Beautiful flowers and great service
Lisa and her team at Rosy Posy did a fabulous job with our wedding flowers. My daughter had a specific vision and Lisa did a great job capturing this. We had so many compliments on all the centerpieces as well as the bridesmaids and bride bouquets. Thank you so much Lisa! -

Lisa was the most amazing from excellent communication to beautiful installation. She understood the vision and ran with it in the best of ways. Our ceremony space was very windy and she made everything look beautiful. She even was able to reuse flowers from our welcome party for cocktail hour to fill the space more. Despite dealing with personal tragedy she showed up with a smile on her face and produced beautiful flowers. -

We found Lisa at the recommendation of our wedding planner, and we're so glad we did. From day one, she understood our vision for florals perfectly and she fully brought them to life on the wedding day. The bouquets and boutonnieres were perfect, and she totally transformed our reception space into a moody, romantic vision with beautiful centerpieces and navy candles. She even ordered special ribbon for us to wrap around our bouquets and accents because it went with our wedding theme. At every point throughout the wedding planning process, it felt like she was there to answer our questions, brainstorm with us, and do whatever we needed to make our dreams a reality. She was always willing to have candid conversations with us about budget and shift things around to make sure we stayed at a price point where we were comfortable. She let us come to her studio and pick out little details, and was more than happy to provide additional items to decorate our reception and cocktail space. She's the best and we can't recommend her enough. -

PERFECT, beautiful wedding flowers
Lisa will make your wedding flower dreams come true!!! She "got" my vision immediately. After our first call, she sent over a proposal that was everything I had in mind and more. And on the wedding day, she somehow went above and beyond that!! She made our bouquets, boutonnieres, altar arch, seating arrangement, ceiling installation, centerpieces, aisle decor, and more I'm probably forgetting, and everything was lush, fresh, and absolutely stunning. She also provided candles and other little decor items that made everything come together beautifully. Her pricing is reasonable given how much of an artist she is. Plus, she is a lovely, warm person who created a seating chart display I requested a month out with a smile on her face. Thank you for everything, Lisa!!!! -

When planning a wedding with Lisa and her team you get the full family treatment. You get to walk through her warehouse and truly design your wedding around your personality. She has SO much inventory to choose from that best suits you and your partners wedding theme. Lisa will make your vision come to life. I would highly recommend The Rosy Posy for any special event. In choosing a florist for my wedding, I was so impressed when I received the samples that Lisa created for my event. Her attention to detail and ability to create what I described was uncanny. She was able to capture my vision and dream perfectly. I received so many compliments from attendees of the wedding and reception and have been asked numerous times for the name of the business. The table center pieces were striking and amazingly beautiful.
I cannot fully capture in this review how professional and thorough Lisa and her team were. I will be eternally grateful to this amazing group for all of the efforts that went into making my ceremony and reception beautiful in every way. -

Transformed Warehouse Space into Urban Forest!
Lisa is the owner at Rosy Posy, and she and her team absolutely crushed it. Our venue came with just the floor and the walls, but when I saw it I immediately had a vision of making it into a secret garden. I knew if we added a lot of greenery and candles, it would feel like stepping out of the city into an urban forest. When talking to potential vendors, I immediately knew that Lisa understood the vision - I originally described what I was looking for as ‘the season finale in a zombie show where the couple gets married in an abandoned warehouse that’s overgrown but very romantic’, which is completely absurd, but she got it and completely delivered. She came in to view the space with me, and helped make some recommendations like including a deconstructed arch and subbing out floral centerpieces for candles, and the final effect was incredible. The space looked completely transformed, and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The bridal party florals (bouquets, boutonnieres, etc.) were all beautiful, and my bouquet was an absolute dream. I got so many compliments the day of, and am so grateful to Lisa & the whole Rosy Posy team for making my vision come to life. -

Lisa and the team produced absolutely fantastic florals that helped complete our wedding day vision! We had a mix of flowers and greenery, tall and short centerpieces, and an amazing white wisteria arch that was utilized for both the ceremony and the sweetheart table – everything turned out amazing and fit our color scheme and venue perfectly. She worked seamlessly with my wedding planner, and was quick to respond with any updates needed. I highly recommend the Rosy Posy! -

Absolutely Stunning
Words cannot even begin to express our appreciation and admiration for Lisa and her team at The Rosy Posy! Because of potential supply chain issues, we were unable to pin down, in advance, what flowers would be used at my daughter's wedding. We selected a color pallet and, with a bit of trepidation, left it all up to Lisa. It was our best decision!
Despite rain and gusting winds, she pulled off the most magnificent, show stopping display of flowers! The colors and selection of flowers was simply gorgeous, truly special. Members of the bridal party were glued to the windows watching her work her magic despite being sopping wet! The skies cleared in time for the ceremony and you would never have known the challenges they dealt with to pull it all off!

