Beautiful!

Barbara and the Flowers by Sue team were great in ensuring we had the most beautiful florals and details on the big day! She provided lots of options for meeting my vision, and did a great job of executing for both the ceremony and reception!

Joy to work with & amazing flowers.

Brent and his team at Flowers by Sue were PHENOMENAL! They created a bridal bouquet, floral hair pieces, boutonnières, corsages, aisle markers, cocktail table decorations, signage decorations, doggie boutonnière, and centerpieces. They also provided a beautiful arbor and even got us an isle runner. Whatever I threw at Brent, he nailed it! Brent was able to work with my budget and what he delivered absolutely exceeded my expectations. They are priced much better than other Hilton Head florists and are such pros. Everything was absolutely stunning and we got so many compliments from guests. Communication, delivery, set up and cleanup were a breeze. Additionally, Brent’s fun and vivacious personality was so refreshing and it was such a pleasure to work with him. Lastly, it’s been almost two weeks since our wedding and some of our flowers are still standing. I would most definitely recommend Brent and his team for any occasion.

Beautiful!

Flowers By Sue created the most beautiful and classic flower arrangements for my wedding day! I really wanted peonies incorporated in the my flowers and they said they would do everything they could to get them, but they might not be in season. They obviously went above and beyond and made sure peonies were included and I was so happy. They were great and easy to work with and would recommend them for your florist if you are getting married in the Hilton Head area.

Beautiful Flowers!

Flowers by Sue did the flowers for our wedding, and they did a beautiful job! I absolutely loved my bouquet! It was easy to schedule a consult, and Sarah did an amazing job taking my description and sample photos and turning it into the most beautiful bouquet! On the wedding day, they delivered the flowers to my suite at our hotel, as well as arrangements to the church, in lovely glass vases of water that we got to keep! We also had them do pew markers for us and they put them in vases as well, so we were able to use them as centerpieces at the reception too! I’m even preserving my bouquet because I just loved it so much! Book Flowers by Sue for your wedding, they’ll do a beautiful job!

Beautiful bouquets

For our small wedding I only needed bouquets and flower petals. Flowers by Sue were great to work with and the bouquets were beautiful. I emailed them photos I liked and they made suggestions I loved. The bouquets were delivered on time and held up beautifully during our beach ceremony, indoor reception and for many days after. Flowers by sue was perfect for our special day! They were the sweetest most polite group of women I had ever met on the island. If I had another event in Hilton head I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again! Thanks again ladies! It was a pleasure!

Flowers by Sue was the best! This was a destination wedding for us, and we'd met with two other area florists (who were on our venue's "preferred vendor" list) when we visited the area several months before the wedding. Neither of those florists were responsive in getting back to us with their promised quotes, despite repeated attempts to contact them.

We'd seen a "Flowers by Sue" truck at our venue when we were down there, so I took a chance and reached out to them, and am SO glad that I did! Ed was very friendly and responsive over email, and Sue was very friendly and responsive on the phone. We went over the basics of what I'd need, I sent her a link to flower arrangements I liked on Pinterest, and she gave me a quote. It was very straightforward. A couple of weeks before the wedding she checked in to go over our list one more time and see if there were any updates.

I was a little nervous, having never met with them in person, but the flowers were absolutely GORGEOUS. I was honestly so thrilled at how it all turned out. I highly recommend them!

Flowers by Sue did an amazing job on our wedding flowers. I literally never saw flowers so beautiful in all my life. Our wedding was a destination wedding and I didn't really know what exactly I wanted and I could not stop in the shop to make selections. I talked to Heather on the phone and she made some suggestions and we had the whole thing taken care of in less than 15 minutes. I absolutely LOVED the flowers, so pretty! I only wish I could have kept them forever. The prices are also very reasonable.

My flowers from the bouquets to the table flowers were beyond stunning. I loved working with Sue; she understood my vision and ran with it creating an elegant display. I do not live around the Island so besides the initial meeting everything was through the phone and email and she was beyond fantastic. Absolutely go with Flowers by Sue for any event.

A little over a month before our wedding, our original florist backed out of our wedding. Needless to say, I was downright panicking. I called Flowers By Sue and in one phone call they helped me plan all the flowers for our wedding, came in right on our budget, and didn't even blink about the schedule of our wedding (even though they had 5 other events that day!).
Our flowers were more beautiful than I could have ever envisioned. They went above and beyond in terms of customer service, and quality of product. Every detail from my bouquet to the aisle flowers and our unbelievably gorgeous arbor piece were stunning. And what touched me the most was they were able to take the lace from my mom's handmade wedding dress and incorporate it into mine and my sister's bouquet. It was the highlight of my day seeing how beautifully they had treated that heirloom.

