More than just florals - a vision creator

If you ever have the opportunity to book Shamay - DO IT. She is so talented! When I first started planning our wedding, I had a vague vision of what I wanted, and she listened intently and helped create an aesthetic that exceeded all my expectations. From big picture things like thinking through flow of events, to details like bud vases on the dessert table, Shamay had it covered. Plus, she worked to make the flowers as multi-purpose as possible, as our wedding events moved around to multiple locations throughout the day, helping us be efficient with our floral budget. It didn't hurt that she was also an absolute gem and was a delight to work with!

Shamay is absolutely amazing! She did an amazing job on our centerpieces and went above and beyond to make a back drop out of flowers and crystals for the ceremony and covered the garden eve with beautiful garland. She was more than just a florist but actually helped plan our whole wedding look. Our wedding was the most beautiful wedding ever! We still are receiving compliments! We love her so much and couldn’t have asked for more.

I can't speak highly enough about Shamay and her work. My husband and I live in Southern California, but we got married at my parents house in Anacortes this summer. We told Shamay what we were envisioning, and she made all of our dreams come true and then some. I don't know a ton about types of flowers, so I sent her pictures of what I was thinking and I was in awe the day of my wedding that the flowers were beyond what I could have envisioned. She was so great to work with, and when we were unsure of what we wanted for certain things, we gave her free rein and she truly went above and beyond. She is the best! My husband and I are still floored when we look at our pictures and see the stunning flowers. Not to mention what an all around wonderful person Shamay is!

Oh my goodness!! Shamay made my dreams come true!! The flowers at my wedding were INCREDIBLE! My husband and I live in Minneapolis, MN and were recently married in Anacortes, WA. We planned our entire wedding from a far and Shamay was so incredible to work with. She is kind, flexible, and responsive. She went above and beyond for us! She helped with so many details and always offered her feedback and advice. She was always willing to talk about other elements of my wedding as well. I appreciated this so much being that I was so far away and not as familiar with the area. We had about 45 guests at our destination wedding and our flowers were something we were able to invest in. I'm so glad we did! The flowers truly transformed the ballroom and I felt I was living in a fairytale the day of my wedding! My bridal bouquet was gorgeous. The corsages and bouts were beautiful. She also made a beautiful design installation of rose petals at Washington Park for our ceremony. It was magical! Shamay is a true artist!! I'm so very lucky to have met her and to have had her be part of our wedding day.

Our experience with Shamay was incredible from start to finish. She is professional, personable, uber creative and super talented. Her floral designs are fragrant, lush and stylish. She is great at running with a theme and has a number of rental resources beyond flowers to make any tablescape and/or venue extra special. I would work with Shamay again in a heartbeat! We can't thank her and her amazing team enough for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!

Shamay is such a delightful and artistic person to work with. Her designs, use of a variety of flowers and understanding of what you want is beyond expectations. Shamay is very helpful! I didn't know exactly what I wanted in regards to style or flowers but after a couple of meetings she had a good feeling about what I wanted. When I saw the flowers at the venue they were more than I ever expected. She was also nice enough to keep by flower budget in mind and didn't pressure me into anything I didn't really want. Loved working with her! Highly recommend!

I would absolutely recommend having your flowers done by Shamay! I am really not a flower person (I couldn't name any of the types of flowers I wanted to use), but she was super easy going, understanding, and helpful in coming up with a plan. She even helped me brainstorm ways to make things slightly cheaper when she could. I sent her pictures and pinterest pages of what I wanted, and was constantly updating her with more and more ideas, and she was always flexible and accomodating! I had my wedding up on the islands and she even delivered my flowers to the ferry dock for me a day early so I wouldn't have to worry about the day-of (we had a fridge to store them all in). They all looked absolutely flawless, and made my big day gorgeous. Definitely a recommended vendor.

