Flowers by Orie did amazing!! From the beginning, there has been excellent communication. They did a wonderful job with our wedding florals!! The bouquets were full, fragrant, and beautifully arranged!! We received so many compliments on our flowers. Flowers by Orie even made custom wreaths for our two dogs whom were our flowers girls! The team was so professional and understanding. They work with your budget and ideas. They even help me figuring out what I may need as my wedding was the first church wedding I ever attended.
They were so lovely and patient with us. Neither of us is a native speaker and our flower vocabulary is limited but they made sure that we were heard. Flowers were beautiful and lasted a long time.

Orie and Evie made all my dreams come true by bringing my vision to life and made the room extraordinarily elegant. You can not go wrong by choosing Flowers by Orie. They are easy to work with, and fairly priced. The flowers were fresh, colorful and when a few days before my wedding a few of my chosen flowers had frozen in the delivery. Beautiful florals, sweet couple to work with.
Orie and Evie were so sweet to work with for our wedding. They made sure to understand the look we were going for, offered plenty of options, and helped us choose every little floral detail that made our day so beautiful. They helped me to source some vases that were outside of their standard inventory, to make sure to match our wedding vision. And on top of that, tthey were really great with understanding our budget and helping to make sure we stayed within it.
Orie and Evie were also very communicative, and easy to work with.
Our day was absolutely beautiful, many thanks to them.

Evie and Orie are the absolute sweetest couple. They work together to make your wedding floral dreams come true. We were not sure what flowers we wanted exactly, and they were knowledgeable and together we came up with stunning floral bouquets, corsages, boutonnières, center pieces and more. The colors for my wedding were a bit more challenging because not many flowers have the deep purple that I was envisioning. They had a set of flower flashcards to help develop the thematic vision and also helped me with the budget I wanted to stay within. Although I did not want to spend a great deal of money on the flowers, they were very sweet and made sure that they gave me attention to make my day special. Other florists seemed to think I was not worth the time. Even after we had selected flowers, they reached out when they thought our original decisions may not have worked and we were able to revisit the selections and make sure the day went well. They are extremely sweet, professional, and just a lovely couple you would love to keep working with. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved working with Evie & Orie for our flower needs for our wedding last fall! When we first found them online, we set up a meeting in their home when my mom was in town, and I felt like they really took the time to get to know us as a couple and what we really wanted out of the flowers for our day. They are kind and thoughtful and gave us a number of different options. When the first estimate came in higher than our budget, they were so easy to work with to adjust things while still providing exactly what we wanted. They were very responsive throughout the entire process, punctual on our wedding day (by the time I got the venue they were gone and their work was AMAZING - which is a huge relief as a bride to not worry about the flowers), and professional every step of the way. I would highly recommend working with them - they are a lovely couple who clearly have a passion for doing this and it's a much better experience than working with a big company. AMAZING floral creations!!
The bouquets and table decorations they made for my wedding were absolutely incredible and gorgeous. Their design came out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. My fiance and I gave Evie & Orie our preferences and they came up with a gorgeous design that added the perfect touch to our wedding color scheme. From the moment we spoke with Evie and Orie, we knew that they were going to be great. They genuinely cared, offered great advice, and helped us work and stay within our budget. They were extremely flexible and patient throughout the process and we'd highly recommend them again. We were referred to other "highly recommended" florists who gave us a take it or leave it approach, but Evie and Orie were anything but that.
Evie and Orie were prompt on the day of, and made sure everything looked exactly like what we talked to them about. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Orie and Evie are great to work with! They design custom flower arrangements based on your vision and sample pictures you provide to your appointment. They had great ideas to enhance our vision, all while ensuring we remained within our budget. The flower arrangements for our wedding were beautiful with red roses (hard to come by in February). Their professionalism ensures the flowers and set-up are the least of your worries. There were some aspects of our wedding we had to keep up with (day of) to ensure they were done and set-up properly, and it was such a relief that our flowers weren’t one of those aspects! Everything was done behind the scenes flawlessly, and for that we are grateful. Thanks again Orie and Evie — we loved our flowers and got so many compliments from our guests!

