The BEST there is...

I can't say enough about David and his team at Flowers by David Anthony. They are the nicest people to work with, aren't afraid to give their honest opinion and also help steer you in the right direction as far as flower choices that are in season and more affordable as opposed to flowers that are not in season. David and his team were always very responsive, very professional, always helpful when I asked for their professional advice and made my vision truly come to life. The flower arrangements were simply stunning and when our ceremony was moved last minute indoors due to the weather, David gave us a truly romantic vibe and gorgeous arrangements for a smaller scale pergola. From the bouquets to the centerpieces to babies breath on the aisle chairs, everything was absolutely gorgeous. At the end of the night guests were just about competing for a centerpiece to take home because they were so beautiful. I highly recommend David and his team, you will not be disappointed and they truly go above and beyond to make your vision come to life!

Stunningly beautiful red roses and sparkles on New Year's Eve

David Anthony was beyond incredible. He was so attentive on the day of, everything was handled with care. The centerpiece that he made as a sample as exactly the same ones we got at the reception. He did incredible work, everyone was floored by the flowers. The centerpieces stayed on our tables at home for at least a week afterwards, I couldn't part with them. Thank you guys so much! We highly recommend.

Wedding Visionary!

For two people who don't have any clue what to do with flowers and color schemes, David made this process easy with his vibrant selection that matched the mood of the day and venue beautifully! The entire experience was seamless and we had a lovely, interactive engagement at his store and he made sure he knew what we were looking for before we left. We'd gladly recommend him again and again and often joke that it was way too easy working with David!

Flowers of my dreams!

I was recommended to use Flowers by David Anthony from our venue, Brotherhood Winery. So glad we did! David is great. So easy to work with and so knowledgeable. He created amazing floral arrangements for our wedding. We barely knew where to start with the floral arrangements and David easily guided the way. What he created exceeded our expectations by far! I was especially in love with my bridal bouquet. It was better than I even dreamed it would be. He truly captured our inspiration and then made it even better. Trust me, you will be glad you chose him for our flowers!

An expert in his craft that made our day truly seamless

I got married at Brotherhood Winery on 10.07.23 and was recommended to use Flowers by David Anthony--thank goodness! I am not a big design or flower person in general so I struggled to know what I actually wanted besides a few pictures of Pinterest inspiration. David went above and beyond and made the whole process seamless. We met at the shop in August to look at our mockup centerpieces and were absolutely blown away. He is truly an expert and artist in his craft. He even advised us down to the linen colors on the table to ensure the flowers were the most important 'pop' of color on the table. Again, something I never would have even thought about. When we finalized the seating chart (only about a week and a half before the wedding) and had 19 tables instead of 20, he happily adjusted the final count and even added 3 more corsages at the last minute bc my fiance forgot about a few people we wanted to honor (lol). David made sure to call for approval for some beautiful fall flowers that he recommended as they were not in the original mockup as well as for ribbon colors for the bouquets. I was beyond happy to just say 'let David use his expertise, I trust him' which honestly was the best decision as it took an unwanted decision off my plate and he TRULY knows best!! The flowers were delivered early to the church by his lovely wife while he set up the reception flowers at the venue, again making the experience truly seamless. I didn't once have to worry about the setup even though I would not be able to be there until the reception began. David also provided loose flowers to decorate the cake which came out absolutely stunning. My bouquet was the most beautiful floral arrangement I have ever seen and the other bouquets and boutonnières were so naturally gorgeous but also allowed mine to be the 'shop stopper.' 10/10 would recommend using Flowers by David Anthony for your wedding or next big event! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

David made our wedding more beautiful than we could have ever imagined!! Even with huge last minute changes due to ever-changing weather, David created the most amazing ceremony arrangements for our outdoor ceremony and beautiful centerpieces to bring our indoor reception to life! Throughout our wedding planning process we felt excited and at ease when working with David! He welcomed us into his shop and sat down with us to discuss exactly what we wanted; David is beyond personable and easy to work with! David's work is flawless

David is not only wonderful to work with but his florals are just gorgeous. Although there were ALOT of changes to the floral looks throughout our engagement period, David was always a pleasure and made us super comfortable that whatever the look we were going for was, it would be attained. The best florist ever!!!

