Unique, classy, wonderful shop experience.

I recently purchased my dress from this location, and had a wonderful experience. Shout out to Tyler who helped find dresses that were exactly what I was looking for. I had visited another shop earlier in the afternoon and was convinced I found "the one", but when I came here and saw their collection (a majority of which are designed in-house!) I knew I was in trouble. I found so many dresses that I fell in love with, and I am so thrilled with the one that I purchased. Colby and Tyler were so helpful and gave great advice, and were so personable with my party. If you are in MN you must visit this store. You will find something special.

Wow!! I'm so happy with my experience!

I was so nervous walking into my appointment but Katherine made the experience so easy! It only took trying on 2 dresses before I found "the one". Wearing it made me feel like I could light up the entire room; words alone can't express how happy I am. Thank you so much!

Stress-free experience, full of laughs support finding The Dress!

Thank you for such an amazing experience on this big day. Abbi was such a pleasure to work with. From the moment we walked in, she was welcoming, professional, and a wonderful sounding board as I tried on a handful of dresses on the journey to find "my style". Easiest Shopping Experience Ever!

I loved my experience! It was so easy to find my dream dress. I was planning on going to multiple places but I loved that I found my dress at Flutter! Talia was so great and I would definitely recommend any future bride to get her wedding dress here! I am so happy and excited about my dress!

I Wish I Could Wear My Dress Everyday

I went to flutter with my sisters and after trying on THE dress for the first time, they all started crying. I knew it was the one. My dress was so unique and fit my body type very well. Kirby was spot on when ordering my dress size. It fit my almost perfectly (other than length). We were given champagne to celebrate purchasing my dress! The venue is incredible with great natural lighting.

Seriously the best shop in the whole Metro (and surrounding). I started my day at the Wedding Shoppe, a little disappointed, and ended the day popping the champagne at Flutter. They were so laid back and relaxed and there to make me happy. I picked out 5 dresses to try on first and as I tried on dresses, my consultant started bringing in even better dresses for me. In the end I picked a top of one dress and a bottom of another both by Aria out of Los Angeles. Can't wait until March to see the final product. So thankful for the great ladies at Flutter!

Great wedding dress selection, but also wasn’t overly pushy. We got my dress in their previous location in Uptown, but by the time the dress came in they had moved to their new location on St. Anthony Main, which is such a beautiful spot! We had gone to a few different dress shops before Flutter, but couldn’t find a dress that really matched everything I was looking for until Flutter. We were able to find a dress that I loved but didn’t break the budget, and they were so helpful with adding a few accessories and the right veil that really made the whole thing come together. I can’t tell you how many people came up to me at the wedding and said “this dress is SO you”. Excellent selection, great staff, beautiful dresses. I would definitely recommend them!

I had the BEST first experience of wedding dress shopping here. Alyssa made me feel super comfortable and was very patient. Right when you walk in the atmosphere is perfect. The lighting, the music and most importantly the people were beyond my expectations!! I would highly highly recommend visiting Flutter Boutique!!

I had a pretty small dress budget but I saw a sample dress on Flutter's website that I wanted to try on. Laura was so helpful from the first email conversation forward. I was worried that since I was only looking at samples I would be ignored, but my experience was the exact opposite! I was the only appointment on a weekday evening and received Laura's full attention which was an nice change of pace after being at the Wedding Shoppe on a Saturday. I found the perfect dress for an amazing deal and popped the champagne :)

I bought my dress at Flutter and I can only speak highly of them! This is the second shop that I went to, and they just made me feel so comfortable and beautiful! They have one stylist assigned to you that gives you all the attention you need and we had so much fun at the same time! They have a large selection of dresses and many unique ones as well, so it's easy to find what you're looking for!

I constantly rave about these ladies & Flutter Boutique. I keep posting on the Minnesota Bride facebook page or if anyone asks where to get their dress FLUTTER, DUH! They made me feel like the one and only bride they were helping & allowed me to have the perfect dress experience. From bridal consultant, Karli, empathizing & listening to me vent about my ridiculous experience at Posh where they tried to have me buy a dress $1,000 out of my budget, and since I could not afford that asking me to call my fiancé to put it on his credit card, & telling my consultant at a&bè I wanted a 2 piece dress & they didn't select any of 2 pieces as my 5 dresses I could try in my appt. To then, Karli, finding EXACTLY what I asked for in the most unconventional & creative way. And also putting up with me & my family who then came back when my grandma was in town with my aunts and let us try on my dress & pop champagne for our "say yes" celebration. And Kolby, helping me with trying to find the perfect headpiece offering to let me borrow one if I needed to since it was down to the wire & the one I had wasn't working with my hair trial. Honestly, I felt like family, my mom & sisters felt like family! You girls are so amazing & I am so so so happy I stumbled upon your shop on a random slow Friday when you were about to close early.

