Beautiful Floral Arrangement

My wife and I wanted to say that Wendy, the owner, did a fantastic job with the floral arrangement. My wife and she talked about color palette and the vision that my wife wanted for the wedding. Wendy brought in a two catalogs of floral arrangement ideas along with her iPad to help come up with ideas for the floral arrangement.

The day of the wedding arrived and Wendy was there at the Sentinel Hotel putting everything together and it looked amazing not to mention the arrangement that went with the wedding cake from Dream Cakes. It all came together from the bridal bouquet to the arrangement in the reception room.

We'd recommend Wendy for your special day. You won't go wrong with her floral arrangement!

Highly recommend!

Wendy at Lush Floral Design was absolutely amazing to work with! She brought my vision to life so beautifully. The whole process with her was so seamless, easy, and organized. On the day of the wedding, the flowers were delivered and set up on time and I never had to worry about checking in. All of our arrangements were absolutely beautiful and they were one of the main highlights of our day. Highly, highly recommend!

Wonderful Florist to bring your ideas to life!

Wendy was an absolute pleasure to work with! It took a long time for me to find a florist that would allow us to order Leis from Hawaii. Wendy was incredibly accommodating. Then when we got to designing the florals, Wendy was amazing! We talked over what flowers I liked and what I wanted to see done at my wedding. We went with three bouquets, then for the ceremony space we did three flower installations with drapes at the altar space, then greenery for each table and head table, and some greenery around the stands for the welcome sign and seating chart. Wendy made everything that we talked about come to life.

Great Floral and Decor Work!

My husband and I used Wendy to set up decor for three of the events in our Indian wedding, and she did an amazing job! Wendy was very easy to work with and clearly understood the religious requirements and our own desires for decor. She made everything work seamlessly, and was also able to accommodate our last minute changes as guest counts updated and ceremony requirements changed.

Beautiful and flexible

COVID bride here. They were very flexible when we had to change dates and with all the constant changes to the florals. Literally had a bridesmaid cancel 9 days before. It was not a problem for her to use blooms in other arrangements and work with my constantly changing requests.

ANd flowers were gorgeous!

Beautiful Work

Wendy did a gorgeous job on my centerpieces, arbor, and bouquets. It was exactly what I had asked for, the flowers were beautifully arranged and looked fresh and perfect. Easy to get ahold of, delivered on time, reasonably priced, and lovely work overall. Thank you Wendy!

Wendy from Lush Floral Design was great to work with. The website has so many ideas for flower and bouquet designs for brides who have trouble deciding (me!) and they provide a very accurate estimation of cost. Wendy was open to a couple of last minute changes that I requested, and all of the flowers were delivered on time and looked BEAUTIFUL. So many people commented on the florals and we had multiple guests ask if they could take home our table arrangements. I would highly recommend Lush Floral!

Wendy is great to work with! Her pricing is fair and the end product is outstanding. Wendy did the bouquets and boutineers for my wedding and not only did she work with my vision and colors but kept me updated along the way. She even let me send her a piece of my grandmother's wedding dress ahead of time to use as the ribbon on my bouquet. I was very happy with how the flowers turned out! Highly recommend using her!

Wendy is so sweet - and her flowers are beautiful. She runs her own business and met with us at a coffee shop to talk about flowers for an initial consultation. She was great at helping us turn a "I have no idea what flowers I want" into a more specific design. She can bring some big books of flowers that she has designed and helped us figure out what we wanted. Also, she can provide free vases to put your flowers in as a part of your rental (which she will pick up afterwards) and also low-cost candle rentals, so one person can do it in one fell swoop. You can go over what you want and then she can scale it based on price. She was very professional and wanted to make it what you wanted, versus pushing you to do something. She also had our flowers double as decorations down the aisle and also then as table decorations later on. She can also bring some flowing fabric / chiffon? to put on the alter/ pergola if you want to. The flowers looked fresh all night and were just beautiful.

