    Melissa graciously helped me create the invitations for my mom's 75th birthday celebration. The party was a glorious day and key to its success was the tone that the invitations set for the party---elegance with a color & bling pop.

    I remain so humbled by Melissa's dedication to her craft. She made magic for my momma and for that, I am grateful.

    I love Formal Invitations. I wanted something unique and I couldn't find anything until I stumbled across this site. They have a very good and affordable selection of invitations for DIYers or assembled. The shipment was fast and all questions were answered promptly. I did however decide to use another invitation service as I was just overwhelmed when I tried to make my own. I still love the idea though!!

    I ordered some materials for my diy wedding invitations. They arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, one of the items sent to me was wrong but I contacted them by e-mail and received a reply that same day. The correct item was sent the next business day.

    I recently bought paper to make my own invitations from their DIY section. They had a huge selection and exactly what I wanted. Teal paper with ribbon and butterflies. The order came quickly and they got back to me quickly on information about my order.

    The service was beyond exceptional; I had a short period of time to get my invitations out, I told her what I wanted and she delivered exactly. I am most appreciative for all the assistance you offered. The layered invitations were beautiful, they were just as described and previewed on the site.     I was looking for diy invitations that could be made on recycled paper but were inexpensive and easy to assemble. I found this site and placed an order for the materials I wanted to work with. After ordering, I realized I had ordered the same color paper in different weights and was worried that I would mix them up, however they sorted and labeled everything in the box very neatly. I was impressed.

    I found the diy tutorials on their website very helpful. I also took advantage of their clearance items and some of the paper tools they provide (like the hole punch--how convenient to just have it all in the box ready to go). I highly recommend this company if you want cheap diy invites that look great!

    It was awesome to use them for making really good-looking invitations that were super cheap. It took longer than expected to get the text looking good, even though they give you a template to make it easier. my partner and I spent one good day putting the invitations together and that was that. they shipped fast, all super easy.

    two other couples, friends of ours, also used them and had great experiences. one of the couples got charged wrong, and they just notified the company and it was quickly corrected, and that couple came out feeling really positive about the company too. big thumbs up.

    We got our invites from Formal Invitation because I am very environmentally conscious and I wanted invitations that used recycled papers. This was the cheapest and nicest that I could find. The petal papers that we got are very nice. We printed the velum overlay ourselves. We sent out 100 invites and all the assembly was done in a night while watching TV. Overall, I am very happy with the invitations and with the price.

    I couldn't believe how these looked, based on the price. Looked like $5 invitations but for under $1. Yeah I had to put them together, spend a little extra time but it was worth it. Quick shipping and easy to use website.

    We got gorgeous invitations for a great price! With an online company, you don't get as much guidance and contact, but we liked the flexibility of ordering them at an hour, rather than having to take off work to meet and choose designs. They will also send you a sample if you want to see the invitation design first. They came quickly and without error, too!

    Formal-Invitations.com is a great and inexpensive website for Do-It-Yourself invitations. They provided a wide variety of invitations they could either completely make or you could do it yourself. Great prices and good quality.

    Very good value, easy to assemble invitations. They offer pre-printed as well as print-at-home. We went with vellum overlays which were a little difficult to work with; even after going to a couple print shops (e.g. Kinko's) they were hard to print on without smudging the ink. Overall good for the cost though.

    At first we thought that we were getting a great value due to their low cost and flexibility of products, but when we received our order the color of one of the products we ordered was incorrect (somewhat our fault, but the website showed a green brad rather than the orange ones we recieved.) We brought this to the company's attention and after an extended delay they shipped us replacements at no cost, however 25 fewer brads than what we had originally ordered; even though they included the original/updated packaging slip with the correct number circled. Good value, but a pain in the butt. Good thing we ordered months ahead.

    I was satisfied with the product I received once I had received it. I had some issue with ordering samples (which they charge for). Be warned they only pack samples once a week and it will take 2 weeks to get your samples even if you expedite shipping.

    I also had issues with their expedited shipping. I paid $70 for 2nd day air (which is the fastest they offer). Because I placed the order on Thursday night, the order wasn't placed until Friday. They don't ship on Saturday. So the order shipped on Monday and arrived Tuesday. This doesn't feel like 2nd day air to me. Beyond that, the two boxes got separated and I ended up having to pick them up because I had tried to expedite the process.

    Bottom line, If you are looking for good paper (lots of recycled and environmentally friendly) these guys are good. Just make sure to leave plenty of time and don't bother with the express shipping.

    Yes, the value is good for the cost, but I would never order from this site again. Due to two different issues, both of which were the fault of the vendor, our invites had to be sent out 2 weeks late. The first issue was that a clip art picture was advertised as being in a book which we then ordered, only to discover that it was not in the book. I had to contact the company, they did not get back to me for three days, and only agreed to refund my money after I mentioned it- no apology was given, although they did send the clipart via email. The second issue was when we realized that they sent only 100 envelopes when we had ordered 125 invitations! Finally, I do realize the cost is very low and you get what you pay for, but the quality of the invitations is different than what they make it seem on the website. Tis is probably obvious, as everyone has a product to sell and they want to make it look as attractive as possible, but if you are on the fence about using this vendor because you ae concerned about the final quality, I would spend the extra money and look elsewhere for invites.

    I had recieved an email confirming that I had placed and order with this company. It just stated that it would be shipped by some company, but did not say when it would be shipped or when to expect it or even gave me a tracking number. I sent an email to the company to see where my package was 10 days after I had ordered it, basically to make sure it have even been shipped. It took over a week to respond, and then only when I sent another email. My first order had been "lost" and then the second order arrived within 2 days. I really like the invitaions but the cost was way too much since I have to put them all together and print them myself. The cord that we got to go with our invitations was not nearly enough though we were told it was enough and then some. We were instructed to measure a certain length but at that length it would not even go around the invitations as described let alone make the design. I will not order again from this company.