Sue did an amazing job capturing the vision we had for our daughter's wedding. We didn't have to hold her hand the entire time. She has exquisite taste. We met with her several times before the wedding and she always promptly returned our phone calls and emails. Her pricing is very reasonable compared to other estimates we received. Sue was an absolute joy to work with. If you are looking for a florist in the lowcountry, she is the best. We recommend her without hesitation.

The team at Flowers by Sue completely accommodated my requests. I was a pretty demanding bride when it came to flowers because I wanted to save money. My only regret is that I wish I had let the team 'do their thing' for the centerpieces because they created really amazing arrangements for a really great price for the other items I wasn't so demanding about. Flowers can get pretty pricey but they did their best to stay within my budget and to make everything absolutely stunning.

Sue and Ed were so much fun to work with! Since I live out of state we worked over the phone and via email. They were incredibly responsive and helped me find the most beautiful bouquets! All the flowers were breathtaking and all delivered on time. I highly recommend getting your floral arrangements from them!

Flowers by Sue provided our bouquets, boutonnieres and mothers corsages for our wedding. I spoke with Ed over the phone. He was helpful and gave me a fair price. I had requested coral colored Gerbera daisies for my bridesmaids. Unfortunately 2 days before the wedding I was informed that they were unable to find coral daisies and offered coral roses as a substitute for the same price. The flowers were beautiful!! I was very happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.

I chose Flowers By Sue based on the positive reviews I found while researching online for my destination wedding on Hilton Head Island. They were on point! We met with Sue on a planning weekend a couple months before the wedding and she was very organized and I left feeling confident she knew what we were looking for. We had a change in venue a month before and they handled it wonderfully, even adding some flowers to better suit the new venue. The day of my wedding, the flowers took my breath away. I had given them a few ideas but the flowers were exactly what I had hoped and dreamed about! Ed was also extremely helpful during the whole planning process - thank you and the whole team at Flowers by Sue for helping make my wedding wonderful!!!

September, 2012. We walked into Flowers by Sue the day before our wedding looking for baby's breath for the bridal party bouquets. On short notice, we weren't expecting a lot, but the staff was tremendously helpful and very pleasant. They had more than enough in stock to help us out and provided some additional flowers at a discounted rate. We walked out of there very pleased with our experience and would definitely use them again.

There is a reason Sue is so well known around the island. She did a breathtaking job. She was so accommodating too. She was able to take my vision (or visions) and make them happen. I couldnt stop smelling my flowers and loved the centerpieces that she made for the guestbook area and buffet table. Everything worked together but was different in its own way. If you need to get flowers on Hilton Head, go to Flowers by Sue! I'd use them again in a heartbeat! They offered great guidance and suggestions, and I was absolutely pleased with my bridal bouquet, the matron of honor's bouquet, the flower cross at the alter, the boutonnieres, and wristlets. Oh, and the orchids for my hair held up and were lovely for hours!!! Thank you, Flowers by Sue!

Beautiful flowers

Flowers by Sue made the whole process really easy. I told them what I was looking for, they made some suggestions and then I placed the order! The flowers were beautiful and exactly as I wanted. We had bouquets, boutonnieres and arch flowers. The only problem, is if you're having a Sunday wedding, they're not open so the flowers have to be delivered on Saturday.

I didn't end up using Flowers by Sue, we made our own. But she was very helpful and responded in a very prompt fashion to every question I had. Her prices were the most reasonable of anyone I found on the island. And I would recommend her to anyone.

The flowers were beautiful and the price reflected that. The service however left something to be desired. I did not have a lot of ideas when I picked out my flowers and Sue had no patience and did not give me any ideas to work with, just saying it was all about me and I had to think of what I liked.

Overall, our experience with this florist was far from satisfactory. The combination of poor communication, unprofessionalism, and a lack of accountability means we cannot recommend their services to others.

I emailed with no response so I called about a week before Christmas. She told me she was slammed and would be in touch right after the new year. Christmas eve (a week later) she emailed again saying she hadn't forgotten about me and would be in touch soon. I never heard from her again. Not the kind of vendor I want for my wedding.