Flutter was the first place I went to when trying on wedding dresses. They made the experience so wonderful that everything after that paled in comparison. We were given a private room and Kirby was so great and finding dresses that fit my style and budget. Not wanting to get the first dress I tried on we went to the Wedding Shoppe, A & Be and Posh Bridal in Wayzata. The latter two were fine experiences, the Wedding Shoppe was not. The whole Flutter staff was wonderful, replied to emails quickly and made me feel like a valued individual and not just another random person they were looking to make a sale with.

I loved my experience with Flutter! From the very beginning they were responsive and flexible with setting up my appointment. During our first appointment the owner Kolby made the day so much fun offering us champagne and scones. She was extremely knowledgeable and did a fantastic job helping me choose dresses that were in my price range. I would highly recommend making an appointment at Flutter. I recently recommended a friend and she found the dress of her dreams there as well :)

My first (and last) stop wedding dress shopping was Flutter because they had several of the bridesmaid dresses that also come in white. I didn't really want a full on wedding dress due to the less formal wedding we were planning. They let me try on all the different versions without trying to sway me to an actual wedding dress. However, there happened to be a truck show happening with a discount and I found an actual wedding dress that was so unique and fit me so well. I am still getting compliments from people on my dress. I even had strangers taking pictures of me on my wedding day! Pickup was super easy and they gave a great recommendation for alterations and discount for cleaning. The process with Flutter was simple, stress free, and fun!

I just had my wedding on 7/10/15 and not only was I so in love with my wedding dress from Flutter Boutique, but I received multiple compliments from guests and vendors wanting to know where I got the dress. The team at Flutter Boutique made shopping for a wedding dress so much fun. They were so helpful and accommodating from when I first walked in the door to try on dresses, to when I picked up my wedding dress. I went to multiple stores where I did not get nearly as much attention or have nearly as positive of an experience. I am so happy that I said yes to the dress at Flutter Boutique! The dress was unique and affordable for my budget, and the service could not have been better. Thank you for making me feel like such a beautiful Flutter Bride!

Great atmosphere for dress shopping! The location has a cool loft/studio feel and we were greeted with mimosas to help make the day feel extra special.

Birgetta assisted with my dress shopping experience. She was very knowledgeable of the dress designers and was able to pair just the right accessory with the dress to really make it shine. So impressed with my experience!

I loved my experience at Flutter. It was low key, personal, and their bridal selection was fantastic. I never felt an ounce of pressure to make a decision or try a dress that I didn't like. In fact, I walked around the store and picked out each dress myself (which not all shops allow you to do). I spent $370 on my gown and it was gorgeous.I was extremely happy with my choice and would recommend it to anyone!

I had the most wonderful experience at Flutter! I have been on both sides; bride and bridesmaid; and they have never disappointed me! Their collection of dresses is current and fashion forward. They offer the option to go the traditional route, or to get creative with mix and match. The consultants clearly love being there, and know what they are talking about. Having your own private room is a huge plus, and allowed for us to really make it an event!

Thank you for continuing to make a process that could be painful and very stressful incredibly fun and memorable! I will continue to recommend Flutter to any and every bride!

Flutter is the place to be when it comes to finding your perfect bridesmaid dress! Ruthie personally helped me and my bridal party find the perfect dress. I told her where my wedding was, what time of day the wedding would be, and the inspiration of my wedding. She helped me make my vision come true with the beautiful Jenny Yoo 'Aidan' dress!! She gave us space to try on dresses and think about them, and also helped out my maids get fitted just right in the dresses. They also served us mimosas on top of that! Would highly recommend Flutter!!

Flutter was great to work with. I initially stopped at David's Bridal for bridesmaid dresses, but they just didn't have quite what I was looking for. We headed to Flutter next, and they had a lot of stuff that I wanted to wear! Obviously, as the one getting married, I couldn't, but they still looked great on the bridesmaids.

One of our bridesmaids was pregnant and was going to have her baby before the wedding, but after the time period where it would be feasible to place an initial order for her dress. So we had to forge ahead and guess at her size, with some help from the associate (I think it was Sammi?). After her son was born, the dress ended up being too small, so Flutter worked with us to order extra fabric from the manufacturer and let her stop in to decide where to add an extra panel. It was nice to have them helping out on this. And again, the dresses looked really great.

