Beautiful Music for a Beautiful Wedding

Forte' was a fantastic choice for our wedding ceremony! The music was just perfect! They allowed us to help pick out the songs and even join their rehearsal so we could hear the music beforehand. The price was reasonable and the process of signing up simple and straightforward. We definitely would recommend Forte for any event!

Forte was the perfect addition to our wedding!!!

We are so happy that we hired Forte to play before and during our ceremony. They were incredibly talented and so fun and kind. It added the perfect touch to our wedding and we received so many compliments from guests. They were so professional and blew us away with their extensive list of songs across all genres. Forte String Trio

We booked Forte's String Trio option for pre-ceremony and ceremony music. They were easy to work with and we loved the experience of listening to them play and choosing our songs. We received a lot of great feedback from our guests and we think they added a special touch to the day. We highly recommend Forte to any couple getting married and looking to add some live music to the day!

Springtime Wedding String Duet

As we were planning the final details of our wedding and looking for ways to make the day that much more special, our wedding planner recommended we take a look at adding a performance by Forte, and we couldn't have been happier with the result! Beautiful ceremony music

Forte was absolutely perfect for what we were looking for in our ceremony music. They were helpful in selecting size of the group needed and in music selection. We had a Catholic wedding, and they helped us select appropriate music for pre-ceremony, procession, and post-ceremony and we were able to throw in a fun song at the end. Easy to work with, responsive, and beautiful music!

They made our day!

Forte went above and beyond on our wedding day. Not only were they exceptional in their performance, but also, they made a point to play our special songs for us before the wedding when we were doing our sneak peek of the wedding ceremony space - and I was brought to tears. Further, they learned songs for us by request. Highly recommend this group of talented individuals!

Amazing experience!

We absolutely loved working with Forte! They were so kind and easy to work with, I highly recommend them. On top of that, communication was easy and everything came together beautifully. Absolutely elevated our wedding!

Very special shout out to Forte string trio. These lovely ladies set the stage for our beautiful wedding with 20 mins of prelude music as guests arrived- playing Bruno Mars; The Police; Adele; Ed Sheeran; & The Beatles. They played our ceremony songs so powerfully and beautifully!

- Standing Outside The Fire, as we exited the chapel.
They are amazing; affordable; play all genres; and you even get a rehearsal session to hear them play your songs a month before your ceremony.
Our guests were so elevated by their music, and they made our ceremony extra special!

Late May wedding

We hired Forte for our outdoor wedding in May. The whole experience was great. I loved sitting down and picking our music for the wedding, and they played flawlessly at the wedding and cocktail hour. Many guests complimented their performance. We stuck to a modern Playlist, and they had so many music selections to choose from. A great experience overall.

Amazing live music addition to our wedding!

Forte was so great to work with and elevated our wedding ceremony and the beginning of our cocktail hour! They were communicative and responsive during the entire process. We especially enjoyed the consultation prior to the wedding to hear them play and help us pick out our music. We went with the duet option and they had a huge list of both classical and modern music to play. Our guests loved the addition of live music and they really helped to bring classiness to the wedding!

Probably one of the most responsive vendors we dealt with for our daughters wedding. Music was great. The wedding guests really seemed to enjoy Forte. If you have an upcoming event, this group is definitely worth you consideration.

Elevate Your Event!

Forte Quartet completely elevated our wedding ceremony to a whole new level. Kristi & Heather’s performance enhanced the ethereal ambience in Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel, where we were married. When the doors opened & I heard the strings, I literally burst out, “Oh my gosh, this is so beautiful.”

Due to our wedding budget, a string quartet wasn’t initially on our radar. However, Forte Quartet offers solo, duet and trio options - allowing them to fit into most wedding budgets!

Worth every penny, the instrumentalists are as professional as they are talented. Included in their price is a 30-45 minute consultation, during which Kristi & Heather are kind, accommodating & knowledgeable. Their repertoire is extensive, there are truly songs for everyone - even if you go with a duet like we did!