Orie and his wife are such amazing people inside and out, and their passion for what they do really reflects in the quality of their work. I sent them pictures of what I was looking for, along with a very tight budget since my fiancé and I were paying for everything on our own, and they far surpassed and exceeded our expectations. The bouquet arrangements came out PERFECT, and what I loved even more is they took ownership on swapping out one type of flower last minute as the batch they ordered came in and looked underwhelming((according to their expectations)). Every piece of detail was thought out and they did a fantastic job. I will only recommend them for any special occasion and have become lifelong clients. Thank you bit so so much 😭😂

Florist First Responders
Our wedding day was definitely one that we will forever look back upon and tell our children and grandchildren about for generations to come. The #WoosleyFire broke out in the eve of our wedding and, come Friday morning, it had completely engulfed our beautiful city and local communities in flames and despair. On Friday morning, day of the wedding, you could imagine how chaotic it was for me and my husband to process what was going on, let alone to figure out how to salvage our ceremony and reception plans due to mandatory evacuations all throughout East Ventura County cities.
Early Friday morning, Orie and Evie contacted me to inquire about our safety from the fires. The 101 freeway was completely shut down due to the fires and they were unable to deliver our flowers to the venue; however, they worked diligently with my bridal party and family friends to coordinate a delivery plan so that we could have the beautiful centerpieces and bridal party flowers at the ceremony and new venue that I had to book last minute due to our original venue closing. Of course, they were extremely professional and considerate with refunding me for delivery fees due to the road closures and we ended up having a beautiful wedding day.
Orie and Evie, Wesley and I are so unbelievably grateful to you both for your patience and flexibility on our wedding day. You will forever be remembered in our wedding story for generations to come.

Impressed by the level of detail in the contract spelling out the terms and conditions were clear. Evie and Orie were delightful to work with as they were not only friendly, professional and humorous too. Evie and Orie were under a tight deadline to complete the decorations on the stair rails, Arch, fountain display. The centerpieces were stunning and no one left any behind. Furthermore the bike basket display was amazing with draping ivy and roses and various flowers in the baskets. Of course my bridal bouquet and daughter’s bouquets was amazing. Everything they touched was a work of art!

Let me start by saying I know very little about flowers. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, I just wanted it to be beautiful and affordable. Then we stumbled upon Flowers by Orie and we got exactly what we wanted. The consultation put us at ease as they showed us examples of previous work and things they had that would be similar to what we wanted. They were able to give us an estimate very quickly afterwards. Our flowers were gorgeous the day of the wedding and the set up was easy.

It was a pleasure working with Evie and Orie. They were so polite and professional and helpful in making this process as stressless as possible. At one point I was unsure of which type of flowers to go with for my theme and they helped me out very much by providing some creative options which made it so much easier for me to make my final decision. I received so many compliments on my flowers and candles the day of my wedding. I highly recommend Flowers by Orie as they have proven that flowers do not have to cost a fortune to look beautiful and I would definitely work with them again!

We made a few changes close to the wedding and they were happy to do it. Another thing I loved was that they follow up and confirm they understand what we are requesting. Where to begin!? My husband & I felt so confident in Flowers by Orie after our meeting because they were so friendly, professional, really easy to work with, patient, & accommodating. When we sat down with them, they had a centerpiece in the middle of the table so we could get ideas. When I showed them pictures of roughly what style/look we liked, they were quick to grab their centerpiece items & create something similar. They would not stop changing it up until we were really happy with a look. We told them our budget & they did not sugarcoat at all about what we could get with our budget - but in a very nice, realistic way. They did suggest alternative flowers & delivery to bring down the cost & worked with our budget so well. The flowers were so beautiful & fresh on the wedding day! Everyone loved them & thought the centerpieces were classy & elegant. We highly suggest Flowers by Orie!

