This movie themed popcorn bucket cake was PERFECTION & THE BEST cake & most beautiful creation I've ever had! My son was so, so very happy with it & he (as well as me & my husband) could not believe that it wasn't a real bag of popped popcorn! He asked for a hyper-realistic cake & girl, you definitely made his wish come true! Your talent is out of this world! The cake is sooooo MOIST, FLAVORFUL, DELICIOUS & was PERFECT in every way! You definitely would win the "Is It Cake" show, hands down! I am soooo happy & thankful I found you. I know who to contact when we are in need of another cake for a big special occasion. For the Love of Cake did such an amazing job on our wedding cake. The cake was beautiful and tasted great! They were also very flexible with changes based on head-count (which is much appreciated). Such a fun team to work with :)

From the start, Taylor was amazing to work with! We communicated quite a bit back and forth about what my daughter desired, and she was more than willing to accommodate requests and adjustments. Then the ultimate adjustment--the wedding was cancelled the day before the wedding due to Hurricane Irma. Taylor and For the Love of Cake was so incredibly kind and compassionate to us. They absorbed whatever costs had been incurred for the first cakes, and agreed to provide the same for the rescheduled date. The cakes were everything my daughter and her now-husband dreamed they would be, and this mom-of-the-bride couldn't be more pleased. I can't recommend them highly enough!! They were absolutely a delight to work with.

Best affordable cake ever! We had a juguars themed/color cake! The cake was delicious and it looked amazing! They were easy to talk to and very professional! All of out guests, especiall the kids, loved our chocolate, hazel cake! Thank you so much!

I'm basing my review on our guests due to the venue we were unable to taste any of our cake. From our tasting we knew this place was going to be good. We had such a hard time picking flavors they were all delicious. We opted for 3 different layers, our topper we will get to taste in a year so looking forward to that. Our lemon layer with cream cheese filling was a little dry according to some guests but the almond with raspberry filling was the best cake they ever had. I hope our strawberry topper layer turns out just as good. Either way I would still recommend this vendor.

The groom's cake was served at the wedding rehearsal dinner. They made an alligator cake that was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

For our wedding the venue was to supply the cake but we found out the chef would be on vacation and unable to create anything for us. Our wedding planner suggested Taylor at For the Love of Cake and we couldn't have been more pleased!! She was wonderful to work with and we received such great compliments on how outstandingly yummy the cake was! I would use them again in a heart beat, our cake turned out just as I had imaged!

I am not a big cake eater, but I new my guests would be, and I wanted to use a local small business so I found For The Love Of Cake and now I am a HUGE cake eater! The cake was ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY the most fantastic part of the evening. It was perfectly gorgeous and I got more compliments on the taste of it than I ever imagined! We overestimated the amount of guests that were coming and had to order a lot more cake than guests we had, but it didn't matter- all but my top tier were gone by the end of the night! People came back for seconds and I am POSITIVE people came back for thirds too. Absolutely delicious.
Not to mention, the ladies were sweet enough to make my husband and me a custom cake topper to look like our dog, since our dog is such a big part of our life but wasn't able to be there. They NAILED it. It looked just like her, and it made me cry when I saw it. We will forever have a keepsake of our beautiful and delicious cake thanks to the cake topper, and it was a sweet way to have our dog there with us in spirit!
The ladies were incredibly wonderful to work with, responsive to emails, and overall excited to be doing our cake for us. I intend on recommending them to all my friends who are becoming engaged!

For The Love of Cake is amazing! We had a grooms cake for our dinner rehearsal and a custom cake designed for our wedding. We met with Taylor and she loved our idea of stacked suitcases wedding cake. Using our accent colors they made the suitcases still look elegant and perfect for a wedding. When anyone asked for details about the wedding my groom always talks about the cake and shows everyone photos. His grooms cake was a two layered Yankee jersey and very perfect for the dinner rehearsal.
The cake itself was so delicious! For the grooms cake we selected pound cake with strawberry filling. For our wedding cake we selected almond cake with raspberry filling. I've also used For The Love of Cake for my daughter's birthday. We can't say enough great things and we love these creative cakes!

For the Love of Cake did an amazing job on our wedding cake and grooms cake! The cake was not only beautiful but it was absolutely delicious. The wedding cake was almond cake with raspberry filling and chocolate cake with raspberry filling. The Jayhawks grooms cake was red velvet with cheesecake filling. We had so many people eat multiple pieces so they could try each kind because it was so good! Taylor is amazing to work with! I would recommend this bakery to anyone! I tell everyone about how great the owner Taylor is, and how I knew she was the only bakery I wanted after going to multiple wedding cake consultations. She was the last consultation I went to and within 5 minutes of meeting her I knew my search was over. In the end the cake was beautiful, and all my guests loved the white, lemon, and carrot cake flavors. Couldn't be happier with this bakery!

FTLOC was wonderful! I mainly worked with Taylor throughout the entire process, but this place is family owned and everyone is truly a joy to work with! FTLOC impressed me from start to finish. They were kind of enough to send me home with a box FULL of samples for my fiancé and I to try. Taylor was open to all of my ideas, and once I delivered some photos of my dream cake she took it from there and produced EXACTLY what I asked for. Not to mention our guests raved about how delicious our cake was (at the reception and weeks after!). If you need a cake for any occasion go to For The Love of Cake, you will be in excellent hands!

These guys did an amazing job on our cake(s). They also did our grooms cake in which they were able to replicate a personal item and make the cake that much more special for us. Everyone complimented us on our cake. They did an excellent job.

The best cake I've ever had. Even our photographer who does weddings and travels around to other states said this was the best cake she has ever had too. This is the second time I have used for the love of cake and we are beyond pleased. Will always use her for our special events.

I am so happy with our decision to hire For the Love of Cake! We went to a few cake tastings at various local bakeries and were dissatisfied until we came across For the Love of Cake. Not only are their cakes beautiful, they are delicious as well! So many bakeries in Jacksonville make beautiful wedding cakes that lack in flavor, but not For the Love of Cake. The cake they made for our wedding far exceeded our already high expectations. It was stunning! Our guests raved about it. The entire staff is extremely nice as well and made the entire process fun and exciting. I highly recommend this bakery!

I loved everything about my cake. The presentation and taste were perfect! It was all I asked for and more. Everyone enjoyed myself (and afterwards too with all of the leftovers :) They delivered on time and were able to place the flowers just how I asked them. Thank you for everything!!

I sent a pictures of what I wanted and they were able to make what I wanted come alive. They even made some sketches to give me more ideas for the cake including color and different textures. If I ever need a cake for another special event For the Love of Cake is the only cake place for me. They overly exceeded my expectations.

Our cake was amazing! Not only was the flavor great, For the Love of Cake was able to create a design that fit perfectly with the feel of the evening. The cake was truly stunning! (And along with the table styling, my wedding planner proclaimed it her favorite cake table ever and our wedding was her 100th event!). The sugar detailing was incredible. From the first email contact through cake delivery, working with Taylor was great. She was very attentive to all our questions, which were many considering we were planning our Florida wedding from New York. Taylor even arranged for a cake tasting box for my sister who lived locally.

The best part was having left over cake for breakfast the next morning. It was still delicious!

Trying to find a wedding cake while living in a different state can be very difficult. For The Love of Cake works with every bride far and near. Guests are still talking about how amazing the cake was, we didn't even get the chance to do a tasting to pick our choices!
