We booked a room at Fortunata Winery for my daughter's wedding night, and although there was a mix-up with the cleaning staff and the room wasn’t ready, the winery handled it with grace and professionalism. As soon as I reported the issue, they immediately refunded the room and went above and beyond by offering a complimentary stay with their romance package, plus a voucher for the wine tasting room. Their response was not only prompt but incredibly generous.
We’ve visited Fortunata many times over the years, and it’s always a favorite. The atmosphere is consistently beautiful—perfect for relaxing or celebrating special occasions. The food is outstanding, especially the fire oven pizza, and the wine is absolutely delicious. This experience just reaffirmed why we love coming here. Highly recommend for both casual visits and special events! -

WOW! What an evening! I cannot say enough about Jeannette at Fortunata Winery and her fabulous assistance and insights and graciousness in helping make our Appetizer & Wine Cocktail Party the eve of our son's wedding! Jeanette worked with me long distance, as I was unable to travel up to Aubrey Texas to consult with her inperson for our special event. Jeanette would send me photos, suggestions, ideas, anything we needed to make this evening delicious and FUN! The food at Fortunata is so good and I do not think much was left over after our cocktail party. She helped with the decorations which exceeded everyone's expectations and. she helped make our celebration event in the Fortunata Italian Courtyard a beautiful one. Jeanette is exceptional and so easy to work with! Thank you, Jeanette, for making this night one we will remember fondly! -

Our wedding day was nothing short of magical, and we owe a huge part of that to Jeannette at Fortunata. From the moment we stepped foot into the venue, we knew we were in good hands.
Jeannette, our coordinator, handled every detail with professionalism and dedication. From the initial consultation to the final toast, Jeannette was there every step of the way, ensuring that our vision came to life flawlessly.
Not only did Jeannette oversee the logistics of the day seamlessly, but she also went above and beyond in handling multiple roles usually filled by several people. From serving and bartending to bussing tables and ensuring everyone's wine glasses were topped up, Jeannette truly did it all with gusto and a smile on her face.
One of the highlights of working with Jeannette was her keen eye for design. She helped us conceptualize and execute stunning decorations that transformed the venue into a dreamy, romantic setting. Her attention to detail and creativity exceeded our expectations, and we are forever grateful for her guidance in making our wedding day truly special.
Jeannette's passion for her work and genuine care for her clients shines through in everything she does. Her warmth and positivity were infectious, and she made us feel like we were her top priority every step of the way.

We hosted our daughter’s wedding ceremony and reception at Fortunata and we definitely can recommend it for others! Jeannette Cristales is the event coordinator there and she is very experienced at planning and executing weddings. We booked the October wedding more than a year in advance, and it all came together beautifully. There were many great menu options for the cocktail hour and meal. The food was really great!
We especially enjoyed the Tuscan aesthetic of Fortunata and the quaint chapel on the property. They have villas around the property for Airbnb rentals so that made it very convenient for family members and the wedding party to stay on property.
It almost goes without saying that their wine selection is really wonderful and the berry sangria is to die for.
Because of the size of the venue spaces, they are limited in capacity to around 50-60 people, and that was the perfect size for the intimate wedding we were seeking.
We were also pleasantly surprised at the affordability of Fortunata compared to other nearby venues. Their restaurant and patio area do remain open to the public during venue events, and we knew that when we scheduled the wedding there. For people looking for a venue that gives weddings exclusive use of the property, Fortunata may not be a good fit. But there were only a few minutes during our reception speeches where we could hear their live band playing across the property.
We would definitely host a wedding there if we had to do it all over again!

Wedding Ceremony
We chose Fortunata Winery as our wedding venue after meeting with Jeanette because the venue was perfect for our intimate wedding ceremony and rehearsal. Jeanette was very helpful with any and all of my questions as well as setting up the venue. The food was absolutely delicious! The on-site villas made the wedding so special by having the out of town guests close by for the ceremony and getting ready for the ceremony easy. -

Held my wedding here, and the coordinator Jeannette helped everything run smoothly and go off without a hitch in spite of a huge thunderstorm on the day of. Can't recommend this place enough! Great food, beautiful venue, and fantastic atmosphere! -

I had an incredible wedding!!!!
We planned our wedding a year in advance to be at Fortunata Winery. Booked all of the villas + houses on site for friends and family who traveled from distant places. Jeanette took notes, was attentive and met with us throughout our timeline to get all of the details set for our big day. I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful wedding. The ceremony was held outside under the beautiful shade of trees and in front of the chapel with incredible photo ops. Reception was held in the winery (also an outdoor area- so perfect for October), and food was served buffet style for everyone to enjoy at their own leisure. Sangria, champagne and wine were served. Music was not an issue because Jeanette allowed us to use a great speaker and play whatever we wanted! I couldn’t recommend this place more for an event, wedding or even just dinner when they’re opened on the weekends. 10-stars!! -

I just had my wedding in June 4th. I honestly had the perfect wedding and the events coordinator at the winery, Jeannette Cristales was amazing from keeping the communication open, to listening to what I wanted and and trying to make my dream wedding. She and everyone at the venue working on my wedding was amazing. Starting from helping decorate the way I wanted and giving me suggestions, to be very attentive during the ceremony and reception. Always making sure everyone at the wedding had what they wanted. The food was great and even though it was buffet style it was done in an organized and well planned way. This was my dream wedding. This is the perfect venue for a small intimate wedding I highly recommend it. -
