Amelia is AMAZING! She is creative, attentive, and truly brings your vision to life. She just gets it and totally makes the whole process fun and exciting. Her attention to detail is literally spot on. I, without hesitation, recommend her for all your floral design needs--she is definitely one of a kind! I absolutely loved working with her and she embraced everything I threw at her. Even offering unlimited expertise and professional suggestions through out the entire process. The wedding flowers she created for us are still being talked about and one hundred percent speaks for the quality of work that she puts forth.

I used Flowers by Whisconier for my daughter's wedding. Amelia spoke with me on the phone to get an idea of what we might like. She followed up by emailing some pictures of different arrangements. My daughter had specific ideas about what she wanted thanks in part to the pictures we received. Amelia listened to what she wanted, offered some suggestions, and followed through. She even met with me after hours to accommodate my work schedule. The flowers were exactly what we hoped for and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality. We took the table arrangements home after the wedding and they lasted 2 full weeks. Amelia delivered flowers to multiple locations and was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Flowers by Whisconier and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They delivered great customer service and a quality product!

Amelia is such a sweet and down to earth person to work with. She's also very talented!!! Her flower arrangements are just beautiful. We are very pleased with everything she did for our wedding. We couldn't have asked for anything more beautiful. Thanks again Amelia!

Flowers By Whisconier did a phenomenal job creating flowers for my wedding. Not only was everything absolutely beautiful, but the service and quality of care you receive from Amelia and her team was best in class. I am not a flowers person. I can probably only name about 3 types of flowers and they were so incredibly patient with me and looked at every picture I provided in terms of what kind of look i was going for (because even i didn't really know!). It was also so refreshing to hear the passion from Amelia about what she does and the product she produces. I knew instantly that we were in good hands. The flowers were stunning and I am thrilled that we chose to work with them. You will NOT be disappointed.

Amelia was truly phenomenal! She understood my vision, was very helpful and over exceeded my expectations. I'm a very visual person, she quickly helped me find pictures of what I wanted, gave additional advice about color coordinating my wedding, best of all she has such an amazing personality. A true pleasure to work with. Made me feel at ease, and was never bothered by my many changes.

Amelia was AMAZING!! Not only did she help me with picking out my flowers and staying within in budget she helped with other aspects of my wedding. I could not believe how beautiful my wedding venue looked it was a dream!! The staff is also just as amazing and so helpful when Amelia was not around. We can not be happier with deciding to go with Whisconier Florists for our big day. The price was very reasonable and the floral arrangements, bouquets, aisle flowers, everything was amazing!!! We could not be happier and Amelia was an absolute dream to work with. Amelia also provided us with some ideas that would bring a more personal touch to our special day and nailed everything on the head! We are so happy with their work.

I had a month to plan my wedding, so you can imagine how crazed I was. Choosing a florist was one of the last items on my list, and meeting with other florists was frustrating-- I was either quoted ridiculously high prices, or they were unable to work with the short time frame.

As soon as I met with Amelia, she was very confident and assuring about her services. I was pretty unsure of what I wanted, but Amelia took into consideration whatever I told her, and came up with different ideas that I could incorporate in the wedding. At the end of our meeting, she gave me her personal number so that I could text her with any questions or concerns-- even if I didn't end up going with her. She even sent me pics of decor she came across in various stores that went along with the theme of my wedding. It's safe to say that Whisconier lives up to their excellent reviews.

On the day of the wedding, Amelia went above and beyond my expectations. My wedding was in January, which meant I would be taking outdoor shots in the cold-- Amelia had brought me a white pashmina as a gift so that I wouldn't freeze during our photo shoot! She then informed me that she had leftover fresh petals from a previous wedding that she decorated my cake table with. She even used some of the petals to create a heart at the end of the aisle. She did all of this, keeping me in mind, and I was absolutely moved by her kindness. My friends still talk about how absolutely stunning my bouquet and other floral arrangements were.

She did a phenomenal job of ensuring I had a beautiful wedding and did not have to worry about a thing! If you're looking for a florist with a great reputation who will execute your ideas incredibly, look no further!

Amelia went above and beyond to make sure my wedding day was perfect! She was easy to work with and very knowledgeable. She worked with me to give me exactly my vision for flowers and centerpieces. On the day of my wedding she worked for hours with my father to wind-proof our chuppah ( wedding canopy) and to cover up all of the cinderblocks that were holding it down. Amelia was professional and kind and her work was spectacular. I would highly recommend the whisconier florist to any bride!

