Dream Wedding Experience!
Our wedding experience with the Forsyth Park Inn was absolutely perfect! From the moment we stepped in the door, everything was smooth and wonderful. Our room was beautiful, with a view of the park, and the staff was super helpful with taking our bags up. Gary gave us a tour of the inn, showing us the veranda and the parlor, where refreshments were served. Everyone was super accommodating of my wife’s dairy allergy too, with our daily breakfast, wedding cake, and chocolate covered strawberries! Bobbie Jo, the inn’s wedding planner, was amazing! She is kind, professional, and had the entire day go without a hitch. The rehearsal the afternoon before was super informative and easy to follow. Even before we arrived at the Inn, Bobbie Jo made sure we had answers to all our questions, even ones we hadn’t thought to ask. The actual wedding day was everything I could have dreamed. Thanks to the list of vendors the Inn sent me, picking a hair & make-up artist and wedding photographer was a breeze. Our room was spacious enough for my whole family to have lunch and get ready. The Inn also did a great job in keeping my wife and I separated until the ceremony for the before pictures. The Inn is so beautiful, the ceremony and pictures are stunning! The garden courtyard was perfect, with the rose petal trail leading in. All of the details were taken care of for us, included in our package, such as the flowers, cake, Bobbie Jo herself, and the pastor marrying us. Even after the ceremony, when we returned to the inn after dinner, we had champagne, flutes, and chocolate covered strawberries delivered to our room. Every part of this experience truly helped create the wedding I’ve dream of my whole life and elevated it beyond anything I could have imagined! I highly recommend having your wedding at the Forsyth Park Inn; we cannot wait to stay there again! PS they’re also queer friendly. -

The staff at Forsyth Park Inn, especially Bobbie Jo, made sure our wedding day was the most perfect day! As an out of town, anxious bride, whose first experience at Forsyth Park Inn was the day before the wedding, Bobbie Jo kept me in touch and made sure that every detail was thought out and perfectly curated to suit my specific wants and needs. The planning process was ridiculously easy thanks to Bobbie Jo. The day itself was perfect and stress free! Bobbie Jo ensured that all every detail was perfect and handled. I was not asked a single question on my big day. She handled it all. If you would like a beautiful, perfect, and stress free wedding day, this is the venue for you. I loved Bobbie Jo and the rest of the staff at Forsyth Park Inn so much, and I highly recommend this venue! -

The Forsyth Park Inn was an amazing wedding venue and overall experience for not just us but also our friends and family that joined us for the weekend. The inn itself is absolutely beautiful. The photos do not do it justice. We were all in awe when we were there. The location is perfect for your guests to journey around Savannah and also for photo opps post ceremony in the park. The staff was absolutely incredible. Always friendly and eager to support in any way possible. Bobbie Jo was an excellent coordinator for the ceremony. She was very patient and gave great guidance in the rehearsal and the true ceremony. Her communication was also perfect before, during and even after the ceremony. Outside of the wonderful staff and inn itself the choices for ceremony celebrations include a lot of things that help ease the stress of wedding planning. The package included a wedding cake, boutonnieres, rose petals etc. These components being included alleviated additional stressors that wedding planning already has enough of! Overall, the Forsyth Park Inn was able to make our day incredible and as far as we're concerned perfect. Can't thank them enough! -

Our Elopement
Our small elopement at Forsyth Park Inn was everything that we hoped it was going to be! Bobbie Jo and her team were great making everything go as smoothly as it possibly can for our big day. Staying at the inn was a great addition for the night before and the night of our wedding. Everything is decorated and maintained so well and looked amazing in photos! The park being across the street was also great for our first look and photos after the wedding. We also received chocolate covered strawberries and champagne the night of the wedding that was delivered to our room with a thank you card from their staff. We will be visiting again to celebrate future anniversaries!