David and his team at Flowers by David Anthony were incredible to work with for my October wedding. He was one of the first vendors I hired! He is professional, responsive, and incredibly nice. He took our ideas and turned them into the most beautiful floral pieces. He created a gorgeous floral arch for our ceremony, perfect centerpieces, and the most beautiful bouquets that all of my guests commented on how much they loved them! I was even able to drop off a piece of my mother's wedding dress that he incorporated into my bouquet which was so meaningful and special to me and my family! David's experience and knowledge about flowers makes him priceless. Seriously... hire him ASAP!!

Amazing Florist!

David and his team did an absolutely amazing job on the flowers and set up for my wedding. From the start. He worked with us within our budget, was very responsive, and understood my vision. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous. He went above and beyond. Would 100000% recommend David Anthony for any event and will def be using his services for any future events I have. People at my wedding wanted the centerpieces so badly, they were taking them down before the wedding was over! Gorgeous work!

Couldn’t have asked for a better florist!

David Anthony is fantastic! I had a very loose, vague vision of what I wanted for flowers and he figured out my vibe and nailed it. He and his team were so incredibly easy to work with and he did such a beautiful job both on my bridal/bridesmaids bouquets and decorating the space. Super reliable and dependable throughout the whole planning process, and when we rescheduled our wedding because of covid rescheduling him was a breeze. Highly recommend!

Gorgeous flowers and so much fun to work with!

We absolutely loved working with David and his team. From our first consultation, he was incredibly open to adding our special touches and details. He guided us through the best options for our space (Thayer Hotel) and made excellent suggestions for our arrangements that turned out to be absolutely GORGEOUS. Everyone in our bridal party was in love with their bouquets and everyone commented on how beautiful our centerpieces and chuppah were. Just perfect. David is the best.

Most memorable part of the day

Stunning Flowers

Absolutely incredible. I booked David Anthony on the spot when we first met. I loved the work he showed me and his personality. He was great in working with me when I changed my mind about the color scheme of my wedding and immediately pivoted to make it work. The day of the wedding our flowers were absolutely stunning. We hired David and his staff for my wedding at Falkirk Estate and Country Club on February 22, 2020 and we were not disappointed! Exactly what I had envisioned!

I am still blown away at how beautiful the flowers and decor were for my wedding. David is unbelievably creative and the work he does is absolutely breathtaking. I didn’t have many specifics on what I wanted and he took the information I did give him and made every aspect of the wedding so beautiful. The flowers were so unique and beautiful. Everyone still talks about our centerpieces and my bouquet. He captured all the colors of fall in my flowers! We did our day of coordination through David as well and Julia was amazing. She handled everything for me and always offered to do more. She was extremely organized and super timely with responses/answers. She made sure every vendor was on the same page. She went above and beyond for us during our reception and made sure I was okay throughout the night. I can’t recommend David and Julia enough. They really worked hard to make sure everything was perfect and it truly was!

What an incredible artist. That is truly what David Anthony is when it comes to florals and arrangements. Flowers by David Anthony handled all of my wedding florals and I was so incredibly impressed by the beautiful creations he made for my day. David Anthony and his team are absolutely incredible—they had exceeded our expectations on every level. We hired David as our florist for our wedding at the Grandview 7/21/18. We initially met him at a bridal expo and instantly connected. After viewing David Anthony’s work in person and on a variety of websites, we fell in love and knew he was the one.

We held our initial meeting at his flower shop that is beautifully inviting. You immediately get a sense of his style as soon as you walk in. David is extremely hospitable, charismatic, and dedicated to listening to your thoughts and bringing your vision to life. My husband and I are artists ourselves, so it was important that we found others that approached their work with passion and true artistry. David is a true artist with extraordinary talent. His attention to detail and intricate craftsmanship is one to be rivaled. He is truly one-of-a-kind!