Stunning florals made the wedding!!
Rosy Posy did an incredible job with the flowers for my wedding! I had asked for pink and coral colors and they did just that so everything was bright and beautiful. We did a mix of tall and short centerpieces, we lined the entryway staircase with flowers, had bridal bouquets and boutineers, small flowers for the cocktail tables, and best of all, a huge, full flower arch for the outdoor ceremony. People gasped it was so gorgeous. We got lots of great photos under the flower arch and so did our guests. The flowers really elevated the venue and made it feel very classy and breathtaking. Rosy Posy was very easy to work with as well and made our vision even better than we imagined. We highly recommend them!! -

I hired the Rosy Posy for my May 2022 wedding and could not have been more pleased! Lisa was such a pleasure to work with, and was really willing to work with us to stay within our floral budget and deliver the soft, romantic look I was going for. She listened to exactly what I wanted and truly delivered! In addition, we were able to rent our welcome sign and table signs from the Rosy Posy, making the day of so much easier! -

WOW is all I can say. Lisa and her team were able to pull off the impossible and create two very different feels for my wedding and yet have them "marry" perfectly. A classic and dreamy garden feel inside a winery barrel room for a "cathedral" feel and then a whimsical and bright design for upstairs for cocktails and reception. My bouquet was unbelievable - I gave Lisa some ideas of what I liked and she took it from there and RAN with it. Her team worked under some tough and hot conditions - pulling the whole thing off and more. It was unreal - the words don't do it justice. Lisa is also a sweetheart to work with and went over and above what we expected - I cried when my flowers began to wilt a week and a half after since I just wish I could've saved them all forever. If florals are important to your wedding you MUST hire this team. -

I must start by saying I am supremely late in writing this review, mostly because I was having a hard time putting into words the exceptional work Lisa and her team did for our wedding. With that said, I landed on wanting to work with The Rosy Posy before I was sure where we were going to get married. They came highly recommended by one of the venues I was considering and when I looked at the portfolio, I was sure that Lisa was the one! When I submitted an initial inquiry to her, I said that I was looking to plan a black-tie, New Years Eve wedding, that was Harry Potter-inspired (at this point I had no idea if my desire to recreate ‘Hogwarts at Christmastime’ would make top vendors run away screaming or not). What I didn’t know at the time is Lisa (and her daughter) are HUGE Harry Potter fans like me & my daughter AND on top of that, she usually takes NYE off to be with her family (a well-deserved break after a long run of weddings). We bonded over our love for all things HP and talked about how I wanted to insert a lot of Easter eggs throughout the ceremony & reception, but I didn’t want anything to be extremely overt…it needed to be elevated and beautiful! She completely got the vision and presented ideas that sounded amazing but as the non-florist (me), I couldn’t fathom how she was going to pull this off. Her most magical suggestion was recreating Hogwarts’ floating candles…I was so excited by this but, again, I couldn’t even imagine how they would pull this off. A few days before the wedding, I stopped by her shop to drop off small keys for her to incorporate into everyone’s flowers and boutonnières.
Because she has such great experience and relationships, Lisa was able to convince our venue to let her in early so she & the team could begin the floating candle installation. When our wedding party arrived the begin getting ready, the team was in the process of truly transforming what is normally a beautiful space, into the most magical space I’ve ever experienced. Honestly, I had a vision in my head of what our wedding could look like and Lisa + her team blew us away! She used the house colors for inspiration for my flowers and made sure that they looked a bit ‘wild’. The boutonnière she created for my husband was insanely beautiful & special - it was the Deathly Hallows with the key incorporated into it. The entire space was filled with different kinds of candles, greenery, and other special touches. It all felt, well very Hogwarts!
I cannot speak more highly of Lisa & the team at The Rosy Posy. They worked tirelessly to bring the space to life (literally hours upon hours of install & take down on a holiday) and stayed at the wedding to ensure everything went smoothly. She was absolutely wonderful to work with but the type of vendor that you just trust. Tell her your vision and let her bring it to life. Florals are definitely going to be one of the larger parts of your wedding budget, but Lisa was able to work with us to stretch the budget and make it feel incredibly impactful. We did a few planning sessions and communicated via email a bit but honestly, it was clear she got the vision and I really felt comfortable just handing things over to her and not worrying myself too much about the florals. She’s an absolute pro and worked so well with our wedding planner, Lissa Marie Weddings + Events and the other vendors. I like to work with nice, kind, & collaborative people (both personally and professionally) and Lisa embodies all of those traits with the professional portfolio to back it up. Any couple would be lucky to have The Rosy Posy do their wedding.