Amelia was everything I needed in a florist! Floral arrangements are not an area I'm comfortable with and Amelia was a genius! The arrangements she created I could never have imagined but they were exactly what I wanted. It was almost like we shared the same vision. She did everything from our bouquets to ceremony flowers & flowers on our arbor to decorating our reception and it was all perfect. I'll never forget as I was walking to surprise my husband to be at our first look Amelia came sprinting across the venue carrying the most beautiful bouquet I've ever seen. She did not want me to do my first look without my bouquet! Thank you for all of your effort and attention to detail!!

If you're looking for a florist who listens to you and sees your vision of your wedding, Amelia is your girl! Amelia helped us out when we needed it, listened to us, and she really cared about what we wanted. She also helped get my fiancé (now husband) excited for our big day. We're so grateful for all that Amelia did for us. Her energetic and upbeat personality only added to the mix! It's Very important to have happy vendors at 7:30 AM! :)

Amelia was incredibly helpful and patient. She was very attentive and was able to take my vague ideas and create truly beautiful arrangements. She is incredibly passionate about what she does and I had the impression that she was always so happy and excited to be working on ideas for my wedding.
The flowers at my wedding were exactly what I wanted. I absolutely loved how everything came out. Amelia was also so helpful in making sure other decorations at the church and reception were put together correctly. I would wholeheartedly recommend Amelia and Whisconier to any bride in the future.

Working with Whiconier was truly an amazing experience. From the day we started, Amelia( the owner), worked with me hand in hand to make my vision come to life. She kept in mind price but made sure it would be nothing short of amazing. I wouldn't have changed one thing-from the beautiful center pieces, creative place card table and simple touches like my grandmothers pearls around my bouquet it made the wedding so special and I would recommend them to anyone!

My daughter in law and I choose this florist for our family wedding. When I first met the owner Amelia and we discussed what our choices would be for our weeding I was a little nervous that Amelia didn't even want a deposit. being a business owner myself I was a little skeptical!!!!!! as the months got closer to the wedding date I asked her repeatedly if she wanted any form of payment. she didn't and said that she would get paid one month before.
I mentioned this payment portion of our agreement because this kind of trust is just not found any more. Amelia is not only extremely creative, calming and very professional she also created a romantic magical atmosphere at our venue in the Candlewood inn. I can not thank her enough and express to her enough how much her passion and interest in our wedding helped us make my sons wedding a day we will never forget. I highly recommend her to any bride or family that is trying to make a florist decision. We could have chosen any florist and I am truly grateful that we choose Whisconier.

Amelia arranged the flowers for our wedding, and did an absolutely spectacular job-- the flowers were fresh, beautiful, and worked perfectly with our theme.

Prior to the wedding, Amelia was exceptionally helpful with envisioning the end product, steering me toward ideas that would best fulfill my wishes. She's an encyclopedia of helpful imformation regarding other aspects of weddings as well, and I can't thank her enough for everything she did for us. Very professional, very kind, extremely talented. Extremely gorgeous peonies!!! Me being sooo picky and attention to detail- I never thought someone could execute my pinterest photos so well. Amelia not only was open and understanding to what exactly I wanted but she saw my vision and executed it perfectly. I wanted large white bulb peonies for my bouquet. I went to 6 florists and they all convinced me not to use peonies. By the time I found Amelia I was exausted and ready to go with another flower. Nope. She told me she could do it and believe me - she did it perfectly. Shes feminine, creative, kind and detail oriented and it shows in her work! She was perfect!

Since my wedding is coming up, I cannot speak to my special day yet. However, I can say this....I thought Amelia would be the first florist I talked with. After 5 minutes, I knew she would be the only florist I spoke with. She was able to take my ideas and add to them, making them even better than before. I have even bounced other wedding ideas off of her just for some professional feedback. She is honest and will tell you how things will really look. I appreciate that about her! I am very much looking forward to my wedding day and the flowers she will be bringing over to me.

I loved my flowers and so did everyone else. Received many compliments on them. I told Amelia what I wanted. She sent pictures to see if we were on the same page. I would recommend Whisconier florist for all your flower needs.

Amelia and her team at Whisconier Florist are absolutely sensational. We were referred to her by a friend, We originally had an appointment with a different florist in Danbury that completely forgot our initial appointment we had scheduled weeks prior (that I had driven from Philadelphia for where I live just for the meeting). Needless to say we did not hire that florist and were then left in a time crunch in trying to find a new florist just a few short weeks prior to the wedding.