Throughout the planning process, Lena was an absolute joy to work with. She was always responsive and always made herself available to you. Her consistent communication and work to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it was greatly appreciated. She really helped us navigate through the planning process and made it an exciting and pleasurable experience.

We had a shabby chic style with a color pallet of peach, sage, navy, silver, and gold. Our ceremony overhang was a visual masterpiece and guests could not stop talking about our centerpieces. The magnificent arrangements for our memory and card table were exceptional and stunning. The flowers were of such top quality that they lasted for almost an entire week after our event! I mostly prized the bouquets and boutonnieres. When they arrived, they truly took my breath away. They adorned our wedding party flawlessly and added so much beauty to our special day. We highly recommend David and his team for any and all occasions!

Our daughter's wedding was this past Friday, 7/14/17 at the Brotherhood Winery. We cannot praise "Flowers by David Anthony" enough. At our first meeting with David we knew we did not have to look further. He listened to our daughter describe what she was thinking about. He made suggestions and came up with the most beautiful bouquets in the exact soft colors she wanted. The centerpieces were extraordinary and were exactly what she hoped for. He also picked flowers and greenery within her budget. David was so pleasant to work with. Whenever we called or stopped by he and his staff were most helpful and accommodating. It was a most pleasant experience and I would highly recommend this florist in Highland Mills.

We had a great experience working with Flowers by David Anthony. The office staff was great - very helpful and responsive - and David did a beautiful job with our flowers. We weren't able to go out for a sample, so David sent photos and then sent more after we asked for a couple of tweaks. They were really true to what our centerpieces looked like on the day, and we got a ton of compliments on the flowers. Someone even said it was the most beautiful chuppah they'd seen! David and his team were also very flexible with us - we decided to provide our own candles, and we were able to arrange with them that they would place them on the tables, which saved us some money while also making sure everything fit with David's vision. Highly recommend!

David Anthony took the time to sit down with us and listen to our vision. He gave his professional advice to lead us in the right direction. On our wedding day David went above and beyond. It was pouring but the forecast called for it to break within a couple hours of the ceremony. Instead of pressuring me into making a decision of whether we wanted the ceremony inside or outside, he stayed at the venue to see if it would clear up. When the rain eventually stopped, he and his staff created a beautiful gazebo arrangement. The flowers in the reception and the ceremony were stunning! We wholeheartedly recommend David Anthony!

I am so happy we ended up going with Flowers By David Anthony for our wedding. I was about to give up in my search for the perfect florist to bring my vision to life and just settle with a huge company that was going to do some mundane arrangements for us.

I can't express how happy I am that we decided to meet with David. He is a true artist. He took the time to talk with me and get to know me a little bit and he could see what I truly wanted.

All of our flowers from the church, to the bouquets, and reception were perfect. The centerpieces were out of this world. I was a little nervous not seeing a sample of the bouquet ahead of time but I brought in a bunch of photos and he exceeded my expectations (and I'm tough to please). All of our guests told me how beautiful the flowers were. I highly recommend David!

While we were looking for a wedding florist, we found a floral artist instead. David Recine of Flowers by David Anthony, we can’t thank you enough for such a beautiful job well done. You were a pleasure to work with and you’re a true professional.  The flowers on our wedding day were exquisite; from the bouquets, to the boutonnieres, to the arrangements on the altar, to the centerpieces on the reception tables. Everything came out even better than we could’ve imagined.   David was also able to incorporate photo charms into my bouquet so that my grandparents would be close to my heart throughout the day. Definitely worth the money!! David was recommended to us and we are so glad we were able to work with him, he made us feel comfortable from the start. Meeting with him and going through what we envisioned for our wedding was easy and seamless; his recommendations from flowers to accents were spot on and the sample clean and simple. We used Flowers by David Anthony for our July 8, 2016 wedding in Mahopac, NY. My sister used Flowers by David Anthony in October 2015 for her Bear Mountain wedding and the bouquets were beautiful so it was a no-brainer! Speaking with David on the phone, we were able to get ideas together for what our needs were for the wedding. He was so nice and creative. We needed bouquets, centerpieces & boutonnieres. The bridal party was wearing all black so we were doing a rainbow of colors for the bouquets and hot pink roses for the boutonnieres. The centerpieces were rainbow with glass square vases. My bouquet was cream colored roses, hydrangea with hot pink spray roses. We also had a black runner (ours) and Flowers by David Anthony provided us with hot pink petals to line the runner. It looked amazing!