Our wedding was in August/2016 at Malibu West Beach Club by the ocean and Evie and Orie made our wedding more than beautiful. They are a wonderful couple. After getting a super expensive quote from a flower shop in Beverly Hills I began researching online to find a more feasible florist. I reviewed a few well rated florist. Evie and Orie were amongst them. We set an appointment with them, and after meeting them we stopped shopping around. They won our decision right away. They are very stylist and very easy to work with. They did a fabulous job on our wedding. For our center pieces they used some lightings with made them look even more fabulous. I wont give out their secrets, as they will tell you in person if you meet with them. But their idea was very very unique and everyone was amazed by our flowers. I highly recommend this lovely couple. They will give you the prettiest wedding with very reasonable price. It was worth every penny. They have been in the flower business for a long time, and they know everything there is about flowers. They emphasis on the freshness of flowers goes beyond words. I was at a wedding a week before mine, and although the couple had spend much more money on their flowers, ours looked so much more fresh. This is a huge aspect of wedding flowers. I guess other places either recycle flowers or something else that I cant think of. But most weddings I have been to towards the end of the wedding the flowers look beat up. Our looked fresh for another few days to follow. They know how to keep flowers as if they were just picked. Overall my wife and I loved Evie and Orie, and we will highly recommend them to any newly wedded couples who are having their weddings. With Evie and Orie nothing will go wrong. Take my word for it, they will go way beyond your expectations.

We setup a meeting with them, but we were a little hesitant and feeling discouraged by all the previous quotes we had received. Orie and Evie were very understanding of our budget and told us what kinds of flowers and simulated different designs that they could make based on what we wanted and the pictures we showed them. Over the course of the planning, we met a few times with them and it was so much fun! Orie and Evie are very genuine and kind people. They are very creative and very knowledgeable! My daughter chose Flowers by Orie as her wedding florists (the wedding was 5/7/16). She made an excellent choice! Due to a long distance, I was not at any of the planning meetings, but was there on the wedding day and loved the look Orie came up with. He did an excellent job creating exquisite centerpieces, bouquets/corsages/bouts, church/altar arrangements and other table decor like for the cocktail tables and welcome tables. There were flowers I had never seen or heard of before, and it had a lovely textured look. My daughter and son-in-law told me how great it was to work and plan with the people at Flowers by Orie. Orie & Evie Raphael of "Flowers by Orie" are so kind, lovely, and most of all top notch/highly impressive florists. Their pleasant & friendly personalities really shined through no matter how I communicated with them (via email, phone or in person meetings). In addition, they were extremely prompt in their correspondence - definitely replied within one business day. One thing that stood out the most to me, compared to other florists meetings, was the amount of time both Orie & Evie spent with me at our initial inquiry meeting. They had sample flowers on hand or in books to show me how something would look and constantly asked my opinion & vision of things. Very thorough! They even let me view and hold the sponge devices they use to make the French (round) bouquets. Another very nice gesture was Evie had me drop by when I was in the neighborhood to give my approval of the shade of turquoise ribbon they were thinking of using at my church as "pew swag". How considerate & awesome is that?! My husband and I will miss our meetings and correspondence with these two. We highly enjoyed working with them, and couldn't have been happier with all floral arrangements being delivered & ready in plenty of time and with the beautiful corsages, boutineers, amazing bouquets, unique and gorgeous centerpieces and other table arrangements they created for our wedding ceremony and reception. "Flowers by Orie" is a most wonderful florist company headed by a husband/wife team (Orie & Evie - they're just as cute as their names are together!). My husband & I chose them as our florists for our wedding which was earlier this month. Hands down these two had the ~*BEST*~ customer service. Orie spent the most time with me out of the 5 florists I met with. I loved that he had pictures/fact cards/drawings to show me as well as actual flowers he already had in his refrigerated work room inside of their beautiful home (safe & quaint neighborhood with ample parking). The fact that Orie took copious notes & was so interested in what I envisioned/wanted meant so much to me. Other florists would show me something in their gallery & say "we can do this, but in your colors." I could tell right away the quality of their work & expansive knowledge --- they've been doing this for a very long time. Orie/Evie are super speedy in replying via email or phone call, and they (while still remaining professional) make you feel like family. They're such warm people who are easy to talk to & offer hugs if you're ok with that. After one meeting, Evie gave me a bag of homemade cookies she had baked earlier that day - which were delicious btw! Plus, we accepted their offer to accompany them to the DTLA flower district on a Saturday morning to get more ideas of what types of flowers & arrangements we like. It was really cool to experience that, and to be told the pricing on everything. Very much impressed me how honest & open they were about prices. They did a stellar job on my wedding day. I loved my bouquet, my bridesmaids' bouquets (the bear grass halo look crafted by Orie is -awesome-), the vases they helped us choose for our centerpieces, the mini manzanita accent pieces on our welcome tables, and the centerpieces themselves were perfect for our Greco-Roman motif. Orie and Evie provided flowers for our wedding last weekend. I highly recommend them. The flowers created a tasteful, elegant, and romantic visual effect that added greatly to the atmosphere of the wedding and reception.
Prior to meeting with Orie and Evie, I sent them pictures of bouquets and other things I had in mind. When my mother met with them the first time (I live out of town), they had actually figured out exactly how the bouquets in the pictures had been created, how many flowers it took, how much it would cost to replicate, and how these bouquet ideas could be made even better and, at the same time, less expensive while getting the same effect. From the beginning, cost and budget were part of the conversation and they were quick to suggest ways to keep costs down.
Two things strike me about Orie and Evie: 1) They REALLY know what they are doing. And they know the tricks of the trade, pitfalls to avoid, etc., while still seeing this as a process unique to every bride and groom. 2) Their hearts are in the right place. As we played with what we wanted in and out of our order, they were extremely patient and flexible. While they were up front about what each item would cost, at no time did I feel they were putting their own financial gain first.
Really, the results were stunning. Many guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they had attended and the flowers were definitely a big part of that. Thank you, Orie and Evie, for being so patient!

