  Such a AWESOME wedding DJ!!

  Chris was all around just awesome from the very first conversation my wife and i had with him all the way up to the last minute of our reception! He was very flexible with everything and made sure he got exactly what we wanted! The communication was great, no misunderstanding or lack. He absolutely nailed our ceremony music and reception of course. He kept the party going and got involved and even danced with us! Just all around a great guy and DJ!

  Wonderful experience even after not seeing each other in over a year for our original cancelled wedding.

  Chris was wonderful. I worried with a small wedding that no one would be dancing, but he was able to amp it up and it was perfect.

  To put it simply, Chris is amazing!!! He met with us before the wedding to get a good idea of what kind of music we were looking for and when it came to the day of the wedding, he was on time and ready to go! He did our ceremony and reception music and it was all done perfectly! During the reception everyone was up on their feet dancing to the music - and Chris would even join in dancing from time to time! I would reccomend Formal Affair for any of your DJ needs! Thanks again Chris!!!!

  He was everything we wanted in a DJ for our wedding reception and more. He made sure to have all of the songs that we wanted played ready to go, and made sure to take requests from the guests. He even used youtube to find one of our guest's very random song request. He makes sure that everyone is having a great time, and even gets out on the dance floor and has a good time himself! He had just the right amount of guest interaction to get everyone up and moving. I have been to some receptions where the DJ seems like he is trying to hard, Chris is a complete natural at what he does. He also emailed me the day before our wedding to ask if I wanted to use his free dance floor lights since we hadn't discussed having them before. The lights really made a difference! I would recommend him to anyone! Thanks so much for making our special day even more memorable!

  Chris was the epitome of professional. He dressed in a tux day of, but before that he met us and accepted our playlist, added some comments, was very jovial, and had a great sense of humor. When we met with him before he accepted everything we directed him to do, kept things simple, was very flexible with what we wanted, and extremely personable. Younger dancers and older dancers found that they love the music and the dance floor stayed alive the entire night. The flow was perfect in everyway. We HIGHLY recommend this dj! No worries with this one. Oh! And his lighting was fantastic and totally set the mood.

  Best dj ever!

  My original DJ no called/no showed & Chris showed up and saved the day last minute!! Extremely thankful for him & the phenomenal job he did! He made sure everything went as I had hoped! Would 100/10 use him again!!

  Best DJ Ever

  Chris was beyond amazing to work with. I had some complex back and forth processional music and he flawlessly put it together. I contacted him multiple times in the last two weeks prior to our wedding to ask questions or make changes to music and he responded so quickly. More guest commented to us how amazing our DJ was than about anything else at our wedding. He is just absolutely amazing.

  Chris was a great DJ at our reception. We had request each bridal party couple be introduced to a different song; Chris was more than happy to fulfill our request and ensure that each couple came out to the correct song my husband and I requested. Chris did a great job of keeping our family and friends dancing all through our reception. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ or price ;)

  Chris was wonderful! Our wedding reception was a blast because of him, and he even tailored the music to our themed reception, which took time and planning on his part. Fortunately, he was happy to do it. Very nice guy and nice quality equipment/entertainment.

  Chris was a fantastic addition to my daughter's wedding reception. He provided us with guidance and suggestions as to how to work through the first dance, cake cutting, etc. We heard noting but rave reviews from our guests concerning the background music he played prior to the bridal party arriving at the reception location. He can read a crowd and play exactly what is needed.
  The biggest impression he made was his professional appearance and actions. He told us early on that this party was not about himself, but about the bride and groom, and he kept that promise. I would highly recommend Chris for any event and would use him again if ever a need arises.

  Great Experience!

  Chris was punctual, organized, and attentive to all the details we had discussed before the wedding! He was a fun addition to our reception!! Would definitely recommend him for any wedding and reception!!

  Chris did an AMAZING job with our ceremony music and reception! He played everything we asked and he set the mood just right for our guests. Everyone had so much fun with him and he got out there on the dance floor with us! Definitely recommend him!

  Formal Affair is awesome!