These four amazing ladies are amazing, not just at what they do. They made my special day the next level of memorable and special. Amazing Experience with Forte Quartet

When my husband and I decided to still get married in 2020, there was a lot of uncertainty about what our day was going to look like and what changes we were going to have to make. Forte was absolutely on the same page as we were about staying safe for our event and was so helpful in figuring out what was going to be possible for our situation. We ended up hiring a trio for our ceremony and our first few dances at the reception and the music was beautiful! Because our guest list was cut so much from our original plan, we had a Zoom livestream for friends and family who couldn't come and got so many compliments from them on the music. We would absolutely recommend Forte for anyone looking for professional, helpful, and affordable musicians for their wedding day.

Amazing Live Music for your Event!

I am a coronavirus bride and had to quickly change my wedding plans over the summer for my October 2020 wedding. On short notice, my wedding coordinator recommended Forte to play for our intimate ceremony with a small group of our family and friends. Forte was very responsive, clear, and helpful during the booking process, and had a wide selection of songs to choose from, both traditional and modern. Kristi Smith and the team were incredibly accommodating and easy to work with, and we were blown away by their work and talent the day of! We broadcast our ceremony virtually to our family and friends who could not join us, and we received so many compliments on our song choice and the music! Forte's prices are also so affordable, and the talent they brought was truly priceless. We had a duet move from the ceremony room to the patio and back again during our event, and they were able to accommodate all of our requests for the day of! It really helped bring our event to life and added to the romance of the evening. I could not have imagined our day without their talent and dedication, and we will be hiring a larger ensemble again for our vow renewal and reception with all of our friends and family next fall! We would highly recommend them for any event and to all of our friends and family. Live music beats recorded versions every day of the week!

Absolutely Amazing!!!

I found Forte while at a wedding expo. They played a sample of the Wedding March and I instantly knew I needed to book them for my ceremony music! We got married in a timber framed barn and had a solo cello perform for our ceremony, and let me tell you it was absolutely amazing! Not only is Forte super professional, but Kristi was so easy to work with and was so responsive with my emails. Planning a wedding can be stressful enough, let alone during a pandemic. Kristi was so helpful in making suggestion for each part of the ceremony and they even incorporated the Game of Thrones into our recessional ( per request of the groom). If you want to wow your guest and add a super romantic, bone chilling(in the best way possible), awe inspiring element to your special day I HIGHLY recommend booking with Forte!

Extraordinary musical performance

I contacted Forte to inquire about playing for my daughter's wedding. From the moment I first contacted them they were easy to work with. My daughter and her then fiance met with them to choose their wedding music and when the day came they were very professional. Their appearance and performance were outstanding. Many guests remarked how wonderful the music was. I would recommend this group to anyone interested in them. They performed outside and it couldn't have been more beautiful.

Perfect in every way!

The ladies of Forte exceeded my expectations and were a joy to work with! They were with us leading up to the ceremony through cocktail hour. Before the wedding, we were able to do a "test run" for song selection and they made us feel right at home. We walked through which songs went for which moment, the cues they would follow, and they filled in the rest! I could not imagine our big day without them. I am so glad that we were able to work with them.

Forte played at my daughter’s nuptial mass at Redemptorist in KC and then during cocktail hour at the Hilton President. They are wonderful! From the planning through the day of the wedding they were easy to communicate with and very professional. From classical to contemporary, they added such a beautiful touch to the day. Magical Addition to Our Ceremony

We worked with Forte for our wedding ceremony, and it was perfect. They were flexible and extremely knowledgeable of the (several) Catholic rules/nuances at our venue, and they helped guide us through the process. Forte Quartet was the perfect addition to our wedding! We were so impressed with their massive amount of song selections! They were super quick to respond and very accommodating to our schedule. Wedding Reception

Forte was the perfect touch for our son’s wedding reception held at Silo Modern Farmhouse. Their responsiveness to our inquiry was quick, which was so important since this was an event with little lead time. The music was just right-both beautifully classic and yet relevant choices were played. We were thrilled with Forte and highly recommend their musical talent.

Kristi and the Forte Team were seamless to work with - The process was organized and simple while they accurately communicating what I could expect to avoid last minute surprises. They were patient, flexible and encouraging as we navigated picking songs that were meaningful to us. The music itself was SO WORTH IT!! My wedding was in a small space that allowed the music set the mood perfectly. I have had several guests say that the music was their favorite part. Live music was the way to go- I wish I could have afforded to have them there the whole night. You will not be disappointed whether you pick songs from their lists or choose to have them arrange songs for you. Blessings to them for sharing their talent!