Upon our first call to Whisonier Florist, we knew they were going to be amazing. Her staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly over the phone and quickly set up a meeting with Amelia to discuss our vision. They asked us to send photos of what we had in mind so they could prepare for our meeting. With just a few photos to go on, it was like Amelia had literally jumped inside by brain and took my vision to a whole new level. She perfectly understood the color scheme (all neutrals and antique pink), the simple and elegant tone, and added so many additional accents that I had not even thought of. They worked within our time frame as well as our budget perfectly. As I live out of state, she was also able to arrange for FaceTime follow up meetings. Amelia was not only our florist, but truly turned into somewhat of a wedding coordinator and wonderful friend.

The flowers, bouquets and nosegays that Amelia and her team arranged were like a dream. She hand delivered the bouquets to my house the morning of the wedding, which was so wonderful because I got to thank her in person. She also delivered the flowers to the church and venue in person, as well as decorated the church pews with tulle and ribbon that we had bought (far above and beyond her job).
I truly cannot speak more highly of Amelia and Whisconier Florist. Amelia truly loves her job and it shows through in her work. Hiring her will be one of the best decisions you will make in planning your wedding!

My daughter and I met with Amelia and in a very short time she understood our vision for the wedding. She had wonderful ideas for personalizing the venue and we relied on her for designing the tablescape. She and her staff are true professionals and were a joy to work with. She understood our budget and found the perfect flowers that would fit the style of the wedding and the budget. At the last minute we came up with an idea for pew decorations and Amelia had an idea to make them look amazing and took care of installing them the morning of the wedding. When you hire Whisconier Florist you get so much more than simply a florist. You get a wedding planner with experience and someone who has contacts in all bridal areas. We were thrilled and you will be too!

Amelia from Whisconier Florist was great! Great personality and always excited to talk about the wedding!! I had a few ideas when we first met but was indecisive. Amelia supported and guided me in my choices and gave me a few tips on what would look best. And I have to say everything came out looking beautiful! She was able to help me with my 1st wedding ceremony on the Friday before hand; she then came to my house & picked up the flowers and brought them back to her shop so they would stay cool & fresh for Saturday! Amazing service! I would definitely recommend Whisconier Florist!

Amelia was amazing. I cant imagine having my wedding flowers done by anyone else. She was so helpful!! She was willing to work within my budget and gave me so much helpful advice on other aspects of my wedding as well. Amelia and everyone at Whisconier Florist was AMAZING! I couldn't be happier with their services. The flowers were gorgeous, and set up just as we talked about. Amelia went above and beyond and used extra flowers to decorate our cake and re-purposed the leftover flowers from the day before. She was amazing and I would highly recommend Whisconier Florist for any event. They are very knowledgeable, returned phone calls and emails quickly, and were a pleasure to work with.

The whole whisconier team is amazing! I had complete faith in them and never once worried about my flowers. We had a vision! Amelia and her team took our vision and made it everything we could have dreamed of and more. The flowers were just stunning the fragrance of them alone was exquisite and the colors the dark blues, light purples and soft whites was a beautiful combination with sprays of green mixed in. I could go on and on but believe me their work speaks for itself in volumes.

Amelia and her team at Whisconier Florist are absolutely incredible! I went in with a vision and not only was it delivered, it was better than I had even imagined! I have so many great things to say about Amanda and Amelia. They really held my hand and walked to through the whole process. I had a small idea of what I wanted and talking with these amazing brains we came up with a beautiful, romantic and classic floral theme for my wedding. I had so many questions and they answered all of them. I had a problem visualizing the big picture, so the ladies sent me lots of picture to make sure I knew what they were talking about and what I was getting. Since I was out of town and tried to cram in as much wedding stuff as I could in one day, the ladies were very flexible with my appointments. I was so happy when I saw the final product. All the guests were very impressed and more importantly my husband :)