Shamay Andrich with Flowers by Shamay is outstanding. She is a true professional with a natural ability to make the most beautiful arrangements for your wedding. Our wedding was a classy Southern Wedding in Sonoma at an exclusive historical home. I showed her pictures on my pinterest board, and she not only made even more amazing flower bouquets and arrangements, but she surprised me with a few rare flowers that were really hard to find during the month of my wedding. Her upbeat positive fun personality just adds even more beauty to her flowers. I would HIGHLY recommend her. She always got back to me on time, she is organized, and truly delivered the most amazing, breathtaking flowers for my wedding. The flowers stole the show! Trust me, Shamay is worth every penny. There are literally no words to describe how she transformed our ceremony site and reception site into something from our dreams.
Shamay is top notch. I can't say enough positive things about her. She spent countless hours on the phone with me PRIOR making sure we had every detail covered. THANK YOU FOR BLOWING ME AWAY! I knew Shamay was feelin our style from the first Conversation on the phone.. but nothing could have prepared me for the intoxifying colors and flower choices she made. We trusted Shamay with all creative aspects and we are so thankful that we did. She is a true artist with incredible attention to detail. If you want quality and one of a kind.. Shamay is your go to. Shamay is amazing!! So friendly & accomodating. My wedding turned out beautiful. Had so many compliments on the flower arrangements. Flowers were bright & fresh so it made it great to give the bouquets to family & friends when the wedding was over. Shamay is top notch! Having used her services more than once, I would highly recommend her for any event. Not only was Shamay easy to work with, she was friendly, organized, and helped make my wedding a success. She took my vision of what I wanted in a bouqet and turned it into a beautiful work of art! Shamay went above and beyond what I expected and the quality of flowers was amazing. She added additional touches to things that I didn't expect from extra flowers on tables to more flowers at the ceremony site. I will definitely recommend this florist to anyone and will use again!

Shamay's work was absolutely gorgeous! We planned everything over the phone (I live out of state) in the months leading up to the wedding and she made me feel more excited about it every time we talked. I don't know the names of most flowers so she had me send pictures of what I like and she took it from there.
My favorite part was how she decorated the ceremony, she created the most beautiful interlocking heart design with flower petals that went up the aisle and at the "alter" there was an arch with a flower garland attached. For centerpieces we were going for a rustic look without being too cliche, she found wooden boxes and they were over flowing with beautiful flowers. The colors matched the purple I had picked out perfectly!
She showed up to the venue on time and set up everything for us! She even stuck around through the ceremony so she could move the flower garland to reuse as the flowers on the head table. I have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful of a wedding it was, it wouldn't have been possible without Shamay!

Shamay is truly a flower artist....I knew the minute that I saw her work that she was who we wanted for our wedding flowers. She has an amazing style and eye that she easily adapts to your personality and style. Our rose pedal aisle was just like I dreamed and my oversize bouquet was beyond words, not to mention the arch flowers that she made removable to serve a dual purpose for the reception. Shamay is a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond to make sure that we had the wedding flowers of our dreams. We could not have asked for anything more....she is simply amazing and we would highly recommend her to anyone for their special occasion.

I planned my wedding from out of state in a short period of time so I really needed vendors who were professional and communicated efficiently. Shamay was incredible and easy to work with! She is phenomenal with communication, easy and fun to talk with, and has such incredible talent. I knew by our conversations via phone and email that the flowers would look amazing - But when I saw them the day of the wedding I was completely blown away! Shamay was one of my favorite vendors to work with. Before we met, I was worried because I only had a vague plan for what I wanted. Shamay put me completely at ease by taking my vague ideas and running with them. It was such a stress off my mind! Shamay was wonderful! She really listened and took care to make every floral detail for our wedding beautiful. We had seven gorgeous bouquets in shades of pink and gold, 8 boutenneires, 5 table centerpieces, a spectacular garland of greenery and mixed florals for the alter, and two unique floral vintage purses for the mothers of the bride and groom. Shamay's arrangements were simply gorgeous. Her style is unique, classic, and fresh. She has an artistic eye, bringing a variety of flowers, scents, colors, textures, and greenery together with movement, flow, and beauty. I got compliments from countless guests and vendors on how amazing our wedding flowers were. The photographs of our wedding were enhanced by the flowers and Shamay's work made ours one if the mist beautiful weddings I've ever seen. Thank you Shamay!

