying to decide if they should book this venue I would say BOOK IT! We just had our fourth child get married with the reception at Founders 19 and it was the best one! The venue was amazing for a winter wedding with a great ambiance. Natalie was great to work with even with our many changes. The food was delicious from the bar snacks to the entire meal. We received so many compliments on the venue and the dinner. The entire staff was courteous and professional. We have one more child to get married and we will be back to Founders 19!

We had an absolutely perfect wedding reception at Founders One Nine! The food was delicious, the service was timely, and the space is unique and was the right size for our 225 quests.

I recently had my wedding reception at Founders One Nine and it one of the best choices I could have made for our big day. From the initial consultation all the way until the big day, Christine and the Founders team made sure that every detail was perfect along the way. Christine helped to make our bar and menu options through their caterer (Catering Creations), unique and special to me and my husband. Christine was quick to answering all my random questions, making sure the layout was perfect for us, and even providing such much needed insight on what works well with the space. I cannot stress enough how easy it was to work with Founders and Catering Creations. If you're looking for a venue for a wedding reception or just an event, you need to meet with Founders!

Amazing... across the board! I could go one and on about our experience through COVID 🤨 but... this venue completely understood our expectations and did everything they and she could to make our daughters wedding reception amazing!
My heart will forever be greatful to this venue and to Summer Rose for caring so much about our family.

We absolutely loved Founders One Nine and Catering Creations. We cannot say enough positive things about Summer and her staff! The food was wonderful, the desserts were delicious and the drinks were always flowing. Summer was always quick to respond, took care of everything for us, and made our day go as smoothly as possible! The kitchen staff, servers, and bartenders were helpful and extremely friendly. If you are looking for a place to have your event, I strongly recommend Founders One Nine!

Where do I even begin?? They made our day absolutely perfect! For the amount of random emails I had sent Christine, she responded back right away, and made any request we had happen! She was willing to stay late for us to tour the venue with our parents and again for our personal attendants, so our day would be perfect. My mom had even called the venue the day of the wedding with a last second change, and it was done!

The space is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the size of wedding we ended up having. Luckily we had beautiful weather for a November wedding and guests were able to go outside as well.

The food by Catering Creations was absolutely delicious. I keep getting text messages about the amazing mashed potatoes and crab cakes that were served, but honestly, there wasn’t any bad food at the reception.

We are so beyond grateful to have Founders play such a huge role in making our wedding perfect.

We had my daughters ceremony and wedding reception at Founders One Nine and it was just beautiful. The venue can take on any vibe that you may want. Summer Rose handles all the details and ensures your day will go exactly as planned. The food was hot and delicious and our guests raved how wonderful the food was. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend having your wedding reception at Founders One Nine!

Founders One Nine was a gorgeous space for my wedding reception. Christine was extremely helpful in making sure that my vision came it life. I had so many questions and she was so patient and helpful in answering my questions. She was always willing to touch base with myself as the bride, my mom or our wedding planner. The food was amazing, over a month later I am still getting rave reviews of all of our food. I loved hearing guests favorite appetizer and of course our late night snack tater tot nacho bar was a HIT! I would high recommend having your wedding here!

Founders One Nine was a great venue for our wedding reception. The staff was easy to work with and the catered food was incredible. They were flexible with the catering menu and provided us with several options that made it hard to narrow down our selection. The interior space is very chic and is flexible for any size of group.

Deadlines & details were not communicated properly or promptly. From the start we were "locked" into a minimum we were told would be determined at our first sit down meeting (which never happened) and forced to pay for meals and bar counts that did not attend because the deadline date was not communicated. During the wedding the timeline was not followed; I had to ask to raise the garage, and the staff took orders regarding food from a random person. My husband and I then had to track them down and communicate our expectations (that should have been already on paper).

The "coordinator" did not have the decency to follow up after the event and I was shuffled to someone else with my questions throughout majority of the process. The refund check that was supposed to be $400 ended up being around $300 (with no explanation) was icing on the cake. We were less than impressed. The space was beautiful. Just keep your expectations for communication & event assistance low.

Our experience with Founders One Nine was an exercise in patience. Communication with our planner, Summer Rose, and subsequently the lack of communication with anybody else working for the company, failed completely. We went 32 days without an e-mail response. We called for five days in a row. We visited the physical building twice. All without response. After neglect, I was finally able to cancel our contract and, of course, Founders One Nine did not offer any of the original deposit back--despite being the sole purpose of the failed wedding plans. Please do not contact this company for your own good.