Amelia from Whisconier Florist is absolutely wonderful! I had lost my mother a little over year before my wedding and she was so kind and helpful in helping me pick out my wedding flowers and helping me feel excited again! Amelia was also able to work within our budget which I greatly appreciated!!! Since I booked her well in advance, she made appointments with me to just catch up and see how my wedding planning was going and to make any necessary changes. She pays a lot of attention to her brides and is always there to help! The day of the wedding I was actually a little bummed that I had missed her. I was hoping to see her when I arrived... When I got to the venue everything was already done from the ceremony flowers to the centerpieces, to the flowers on the cake, and the bridal party bouquets were there waiting upstairs in the bridal suite! She even left a note for me with my bridal bouquet! She was able to incorporate lace from my mom's wedding dress and her rosary into my bouquet which came out beautiful! There was nothing that she left undone! She did such a beautiful job with all the flowers and they looked amazing! I am so thankful to have had Amelia as the florist for my wedding! I had a very particular vision for my flowers and for the flow of my wedding and Amelia at Whisconier understood immediately. She also was very mindful of my tight budget and helped me decide how to mix her beautiful arrangements with homemade silk centerpieces to keep cost down, even looking at photos of our homemade centerpieces to make sure all the arrangements would work well together. When the flowers arrived the morning of my wedding, I was completely blown away with how incredible they looked, and how completely the realized the image that I had in my mind. I had no idea what I wanted as far as flowers were concerned for our Fall wedding. I heard about Whisconier florist through my bridal shop and decided to do a consultation. After meeting with Amelia and talking about a few ideas I knew Amelia was the perfect fit for us. I left the floral shop with a great feeling and the whole wedding in my head started to come together. Amelia is such professional and you can tell she really loves what she does and her passion shines through in her work. Also, when she is speaking with you in the shop or over the phone she makes you feel like you are the only bride she is working with and gives you undivided attention. Amelia exceeded all of my expectations! She was so incredibly helpful from our first meeting, helping me with ideas to fit the tone and idea of my wedding. She even helped me find other reliable and amazing vendors! She was always available for questions and worked within my budget! Above all, the flowers were just absolutely stunning. They were better than I could have even imagined, help up beautifully, and she was able to incorporate, brooches and memories I wanted in my bouquet in such a tasteful and respectful manor. I got so many compliments on my flowers and bouquets, and having Amelia do my flowers alleviated all of my stress. She even made a bouquet basket for my shower, and the flowers held up for 3 weeks, and I still have the plants (and I have a black thumb!). Amelia and her team at Whisconier Florist provided beautiful floral arrangements, tailored perfectly to our tastes, with professional yet personal delivery. We preferred a more natural, "Meadow" look for our outdoor farm wedding, and the bouquets and arrangements were just perfect. The flowers were carefully chosen yet naturally arranged into stunning bouquets. I got a chance to view other work done by Whisconier, which was equally beautiful yet with a much more tailored feel, which demonstrates how versatile her skills are! i can not say enough about Amelia- i was on a budget, with no clue of what direction to go in, and she helped me with everything. She actually gave me the theme for the entire wedding- and helped pull strings for me with my venue which saved me hundreds of dollars. My flowers were so gorgeous that i slept with them beside me and carried them around the entire next day. They were absolutely perfect. The flowers held up for my bouquet and all my girls' bouquet through the heat, stress and dancing!! I even bought bunches of flowers from her as my DIY centerpieces and they lasted THREE WEEKS- in the heat of july! I will use her forever, she was so sweet and encouraging and helpful- and brides can be quite the pain, i tried not to be- but with all the confusion and planning, things changed and she was there to support me no matter what. I went to three different florists before her, and each one made me feel stupid and poor... she was my rock and i didnt need to worry about her at all, they were delivered on time and with a smile.

Amelia is incredible!! When planning our wedding we were on a very tight budget and only had 6 months to plan everything. I had been a bridesmaid the year before and my friend had gone to Whisconier Florist w/ Amelia, since she did such a great job w/ my friends wedding, naturally I has to interview her. I had an idea of what I wanted, along w/ the colors; however was all over the place. After speaking to me for 5 minutes and asking me some general questions, she looked at me and said exactly what she envisioned me in and what my wedding could look like, with a few quick tips and modifications. Not only did Amelia make my flowers sophisticated, elegant, bright, vibrant and incredible beautiful; she did it within my budget, when other florists had told me that what I wanted could not be done within that budget. Her suggestions to change some of the flowers and tips she gave me about "how to make the hall and setting" look stunning totally worked, and till this day, a year later, our guests still rave about how beautiful our wedding was, and speak specifically to the flowers, bar arrangements, tables, etc. Amelia is amazingly calm, graceful, a wealth of information and creativity. I speak of her to anyone and everyone! If you want your wedding to stand apart - GO SEE AMELIA!

My experience with Whisconier Florist was so positive. I went in for a consultation not really knowing what I wanted for my wedding. I had a few pictures from pinterest which got us started talking about what I wanted the flowers to look like. From those pictures, we discovered a theme and went with it. The end result was stunning. Since I hadn't provided a lot of direction, I didn't have high expectations but I was blown away by the arrangements.
I would HIGHLY recommend Whisconier Florist for any local bride - whether she knows what she's looking for or is like me, a bit indecisive but wanting something elegant!