Wendy is a flower genius. Seriously. I went to her with colors and no idea what I wanted, and she put together my dream flowers. When I had color changes in the middle of the wedding planning, she didn't skip a beat. She was up front with her pricing, stuck to my budget, and even stayed during pictures for the wedding so that she could freshen up the flowers. It was the hottest day of the year, and all flowers in the state were drooping. She had extra flowers in her car ready for me! There was no charge.

She set everything up and all her vases and hooks arrived with the flowers and she set everything up.

If you don't know where to go, go to Wendy. She is kind, helpful, and knows what she is doing.

Wendy took our colors and general ideas and turned them into incredible arrangements that were better than we had imagined! She incorporated my favorite flowers even though they weren't in season and the hues were perfect for the venue and dresses and the organic style of the bouquets were perfect for the look of our wedding. Day-of she was there early and had everything ready to go. This was a very positive experience and I would not hesitate to recommend!

Wendy does an amazing job! My flowers were beyond anything I could have imagined. I cried when my sister handed me my bouquet; it was so beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Even after only meeting with us one time, and exchanging a few emails, Wendy was able to capture our style perfectly, and did so on a very reasonable budget! Our centerpieces and alter arrangements were gorgeous as well! She was on-time with her delivery, which is one less thing for you to worry about on your big day. I can not say enough wonderful things about Wendy. I am so glad we found her to be our florist!

Not only were the flowers BEAUTIFUL but when Wendy showed up and saw that we were in a panic trying to set-up in time for the ceremony she just jumped right in without even having to be asked!

Wendy did such a fantastic job with our flowers, beyond my expectations! She came highly recommended from multiple friends as an incredibly reasonable, very talented florist. We had a large wedding (approximately 300 guests) and when I first met with Wendy, my vision of what I wanted was a little scattered. She was open to all sorts of ideas and had great ideas to help me hone in on my vision and create something really beautiful. And...I would say that her prices are competitive, but I think that's an understatement. Her prices were thousands less than some of my previous quotes. Thank you Wendy for helping make our wedding day so beautiful!

Wendy was great to work with, she brought my vision to life with all the vibrant, beautiful colors I had imagined. She even delivered to two different locations for me (my venue and the place where we were getting ready)! My husband and I married 7/11/2010. Wendy met with my mother and I multiple times times to get exactly what we wanted. She knew our price range and was very helpful with getting my vision in that price range. Our wedding was beautiful and we loved every arrangement. Wendy really helped pull my wedding all together, she went over and beyond!

We have many friends who have used Wendy since our wedding and EVERYONE has been as happy as I was with my wedding! Beautiful work!

Wendy has now done the flowers for both of my daughter's weddings....first back in September 2010, and again in August 2012. The flowers were exactly as we had imagined them to be, and more. If you're looking for a florist who can take your vision and make it a reality, Wendy is your gal. And as an added bonus, she is so pleasant and easy to work with and the value is really there! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

Wendy is amazing. She listened to my daughter's dream and vision and surpassed it with the gorgeous flowers in her bouquet and at the reception site. Wendy's priciing is reasonable. She is creative, professional, and respectful. Check out the pictures once they are posted. Simply amazing.

I found Wendy on here when I was looking for a florist. She was very quick to respond when I e-mailed her and we met about a week later. She is very nice and great to work with. I was exteremly pleased with our flowers and floral arrangements that she did for us! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a florist. She is very well priced as well. :)

Wendy was amazing! I wasn't able to get up to meet with her in Portland, but she was willing to work with me almost entirely by email. She was flexible and helped us create a package within our budget in the colors we wanted. Her flowers were gorgeous, and everything I could have hoped for! I will be recommending her highly to anyone I know getting married in Oregon.

Wendy was awesome! We met a few months before the wedding and i outlined exactly what i was looking for.. and the day of the wedding, i got gorgeous beautiful flowers that everyone LOVED! she was even able to create a last minute request for a little bouquet i could give to a little girl who wasn't a flower girl, but was upset she didn't get a bouquet like her friends did! what i really liked is that i could have my guests take home the centerpieces.. vases and all.