I met with David, in person, a few months before the wedding. As soon as you enter his shop, you know that you are getting something spectacular. We looked at pictures together and he even pulled out flowers from the shop fridge to show me what they looked like. He understood the flowers that I liked and the flowers that I wasn’t too keen on. Lena, his assistant, is a doll and she wrote up the contracts to perfection! Every detail accounted for from our meeting, which was very reassuring. A few weeks before the wedding, we met with David again and he made up a centerpiece for us to review. It was perfect and exactly what we wanted. We even brought in little Star Wars Lego people to add to the boutonnieres, which looked awesome on the wedding day.

The day of the wedding, the flowers arrived perfectly and on time. They were absolutely gorgeous! The colors truly popped with the black dresses. I cannot thank David enough for being part of what made our day beautiful. He is truly an artist!

I got married in June 2016 and had the absolute pleasure of working with David for my wedding. David & team did an absolutely AMAZING job - he truly has a gift of making beautiful things, and is really easy to work with. During the planning process, he took the time to sit with me and hear my ideas in terms of colors and styles, but he brought it to life much better than I could have ever imagined - he has a very strong creative vision that I think sets him apart from others in the industry. His pieces are unique, modern and just simply stunning. The flowers really brought the entire decor of my wedding together. I did an outdoor ceremony with a gazebo/chuppah and he made the most stunning floral decoration for it - I still dream about it today. Walking down the aisle and seeing that was one of the best feelings I have ever had! My guests all commented it was one of the most beautiful weddings they have been to, and this was largely because of how beautiful and elegant the flowers were. In terms of working with David, he was extremely professional, kind and warm throughout the planning process, and made sure everything was on time the day of the wedding. I thought he really went above and beyond for me - a great example being that there was a chance of rain for my wedding day, and he brought 2 separate chuppas with him to ensure that no matter what I had beautiful flowers and that in the chance it didn't rain, he was flexible to build it outside. I was lucky that the rain never arrived and was able to get married underneath a beautifully decorated gazebo! I think this says a lot about the quality and professionalism of his team. And another example of his creativity - he incorporated rosemary and other very unique flowers into my bouquet which I thought was so cool! Lena Fillannino from Flowers by David Anthony was the Day of Coordinator for our wedding on June 5th 2016. Lena was amazing. As soon as I met Lena, I knew she was going to take care of it all. Lena made sure that everyone in the processional felt comfortable, took care of details, timing, and logistics for the entirety of the day, and was assertive with getting people in the proper place at the proper time when she needed to be. We TRULY believe that we owe part of our perfect day to Lena and her thoughtfulness and attention to detail. Lena even packaged up the meal that was served at the wedding for us, since she knew that we did not get to eat anything! Thank you for helping us and making sure that our day was seamless! It was truly perfection!!