We hired Lisa & her team to do our florals for our wedding and oh my goodness - the flowers were sooooo dreamy. We vetted so many florists and Rosy Posy was miles ahead of the competition!! Lisa & her team were delightful to work with and we had a great time visiting her studio as well! She didn't need any direction at all, and took my vague descriptions of our vision and transformed into a DREAM. Our guests were absolutely clamoring to take home the arrangements - they were gorgeous! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! -

Words can not describe how in awe we were by the brilliance of Lisa and her team at The Rosy Posy! From our first meeting, we knew we were in great hands. We quickly had a proposal that detailed out the layout for the flowers in every setting from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception.
She knew every detail that needed to be covered and we felt so confident leaving things in her experienced hands. But let's get to the most important thing...the flowers!! They were absolutely beyond anything we could have ever dreamed of. From the moment people stepped in to our ceremony through weeks after our wedding, our guests are still expressing how amazing the flowers were. Everyone was completely blown away! Not only was it perfect in the moment but it elevated all of our photos and we are still amazed every time we see our pics.
Lisa is also just a joy to work with! She is fun, spunky, positive, and loves love. She bends over backwards for her clients and has more than just flowers to offer. She has really anything and everything in her toolbox. She offered one of her walls for us to display our signature cocktails. In addition, as avid bikers, we were looking to incorporate a bike bar but weren't sure how to go about it. Then Lisa and her positive and innovative mind, got her extremely talented husband to build a bike bar that we used for welcome champagne as guests walked in! We give the highest possible recommendation to Lisa and The Rosy Posy! THANK YOU LISA! -

Most beautiful florals
Where do I even start! Rosy Posy's floral designs for my wedding were INCREDIBLE!!!! Lisa is so helpful and really knows how to pull a space together. She sent me a proposal early on in the planning process and I was excited to see how everything would turn out. I was FLOORED, everything was incredible the details were insane. The ceremony space was gorgeous and really brought our theme to light. I lost it when I saw the reception space, she truly brought fall and made my dreams come true. Lisa and her team are amazing! -

The Best Florist Around
The Rosy Posy was my favorite vendor for my entire wedding. From the minute I received my proposal from Lisa I knew that she got me and would execute my vision to a T! We met with Lisa 6 months out at her shop to show her all the colors and pick out exactly what we wanted which was so nice to see everything before the wedding. Lisa and her team was amazing. I could not have asked for a better florist. My flowers were AMAZING! The best part too was that she not only handled flowers but had table numbers, hedge walls, lanterns, etc to help put it all together. I cannot thank her and her team enough for everything she did for me!! -

Lisa Gloff of The Rosy Posy came highly recommended by many of our vendors, and with good reason, she was amazing and a joy to work with every step of the way! From changes in our date, to a change in venue 2 months before the wedding which resulted in changes to our budget, Lisa was gracious and flexible through it all. Small businesses have been disproportionately hurt by all the restrictions resulting from the pandemic, but the wedding industry was hit especially hard. No matter how difficult things were for her as a small business owner, she approached every bump and change in our plans with understanding and empathy. She was just so impressively human! In circumstances where she could have just referenced the contract we’d signed and been done with the conversation, she never approached us in that way. She is a true professional. When Lisa arrived at our venue and started bringing in the flowers, I was floored! I couldn’t believe how beautiful they were, and I was immediately brought to tears. Our guests are still raving about how stunning our florals were, they really left an impression on everyone! Our event space was beautiful, but it was large and pretty much a blank canvas. When we got the disappointing news that rain was inevitable and our outdoor ceremony had to be moved inside a few hours before we were walking down the aisle, Lisa and her team rallied and hustled to make a stunning floral display on the dance floor for us to get married under. She came so prepared, and even added a little here and there to make sure none of our displays looked unfinished. She thought of everything, and we are so grateful she lent us her talent on our most special day! -