When we met with The Forte, I was a little drained on all the wedding decisions. I assumed we'd sit in a stuffy room silently listening to classical music. Instead, our wedding meeting with them was my favorite meeting with any vendor. The ladies were extremely friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. They can play absolutely anything- from classical to Frankie Valli to Guns N' Roses to Jason Derulo. Every single song they played sounded beautiful. It instead turned into an amazing private concert where we got to call out any song in their massive book of options. My face actually hurt from smiling so much. Our initial meeting was such a wonderful private date when wedding planning can get overwhelming. Also, they were extremely helpful showing us what's popular, traditional, or out of the box that they had done for other weddings. They didn't push us any particular way but helped us figure out exactly what we wanted. As you can imagine, they were a dream for the actual wedding. Can you please score all our anniversaries?

This is the second time we've used Forte for a wedding in our family. We first used them for my sister's wedding a couple of years ago and they did so well we decided to use them again for my wedding. We used them for the ceremony and for the cocktail hour and received a lot of compliments. The music selection process was a lot of fun, getting to pick out and preview all of their songs. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for ceremony music.

I have used Forte for both my daughters wedding in 2015 and most recently for my son's wedding in August 2017 at the Intercontinental Hotel on the Plaza. They are excellent to work with, very professional and responsive to our requests. From traditional wedding songs, to Elvis , Bruno Mars, The Police, to even Super Mario theme song and the Walking Dead! Our friends and relatives loved their music and several took the name and number for their children's upcoming weddings. They played for both the wedding ceremony and cocktail hour.

Forte did a great job at our wedding. The wedding guests were amazed by their level of talent,and it made our ceremony all the more beautiful with having great music played. We definitely would recommend them for any wedding.

We hired Forte for our New Year's Eve wedding at the Midland Theatre. They played for our ceremony, cocktail hour and through dinner. They were AH-MAZING. We chose all contemporary music and they even learned several songs for our wedding. We couldn't have selected a more amazing group for our incredible night. Their sound and presence really set the ambiance for the evening.

The ladies of Forte performed at my Catholic ceremony in June and were absolutely wonderful! The first time I heard them play at a bridal show I knew they were a must have for my wedding. The music set the tone for the ceremony and made everything feel more elegant. I received many complements on the music and I couldn't have been happier with my choice! Thank you ladies for everything - if I did it all over again, I would choose Forte every time!

Beautiful music at the wedding ceremony! Very professional and easy to work with. Very supportive in providing music selection suggestions and vey flexible in working with ideas from the bride and groom. Forte was a wonderful addition to the wedding ceremony!

I didn't plan on nor did I ever think of having any form of string instruments during the wedding until I heard them playing at one of the venues during The Big Reveal. It was then I knew I had to have them . Forte is absolutely amazing brought me to tears and chills through my body. The only downside, on my end, I wish I would've splurged more and had them stay longer so I could've enjoyed them. Our guests loved them, I suppose that's all that truly mattered, but I would've loved to hear them outside of the ceremony. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. THANK YOU!

Forte is a wonderful group that truly made the ceremony immaculate. They are well worth every penny and we loved being able to walk into such beautiful music. Forte was great for our wedding ceremony! They were flexible and accommodating. At first, we did not have set ideas for which pieces they should play for our ceremony, but they played us samples of several different ones to help us decide. They arrived on time and were professional in everything they did. We booked the trio for our space, but the quartet sounded awesome!

Wow! We got so many complements on the beautiful music from the attendees. The group was a lot of fun and so accommodating, showing up in the middle of a snow storm with no delays. Very happy with everything about the group, looking forward to opportunists to use them in the future.

The ladies of Forte are spectacular! My husband and I married in October 2016. We had the Forte trio play during our ceremony and were more than thrilled with their performance! We received so many compliments from our guests on all of the beautiful arrangements played before, during, and after the ceremony. Kristi was extremely responsive and easy to work with. She answered all of my questions throughout the process and made me feel at ease. My husband and I had such a great time going to Forte's practice to select our music... we honestly wished we had gotten to spend more time with them! All of the ladies have such wonderful, genuine personalities and exceptional talent. They do not disappoint! My only regret: Not booking them to play during dinner at our reception as well! LOVE Forte!!