I went in to meet with David Anthony having a pretty good idea of what I wanted thanks to Pinterest. I knew the colors, types of flowers, and look I was going for. However, David and his staff exceeded every one of my expectations and transformed a few of my ideas into a gorgeous floral masterpiece. The center pieces were what I envisioned but better because David and his staff are extremely talented and their artistic gifts are incredible! They were soft, romantic, and different than the norm.
He also went out of his way to help me incorporate the paper flowers I spent hundreds of hours making for my Chuppah (wedding canopy). He provided beautiful grape vines on the front so that the paper flowers could be attached and tastefully displayed. The ceremony vases for the flowers to be hung from chairs, center pieces, petals for the aisle, and bouquets were all incredible. I found him online myself and I am so happy I did! People are still raving about the flowers! My only disappointment is that so many people snatched up my center pieces at the end of the night to take home I didn't get one.
One of the best decisions I made for my wedding. You will not be disappointed. His prices are also fair are reasonable. Great value for what they deliver. Couldn't have been happier!

David is such a talented artist! Our flowers were absolutely breath taking! When we went for our centerpiece trial I could not stop smiling! David is an absolute genius! I had a vision of my perfect day in my head, but I had a hard time verbalizing it. David understood exactly what I was going for and he executed my vision exactly! He really listened to my ideas and he even put together samples of what we talked about for me to choose from in advance. He was extremely attentive and quick to respond always. He made the wedding of my dreams come to life and he even made it less stressful for me! I did not have a wedding planner and I had forgotten about the little details I needed to plan for, including grandparent flowers, father flowers, flowers to the Blessed Mother, etc. He knew exactly what he was doing and stepped in where I needed help without being overbearing or trying to push me in any direction. He was more than just my florist, he felt more like a wedding planner. He gave me ideas and advice on how to bring my vision to life in other areas of the planning process as well, areas he did not have to even think about, such as the table settings, lighting, etc. David and his team really went above and beyond anything I could have ever imagined. My centerpieces were beyond gorgeous and I still cannot get over the hurricane candles and petals lining the aisle as I walked down it. He designed such a beautiful and romantic atmosphere for us and it really made the experience that much more personal. I will never forget my wedding day, thanks to David and his team. They are incredible and can do absolutely anything, and they are so friendly! David himself was on site the day of my wedding putting the finishing touches on my center pieces and displays. I really do not know what I would have done without him and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone getting married or having a special event in or around the Hudson Valley area.

David Anthony is a preferred vendor at my wedding venue, and he 100% deserves to be. While I love flowers and I understand the value of them at a wedding, they are certainly not my specialty. Luckily, with David, I was able to give a vague description (aided by my wedding Pinterest board) of what I was looking for and he executed beautifully. His demeanor immediately put me at ease. He told me that understand what I was trying to achieve and it's no problem. He could definitely execute my vision. Of all the vendors that I worked with, David was one of the best. Had they all been like him (confident, reassuring, easy to work with), my whole planning process would have been more breezy.

David and his staff were incredibly helpful in making our wedding day extra special! I wanted all whites and gerbera daisies roses with a pop of color. I was back and forth so many times trying to figure out what I wanted for my bouquet. David was so helpful and flexible during this process. The centerpieces were stunning, bouquets, and all other flowers were gorgeous! I would definitely recommend David and will continue to go through his shop for any decorative flowers even for my own house. His staff was incredible friendly on the day of as well!

I cannot say enough about David Anthony. David did the flowers for our wedding ceremony and reception at the Grandview and they were absolutely perfect. I had a vision for our ceremony and David took it and ran with it. When I got to see the flower archway he made for us I was blown away, it was beyond what I had imagined. Flowers by David Anthony provided gorgeous flowers for our wedding. Our centerpieces, bouquets, and boutineers were absolutely perfect. David Anthony went above and beyond for our wedding last weekend. Everything down to the bouquets was dazzling and artfully arranged. My husband and I are not flower people and since we live in Southern California, we knew we wanted to incorporate bright flowers and succulents in our wedding flowers. We realized very quickly that a) succulents are definitely not local to New York which meant b) none of the florists we talked to wanted to work with them! David, who was recommended by my photographer (Milestone Images), was the exception and we are so grateful. He came up with orchids, calla lilies, and succulents for bouquets and boutonnieres with purple and green flowers for the centerpieces, and everything was absolutely beautiful and fit our style. Delivery ended up being early too since there was another wedding at the venue using him as a florist!
Also, I am across the country from them and three time zones behind. Sometimes they called at weird times, but overall, they were amazing about communicating from a distance and making sure we were up to date on everything.