Bobbie Jo and the entire staff at the Inn made my wedding experience wonderful. They were very personable, friendly, and great at communication. The venue itself is beautiful. I loved how intimate the ceremony was and the history behind the Inn. It was a very unique and special experience. Bobbie Jo and what's included in the wedding package made the planning easy. The vendors that are a part of the package (cake and florist) were great. The flowers were beautiful and the cake tasted amazing. The free breakfast, social hour, and nightly desserts were a great add-on at the Inn. Forsyth Park is the perfect place to take pictures after the ceremony. Overall, we loved having our wedding here and our guests loved it as well. -

The Best Wedding Venue In Savannah
Forsyth Park Inn (Bobbie Jo specifically) will go above and beyond to make your wedding day a memorable and unique experience! They have "been there done that" more than a time or two, so there is no need to stress about the small details and the mechanics of your ceremony. This is definitely the go to wedding venue for smaller Savannah weddings and you will not be disappointed with your experience, the location, and the aura of your ceremony if you choose to go with them. -

Wedding Review
We had our wedding ceremony at the Forsyth Park Inn, in their beautiful courtyard. The staff made our day so special and worry-free. The quality of service and professionalism was top notch. We are so happy we trusted the Forsyth Park Inn to have our wedding. As a bonus, their breakfast was delicious! When we arrived at our suite on our wedding night, they had chocolate covered strawberries for us, very romantic. Bobbie Jo, our wedding coordinator was super attentive and the attention to detail was unmatched. We recommend this venue to anyone looking to have an intimate wedding at a very reasonable price. The red wedding
I absolutely love this wedding venue they went above and beyond for me and my husband Bobbie Jo was amazing even When my cake was running late, she made sure it got there in time. Just absolutely amazing. Wish I could give more than five stars.❤️❤️❤️

The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was flawless. The decor was stunning, with vibrant red accents that added a touch of elegance and drama. Our guests were amazed by the beautiful setting and the exceptional service. It was truly a magical day, and I couldn't have imagined a better place to celebrate such a special occasion. Forsyth Park Inn was an absolutely dream for our wedding! Bobbie Jo was amazing to work with and did a wonderful job coordinating everything. She was incredible to work with; kind, easy-going, patient, and gets back to you quickly. She's also a great dress floofer! It was really nice to have a package that includes things like the coordinator (Bobbie Jo), cake, bridal bouquet, and officiant. It makes planning the wedding so much easier for those that are doing it themselves. They really take care of everything for the ceremony! Dwayne and the rest of the staff were amazing to be around and talk to as well. The rooms are all beautiful, spacious, and have so much charm. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the evening wine and hors d'oeuvres were lovely to come back to after being in the city for the day. All of our guests that stayed at the Inn absolutely loved it there! Highly, highly, recommend them if you are looking to have a small garden wedding in Savannah! -

Perfect atmosphere for an elopement
We will always look back at our weekend at the Forsyth Park Inn fondly. The Inn itself is gorgeous and the garden setting was so quaint for our group of 10. Bobbie Jo was wonderful to work with and we were quite surprised by the value and quality of their wedding package. We highly recommend!! -

We booked our elopement with Forsyth Park Inn and had an incredible experience. The Inn, staff, and location were amazing. From the beginning, Bobbie Jo was helpful, responsive, and attentive. Booking was a breeze and all we had to do was make a few decisions (cake, flowers, and ceremony time). Upon arrival, Dwane at the front was welcoming and helped us get situated with our room - he even searched and found a full length mirror for me. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The day of our wedding, rain was in the forecast which stressed us all out, however, Bobbie Jo went above and beyond to make our day special and run smoothly. She handled all the big and little details (held umbrellas in the rain, fixed my dress, cut the cake, directed photos, and so much more). Despite the rain, we had an amazing day and would highly recommend anyone book Forsyth Park Inn! -

Exactly what we were looking for and more!
With only 3 weeks to plan our local elopement I felt so relieved to have found Bobbie Jo and her team at Forsyth Park Inn, they really took care of EVERYTHING. I was so relaxed and knew that I could enjoy my day with my loved ones. She was there the day off to make sure everything ran smoothly and even made sure my special requests were all taken care of. The pictures turned out amazing and it was so nice to be able to take family pics at Forsyth afterwards. Thanks Bobbie Jo :) -

Fantastic experience in an incredibly beautiful location!
Asking my now wife to marry me was the easy part, arranging a marriage was not! With me, now living in the USA and needing to arrange this day was, to say the least, very uncomfortable! Beyond my experience! My wife lives in Europe, so this completely fell on me. It would have been a complete disaster if it were not for Bobbie Jo and Weddings at Forsyth Park Inn helping with the process! What a wonderful experience provided by them! Savannah itself is a dream, and the location is so wonderful and romantic. The Inn is right across the street from the incredibly beautiful Forsyth Park. Having the ceremony at the Historic Forsyth Park Inn was fantastic! All details were managed by them, and all we had to do was to simply show up. Our whole party stayed at the Inn, and our honeymoon was there as well. This was such a convenience for us, as it allowed us to just focus on our special day, our family and friends, and they handled all of the details. Truly a wonderful experience! -