  Great Dj, very wide variety of music and as well as very involved! Announcements sound great, music is great! Keeps the party going as well as joins in beside you! Very awesome guy, affordable.   Chris was the perfect DJ. He made our wedding fun and laid back. I would have invited him to my wedding if he wasn't the one playing the music. So easy to work with even planning a wedding over 5 hours away. Everything ran smooth and he made it look so easy. He performed my ceremony music and receptions music. Top notch equipment and a very nice man. He is there to please the bride and groom and does an excellent job at it. He was there early to set up and even stayed late because the party kept going. You guys would be lucky to have him.

  Best DJ hands down

  Chris was so easy to work with! He was always willing to meet or discuss details at any time. He even took time to come out to the property beforehand since our venue was all outdoors to ease our minds about sound logistics. He made us feel completely assured. It was important to me that everyone had a great time on the dance floor. He did that and more. He kept the party alive! His personality was top notch and even interacted with the crowd. I will recommend Chris over and over, he made our day better than I imagined. It is clear that this is way more than just a job to Chris. He has a passion for what he does.

  Absolutely fantastic!!!

  Chris made our wedding night everything we wanted and more. He is so knowledgeable and his experience in this industry was so helpful to my husband and I, who planned our whole wedding without a planner. I would recommend Chris to anyone looking for a DJ for any event. He is amazing!

  Chris is THE DJ to have for any event. He was most accomodating and flexible. Because where the event was held had no phone service I wasnt able to email him a playlist and I was really concerned about what he was going to play. My husband met with him while he was setting up and discussed music choices. Chris did everything perfect he played the perfect music with out having a clue to what I wanted and he kept the party going with dancing too. I would reccomend Formal Affair Professional DJ services, LLC to anyone who wanted a carefree, wonderful experience. I will definitely be using him again for another event!! Thanks Chris!!

  Amazing DJ

  I honestly was impressed after meeting with Chris. It is very rare to find someone who genuinely enjoys their job and his passion shines through. The whole reception no one stopped dancing and he made sure of that. I cannot recommend his services enough!

  Chris was a phenomenal DJ...as always. My sister contracted him for her wedding reception DJ back in 2009. Since then, he has been the DJ at two other weddings I have attended and most recently, the DJ at my wedding this past August. After dealing with all the other stresses that comes to planning a wedding, Chris was an absolute breath of fresh air. He was incredibly easy to work with and contacting him was never a problem. He responded to my many emails within minutes of sending them. At the reception, he was unbelievable. He never missed a beat and played many of the songs on my playlist. Being that he is a musician himself, he did a great job cutting and editing our first dance and mother-son dances. He was also great about taking requests from our guests. His Master of Ceremony skills are unbeatable and so inviting to our guests. One of my favorite things about Chris is that he always seems like he is having a great time doing his job! He joins in and teaches the line dances and always has a smile on his face. I would recommend Chris time and time again!

  Chris Wagner provided the DJ service for our wedding on April 22, 2011 at the Embassy Suites on Verdae. Both my husband and I are from Bavaria and he incorporated German and Bavarian Songs for us. He found out quickly what the guests danced to most and he kept the crowd going and having fun until late into the night. Everyone had a great time and the dance floor rarely was empty. Wonderful, wonderful wedding reception thanks to Chris Wagner! Friends of ours actually asked Chris for his business card for a future event they will be having. We would hire Chris Wagner anytime again. Great service, very professional, very personable and reasonable all at the same time :-) Thanks Chris for making our day a wonderful memory!

  We're not music people, so we were so glad to have found Chris. He took it all from our hands with just a couple of suggestions of things we generally like and dislike. He accommodated all of our very strange requests, from a specific version of the Tarantella (Italian wedding dance), to a spur of the moment download of a Bavarian Oktoberfest classic. He led us in the line dances, and just made the party happen. We had a small wedding of about 85 people, but most of the time, every single person was on the dance floor! Thanks, Chris!!

  Chris did a wonderful job getting the party started at our wedding reception not only with his DJ services but by getting out and dancing with the crowd! We are so glad we selected him as our DJ! The dance floor was full!