This was an amazing group! We wanted a unique music experience for our ceremony and cocktail hour. At the last minute our previous plans feel through and we luckily found Forte. Forte is just fantastic. I LOVED the vibe, attitude and attention to detail Kristi and the other ladies had throughout the whole planning and executing process. Talk about a great group who helped make our day absolutely perfect!!

I had always wanted to walk down the aisle to a very specific part of Canon in D, so when I proposed the idea that my 6 bridesmaids walk down to the first part, and I walk down to the dramatic part ~2 minutes in, Forte stepped up and figured out how to make it happen seamlessly. We hired the String Quartet for 75 minutes, and their pricing was definitely in-line and fair when compared to other quartets, so rest assured, you're getting a fantastic vendor for the money by choosing Forte. Also, the full repertoire of songs from which you can choose was incredible! Tons of classics (Beethoven, Bach, etc.), and even more modern pieces (Avicii, Coldplay, etc.) so you really can have them plan ANYthing.

THANK YOU, Forte, for being so fantastic to work with from day 1, and on our wedding day. We were SO happy to have such a great group play beautiful music during our ceremony. Thanks again!!!!

We had a string trio perform at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. All three ladies were absolutely wonderful and this was a lovely touch to our special day. I previously played violin and had always grown up with a lot of emphasis on good, classical music. Forte was able to perform beautifully both classical pieces as well as modern pieces that my husband and I love (Regina Spektor, etc :)).

The trio was very easy to get in touch with and to work with. They had worked with many of my other vendors before and the others had nothing but great things to say about their performances and professionalism as wedding performers. I cannot imagine my day without the string trio of Forte there. I would recommend them without reservation to anyone in search for a great ensemble.

The one thing I wanted for my ceremony was beautiful instrumental music and the Forte trio provided me exactly that! They invited us to a rehearsal to pick out our music and they were so helpful in choosing music that fit my style (traditional ceremony with modern prelude and postlude). The communication they offered to ensure everything was perfect was top notch as well. I was also extremely impressed that they played at all the right moments during my Catholic ceremony flawlessly! Save your money towards extra ceremony decor and spend it on hiring Forte. You won't regret it!

Kristi was wonderfully responsive and put me at ease from the get-go as I was planning my ceremony remotely. I ended up going with a cello/violin duo and it was absolutely perfect - exactly what we were looking for. We absolutely LOVED Forte. :) I met them at a bridal show & asked them to play the song i'd been thinking of walking down the aisle to. Since there were only three of them one of them had to sing the part of the the fourth instrument. I then joined in just for fun. That was when i knew i wanted to sing down the aisle. At the end of the song they immediately encouraged me to do so & i feel more & more in love with the idea. Though we didn't have a chance to practice (since i found them two weeks before my wedding) they showed up & played beautifully!!! I was so excited to hear Concerning Hobbits as i stood waiting to see my man for the first time that day. All in all we were thrilled with them & i wish we had an excuse to have them come play for us all over again. :)

Forte provided ceremony music for my daughter's wedding. The music was beautiful and all of our friends that attended the wedding commented how the music flowed very well with the ceremony. Everyone enjoyed the music and I found Forte very easy to work with. We met with them about 90 days prior to the wedding and their song selection was amazing. Working up to the big day one thing I didn't have to worry about was the ceremony music. (And that's a great thing when planning a wedding) As our ceremony started...the music started and all I could do was smile. Forte was by far one of the best parts of our wedding.

