Absolutely Amazing
Kathy's work is absolutely beautiful. My wedding flowers were perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. She was easy to work with and her years of experience were a huge help in narrowing down exactly what I wanted in my wedding flowers. I can't thank her enough for her beautiful work! -

Gorgeous Flowers
Kathy was a dream to work with. We were living in Vegas during all of our planning for a wedding that was occurring in New Wilmington, PA. We chose Kathy's business through Wedding Wire because we were impressed by the reviews and photographs displayed. She went above and beyond what I could have imagined. Even through a pandemic, her communication and kindness was incredible. Her passion for what she does is so evident. I had wanted blue mason jars for our center pieces. Mason jars were incredibly difficult to find because of the pandemic. I told Kathy clear would be fine. She was persistent and found me the exact jars I wanted!! The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! I am preserving my bouquet, so this beautiful part of our day will last forever. My only disappointment was not being able to talk to Kathy and vocalize my appreciation for her the day of our wedding. I was completely scattered brain. I would highly recommend Kathy to anyone! -

I can't say enough about working with Kathy. My husband and I planned our wedding from living out of state, which means I was never able to meet with Kathy in person until the day of our wedding! We mostly communicated through email throughout the planning process, and she was always so prompt and thorough. She made what can be a very difficult process so easy! And our flowers were absolutely stunning. I was so in love with my bouquet and got so many compliments on all of the floral arrangements at the venue! Not to mention I found her prices to be very reasonable. -

Having Forget-Me-Not-Flowers do our wedding flowers was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Not only were the bouquets and arrangements absolutely gorgeous, Kathy was extremely helpful to me when I was overwhelmed and unsure about my many options. She helped me decide what flowers to use, get the best price possible, and she made the process very simple, including bringing the bouquets to our site and attaching the floral arrangements to the arch for us. Loved my flowers!
Kathy was so great to work with and I really loved my flowers for our wedding. I am not an expert on wedding flowers and I was very general when explaining what I wanted and Kathy really made my vision come to life! She did all of our bouquets and centerpieces and couldn't have done a better job. She was easy to work with, professional, and I would recommend to anyone! -

Wonderful Florist with Close Attention to Detai
We loved the centerpieces that Kathy at Forget Me Not Flowers created for our event! I really appreciated her working with me and being so patient with my requests as I was planning our event from afar and was unable to meet with her in person. Our family is from Florida so I wanted to somehow incorporate oranges into our florals which Kathy was able to do. We received so many compliments and everyone loved the touch of home with the oranges added in. It was exactly what we were looking for! -

Kathy was very easy to work with! I sent her my Pinterest board and she sent me a few ideas and quotes for the 2 different flowers I had pinned. She kept me updated throughout the whole process. I was able to pick up my flowers a few days before my wedding which made my already stressful week a lot less hectic!

Kathy was wonderful to work with! We got our bouquets and centerpieces from Forget Me Not Flowers. I sent her pictures of the bouquets and centerpieces and had no idea what kind of flowers they were. She made great recommendations and they looked exactly like the pictures I sent her!
She was always super responsive and the prices were way batter than other places I got quoted from. If you want beautiful, quality flowers, go with Forget Me Not Flowers! -

She got my vision down exactly and told me about a deep burgundy rose that I did not even know existed. Her pricing was so fair compared to other florists and the work was fantastic. Nichole Sent on 07/06/2016Wow, wow, wow!!! How can I say enough wonderful things about Forget Me Not Flowers and its brainchild, Kathy Oravitz. First of all, Kathy will meet with you and help you plan everything exactly according to your own vision and needs. I gave her a budget that I had to work with, and she helped me to make choices that would both complete my vision and keep me within my budget. She is so down to earth and friendly too!! You can count on her to reply in a timely fashion to your emails and questions. I know I had a million questions and she was always so willing to listen to my ideas, give expert advice, and always did it with a pleasant and helpful tone. When I arrived at the ceremony on my wedding day, I'll never forget how gorgeous the bouquet was that Kathy handed to me. All of my bridesmaids bouquets were crafted to perfection as well. My dad even commented to me later about how kind and helpful Kathy was as we waited to walk down the aisle! (She made sure we were all perfect and stayed to make sure of it). The reception was a dream come true!!! I wanted all of my tables to be different (yes, you read that correctly---32 different centerpieces!!!), so Kathy let me bring all of the vases, lanterns, birdcages, etc. that I collected to her and she created the most magical and individual arrangements that also carried the vision through the entire venue. Each was unique, and yet each centerpiece looked gorgeous next to the others. She even did an arrangement in a jewelry box I had given her and in an army car (Military wedding :) for our sweetheart table! Kathy goes above and beyond in the months leading up to your big day and on the day of as well!! Furthermore, she will work within your budget to help you have a wedding that is both gorgeous and reasonable! Even if the drive seems a little far from Pittsburgh, I'm telling you---take the time to make a trip out to see Kathy!! You won't regret it!!! -