Lisa and her team made all my visions come to life. Before meeting with her I felt extremely overwhelmed about how everything was going to turn out. Whether we did it ourselves or got her to do it. She took over by adding a lot of finishing touches to my DIY pieces. This allowed me to not have as many worries prior to the wedding and during set up! It was an absolute pleasure working with Lisa. She was able to accommodate us as we had to change plans a couple different times due to the military and COVID. My favorite part of the day was seeing all of my visions come to life and seeing the finished products all finally being put together. I would recommend Lisa and her team to any future brides as she did a wonderful job making my visions come to life!

I had a very specific vision in my head of how I wanted the flowers for my wedding. Lisa not only gave me that but far exceeded that vision. I literally couldn't even believe my bouquet was mine it was that beautiful. She style each and every detail perfectly. Most beautiful flowers!
Lisa was an absolute joy to work with! She made our intimate COVID wedding, the wedding of our DREAMS with her beautiful flowers! She was extremely flexible in working with our budget and venue changes. We enjoyed going to her warehouse to pick out a few additional rentals that made the evening such as a mirror with our names on it and additional candles. A lifesaver
Mother of the bride here. Rosy Posy recently handled our daughter's wedding - intimate and somewhat last minute, due to Covid. Rosy Posy was very responsive to the bride and groom's requests and creative on ways to manage the budget. But more importantly, on the day of - they showed up early with outstanding products (arch, bouquet, table runner, etc), handled Tropical Storm Laura with aplomb, and created a spectacular setting for the wedding. A great vendor who won't let you down.

I would definitely recommend Rosy Posy for your wedding flowers and decor! My main goal when it came to decorations was to eliminate stress and not have anyone from my family, bridal party, or guest list doing any work on our wedding day. Not only did Rosy Posy provide all setup and breakdown, but they also put together the most BEAUTIFUL bouquets, centerpieces, and flower displays I've ever seen! Ella and Lisa were so much fun to work with when putting together their amazing design! They suggested centerpiece ideas I hadn't even considered, including varying designs and heights throughout the reception room, and when I walked in after the ceremony I couldn't have been more pleased with how amazing it looked! And I'm still getting compliments on the gorgeous bouquets - it was perfect! The Rosy Posy was definitely on the higher end of our price range but based on my experience and the end results I would 100% say it was worth it! -

Working with The Rosy Posy was delightful! Ella was extremely flexible and helped me work through what I envisioned as I didn't really have a whole lot of detail of what I wanted going into it. We were able to rent a lot of items as well that they set up perfectly taking away the stress and extra cost. Everyone commented on how beautiful the flowers were. I think my favorite part was the garland wreath they created for our pup to wear. Highly recommend all around! -

Rosy Posy was recommended to me because I wanted beautiful florals, but was on a bit of a budget. They DELIVERED. Ella and her team were delightful to work with, even accomodated some special ribbon I had shipped to them. We opted to do their a la carte services and picked the flowers up ourselves, and never once did I feel any "less of" a customer, as some other florists I spoke with left me to feel. The bouquets were rich, full of flowers, and expertly arranged. They helped us with great ideas to repourpose our ceremony flowers for the reception, and provided us with tons of loose greenry to decorate our centerpeices. Everyone was blown away by their arrangements and were begging us to take them home. I just wish I could have kept my bouquet forever! -