We booked with David Anthony after our florist had to cancel not too far from our wedding date so I was a bit nervous. He was very calm and professional and worked with our budget to create the centerpieces and feel we were looking for. Our first meeting was great and he really got our vibe. I had purchased candelabras I wanted to use for some of the tables and he was very flexible and open to using our materials. We also supplied our own Huppah fabric and poles, as well as some extra fabric to decorate our ceremony space, and they did such an amazing job of putting it all together. Everything looked really amazing and I felt he went above and beyond! One of our best vendors that we booked for our special day, thank you!

We had a great experience working with David Anthony. Right from the first meeting it was clear he understood our vision and helped create it beautifully on the day of our wedding. Flowers by David Anthony does amazing work! When we met with David on a busy Saturday as we live out of state, he took his time going over every detail of centerpiece, bouquet, boutonniere, and corsage ideas. We loved that he was friendly and enthusiastic about everything throughout our meeting. After going through various different options for the specific flowers and colors to use I was nervous to see the estimate at the end...the pictures he showed us and what I was picturing in my head based on what we discussed seemed too good to be true...but we were so pleasantly surprised to see that we could get what we were looking for within our budget. Flowers by David Anthony kept me updated on any possible changes that might be necessary based on flower availability and when one type of flower was going to be the wrong color, David made a suggestion to change the flower to keep a color that would work well and it turned out perfectly. The bouquets still looked amazing of course, and it was still the overall look I had imagined. Everything was delivered and set up on time and looked stunning (including the church which might have been a bit of a scramble - when we arrived for our ceremony there was still a previous wedding clearing out which I didn't even know about, but our arrangements on the pews looked perfect when we got inside, so thank you David and sorry if it threw you off schedule :-))

My mother and I had originally planned to do all of the flowers for my wedding until a family friend suggested that we check out Flowers By David Anthony. From the moment we met with David, it was clear that he understood our vision and knew exactly what I wanted. He offered great suggestion for colors and flower selection. David and his team were so easy to work with and always answered any questions that I called or emailed about in a timely manner. David even stayed later than usual on the night of our mock up for the reception tables since we lived about an hour away from the shop. On the day of the wedding, the delivery person was professional, responsive and extremely kind. I was blown away by the flowers when they arrived...I even started to cry! My bouquet was stunning and more than I had expected; totally left me speechless. The flowers for my bridal party were just as beautiful and the boutineers for the guys were perfect. The tables for the reception looked beautiful; we received so many compliments on the flowers! In addition, the flowers for the wedding cake were exactly how I had described and imagined. Flowers by David Anthony went above and beyond any of my expectations. I would highly recommend their services for any occasion.

The flowers at our wedding were simply BEAUTIFUL! Everything from the centerpieces, to my bouquet, to the petals for the flower girls exceeded my expectations. Working with David and his staff was a pleasure and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

We held our wedding a few weeks ago at the Bronx Zoo. The Bronx Zoo as a venue is already beautiful but David made it beyond beautiful. The chuppah was exactly what I envisioned and I loved the flower petals he put on the floor. I even have a picture of where I am looking up at the chuppah admiring the beauty of his work! His creativity and suggestions were amazing and at the same time he really listened to what we wanted. I walked around in awe before the wedding admiring all of his work - the reception area flowers were just gorgeous as were the cocktail area. Not to mention that David as a person is amazing - I want to be friends with him forever! He is so sweet and loving - just a great guy all around. To top it all off, his prices are reasonable - people thought we spent wayyy more on our flowers than we did. Just an amazing vendor all around.