The flowers were beautiful, the colors were perfect, and the style was beyond how we had envisioned! The floral purses for the bride's and groom's mothers were creative and amazing! There was no drama when a last minute additional bouquet was needed. The creativity, artistry, and results speak for themselves; we received so many compliments that our wedding was the most beautiful that anyone had been to, and the bouquets, center pieces, mantle garland, rose petals, and all of the amazing floral details were definitely part of the beauty! This review is for Shamay Andrich who to my absolute delight provided me with my wedding bouquet, wedding party flowers, and also designed a garland for our arbor. I cannot express how amazing she is to work with, she listened intently to my ideas and made suggestions when needed. Not only did she do an amazing job on my wedding bouquet, but she took it upon herself to make each one of my bridesmaids an individual bouquet (had originally ordered wrist corsages) because she felt they needed something more. The garland she made was exactly how I imagined it and so much more! Any bride or non-bride will be lucky to have Shamay provide them with flowers for their special day, she is extremely professional and incredibly kind. Thank you Shamay for adding to the magic of such a special moment in mine and my husbands lives, we sincerely appreciate your hard work and personable approach!

We were likely more involved than most in bridal flowers and we were also pretty logistically difficult in that the bride and groom live in Kyoto, Japan. Shamay did a remarkable job at dealing with both -- plumbing out our ideas and vision, enhancing it with her expertise, and then making it all work in terms of flower availability and budget. She let us get into the process but helped us stay on track. She's a great person and terrifically easy to work with. The flowers were an integral part of a beautiful event -- she really nailed it. I can't think of any reason not to work with her.

Shamay made me the most beautiful bouquet for my wedding! I told her some of the colors we were using and she nailed it. In fact, we put together a different bouquet for the bouquet toss because there was no way I was tossing the one Shamay made for me to get ruined! Oh my... have been thinking for 2 weeks how to say enough about Shamay. She came to our home and made magic. My son and daughter in law wanted a summer garden party wedding. Shamay does such a fantastic job! This was fairly last minute for a friend's wedding, and the bouquet was absolutely perfect! The size, flower selection and colors were exactly what the bride envisioned. I made contact, gave the pertinent information and we agreed on a drop off time. The flowers arrived as promised and even a bit early. I was as pleased with this bouquet as I was with the ones for our two daughters' weddings.

From the garlands in the trees to the tabletops Shamay did an amazing job of bring our vision to life. Floral arrangements included succulents and flowering plants that now reside in my yard to continue to remind me of our wonderful day.

I really had no clue what I wanted for my wedding as far as flowers went... Shamay was so patient and accommodating with us; with a few vague descriptions and some idea of colors we might like she dreamed up gorgeous and unique bouquets and boutonnieres for myself, my husband, and the whole wedding party, not to mention the absolutely beautiful table centerpieces and decorations for the guest book and dessert tables. We were both awed by the final result. Thanks Shamay!

Shamay did a fabulous job with our wedding flowers. We planned our destination wedding from out of state, so I had to describe what I wanted through words and internet pictures. Through a few delightful conversations with Shamay, she was able to see my vision and produced bouquets and centerpieces that were more beautiful that I could have imagined. I gave her some freedom as far as adding/deleting little aspects that she felt made the overall look better, and I was not disappointed. Shamay even delivered the flowers to Orcas Island, which required a ferry ride and at least a half day trip. In my opinion, she went above and beyond to make our special day beautiful. We would recommend her to anyone needing décor and flowers.

Shamay is amazing to work with! She is attentive, flexible, professional and incredibly gifted. Her arrangements are unparalleled and her vision is amazing. I absolutely love the flowers that Shamay did for me. She really captured the design that I wanted. Shamay exceeded my expectation! She was also very quick in responding to my inquiries via email. Shamay is simply the best! She made our wedding quite stunning through her flower work! What was most impressive was her willingness to work with us even though we gave her very short notice. Her pricing is reasonable and her eye and talent for flower work is quite awesome. Flowers by Shamay were simply beautiful. I am the father of the bride, and as critical as the bride. Shamay during the whole process was professional. The quality of her work is above and beyond even my expectations. Shamay arrived at the venue on time. Shamay went to work right away. Not only did she set up her flowers, but actually took control and helped set up everything she could for the wedding. Shamay did not leave the venue until all work was accomplished, and everyone had their boutonniere pinned to them. I gave her five stars because she deserved every one.
For any occasion, I personally recommend Flowers by Shamay.