Amelia was absolutely wonderful! The special "extras" she put into my wedding made my country wedding dreams come to life! Amelia was able to take my ideas and run with them creating my dream wedding. She was such a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond what she needed to do. Two and a half years later, and I am just as excited to write this review as the day I got married!! Amelia was a blast to work with! The second I walked into her store, I knew SHE WOULD BE MY FLORIST! Amelia was so welcoming and genuinely interested to hear my dreams! When I first arrived, I did not know exactly what I wanted. Amelia was eager to find something that fit my wedding vision. She showed me a few options, and then she set up another appointment. When I arrived at the appointment, I had changed my mind about color, and she was flexible in accommodating my new request! Not the least bit annoyed (she actually agreed with me!!!) I was at ease on my wedding day when the flowers arrived early in the morning, packaged nicely, and absolutely breathtaking! The delivery man was so sweet, as well, which just made the day even more enjoyable! I've never been so tickled with an arrangement of flowers before!!! My flowers were incredible, and I have no regrets! And to top it all off, Amelia added flower petals to all of the tables at my reception area, even though I did not request them... she just had extra :) Such a beautiful touch! I have recommended Whisconier to every friend of mine who has gotten married in the area. She never fails to provide the most phenomenal service to everyone she works with! I would recommend Flowers by Whisconier for any event!!! Amelia is amazing!! I provided her a photo of the wedding bouquet I wanted for my wedding and she totally nailed it! She is very professional and very knowledgeable in her work. At our wedding, we had a memorial table for all the loved ones we lost and she created a beautiful flower arrangement for that table and that meant the world to me!! Our bridal party loved the flowers as well....in fact, everyone complimented the flowers! Amelia of Flowers by Whisconier is the place to go when you need gorgeous, gorgeous flowers!!!

Amelia was great to work with! Gave her my colors, budget and let her do the rest....result was amazing! The bouquets were beautiful and the colors looked great together. She was even able to incorporated family jewelry/broaches into my bouquet in such a subtle and beautiful way!

Amelia did the flowers, including centerpieces, for my wedding in CT while I was living 5-8 hrs. away (depending on traffic). She was really great with email correspondence, sending pictures, figuring out what types of arrangements I liked, and matching to my color scheme despite being in the middle of moving her growing business to a larger building. The flower designs were beautiful, and I was very grateful for her expertise since I am not skilled in the visual arts or design. She kept in touch, confirmed exactly what time she would deliver and set up the flowers, and I didn't have to worry at all. Beautiful work, stress free and worry free process.

I had interviewed a few florists before meeting with Amelia and her team for my wedding flowers. Within 10 minute of meeting her I knew she was the florist for us. The 3 things that ultimately led me to choose her: she LOVES what she does and has amazing passion for it and good eye for design, she is very experienced with wedding flowers and new most of the area vendors and how to work with them, and she did not trash talk other florists (cannot say the same for the other florists I interviewed). My husband and I hired Amelia and team to do all of the wedding flowers: bouquets, the guy's flowers, mom and grandma wristlets/corsages, pew marker flowers, the card table at the venue, and the dinner tables. My husband and I also wanted orchids on our cake so she made that happen as well. All I can say that Amelia went above and beyond. We were very pleased - the flowers and design of them were beautiful, everything was fresh, and she was on time. She also helped bring photos to the church and to our venue, and ensured the staff at the venue were on their game and everything was as my husband and I wanted it. I would highly recommend her and her staff. Though my wedding was June of last year and I'm just getting to my vendor reviews now, the first one I'm writing is this one as she was just a pleasure.

I remember walking into Amelia's shop very clearly. My mom and I were in over our heads with wedding planning and were a little stressed to say the least. Amelia was so kind, helpful, and comforting. She made deciding on flowers easy and fun which was exactly what we needed. Amelia also knew my venue and the owner of the venue very well and that was a tremendous help. She knew exactly what we needed for the venue. She also helped me stay in my budget without trying to push anything on me.

The best part though was the actual wedding day. My flowers were more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. They were delivered in plenty of time to set up and get ready. They filled the entire room they were in with fragrance. Every little detail was beautiful. Amelia also showed attention to detail by adding different ribbons so each corsage and boutonniere looked a little bit different. My grooms was the only one with white ribbon…so pretty. Thank you Amelia!!

Amelia worked with me on my wedding in May, which was also during the very busy Mother's Day weekend. Amelia gave me great ideas and the flowers turned out beautifully. I was unfamiliar with many flowers, and she suggested flowers that came together beautifully. She was very easy to work with and the day was perfect.
