Loved Everything! :)

We had such a wonderful experience working with Donna from Flowers n Ferns for our wedding! She was full of creative ideas that helped bring our wedding vision to life. Donna truly cared about every detail!

On the day of the wedding, everything came together beautifully. The arrangements were stunning, fresh, and exactly what we hoped for. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and takes pride in making her couples happy. We couldn’t have asked for a better florist — Donna got the job done perfectly and with so much heart.

Highly recommend Flowers n Ferns for anyone looking for a talented and caring florist!

My Great Experience

I called Flowers 'n' Ferns about a month before my wedding. My mom helped me with the planning process, she got in touch with Kim from Flowers 'n' Ferns. Kim (and the rest of the staff) was beyond helpful! She created a wonderful arrangement for me and my wedding party. My bouquet perfectly matched my bridesmaid's dresses and flowers. My bouquet was filled with beautiful roses, peonies, and other lovely flowers. Kim made the contract clear and the price was unbeatable. I would recommend them to everyone in the Northern Virginia area for all flower needs.

Flowers 'n' Ferns exceeded our expectations for our wedding!!! Karen went above and beyond and took exactly the ideas we had in mind and turned them into a reality! Everything was absolutely beautiful and stunning! We loved it all, from the wedding flowers, bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, arch and seating decorations!! Everything was absolutely perfect! We highly recommend this vendor for any event and flowers you need!

If what you are looking for is quality flowers put together with care and delivered promptly, if you want exactly what you envision even if you are not sure going in what you want or how to describe, if what you want is YOUR choices not the trend of the year then Karen and her team and Flowers 'n Ferns are the right choice for you, and for less then half price of what other florists wanted to charge us. Everything was perfect and looked wonderful. Will be using them again next time we have need of flowers.

Karen and her group were so easy to work with. I didn't give them much notice and wasn't sure exactly what I wanted. Karen had beautiful ideas, great prices and excellent service. Our centerpieces got lots of compliments.

We had a wonderful experience with Karen helping us prepare for a wedding on October 5, 2013. She had great ideas for flowers and arrangements that would complement our dresses and church. She incorporated some family jewelry in the bride's bouquet (something old and borrowed). She even made an arrangement in a fake pumpkin for the flower girl to carry. Everything was beautiful and it was waiting for us at the church. We couldn't ask for more. I would definitely recommend working with Flowers N Ferns.

Karen, from Flowers ‘N Ferns, was full of wonderful ideas and suggestions. She helped us design centerpieces and bouquets that fit our budget and matched our color scheme. She suggested buying vases ahead of time at IKEA, which saved us money. Karen was responsive and professional as were her employees. We found Karen’s pricing very reasonable and lower than other florists in the area. After comparing a number of different florists, we ended up with larger centerpieces and the perfect bouquets for less money. The flowers were gorgeous, delivered on time, and in great condition. We would highly recommend Flowers ‘N Ferns and will use them in the future.

My husband and I were forced to relocate our wedding at the last minute from the Jersey Shore to the outskirts of DC because of Hurricane Sandy. I walked into Flowers n Ferns on Thursday afternoon and showed her pictures of what our NJ flowers were supposed to look like and asked if she could help. At that point, I was simply hoping for bouquets for myself and my bridesmaids - I thought cetnerpieces were out of the question. I dont know how they did it, but in 48 hours they put together gorgeous bouqets and centerpieces that rivaled what we were supposed to have originally. Their grace and professionalism were outstanding and we could not be more grateful!

Karen was wonderful to work with for our recent wedding flowers. She was helpful in finding an arrangement that worked within our price range and had no problem with our addition of new items a few short weeks away from the event. The flowers were lovely and available for pick up (they deliver too) when promised. Thank you for making our wedding day lovely with your work!

Fantastic service from the initial design appointment to the final flower delivery. Karen provided the Bridal Shower flowers, rehearsal dinner flowers and all the wedding flowers. This on top of prom and graduation week. We were impressed with all of her craftsmanship, which hinged entirely on helping the bride select the best flowers to tolerate the weather, transportation and still look wonderful in all the pictures. We will continue to head to this florist for all our floral decorations.

I was thrilled with the flowers. The pricing was great, they looked amazing, and Karen kept telling us how excited she was to do our wedding and how beautiful she thought it would be (definitely somehting a bride wants to hear!!). Definitely recommend.

Karen did a wonderful job taking a picture of flowers that I loved and making them in to my beautiful bouquet. I gave her an idea of what flowers I liked and kind of what I was looking for and she knew exactly what to do.

We used flowers n ferns for my wedding and it was great working with Karen. She did an amazing job on my bouquet and altar flowers amongst the rest of the arranagements. I loved them. I'm not a flower person, but I described what I wanted and she brought my vision to life!!!! Thanks Karen!

This florist was good. She allowed us to provide our own vases for some centerpieces so we could save some money. However, we wanted the brides boquet to have white roses and white hydrangea. It turned out that we ended up with ivory roses. We used a AAA 20% discount which was great and kept the cost down. But that may have also meant they didn't work as hard on the flowers for us.