We loved working with Wendy. She was easy to work with and had many great ideas. The flowers were gorgeous and she definitely thought outside the box with a variety of centerpieces that were different yet all went well together. The bouquets had many compliments from the guests as they had a huge variety of flowers in them and really looked outstanding. The prices seemed very good for the service we received. Wendy's flowers were great! I emailed her with what I wanted and she responded right away with reasonable prices. She ended up making my bouquet even more beautiful than I asked. Easy, easy, easy and great pricing!

I met Wendy from my venue's preferred vendor’s night, I compared her pricing with many of other florist around Portland and she seemed very reasonable and has worked with my venue tons which was a plus! I met Wendy and really had no idea what to do with flowers, I had colors but no swatches on me at the time. At first I thought Wendy was a little awkward but found out throughout the conversation that she is sweet and knows what she is doing when it comes to flowers. Her designs are very classic and elegant which was what I was looking for, I did not want a typical Portland green green hipster flowers! She looked at my Pinterest and starting pulling her own ideas for my wedding into her own Pinterest folder, she was on the ball! Anytime, I made outreach or changes she always was accommodating! I had to add two more bouquets to my order about 3 weeks before the wedding which is beyond her changes date and she just did it no problem! The bouquets were gorgeous, though they did have hydrangeas and carnations more than anything, which I thought was cheap and I did not want hydrangeas, but again overall the flowers and arrangements were too pretty to actually matter. She came on time took care of everything so swiftly and quietly and was gone before I knew it! Make the type of flowers clear to her, which I missed on, and I'm sure you will be 100% happy with her service!! Great job Wendy, thank you!!

Wendy met with us at Starbucks and we were able to look at lots of pictures to get ideas. When I was having trouble picking out a color scheme and flowers, she helped me to narrow it down. I felt confident right away and felt that I could trust her to do a good job. She had many suggestions to save money and she worked well in our price range. When I walked into the bridal room, my flowers were already there. They looked beautiful, better than the pictures I saw in the book! The centerpieces and the decorations for the wedding were awesome! I'm so glad that she did my flowers. Many people commented on how beautiful the flowers were.

Wendy is sweet, personable and a great value! We brainstormed over coffee and I was all over the place with concepts and themes. I have a background in art and design, so my standards were high, but Wendy captured my vision and the flowers turned out better than I had even imagined.

There were a lot of positives in working with Wendy: she did a "demo" of the arrangements beforehand, did a great job decorating on the chuppah, and even allowed us to use the centerpieces at brunch the next day.

However, the color of the ribbon on my (bridal) bouquet was completely off. I specifically asked for it to match the color of the bridesmaids dresses, showed the swatch of the color, and shared the name of the color on David's Bridal site so that it would be easy to match. Yet when I got the bridal bouquet, the color was Bordeaux rather than Purple. It might not seem like a big deal, but I felt quite self-conscious about the color mismatch during the photos.

The flower's we had by Wendy were gorgeous. I had some problems trying to contact her and get things finalized with our contract but all in all we were really happy with the outcome. She had several albums of her work and numerous suggestions for things to try. She was also really knowledgeable about flowers and when things were in season. The end results were spectacular!

Beautiful flowers

We hired Lush for our wedding and the flowers were beautiful! Color wise, the bouquets were perfect.
However, the fabric on our arbor was much darker than our example photo and didn’t match the flowers.
Several of the corsages also broke-one had the actual bracelet snap, and several had flowers/leafs fall off. These were for adults.

Overall I did love them, the flowers were beautiful- just makes sure you see the actual set-up before.

Other than our cake, the flowers were the other downfall of our event. When we met with Wendy she did not seem overly warm and it just seemed like another wedding to her. She was good about being flexible. After our initial meeting, we came up with other ideas/people we should be getting corsages/boutenieres for and she was good about making the changes or adding on to our order. However, in my bouquet and in all the bridesmaids, we had requested pink calla lilies and when she brought them into the bride's room the day of the wedding, I was very annoyed that they were in fact more of a purple color than hot pink. Which is not what a bride wants to worry about before walking down the aisle. The other flowers were beautiful and she did an okay job, but would not recommend her.