Shamay was FABULOUS to work with. From the first phone call I had with her, it was clear she understood and appreciated the theme and feel of our wedding, and the type of flowers and 'look' we were hoping for. She checked in regularly, arrived on-time on our wedding day, and the flowers were absolutely gorgeous!!! In fact, I couldn't bear to throw my bridal bouquet, so threw an alternate bouquet instead - my bridal bouquet is now hanging to dry so I can treasure it for years to come :-) Flowers by Shamay contributed to a day that was totally wonderful, happy and beautiful.

Thank you for absolutely everything! Flowers by Shamay went above and beyond all of our expectations. We received countless compliments on how stunning everything was down to every detail from the tables, the aisle, the bouquets, and the boutineers. The groom said as he looked around the dinning room that he was speechless at how beautiful everything looked. Our wedding planner said the arrangements were the best he had ever seen. Shamay helped make this such an amazing day. She is truly a floral visionary and captured the essence of the wedding exactly how it was imagined. We were honored to have her be apart of the planning and apart of the day.

The flowers were exactly what I wanted (actually better) and I gave very little direction. She just "got it". I feel she went above and beyond with the quality she delivered, she also took the time to set-up and adjust the arrangements at the site, and even thought to bring some extra flowers to fill things in as needed.

If you haven't already, take a look at the pictures on her website. I was of course a bit nervous that only her best work was shown there but judging by what I got those pictures very accurately represent her work.

I do want to mention that the flowers she did for me were actually for my Mom's memorial service, but I found her by looking for a wedding florist (because I didn't want those awful, stiff, sad, traditional funeral flowers for my mom) and this sight doesn't offer "memorial service" as an event I could select...still, I am super, super picky and can tell you that these flowers were more important to me than flowers for my wedding. Beyond that, she was great dealing with the emotional mess I was. I had a freakout moment the day before the memorial, which unbeknownst to me was also her son's graduation. She texted me from the graduation to let me know where she was and that she would be calling me when she left there. Wow, if that isn't customer service I don't know what is! I fully, without hesitation, recommend Shamay for any event you need gorgeous, creative arrangements for. She will do a great job for you!

Shamay was absolutely amazing! She knew I was on a tight budget and worked with me on ideas to keep costs low, but made sure I still got what I wanted. I LOVE flowers and definitely didn't want to scimp on them on the most important day of my life! Trying to save money, I was going to do my flowers myself. Realizing it was nearly impossible for me to all that work myself, and to have to settle for flowers because I couldn't afford what I truly wanted, I lost hope on getting my dream floral creations for my wedding. I finally started searching for a professional and went straight to Shamay. She had done my cousins wedding that prior May and did an outstanding job! She was great to work with, easy to communicate with, and handled my out of the ordinary requests with perfection! I got all the colors that I wanted (we had a "rainbow" wedding, 5 different colors) and the quality of flowers was top notch! They survived being outside on the hottest day of the year so that tells you something. I would MOST definitely recommend Shamay, you won't find a better florist for the quality, price and experience :)

Working with Shamay for our daughter's wedding was an excellent experience. Shamay went out of her way to coordinate with our daughter, who was living in CA...though the wedding was in WA. Her ideas and energy were contagious and such a help to us. She aimed to please us in every way, shape and form and created beautiful flowers within our budget. Shamay was absolutely wonderful to work with and my flowers were exactly what I dreamed they would be. I don't know anything about the names of flowers but I was able to explain what look I was going for and Shamay made it a reality. Had an incredible experience with Flowers by Shamay. During our first meeting she had a great vision within minutes of me throwing out just a couple of things that I liked. My colors were ivory, champagne/gold & purple. We did purple tulips for the bridal party and my bouquet was ivory flowers with specs of gold throughout. My description does it LITTLE justice. IT was incredible. She is sweet and smart and you won't be disappointed!

Shamaye is an amazing artist! The quality of her design by far exceeded my expectations. In our initial discussions she was incredibly personable and skillfully honed into my thoughts/ideas offering recommendations that enhanced the experience. Shamay is very knowledgeable about flowers, and she was able to start from our rough ideas and quickly create a beautiful vision for our wedding. She is clearly passionate about what she does, and she was willing to work with us on some special designs we wanted for our pagan ceremony space. My flower arrangements for the wedding turned out absolutely beautiful. I wanted a single flower bouquet, but she was even able to dress that up so it looked elegant and full. I had a very specific arrangement in mind, and Shamay was able to re-create it exactly as I wanted.
