Everyone at Forrest Grove was amazing! Shelly is so sweet and so patient. She really cares about what your vision is and she’s very flexible with any ideas that you may have and Jessica, the wedding coordinator, was so sweet and helpful! Forrest grove did a great job in relieving any stress I had for our special day. Thank you Forrest Grove for everything!!!

Forrest Grove was the best decision we could have made regarding our wedding. They were accommodating with our special requests such as a signature drink and cocoa/coffee bar. They helped us decorate the venue with limited time and even held out hope with us to have a outdoor wedding even with a large chance of rain. Everything worked out as we had dreamed and they were a HUGE part in making that happen. Everyone raved about the food and they loaded us up with all the leftovers. We are STILL enjoying it! Thank you!

My uncle's wedding was here last March and it was beautiful. I wasn't involved in the process of getting it but it went smoothly and was absolutely stunning. There a bit pricey to me but it makes sense. They did the buffet and it was so good I loved the food. Aka in all 5/5!

Mrs. Shelly was awesome to work with. She was very accommodating and always quick to respond. The ceremony plans had to change to inside the venue because of weather and the transition went smoothly. The food was delicious and Kaylynn the on staff coordinator was great.

NO Forrest, NO grove, and it's hardly a plantation. FGP: Try FABULOUSLY, GREEDY, PEOPLE. My daughter visited FGP January 19th 2017 and paid a deposit of $1000. Signed their partially filled out contract. I say partially filled out, because the only information contained was that she was reserving the venue for October 27th 2017 for a minimum of 100 guest. No per head dollar amount, no ceremony fee, no estimated cost, no balance due estimate; these lines were blank and would all be filled in later. And yes, in big bold letters it stated: NO REFUNDS. Approximately five weeks later, her four year old ringberrer was diagnosed with a brain tumor and began having seizures. In a move to lesson financial burden on his mother (also in the wedding) and move the date up sooner as we didn't know what the little man was facing; my daughter went to see Dianne at Forrest Grove to cancel the event 7 1/2 months in advance. Dianne made a cancellation note on our contract, acknowledging it was for medical reasons so that the date could be rebooked for another party, which it was. She also indicated a refund could be made if the date was rebooked by someone else. The date of my daughter's wedding was moved up and held in a less formal venue, her four year old ringberrer served proudly and life went on...
Five months later, the week before the original wedding date of October 27th. We contacted Forrest Grove, inquiring as to the status of booking, we were told they had re-booked the day, but due to their NO REFUNDS POLICY, a return of our $1000 would not be forthcoming. On October 27th, as the father of the bride; I called FGP and was told the $1000 was not available to be returned as it was considered income back in the month of January and spent. The next four hours were spent responding to self-serving text messages from management attempting to rationalize and justify their forfeiture of our $1000 deposit, regardless of the fact someone else was taking our place.

The venue is beautiful! It made for a very elegant outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. Many people commented about how beautiful the wedding was. Our wedding coordinator, Heather, was awesome! We loved her; she was so helpful and sweet! We were grateful that the FG staff allowed us to come the morning of the wedding (which was on a Friday) to put some of our stuff out. Depending on how nice you want the ceremony to be, you may want to bring your own chair covers for the outdoor chairs, as they are not provided. The chairs they have aren't bad, but chair covers dress them up and make them look much nicer. FG provides beautiful centerpieces for the tables at the reception, and they will let you choose which ones you do/don't want to include. The food was great, too. The reception area has plenty of room, so it's big enough to have tables and chairs for all guests, a dance floor, a DJ setup, a cake table, etc. It was important to me to have room for everyone to sit and eat, so that was a huge plus! I only have a couple complaints. In our initial consultation, we were told that full clean-up was included, and that we could pick up our things, which would be boxed up, at a later date. However, right after the reception, my parents were told that they had to clean up all our stuff, so they were stuck picking up everything that night, along with the kind guests who volunteered to help last minute. Had we known we had to pick up ourselves, we would have been more prepared. Also, the landscaping out front (by the pond, not in the ceremony area) is not maintained and currently looks pretty bad. We wanted a few photos in front of the beautiful fountain/pond, so the photographer carefully placed us in an area where the ugly landscaping (or lack thereof) wouldn't be seen in the photos. Despite this, it still ended up being a beautiful wedding, and Heather made the wedding day as stress-free as possible, helping wherever and whenever needed. We are happy overall with the venue

It was an absolute breeze having our reception here. The food was amazing. Decor was beautiful. We had a wonderful experience.

Friendly, flexible and accommodating. Very attentive to special requests. Excellent food and service.