We found our beautiful bridesmaid dresses at Flutter. We told them how we were going for the mismatched/variety look throughout our dresses and they were so excited to help. They listened to us and fully understood the look we were going for. Although we were already convinced we were buying through them, they told us about an upcoming Amsale trunk sale (we chose the Amsale line) where we would save a lot on the dresses. They booked an appointment for my girls to order during the show and handled everything wonderfully.

The bridesmaid dresses were may favorite part of the look of the wedding! One of the bridesmaid was from Germany and wasn't able to get shoes the right color in time, so Michelle loaned her a pair of shoes for the day.

Wow this darling little boutique has got it going on!! :) It is warm and welcoming. The bridesmaid dresses are unique in a way that make them much more stylish than any other bridesmaid dresses I could find out there! I went to so many places and my sister had to try on so many dresses but no one was able to produce like Flutter was. The dress we settled on WAS GORGEOUS and my ladies were stunning on the day of the wedding!

On top of it the staff are so friendly and are so accommodating. Any questions I had I could just send an email and they would get back to me with a thorough answer in less than 24 hours. The owner, Michelle, was so flexible in making sure that we were satisfied with our purchases and made it so easy for my bridesmaid of whom none were living in the Twin Cities! The price of our dresses was more than I had originally hoped to spend, BUT since we ordered our dresses Michelle has picked up several more lines in VERY affordable price ranges (and still with so much style)... ie in the under $150 price range. Not to mention they carry tuxes for the guys, super cute dresses for MoB/MoG, and awesome Bridal gowns. The bridal gowns looked to be mostly under $1000 and were very simple in style but so sweet and beautiful. If you are doing a destination wedding or working on a budget or just want a dress in that price range that is prettier than huge places like David's Bridal, Flutter AGAIN is the GO TO!! And I guess I am not the only person who feels that way, since they won "Best Attendant Dresses" in Minnesota by Minnesota Bride magazine two years in a row! Go FLUTTER!

This was one of the most fun vendors we worked with. Basically, you set up an appointment to try on bridesmaid dresses with your girls for about an hour. The store is open only for one group at a time. They help you narrow down your choices and give you a little swatch card and as a bride, your job is done once you choose a dress style. They take care of getting your bridesmaids sized, getting their payment info and shipping the dresses to them once they arrive. It was so much fun. The only negative, which isn't terribly negative, is that the dresses are fairly high-end, but you get what you pay for.

I loved the experience with Flutter. When I had my dress appointment, my girls and I were the only ones in the boutique. it made for a much more intimate experience. The dresses were fantastic, did not look like the cheap wedding/bridesmaid dresses we had seen at other stores. The quality of the dresses are much better than other places. They were great!

I purchased my Heidi Elnora wedding gown from Flutter on my second visit to the shop. I originally chose to make appointments at Flutter for my sister and I to get some vision for bridesmaids dresses. We made appointments for both of us and had a lot of fun trying on bridal and bridesmaid attire. I couldn't possibly agree to a dress without my mother present and so we made another appointment a few months later when she would be visiting. It happened to coincide with a Heidi Elnora trunk show. It was so fun to share the experience with three generations of women in my family. Meeting the designer and having an original sketch of my dress made it even more special. The space is warm and inviting, the staff very friendly and professional, with Kendall going out of her way to make sure I was comfortable amid all of the emotions from my family members. I was married in Minnesota, but moved to California shortly after choosing my dress. Flutter was really flexible about pickup times and gave an excellent recommendation for alterations (Sharon Pothen - Twin Cities Bridal Alterations). My only complaint is that my sister felt a little uncomfortable while trying on bridesmaid dresses as she is curvy and has a very large chest. Most of the dresses were in sizes much smaller.

I've been to Flutter as both a bridesmaid and as a bride. While the selection is scaled down compared to other bridal boutiques, you'll find plenty of both unique and classic designs to try on.

My bridesmaid shopping experience: Each dress style comes in one color and one size (the sizes I saw ranged from 6-10). For those trying on a dress that's not your size it takes a little creativity to overlook zippers that won't zip and myriad of clips. Even more imagination is required to envision the dress in the provided swatch color. Measurements are taken and there tends to be pressure to buy a size up to assure the best fit for the wedding. Although this can be a slightly overwhelming and embarrassing, rest assured that they have the best intentions

My bridal gown shopping experience: There's one size of each dress, most hovering around a size 6. I had a number of long and short hemmed gowns to try on. There was great variety in style and all were very unique. Flutter was a refuge for me, I was able to escape the typical strapless and long length numbers found everywhere else. The size of the main floor dressing room was generous in size and accommodating for my group of bridesmaids, mom, and mothers-in-law. I appreciated the changing room area. I'm sure my moms equally appreciated not seeing my lil' bitties and underwears.

