I cannot rave more about Forno! We had the absolute best staff working w/ us from the beginning of our wedding planning during our tasting to the bartenders we hired through them at our reception! I never had an empty hand that night & they were BEYOND kind to all of our guests. This doesn't even touch on how delicious our food was as well. Everyone was super impressed w/ our grazing table & entrees! Highly recommend to anyone! -

Delicious Food, Great Service!
Forno Wood-Fired Catering did an AMAZING job at our wedding! We had five courses: the antipasto and pepperoni bread for appetizers, salad, tomato cream pasta, and pizza. Everything was delicious and they were very accommodating to what we wanted for our big day. They were all super nice and helpful. We hired servers/bussers through them as well and they were so kind! We were so impressed with how helpful they were and how smoothly they helped the dinner hour go. The food was incredibly tasty and we were happy that they put some leftovers to the side for us. Our guests went on and on about how amazing the food was and how they thought that the wood-fire oven was cool. We would highly recommend Forno to anyone, and we will definitely keep them in mind for any future catered events we may have. -

“The best wedding food I’ve ever had!!” the comment from every guest
If I could give this caterer ten stars I would! Absolutely phenomenal food! Gorgeous looking spread and it tasted even better! There is not one bad thing I could say about my experience! Joe was amazing to work with and answered all of my questions in a timely manner! Thank you so much Forno for helping make my wedding day so memorable! I only have a picture of the appetizer spread (which is beautiful) but I will add more once I get real pics back from my photographer! -

Danielle Sent on 11/16/2016I'm so glad that we hired Matt and his crew to cater our October wedding at Patterson's Fruit Farm. We wanted something out of the box that wasn't your traditional dried wedding chicken, soggy veggies and frozen rolls. When we went to Forno for our tasting, it was just my husband and I, and Matt made us 4 pizzas, a huge salad and their amazing pepperoni rolls to try. It was a delicious feast and we booked with him on the spot. We got rave reviews at the wedding - we had over 10 types of pizzas (including gluten-free and vegan to accommodate guests), salad, pepperoni rolls, two types of pasta, plus their incredible anti-pasta display and bacon-wrapped scallops for cocktail hour. If you want to impress your guests and do something out of the box, definitely book Matt & Forno! -

User1794862 Sent on 09/04/2014Pranzo Forno catered our rehearsal dinner and it was truly amazing. They brought a wood fired pizza oven to our house and grilled as many pizza's as we wanted, so many toppings and dessert pizzas as well. Professional, on time and food was great. -

Forno wood fired catering was exactly what we wanted and more for our wedding day. We cares about making sure that we had good food at our wedding!! And it was absolutely delicious. The grazing table and pepperoni breads were such a hit along with the pizza buffet and other choices. We picked the lemon chicken and vodka pasta and people loved it! People are still talking to us about how good the food was. They left us the leftover food and also left a pizza table of all the leftover pizza which was so popular during the rest of the night while dancing.
Planning a wedding is stressful and I wanted to make sure everything was in order well in advance. If you are ok with just waiting until a week or two before to settle everything, then working with them will be / and was a breeze for that reason.
Finally, Joe and the staff were so incredibly nice and I think just genuinely care about their customers. After all is the most important day and you vendors you can trust.Forno wood-fired Catering's reply:

I was so excited to book Forno. The tasting was amazing and the food was really good. We were excited to have something different for our wedding day.
We booked them and paid the 500 deposit through the mail. We had extensive correspondence via email about the deposit.
1. We never received a receipt.
2. There was nothing in our email correspondence about the deposit being nonrefundable.
3. We received an invoice. Nothing on there about the deposit being nonrefundable.
4. There was no verbal statement at the time of tasting about the deposit being nonrefundable, either.
Covid happened and my fiancé and I had to reschedule. Our wedding was in May and Ohio was in a quarantine.
Forno only had Fridays. Our venue only had Fridays. So originally we reserved for a Friday in September. A day or two later we were told by our parents that the day we rescheduled for with our venue and caterer wasn’t ok because they would be in Mexico. So we rescheduled again literally two days later. There wasn’t a huge gap in time.
Finally we were scheduled for 9/11. Then we had to cancel our venue altogether because Covid was still a prominent issue and there were so many restrictions to weddings we decided to do a Saturday at our parents home and also had to cut our guest list in half. Forno informed is they would not do our 9/12 wedding on a Saturday because it wasn’t over 100 people. I asked again to be sure because we wanted to give them our business. I understood their reasoning so I relented.
Fast forward a month later I emailed them requesting our deposit and was ignored. I emailed again and was again ignored. I was cordial and polite in both emails.
So I messaged their Facebook page the same thing so I could see if the message was seen. They saw my message that morning. Since I understand people get busy I waited until 5 that day. At that time I let them know I could see they saw my message and if they preferred a phone call I would be happy to schedule a time to do that instead.
They replied with only “sorry, no refunds”
No apology for ignoring my emails or messages. Once I rebutted with the fact that was never stated and a receipt was never given they said it was a verbal commitment. That also never happened. Every correspondence in regards to a refund were done via email. And I have all of the emails.
The owner Joe was nasty. He was unrelenting and unwilling to give us our refund. It’s a shame because he has great food but has no clue how to run a business in the correct way.
If you book them make sure you get a contract or at the least a receipt for any money you give.