Looking for a beautiful location for my wedding

Terrible! Would not recommend! The electricity went out at my reception so we had no air or lights. One back up generator and they still made my parents pay the full bill at the end of the night! Never recommend this place! Very unprofessional!!!

They were so easy to work with. We received so many complements on the food and how beautiful everything was. I have already been recommending them to everyone! Forrest Grove was a beautiful, elegant venue for our wedding. The Coordinator was so friendly and helpful. Everything went so smoothly! Not once did I have to go looking for her. The tables and layout were lovely. To me, the food selection and taste is among the best I've had at a wedding!

We had our rehearsal dinner and reception at Forrest Grove Plantation., and it was absolutely perfect!! They had just enough seating for our 200+ wedding. The table cloths and Chair covers added a very elegant touch to our reception. When we arrived at Forrest Grove, there was a table by the door for all our guests to sign the guestbook, and another table for all of our wedding gifts. Mrs. Diane, Shelly, and Cindy were a huge help with my indecisive ways. They gave me suggestions on what would look good and be perfect for my husbands and I special day.

The food was absolutely the best. My guests rant and raved on how good the food was and when they were finished eating, how Forrest Grove employees came around and picked up the finished plates, and glasses, so there wasn’t any leftovers on the table while enjoying the rest of the ceremony.
Forrest grove was very accommodating to my DJ, Photographer, and photo booth. The photo booth was tucked away in a corner, where all my guests knew where it was and it wasn’t in the way. That special touch added a fun atmosphere for our guests.

When it was time to leave, any leftover food was boxed up and brought to our car. My husband and I were too busy thanking guests and dancing the night away we forgot to eat. So that late night snacks in our hotel room was just the right touch.

Thank Your Mrs. Diane and Shelly for making our Special Day so amazing. Would I recommend Forest Grove to another bride? ABSOLUTLEY!!!!

Forrest Grove Plantation and The Staff there are wonderful, Especially Shelly and Mrs.Diane who were so very helpful in answering my many questions and everything overall which made my Wedding Day a GREAT Success:)and everything i ever thought it would be and more! The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed themselves!

They were very helpful for rehearsal and for the wedding. We had our wedding and reception there and it was very nice. Everyone loved and enjoyed it. The only thing is that we did go over our count and that was fine but then they started counting people that did not stay for our reception plus they counted children that was under the age of 5 when they was not suppose to. I should have had one of my hostess to count along with them to get a more accurate count cause they gave us one amount then couple minutes later came back with another amount. They should also give 4 hours for the reception time because that is the average for receptions in the area plus it gives the bride and groom more time to enjoy themselves instead of being rush to enjoy their special moment.They did pack up the food that was left over and that was great! Everything else was fine.

Forrest Grove Plantation aided in helping my wedding day become a dream come true. The staff was amazing, the food was great, and everyone had a great time. I also loved that no food went to waste....any extra food was boxed up and given to my husband and I to enjoy! Thanks Forrest Grove!

Forrest Grove was excellent to work with. I had both my wedding ceremony and reception there. The staff was great at helping me plan all of the steps of the wedding and getting everything put together in the end. I highly recommend them. It was a wonderful experience.

We had our wedding and reception at Forrest Grove Plantation. It was great!

When we wanted to give FGP a test run as far as the food, they made us to-go boxes of almost every food they offered. (And the food was delicious!!)

Prior to the day of the main event, I was able to bring all my flowers to FGP to store in their big fridge. They kept them nice and cool so they stayed fresh for the big day.

We hired a Justice of the Peace. Neither one of us are very religious, and we heard he was very nice, so we made the decision to have a civil ceremony.

Our wedding was outside under the covered area. FGP supplied all the tables we needed, the chairs for our guests, the arbor for our service, and the little table for our unity candle set. The covered area had fans and was large enough for the amount of guests we had.

The wedding coordinator was great! She eased my mind when I felt things were getting overwhelming. She took care of getting the kids in order for the service. She walked us through the rehearsal with no problems, and when we left there, everyone felt better.

The reception was great. They helped the DJs set up their equipment. They helped the photographer with anything him and his wife needed.

They set aside a table for gifts only, and had a table in the front room for our signing table. They also set the favors on another table so they could give them out when the reception was over.

We would tell everyone about FGP if they ever needed a place to have their special day!!

Forrest Grove was a great location. I couldn't have asked for a better venue. The staff was very helpful and laid back and willing to go along with your plans. We had Rehersal and wedding here! They were great! And most guest said this was the best wedding food they ever had.