I'm very happy with my flutter experiences. The staff has been consistently helpful without being too pushy. I recommend shopping well in advance to allow for shipment of the dress and tailoring as needed.

Flutter is the perfect boutique for any bride looking for an alternative to overcrowded, impersonal bridal stores. By requiring appointments, you are guaranteed that your bridal party will have the entire boutique to yourself! The whole place is very serene and the staff make you feel very comfortable. My bridesmaids were able to find contemporary dresses that fit each of their individual styles. While the dresses are more expensive than other stores, all the dresses could be worn again to a different function. I was looking for a simple wedding dress, and they had a great selection of reasonably-priced gowns. My mom was also able to find a mother-of-the-bride gown here. A true one-stop shop!

They are AWESOME! I bought a bridesmaid dress here that I used as my wedding dress. They helped me find the perfect dress with patience and helped me dream of alterations for it to make it more of a "wedding dress" It was a great value for a wedding dress, it's a little pricey for bridesmaids dresses. But if you can afford it, it's great!

Love Flutter! My bridesmaids got there dresses here and I have also gotten a dress for a wedding I was in at Flutter. Great service, cute dresses that are a little less traditional bridesmaid style. I would recomend this place to anyone!

Flutter Boutique was the ultimate experience for bridesmaid dresses! Each person we worked with was so very helpful and because they only take one client at a time - by appointment, we had their undivided attention. My bridesmaids were so thrilled to have a dress they will wear again - and in a color that works for all seasons! Beth, Stacey and Michelle all helped my vision a reality!! I have already passed along to 3 brides to be that Flutter is the best - I shopped around (8 stores in all...) and then I went to Flutter. I should have gone here first :)

I scheduled my bridesmaid dress appointment with Flutter because I absolutely love their instagram and have heard lovely things about the boutique. It is one of those places you just HAVE to check out, the total package of a bridal shopping experience. It is so cute inside, they have beautiful gowns, and kind people working there. The consultants are easy to work with. You can tell that doing what they do is second nature. Our consultant, Sarah, gauged our moods and did a great job being around when we needed her and leaving us to chat when we needed just our time together.

With that being said, we fell in love with several of the dresses. However, the selection is not as large as some of the other shops in the cities. This is understandable being that it is a boutique.

I would say one thing to MAKE SURE you do before you jump the gun on purchasing something from Flutter is to do your research. We fell in love with a Dessy bridesmaids gown that we found for OVER $100 LESS EXPENSIVE at the wedding shoppe. The dress was $280 at Flutter and was $171 at the wedding shoppe. Needless to say, due to the amount of options and prices, we chose to purchase from the wedding shoppe.

It is nothing the consultants or the boutique did at all, Again, wonderful experience. I would just like to encourage brides to do their research in case they have an opportunity to save hundreds.

I recently purchased my Theia Couture gown from Flutter Boutique and it was a terrible experience. When I went to pick it up it had a black stain on the front, beads were missing, a bead had a red dot on it right in the front and they told me to spin the bead around and it'd be fine, and the dress felt super stretched out.. I traveled 4 hours round trip to shop Flutter because of their good reviews and was told I had to come all the way back to pick up a new one (no discount, nothing).. There is no reason they shouldn't have caught the stain, etc before I went to pick it up. Then I saw on their instagram and facebook (posted 2 weeks prior to me picking it up) that my dress was ready in their shop for brides to come try on, but when I had gone to pick it up they said that nobody else would have my dress because it wasn't available as a sample yet.. Ahh what??! Then why was my dress on their facebook and instagram for others to try on?? Well they admitted that they thought it was a sample dress before they figured out it was my wedding dress and they still tried to give me it!!! After they had had brides try it on!!!!! It's outrageous!! I would NEVER recommend Flutter Boutique to anybody. It was super shady of them to do this. To top it all off, I had commented on the instagram picture of my dress asking why they had it and they quick deleted the whole picture off of there. Do NOT shop at Flutter Boutique there are plenty of other GREAT dress shops that you can find "the one" at.. Flutter Boutique is not a trustworthy business.