This is the place to get married!
This a great venue that is historic, beautiful, and intimate with a staff that goes absolutely above and beyond for its guests. The rooms were beautifully decorated with period pieces and the breakfast in the morning was unbelievable in how delicious it was. Whether you are getting married or looking for a place to stay on your honeymoon the Forsyth Park Inn is one to consider! The location is great for walking the historic district, has a fantastic view of the park that is great to wake up to, and a great porch to enjoy a glass of wine on in the evenings! We already cannot wait to go back! I cannot say enough about the staff at the inn. They are some of the most amazing people I have ever had the chance to work with! I will forever be thankful that this is where I chose yo have my ceremony/honeymoon. -

Best Destination Wedding Experience
I had found Forsyth Park Inn online by searching for destination weddings. We immediately fell in love with the idea of being married near the park and we are so happy with our decision; I wish we could relive our wedding day all over again.
Bobbie Jo was immensely helpful from the very beginning. She gave me a list of preferred vendors (photographers, hair and makeup and even music) along with recommended restaurants nearby for rehearsal dinner or reception dinner. This was amazing considering we live several states away. She even helped me with things I never even thought of.
The staff was also extremely welcoming and helpful. Anything we needed help with they were there to assist. -

Bobbie Jo and her team at Forsyth are the very best!
Our wedding coordinator, Bobbie Jo, was the very best. If you decide to do a wedding package at Forsyth Park Inn, you are in great hands and will be well taken care of. She goes through every possible detail you can think of to make sure your wedding is how you envision it and she is such a joy to talk to. The other staff at Forsyth are just as great and the inn is beautiful! The rooms are very spacious. We did the Grand Savannah Package and could not be any happier, it was perfect. The package comes with a lot of things, including renting out the inn for your guests, a bridal bouquet, a wedding cake, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries… this is just some of the stuff. I’d recommend Bobbie Jo and Forsyth Park Inn to any bride. We had an amazing experience. I will miss working and planning my big day with her. -

There is not enough positive things we can say about the staff at the Forsyth Park Inn to clearly explain how amazing they are. Bobbie Jo is an amazing wedding coordinator and a genuinely wonderful person to work with. She made the entire process seemless which is not the easiest thing to do in the middle of a global pandemic. Bobbie Jo was always there willing to listen when things got stressful and willing to help with anything we might need in planning our perfect day. Upon our arrival Bobbie Jo was on it. The rehearsal was run smoothly and clearly and everyone knew what to do even our 5 year old nephew. The day of our wedding was nothing short of a dream. Bobbie Jo, Dwayne, and the staff at the Forsyth Park Inn set everything up beautifuly and ran the ceremony and cocktail hour perfectly. We couldnot have asked for a more perfect venue, staff, and wedding day. The Forsyth Park Inn truly goes above and beyond to make your special day extrodinary. We look forward to our next trip to Savannah as the Forsyth Park Inn is now very much our home away from home! -

Timeless Savannah Wedding
From start to finish Bobbie Jo and the staff at the Forsyth Park Inn made our wedding journey the easiest and most wonderful time. They all genuinely want to make sure we had the best day possible. One of the things I really enjoyed was getting to stay at the Inn the night before and the night of the wedding. It made everything much less stressful! On the day of the wedding the male concierge, whose name is escaping me at the moment, even helped my now husband tie his tie correctly and then kept me company as I waited to go down the stairs. Aside from the wonderful staff, the Inn itself is gorgeous and gives that timeless Savannah style. The photos from our day really speak for themselves. If I could do it over again I wouldn’t hesitate to pick the Inn and Bobbie Jo. -

Truly Amazing. A dream come true.
There are so many things I could say about our experience here. The entire staff was wonderful. Our planning experience was stress free yet thorough. The wedding day was far better than we could have imagined.

Wonderful venue for your wedding.
My son and daughter in law had their wedding at the Forsyth Park Inn and everything about this venue was perfect. Their vows were exchanged in the courtyard garden with the koi pond and fountain in the background. The officiant who performed the ceremony was very professional and performed many ceremonies at the Inn. After the ceremony we went to Forsyth Park and fountain for professional photos which turned out beautifully. Bobbi Jo, their wedding planner from the Inn, set up everything for them from ceremony, photographer, cake and all the details in between and was wonderful to work with. You can tell by her knowledge of weddings how experienced she is. The Inn staff was amazing and helped us set up a carriage ride to the restaurant and many other details. Forsyth Inn will be our new home away from home bed and breakfast when visiting Savannah.