David Anthony is by far the most creative genius when it comes to flowers. His professionalism & experience is just as amazing. We had the whole wedding planned out in less than an hour & his response time on emails is great. Everything from the flower bouquets, table-scapes, tent & church decor was memorable, beautiful & well worth the price. I knew I wouldn't be disappointed!!

Excellent experience with David - loved his vision for the floral design, he gave me great recommendations for how to keep the cost down while keeping a very elegant, designed look and feel, was very professional and great value.

We cannot speak highly enough about Flowers by David Anthony. David is the sweetest guy and was wonderful to us from the moment we contacted him. He was recommended by a friend of the family and we booked him over the phone and sent a deposit without meeting with him (which, as two control freak brides, made us a little bit nervous!).

We knew what our budget was and what we needed (centerpieces, boutonnieres, bridal bouquets and bridesmaids bouquets) as well as our overall color scheme, but didn't have a ton of ideas other than that. When we finally met with David in person a few months before the wedding he was great and so helpful. He explained why certain flowers that we liked weren't in our budget but instead of trying to upsell us to spend money we didn't have (which a lot of vendors do) he told us what would work within our budget and the results were fantastic. The bouquets were absolutely lovely and the centerpieces were beautiful, simple, and understated (which is exactly what we wanted, as we had our wedding at an ornate venue which didn't need a ton of extra decoration). David even thought to make sure we had boutonnieres for our fathers (which we hadn't thought about) and delivered two throwaway bouquets "just in case". He had worked at our venue before many times, which was also an asset. I will also say that we are from NYC and have been to a lot of weddings with flowers not as well done as ours for 3x the price, which made us even happier we went with Flowers by David Anthony. They are honest, reasonable, incredibly professional and do a wonderful job. If you are looking for a florist in the Hudson Valley, GO WITH DAVID!

I can't say enough amazing things about David Anthony and his work for our 10/26/13 wedding! After having met with multiple florists for our wedding (exhausting) we knew our search had concluded when we met David. The store is beautiful and we were warmly welcomed. David listened intently to our ideas and visions and what impressed us both, was that after we told him our thoughts, he gave us advice from his personal wide array of experiences with true honesty. Some of our ideas were a little bit confused, sounded better in the mind, etc. And David was very honest in telling us his thoughts. He is very creative and has so much knowledge not only about flowers (of course) but also what colored flowers would compliment the colors of the wedding as well as the style! I had a very "matchy matchy" ideas and David helped to show me how it would be much better to use other complimenting colors and make the dresses POP! He was so right. The other florists we met with listened but none gave us their opinion or honesty or input like David did. He wasn't only listening... He cared enough to contribute to make our day spectacular! The other incredible thing they do is make you a sample of your table arrangement that can be picked up or brought to your venue for your tasting appointment so that you can actually see your ideas and collaborations put to life. Another thing I will say is that they are very flexible and professional at all times. The ceremony location we chose had two different options for setting up as far as a backdrop goes. The one we had planned on and David and his team began working on, ended up changing to the alternative view due to the wind patterns, and within the moments notice his team quickly changed it with no problem. I also was able to see David setting up the tables in the ballroom when I arrived for pictures and he was so kind and wonderful to see. Thank you so much!! I highly recommend!!!!

First and foremost, I think we knew David was our florist before we even spoke about flowers.
Having the experience -or rather lack thereof in terms of flowers. Picking a wedding florist was the one wildcard, I had little to no idea what to expect - cost, the sheer volume of flowers , different placements (aisle, tables, pedals on the ground, etc.), vision (mine versus theirs), color. This is a little overwhelming....

I'm glad my first experience picking a florist wasn't at David Anthony's.
It became readily apparent that after a few moments of sitting down with David - he was going to be our florist. He got us, and not only that - he was always present and fantastic to work with. The ease with which the entire process - vision - colors - what was in season - his vision and ability to translate ours - was seamless. The day of the wedding was amazing, the flowers were impeccable and more than what I had imagined.

The experience alone is worth your time. If anything like ours you may find yourself writing one of these someday.