I found Evie and Orie while looking at reviews here on weddingwire and made an appointment to meet with them. At the time I was contemplating DIY centerpieces but wanted to get quotes for bouquets, boutounierres, ect. We hit it off right from the start, they are two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. The prices they offer are very affordable and I ended up decided to go with centerpieces with them instead of making them myself. I changed my mind on my bouquet probably 10 different times and they were so nice and helpful each and every time. We ended up getting 14 centerpieces, 11 boutouinneres, 5 corsages, 6 BM bouquets, my bouquet, and decorations for the cake table from them. Everything looked amazing but my bouquet was stunning (if I do say so myself). I received so many compliments and have actually decided to get my bouquet freezedried! Evie and Orie also came to find me while dropping everything off the afternoon of the wedding to wish me luck. They are absolutely wonderful.

Evie and Orie are able to accommodate almost any request, but for a wedding like ours, they were the perfect choice. We had a small-ish (80 person) Jewish wedding at venue with a lot of natural beauty in Topanga Canyon. Flowers By Orie created my bouquet, corsages/bouts, centerpieces, potted succulent favors for each guest, our Chuppah, and also found burlap table runners for us. The style -- dahlias, and succulents -- matched my vision and our venue perfectly. They went above and beyond to create a beautiful rustic-looking Chuppah at the venue (something at which they were already very experienced), and hunted down the perfect succulents and terra cotta pots that we imagined. All of the planning took place over the phone, email and at their home -- they could not have been more welcoming to us. They are professional, but the opposite of "businesslike." I think our flowers showcased that warmth!