I cannot say enough good things about Ella and Lisa! Number 1, they are so sweet, understanding and easy to work with! Number 2, it's jaw-dropping how they can transform a space so beautifully!! In researching my wedding venue I looked at a TON of pictures of it decorated and I may be biased, but I don't think anything measures up to how it looked on my wedding day, thanks to Ella & Lisa! They are such a great team, especially for someone like me who has very little knowledge of florals & design. On our first phone call they suggested I put together a board on Pinterest so they could get a feel for things I liked and then they created a lovely detailed floral design look book for me! Even with little direction the whole place was styled better than I could have ever envisioned!! They are also very professional - timely and patient in answering emails throughout the whole process & on our wedding day all the gorgeous bouquets were ready and waiting for us as soon as we arrived at the venue and everything cleaned up at the end of the night - I didn't have to worry about a thing! Hire The Rosy Posy for your best stress-free & most beautiful day! :)

Gorgeous!
Our wedding planner, Marshmali events, recommended The Rosy Posy to us and we are so happy to have made the connection. Lisa and her team were incredibly helpful in the planning process. My husband and I met with Lisa in advance and she helped discuss some details of our flower decorations and arrangements. She understood our vision and was able to provide valuable insight and ideas for how to pull the details together. We cannot imagine a better experience. On our wedding day, the weather caused some last minute changes, and Lisa and her team adjusted on the fly to make an absolutely beautiful scene. Our guests were equally wowed and we received many compliments about the flowers and decorations. We had a phenomenal experience with The Rosy Posey and would highly recommend them to anyone! -

We started working with Ella prior to her switch to the Rosy Posy. I had a chance to meet her now partner and the two of them are the sweetest people ever!! Ella was extremely responsive and very patient with changes that we requested . We actually wanted to do a suspended piece over our head table to block an exit sign and she met with us no problem and added it. All day of the wedding our photographer and various people were coming in telling me that the florals looked like what you would see on instagram or a shoot and they were not lying!! I couldn't believe how amazing everything turned out. When we were planning she completely understood the vibe I wanted and went for it. I can not thank these ladies enough!! Wonderful decor!
The Rosy Posy are excellent! Very flexible and so creative! Lisa was so patient with my 1000 emails changing my mind about decor, and exceeded all of our expectations! Even with the weather being rainy, she improvised and managed to make everything look amazing (see pictures!) -

When my husband and I walked into our venue, it truly felt like a dream. Lisa and Ella created my dream garden, from the hanging orbs and greenery to my gorgeous bouquet. I originally worked with Flowers by Lisa for my wedding and in between that time they transitioned into The Rosy Posy.
Of course, any bride would be a little nervous. However, The Rosy Posy team is amazing! They reassured me and honestly their new place is hugeeeee! They have so many amazing rental pieces and they are great at seeing your vision come to life. I am seriously grateful I had such a great florist for my special day. I loved every detail and they were so responsive and easy to work with. I would recommend The Rosy Posy any day! -

Ella and Lisa were amazing!!!I had booked them a month before my wedding and I am so glad that I did. They did not disappoint. My bouquet and my bridesmaid bouquets were perfect. The center pieces were gorgeous. Many people commented on how beautiful the flower were. Ella was so easy to talk to her. She listened, asked questions and gave suggestions. She will try her best to stay within your budget. I have not met Ella prior to my wedding, only when she delivered the flowers to my house. But talking to her on the phone was so easy and simple, I felt like I already met her. She truly does listen and tries to make your wedding vision come true. I would definitely use them in the future and recommend them to anyone who needs a florist. Lisa was flexible, responsive, and provided beautiful bouquets, corsages, and bouttionnieres for our wedding day. We discussed the plan with a few phone calls and emails, she provided an "inspiration board" with the types of flowers she would use, and we could not have been happier with the result. A family member did our reception floral centerpieces, and Lisa was very flexible with this while still providing the flowers for our cake. She was also reasonably priced (for a bridal bouquet, 7 bridesmaids' bouquets, 5 groomsmen bouttonnieres, 4 parents' bouttonnieres/corsages, 2 ring bearers and 4 ushers' bouttonnierres, and cake flowers), especially compared to some other florists in the area, while still providing an excellent service. We would definitely recommend her! -

Working with Lisa is simply a dream! In a short conversation and with just a few inspiration photos she was able to whip up STUNNING florals for my wedding. I had an idea in mind and Lisa RAN with it! I've gotten so many compliments on how beautiful the day was - Lisa transformed a rather empty venue into one of the most beautiful evenings I have ever had! I walked through the reception space with just the bridal party right before guests entered and I was in awe! If I could give more than five stars I absolutely would!!! -