We had our wedding at Forsyth Park Inn on February 29th and from the start of planning, it was amazing! Bobbie Jo was always quickly responsive on any questions I had and followed up to make sure I was on board with our plans for the whole day! From the rehearsal to the day of, everything went off without a hitch and was absolutely beautiful. It was exactly what we wanted in our intimate ceremony and the stay there over the weekend was perfect! I can't recommend them highly enough, they will take great care of you! -

This venue was the perfect place for our wedding! I knew it from the very first call. Communication is always key when planning something amazing & the coordinator at the Inn is exceptional at her job. She wasn't able to be there for my actual wedding day (she was a little busy having a baby), but the Manager and other staff were there to make sure everything was perfect....and it really was! I can't say enough about this location. The rooms are spectacular, the food to die for & the service we all received from the staff impeccable!
My wedding was held in the garden and it was simply the most beautiful setting. Most of my guests had rooms at the Inn too. I'm serious when I say the Inn staff knew where my guests were whenever I was looking for them--it was wonderful! They became friends/family very quickly that weekend. Everyone worked so hard to give us the most amazing day & it couldn't have been better. Everything was seamless & taken care of....I was a Bride with no worries at all; they thought of everything so I didn't have to. Our wedding was perfect & it is truly thanks to Forsyth Park Inn, the owners & everyone working there! I felt so special & I'm so happy that I picked the perfect place for my perfect day!

My husband and I got married at the Inn on 11/9/24. We purchased the Grand Savannah package so we had use of the entire Inn for the weekend and all of our guests stayed there. All of the rooms were lovely and nicely appointed and it was really great to have everyone together for the weekend. Dwayne, the general manager, was super friendly and accommodating from the moment we arrived. Many of our family members commented to us on the beauty of the Inn and friendliness of Dwayne. A guest favorite was sitting in the rocking chairs on the veranda overlooking Forsyth Park - perfect!
Bobbie Jo, the wedding coordinator, was super helpful and detail-oriented throughout the entire process. I emailed her many questions in the months leading up to the wedding and she always responded timely with detailed answers. We spoke on the phone a few times leading up to our day and I felt confident that she would handle all of the details during our special day. It was obvious that she’s done this many times before! I wanted to setup the courtyard a bit differently than what they normally do and she listened and made sure everything was setup exactly the way I wanted. She was a big help on the day of the wedding and even bustled my dress after the ceremony.
Everything was perfect from the rooms to the ceremony to the food. A great wedding experience that I highly recommend! -

If you are getting married in Savannah, this is the place to go! I selected the Forsyth Park Inn, site unseen, in January from my home in North Carolina before the pandemic hit. Bobbie Jo, Dewayne, and their associated vendors are the best. They made everything easy and beautiful! They coordinated all the fine details and made sure we had everything we needed. They were so much fun and helpful! They provided great recommendations for local restaurants and vendors. I did not have to change a thing from January to my wedding in October. My family and I made several trips to Savannah and they were accommodating each time. While 2020 has handed out some challenges, I had no worries about my wedding and was in excellent hands. I highly recommend the Forsyth Park Inn and there team! You will love them! We did and we are definitely coming back! -

Tonya Sent on 03/07/2012My stay at The Forsyth Park Inn was only my second B&B experience, the first only being the two nights prior. The Inn is absolutely beautiful, and the big win here is the view of Forsyth Park. We stayed in Room 1, which had the most amazing view of the park. With the azaleas in bloom, it was a very picturesque view.
The staff are very kind and generous. We had several very positive interactions with the day manager that reflected impeccable guest service. The breakfast was amazing, and I love that they leave out the evening desserts until late at night for those midnight snacks when you've been out late.
Some things to keep in mind is that this is not your average hotel experience. The room is large...probably too large for the AC unit. We needed a fan in the room for our late February stay. The room would benefit greatly from a ceiling fan, but I hear that additions like that to historic homes is quite difficult. Also, our room with the lovely view also meant that it faced a very busy street. I was awoken several times by loud trucks passing by during the night.
While my stay at Forsyth Park Inn will forever be memorable because I was there for my wedding at Forsyth Park, I feel that I am probably too modern of a guest to fully enjoy what they have to offer.