I cannot say enough about how great Evie and Orie were to not only work with but also how they crafted beautiful flower arrangements. They were the only florist I met with because as soon as my husband and I had our first consultation with them I knew they were the greatest. They were very knowledgeable about in season flowers, which were the best for bouquets vs centerpieces and so on. They were prepared for our consultation with great ideas. I could reach them anytime and they gave us ample time and opportunity to make changes to color, flowers, number of bouquets, etc. They also were very affordable, everywhere I read I saw expensive bouquets and centerpieces and I would refer back to my budget and see that I was getting beautiful work at a very good price, I had the most beautiful wedding and that was partly attributed to the hard work and passion of Evie and Orie.

The wedding gown is the "it" thing the bride looks forward to (besides marrying her groom, of course) in a wedding, but the next best thing that just brings out butterflies and emotions to the bride is the bouquet that she will be holding as she walks down the aisle to meet her love. The white roses intersected with purple cymbidium orchids designed by Flowers by Orie for my bridal bouquet did just that. My bouquet was amazingly feminine, what I exactly wanted, and beyond beautiful.
We found Flowers by Orie through WeddingWire and we booked them early on in the wedding planning when my then fiance and I have not had the full picture in our head of what we wanted the wedding to look like. We knew we wanted some sort of Asian feeling so we opted for orchids and cherry blossoms. Orie and Evie helped us visualize and put into words what we had imagined our wedding would look like.We sat down with them at their office to discuss our ideas and they provided some suggestion that were beneficial to our vision.They were very knowledgeable about different kinds of flowers and what are in season.
I remember sitting with Orie and Evie and I mentioned I wanted my bouquet to have white and purple in it. Evie pulled a bouquet holder, threw in some white roses and purple lisianthus and she handed that to me and even with that incomplete bouquet just for a sample, I saw how beautiful their talent in arrangement is already.
On wedding day, they came right on time to deliver flowers and had also gone to my groom's room to pin the bouts to the guys. They also helped me put the charm of my late dad's photo to hang around my bridal bouquet.
At the ceremony and the reception, everything was beautiful!I was in awe of the gazebo and the cherry blossom stems alongside of it. The petals on the aisle were amazing. The centerpieces were beautiful and all the lavender petals in the tables added a lovely touch.
Their passion truly transcends in their work! Definitely recommend!

They truly care about the individuals they are working with and take the time to make sure everything is absolutely perfect, and just the way the client requested. Evie and Orie are the owners and they have a true passion for what they do and it comes out in their amazing work! I would highly recommend them to anyone with any type of event!

I would highly recommend Flowers by Orie for any occasion. They are a lovely husband and wife team, who not only are a pleasure to work with but provided outstanding service! I was referred to them from a relative and hired them after our initial meeting, without seeing their work at another event. They spent 2 hours during our initial meeting really listening to my vision for the wedding and guiding me with suggestions. I had met with other florists previously, who instead of listening to my thoughts for the day, gave me their vision for my wedding. Orie and Evie patiently went through every floral piece until we found the right look. They even met with me a second time closer to the wedding to go through some last minute changes and never made me feel like an imposition. On the contrary, they always made me feel that they were so happy to be helping me with my big day!
I hired them to do the bridal party flowers, decorate the aisle, reception room, and make the chupah. All of the flower arrangements were stunning! My bridal bouquet was exquisite and the centerpieces really brought the room to life. Furthermore, I have been told by countless people how wonderful the chupah was that they created (and I agree!). I explained to them that I wanted something that imbued nature and blended in with our beautiful outdoor space. They took my ideas and set to work on constructing a new chupah that would meet my needs (they even put it together a month before so that I could view and make sure it was to my liking). I cannot say enough good things about Flowers by Orie so please consider hiring them for your wedding or big occasion! I know that I will be hiring them again :)

There are not enough wonderful words to give to Orie and Evie. We planned our wedding out of state and were very nervous about how things would look at the wedding when we finally made it to CA. There was no reason in the world to be nervous about the flowers. Evie and Orie did such a wonderful job, it exceeded what I was expecting. Not only did they have the lowest price on their proposal, but they also were the most friendly and professional. I LOVED working with them. We met the day of our wedding at the venue and it was like I had known them for years. They are just the sweetest people you can imagine meeting. The flowers for the ceremony were just lovely and my bouquet was perfection. The flowers for the recepton at the tables were beyond what I was hoping for. I fully and happily recommend Flowers by Orie. You will NOT be disappointed.