Amanda Sent on 09/17/2018I CANNOT say enough wonderful things about Lisa. She was recommended to us by a work friend and I cannot be happy enough that we met with her. She got me! my colors were a little off... light blue and burgundy, but I wanted it to feel romantic and soft. I have no idea how she did it, but it was perfect. everything down to the last petal on the aisle.... just perfect! She worked with us and listened to everything I said and let me tell you when I walked out I was FLOORED by how pretty everything was. It was GORGEOUS. People were telling me what a great job I did and how pretty the room was, but I feel like I really owe all that to Lisa! Flowers is the 1 thing my mom and I are obsessed with and we might have gone a little overboard with some of it... i mean we were in a botanical garden... but I wouldn't have done it any other way.

Sadly some guests ran away with the vases and my bouquet got lost in the clean up and me leaving..... Guess this just means I need to order more flowers!!! -

Loreal Sent on 08/17/2018Lisa blew us away for all of our wedding florals! Lisa was gracious enough to make me a bouquet for our engagement shoot, which was epic. BUT! When i received my bouquet at the hotel and then entered our wedding venue (DAR), I couldn't believe my eyes. I had gone back and forth with Lisa approximately 2 million times on colors and design. Finally I just threw my hands in the air and trusted her judgement - which is what I should have done in the first place. We had a black tie wedding, and our venue was set up in a way that guests traveled from room to room for the next item (ceremony in one room, dinner in one room, dessert in another, dancing outside, etc). While the guests were distracted in one room, Lisa and her team of little elves worked their magic preparing the next space. Many florists duo flips of the space, but I had Lisa practically doing cartwheels around the guests and each time they entered a new space, it looked totally different! She took so many liberties to go above and beyond and just run with it, for example in our dessert room I expected nice centerpieces that would 'get the job done'. When I walked in and saw massive tall centerpieces with flowers galore, my jaw dropped, all of this for little ole me?!? My husband pushed back when he found out about the tree I requested from Lisa, and don't get him started on the columns that I wanted dripping in greens, but he is still talking about our floral design a month later! Our floral design was extravagant and it was the best money we spent at the wedding and really elevated our event! I've been recommending Lisa to all of my friends as we were one of the first to get married! -

I had a very specific flower and style I was going for and she hit the nail on the head. Her prices were extremely reasonable and I had the most amazing bouquet. I got more compliments about my flowers than anything else. I was being neurotic and asked for a consult before the wedding in person to make sure I had everything squared away. She was so sweet and made me feel so at ease. She made my wedding absolutely perfect and I could not thank her enough!

Sarah Sent on 06/29/2018My bridal bouquet was the prettiest bouquet I have EVER seen! I could not believe my eyes when it was brought into the bridal suite. My maid of honor bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets were the size of some bridal bouquets I've seen from other vendors. It was obvious that Lisa put so much thought and effort into making the bouquets beautiful and generous! She did our reception area and ceremony arch as well, and we were beyond satisfied with the results. We made some last minute changes, and she was so accommodating. Budget-friendly too!!

Lisa works out of her home and my daughter and I couldn't believe how well organized she was, and the wonderful set up she has working from her home! She has so many options available to fit any budget. She is very professional, creative and a pleasure to work with. The wedding was this past March 17, 2018 at Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg for about 165 guests. My daughter loves fresh flowers and Lisa was so helpful in choosing the right flowers available at that time of year. She did an amazing job on the wedding bouquets, prayer book, venue reception table arrangements, etc. Before you make your final choice on a wedding florist please contact Lisa, you won’t be disappointed! I emailed Lisa and she immediately set up an appointment with me, where we would go over my vision for the wedding, in-person, at the comfort of her own house. I cannot tell you how many emails and different quotes we had gone through but it was A LOT. I always felt terrible coming back to her asking for a new quote or proposal but Lisa was always so kind, patient & professional about it and never was angry or anything to draft up a new quote. She really works with you and gives you honest advice. Almost everyday, I notice that her clients are people I know and I can truly say she is one of the best florists in the Northern VA area. Lisa is responsive and really listens to her clients which was important to me because I planned my wedding in VA from CO so I had to do almost everything via e-mail and phone. She went above and beyond making time to meet my husband and me when we were in VA for a quick visit and even finding and ordering table numbers for us when I couldn't find any I liked.
