From the moment we decided to throw a wedding reception, we knew we needed a band that could create the perfect atmosphere. Follow The Sun not only created that atmosphere but made the whole process of getting a band feel seamless. Their communication was timely, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful. Sophie and Ricky are two of the nicest, genuine people you’ll ever meet—they truly cared about making our day everything we hoped for. They not only helped us build a detailed timeline but really made sure they understood the atmosphere we were trying to create. They also made themselves available to answer every question we had whether that was via teams or via email (and we had a lot).
When the big day arrived, the band was simply incredible. Fun, energetic, and totally engaging—they sounded amazing and kept the dance floor packed……..they even got people on the dance floor who I never guessed would have been. The energy was electric, and their performance felt more like a concert than a reception.
Months later, we are still hearing from our guests that “the band you got was incredible” and “your band killed it”. Follow the Sun brought the party to life and made the night unforgettable. They were professional, easy to work with, and just so much fun.
We’re forever fans and so happy we decided to drive out to Billy’s Martini Bar to watch them play before booking another band. If you’re looking for a band that will absolutely jam out and create the perfect atmosphere for a reception – Follow the Sun is it. -

From the moment we booked Follow the Sun for our wedding, their communication was always timely, helpful and knowledgeable. They were incredibly kind throughout the entire planning process, and helped us put together a very detailed timeline to keep the night running smoothly. Sophie listened to all of our requested and even surprise requests too!
On the day of, the band was simply incredible - fun, energetic and engaging. They sounded amazing and made sure to play every song we requested, as well as some great in-the-moment additions that kept our guests dancing all night long. All of our guests raved about how much fun the band was and what a great time they had. Each member of Follow the Sun was beyond kind, and you could tell they truly wanted to make our day perfect.
They were the perfect party-starting band, our guests were truly on the dance floor the entire night. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to make their wedding an unforgettable celebration. -

Follow the Sun was a dream wedding band for us. Our wedding was at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and this group really brought the whole thing together with their incredible sound and skills as a rock band. We wanted something fitting the space and something different than the typical DJ setup - and the classic rock sound they bring was absolutely perfect. They learned some songs specifically for us and had a fantastic repertoire of songs to choose from for their overall setlist. My bride, now wife, also played a song with them on stage!
They are kind, sweet people that really went above and beyond for us - I can't believe they provided the level of service and performance that they did amidst all the other events and shows they must do. If yall are looking for a wedding band - these are your people!! -

Our wedding would not have been the best night ever if it wasnt for Follow the Sun and I mean it! Our wedding was on the smaller side but you would have thought we had 300 people on the dancefloor as it was PACKED from start to end. Not only are they talented but they were fun, professional and easy to work with. We have (multiple) people telling us a month later that our music/dancing was one of the best parts of any wedding they have attended. We are forever fans and are so thankful to them for such an amazing night. -

Follow the Sun was the PERFECT way to bring in the New Year. From my initial correspondence with Sophie, I just knew they were the right fit for our rowdy 270+ crowd. Sophie’s communication and professionalism is top-notch. While you always have difficulties with some vendors, Follow the Sun was not one of them.
I would absolutely recommend starting your evening with Laura, Sophie and Gene performing at your ceremony. Richie is a natural emcee and he really took the time to learn to pronounce some of our difficult last names. One of the things that drew me in about Follow the Sun was their amazing setlist. It’s been almost 2 months since our wedding and people are STILL talking about them! We had a wide array of music fans in attendance and the dance floor was packed the entire night. No one wanted the night to end!!!! They definitely made some new fans at our wedding and I know of multiple groups that already have plans to see them perform this year. They’re definitely made groupies out of Jason and I!
I can’t begin to thank them enough. I could shout it from the rooftop: if you want a band for your wedding, THIS IS THE BAND TO BOOK!

INCREDIBLE! They were absolutely incredible! We cannot put into words how amazing they made our wedding ceremony and reception! We still have people tell us that they are the best band they've ever seen and we agree. The dance floor was packed the entire night and their song catalog is vast and performed amazingly. It really felt like we were at a concert that night. It was awesome!
Sophie and Richie are two of the nicest people you will meet and truly cared about making our wedding everything we dreamed! They communicated with us often and made sure all the details were in place for the entire night. We can't imagine what it would have been like without Follow the Sun and we cannot recommend them enough.
It was truly an amazing time thanks to them. 1000% recommend. 5/5 stars -

Talented, easy to work with, memorable wedding band!
We saw Follow the Sun at a friend's wedding in Cleveland and had SO much fun on the dance floor that we hired FTS for our own out-of-state wedding! They easily navigating planning with us- even for an out of town wedding- and even provided valuable insights on the flow of the day. Their acoustic trio played beautifully for our ceremony and the band rocked it for the reception. They are extremely talented singers and musicians and play a variety of songs- EVERY SONG IS SO GOOD- they will keep you and your guests on the dance floor all night long! They have fun and are flexible to last minute changes. They are organized- sound and lighting were ideal- and know how to make your special day extra fun. Our guests (and vendors) are STILL raving about how amazing this band was and we can't wait to see them again! Highly recommend this band for your wedding or other special event! :) -

Sophie and Ricky and the whole band went above and beyond to prepare for our wedding. The punctuality was always there and we knew during the planning phase that a quick answer was never more than an email away. From the first time we made contact, we knew we were making a good decision by hiring them.
Then before we knew it it was the wedding day. The band was there early setting up multiple sounds systems for both the live set and the ceremony/cocktail hour as we had discussed multiple times by that point. Ricky was a lively and fun MC for the formalities. And then it was time for the live set and it all broke loose.
I don't know whether it was the crowd we had invited or what but I have NEVER seen a wedding dance floor get so lit up like it did at our event. The stage presence, the musicianship, and the setlist we made from their massive catalog of songs received the highest marks not just from us, but ALL of our guests. Shirts were coming off. High heel shoes were flying across the room from all directions. Old folks were dancing like they were 30 years younger. It was 4 hours of bedlam out there and we were loving every second of it.
After the event was over and everyone was cleaning up, our event coordinator for the venue pulled us aside and mentioned that she was so impressed with how professional, fun, and easy to work with Follow The Sun was, especially since it was their first time MC-ing an event at the venue.
If you are planning a wedding and want it to get LIVE at your event, we cannot recommend Follow the Sun any more. If you want your wedding that you've worked so hard for to be the biggest party of the year, compromise elsewhere and hire this band over a DJ. Seriously, just do it.

We hired Follow the Sun for our wedding ceremony and reception in the beginning of June this year! It was honestly the best choice! You can feel their passion for the love they have for music and putting on a great performance through their vocals, sick guitar playing and willingness to learn a few songs that you want to add that aren’t in their song list ( which is an impressive list)! Their communication throughout the whole planning process was on point and they made us feel confident our wedding day went as discussed and seamlessly. I highly recommend Follow the Sun for any event and will be hiring them for future gatherings. Thank you so much for going above and beyond! -