My wedding was this past march and my florist flowers by orie were recommended from a friend and im glad they did because they did phenominal. the flowers down to the centerpieces and corsages and boutineers and bouquets were fresh and not wilted they were bright and colorful. my bouquet was perfect just what i asked for. we had a tight budget and they worked with our budget they were so responsive to what we wanted they never did anything we didnt want they were friendly and arrived on time to the venue. i would recommend them to a friend any time.

They are very sweet and gave my mom and I great ideas for flowers. My flowers turned out beautiful! I absolutely LOVED my bouquet! The centerpieces looked great with the lights inside the vases. I received comments from guests that they were really nice. Ceremony room looked great! Very nice floral decorations on the cake. They had everything set up on time for both the ceremony and reception room. I was very happy with the turnout. Thanks for my beautiful wedding flowers!

I had a very tight budget. Another florist actually laughed at me when I told her my budget. Evie and Orie were so gracious and accommodating. They really worked with me and cared about the end result. I got exactly what I wanted and at the price I wanted. I cannot recommend them enough. I got so many compliments on all the flowers and working with them is like working with an old friend.

When we first met Orie and Evie, we brought our original design for our centerpieces. They showed us how to make it more amazing and on the day of our wedding, everyone commented on how beautiful the centerpieces were. I loved all of our flowers, the arch floral decoration, aisle decoration, bouquets and bouts, centerpieces, the cake table flowers and how they decorated our sweetheart table. We had a small budget but with their expertise, my flowers were beautiful and elegant.

I gave communicated my idea for centerpieces to them and they exceeded my expectations - guests kept commenting on how beautiful they were. My weddign flowers (bouquet, flower girl halo, cake table flowers, aisle flowers, and bouts, and of course centerpieces) were simply beautfiul.
Evie and Orie were wonderful to work with. They did not make me feel bad about my relatively small budget, were responsive, and completely flexible (I kept making changes to my order). It was almost like working with an aunt and uncle who happen to be florists!

The flowers were beauitful. My guested loved the orginal center piece arrangements. Orie's staff showed up on time and work efficently so everything was in place for the pictures. I highly recommend Orie to the bride you wants orginal arrangements.

We had a rather small budget, but Flowers by Orie made our wedding look like a million bucks! The flowers were exactly what we wanted: elegant, simple, and beautiful. Evie and Orie took care of us as if we were family. They helped the gentlemen pin on the boutonnieres, distributed the corsages to the ladies, and were there to hand me my bouquet when I arrived at the church. We are very happy with the service we received, and highly recommend this vendor!

Very unique and wonderful flowers which suited our unique mainland reception in the winter after a fall Kauai wedding. They blended seasonal flowers into tropical flowers making the most of both themes. The boquets, center pieces and most of all, flowers for the two dogs in the ceremony who brought us together in the first place, were beautiful.

I had a Platinum Wedding last weekend that will be featured in magazines, a television series and a movie and owe great thanks to Evy and Orie for making my fairytale theme realistic. Their professionalism, creativity and expertise was noted by hundreds of guests who attended my wedding to include reputable attorneys, musicians, actors and CEOs who have continuously been contacting me inquiring about who was the mastermind behind the exquisite decor.
From day one, they treated me like family. They took their time with me and encouraged my ideas to merge with their experience and created the most amazing floral arrangements that I have ever seen and that will be remembered by many.
I am truly honored that Flowers by Orie designed my wedding. I just wish I meet them sooner so I could have known them longer and have had them decorate all of my prior events.
The quality of service was five stars. The flowers themselves were so gorgeous, they did not even look real.
Evie and Orie always respond promptly via e-mail and phone.