Horrible experience!
I reached out to the owner a few days after my wedding to give some feedback on my flowers and explained the bouquets were not what I asked for. I sent her an inspiration picture and stated I love it but with terracotta, orange, beige and fall colors. My bouquets showed up with all white, peach and pink roses. It looked like it was for a spring wedding in October. I have never in 33 years of my life dealt with such unprofessionalism with someone. As the conversation went on, she became more rude and defensive with me. I was very mature when I reached out and I didn’t even ask for a refund but for some understanding that the flowers weren’t what I wanted. I have worked in customer service my whole life and a bridal makeup artist for over 10 years. You don’t treat a customer that way, no matter how frustrated or angry you get. Very disappointing experience for my wedding to say the least. The owner was extremely defensive, rude, and unprofessional. They took zero accountability and claim she offered a refund, which she barely did, and I wasn’t asking for one. When I sent screenshots of what WE discussed for my flowers she did not acknowledge them. Brides steer clear- there’s so many more florists out there that will listen to you and have WAY more of any understanding for your special day! -

Forgotten floral arrangements, fake greenery, “silk” roses (if they even were silk) that were crusty from being painted, unwearable corsages, and the worst experience I've ever had as a customer in my life. I called her office phone four times over the course of 5 days to find out what happened with my missing flowers, and she responded by threatening her lawyer... twice.
Kathy broke the first line in her contract when she had another wedding on my wedding day. Kathy's words on how it works when you book her as your florist: "I ask for a $50.00 deposit to hold your date. With that deposit I don’t book anyone else, and it’s deducted from your total once all decisions are made." She dropped off my flowers early in the morning (the flowers sat for 6 hours before my ceremony even started), and rushed off to do another wedding. I finally got an explanation from her as to why she broke her contract by doing another wedding on the same day as ours, and her response was as follows: “FYI-There is something called COVID- a lot of brides had to reschedule to this year. So YES. If I want to take on another wedding I CAN DO THAT... Get the **** over it already.” Unfortunately, that was the only issue with my wedding that I managed to get an explanation for. The missing flower arrangements, while I added them before her deadline for additions, were simply forgotten #humanerror. Fine, it happens. But had she not been at another wedding she may have been able to remedy the situation. Instead, I had to take apart my bridesmaids bouquets so my loved ones weren't left with nothing.
We rented vases from her with a deposit check of $60 that was to be returned to us when she got her vases back. Kathy's wording: “when I get them back I give you the check back." Kathy had her vases back less than 24 hours after my wedding, and still she went and deposited the money that was supposed to be returned to us when she got her vases back. She has since refunded that money and the money for the missing items.
After seeking an explanation for everything else that went wrong (fake greenery, crusty, painted "silk" roses, etc.) and an apology for how she treated me, I was left without either. Instead, Kathy responded with the following inspiring messages:
“You're married.. Get OVER IT”
“You need to grow up and move on. Your reviews on google are laughable and have been reported. I feel sorry for your husband. I give you less than a year... Move on honey. ;)”
“You are a lunatic. LOL There I said it. You are blocked from my facebook page. You really have a problem..as my florists friends stated when i wrote about all your little comments.. A *********..lunatic..best one was..aww the honeymoon is over and she’s already tired of washing her husbands underwear. LOL!"
I really wish I had known the kind of person I was hiring to help with the most important day of my life. Absolutely disgusting to talk to another human being that way, let alone someone you wronged.