The forte quartet is amazing. These four women play beautiful music. They played atmy non-traditional venue and it was amazing. We jad them play modern selections for the ceremony and the cocktail hour. They did an amazing job! You definitely want to contact them of you want beautiful music at your wedding. Forte Quartet is absolutely AMAZING. We asked them to play for both our ceremony and our cocktail hour, and their entire performance was simply stunning. Their repertoire is extremely expansive, and it is very obvious that they have played together for a long time -- they not only know what they are doing as individual musicians, but they play seamlessly together as a group. We actually had a few strange songs that we requested for our ceremony, and all we had to do was provide the music and they played them just gorgeously! Kristi is so lovely to work with for setting everything up -- we had to plan remotely and I was a little worried at first that I wouldn't be able to meet in person, but Kristi just made everything so easy! Everyone in the quartet is so professional and talented and kind. You must have Forte Quartet for your wedding!

I was impressed with the quality of service and attention from day 1. As soon as we started conversations about my Wedding there was never more than 24 hours where I didn't get a response to my emails. Many times it was only a matter of hours before I had a response.

In regards to the music, again I was thoroughly impressed with the flexibility and desire to help find just the right music. Many of my requested songs were not in their current selections and I feared I would be stuck searching high and low to find sheet music for those songs… NOT the case at all. Instead I had daily updates from Kristi on which songs she had found and where I can go to find others. I was very impressed!

I found the price point to be very reasonable and honestly a bargain for what we received. The music was greta and even the songs they haven't played before sounded amazing. I would highly recommend Forte Quartet to anyone planning their special day. You are sure to be in good hands.

I was so lucky to locate the talented ladies for Forte Quartet via gigmaster.com and they didn't disappoint! From my very first emails with them they were most concerned with what I wanted out of my wedding day. They were wonderful in making music suggestions as well as helping to outline the timing and order of my wedding processional and recessional - most of all were so fun to coordinate with at the in person consultation! They offer an outstanding selection of modern pieces as well as all the traditional favorites. I would highly recommend Forte Quartet for ANY event.

They found a unique sound for a special song during my ceremony. They even knew the perfect songs to play during certain times of my ceremony when I was undecided.
It was gorgeous and they knew exactly when to time things.

These gals were super easy to work with and were so flexible. The sun and setup was very windy and our canopy we had purchased for them blew over--yet ,they figured out a plan. Music was superb and our guests made many comments about it.

Forte Quartet was Fantastic! They are very reasonably priced, traveled two hours to our venue, and their performance was great! Everyone was talking about how wonderful they were after the ceremony. Kristi was great to e-mail back and forth with, she was always very quick to respond and you can tell she and the rest of the group are always so cheerful, even in e-mails! We had a great time with them during their audition set about a month before our wedding, and when I mentioned a song I wanted, they found the sheet music and played it for me, even though they had never performed it before! And of course, it was perfect by our wedding day! I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! Thank you girls!

Kristi and her team did an exceptional job performing at our wedding! We got so many compliments and wonderful feedback regarding the music played beforehand and during the ceremony. It added a very special touch to the day! In addition, Kristi was very professional through all of our contact and very accommodating. I felt like I was in very good hands and that everything would run smoothly. I really appreciated her customer service and highly recommend forte string quartet!

They were professional and prepared to show us several choices that were more contemporary and less conventional. Forte Quartet was flexible with times on the wedding day, since I didn't know until the last minute if I would need them for just the ceremony or the ceremony and the cocktail hour. I got a ton of compliments on how nice the music was. I would definitely recommend Forte Quartet....a great service for the price!

These musicians did a fabulous job playing for my daughter's wedding. They were so easy to work with.

I HIGHLY recommend Forte to anyone who ask! They were wonderful to work with and made my wedding ceremony over the top by filling the halls of the venue with beautiful, live sounds. My wedding day was a whirlwind but having the sounds of their strings are a memory that is very vivid in my mind. Many of my guest were blown away by how elegant it was having a quartet play for the ceremony. Forte not only plays beautiful music, but they are very sweet women who are very accommodating and easy to work with. I was able to choose from a large selection of music (or request my own) and enjoy a private mini session with them in order to select the ceremony music with confidence a few months before the wedding. You will not be disappointed if you book Forte! It was well worth our money and I am so happy to have had the pleasure of working with them!

Forte was such a great group to work with. We were able to meet with them before our wedding to hear and choose some songs for the ceremony, which was such a fun experience. Their repertoire is incredibly extensive, and we absolutely loved having the classic quartet feel with a modern twist to the ceremony songs. Would definitely recommend Forte. They're amazing!