I called David Anthony after being recommeded by a friend. I live out of state, so everything was done on the phone. I saw his website, and the flowers looked pretty, so I booked him. When I finally came to NY, I set up an appointment with David so I can meet him and get an idea of what I wanted. During our phone conversations I gave him ideas of what I was thinking of , and a definite color ( orange ) but I was also on a budget and didnt want to get too excited about anything exotic looking. David suggesed roses... which i thought was ok. Well, when I walked into his cute little shop in this cute little town, I saw a gorgeous high centerpiece. I immediately thought, that couldn't possibly be mine, that looks very expensive!
Needless to say, it was mine. David managed to capture exactly what I wanted, exceeding my expectations tremendously! And stayed in the budget!
The day of my wedding, David himself came to my venue to personally assemble each and every centerpiece ( there were 15 tables ) which was very impressive, as I would have expected him to have an assistant to do that or at the very least help him out.
Everyone at my wedding came up to me and said how gorgeous my centerpieces were. I was incredibly happy with the turn out.

We really enjoyed working with David Anthony. He was helpful as we had a large party and everyone was in a different color so he worked with us to find the right flowers for each color. Our centerpieces were candles and floating candles and flowers in vases which were gorgeous. He was always available to talk to if we needed him. He personally set up our reception room which turned out beautifully. We would totally recommend him!

I did a lot of research and interviewed several florist before we picked David. The reason I picked him was because he seemed creative and very professional. I told him what I was looking for in the overall theme and he went with it, and came up with some really unique ideas, which was what I wanted. He also offered to do a sample centerpiece for me to view (free) and that was great. It made me a lot more comfortable knowing I would be able to approve the final product before the big day. When I finally did see all the flowers on my wedding day, there were EXACTLY what I had wanted and even better than I could have imagined. They looked to RICH and special and I was duly impressed. I would highly recommend David and his team. They are responsive, very helpful, they showed up on time, and they did a great job. They decorated my chuppah with flowers, and it was beautiful. I loved everything they provided, and I thought it was a very fair price.

Beautiful and Vibrant
Flowers by David Anthony made our wedding perfect to detail. From the first moment walking into Flowers by David Anthony and meeting him he created a sense of excitement even more than we started with. David and his staff listened to all our ideas and gave us ending results that blew us away. David Anthony even gave us an idea about doing a “flash mob”. (which was AWESOME by the way!) I confess, there is no place better than David Anthony's!

A little more expensive than the local florist but well worth it. David and his team did all the flowers for my wedding, flower balls, candelabras and trees for my centerpieces as well as bouquets and ceremony flowers. David has a real passion for flowers and he brings this out in his designs as he sits with you and makes your ideas and budget work together while throwing in ideas of his own. He is very easily contacted through email, phone or by calling into the shop, I found this to be a rarity with many other vendors especially as the owner. He is very enthusiastic and was always open to last minute ideas, changes or budget alterations. My guests were very impressed with all of the decorations especially the centerpieces they still are complementing me and talking about how beautiful and elegant it all was. To top it all off David put together an amazing bouquet for me, half made of brooches, half of white roses with pearls and diamonds that I automatically fell in love with.

I would tell all future brides that are thinking of using Flowers by David Anthony to do so, the love and attention that goes into these flowers is second to none and well worth every penny.

Flowers by David Anthony thank you for all your hard work and making my day extra special.

Our flowers were perfect. David and his team created amazing center pieces, gorgeous bouquets, our church arrangements were stunning, I really can't say enough. It was everything I imagined and more. David did an amazing job explaining different flowers, the seasons, colors, ect. He was very thorough and left me feeling completely confident for the wedding day. Our flowers that David and his team provided for our wedding on 5/17/13 were gorgeous!!! David was so great to work with. He sat down with us and listened to our ideas and thoughts and made our vision come true! The centerpieces were STUNNING and everyone loved them! We used high ones and low ones and each one of them were just perfect. The way they set the tables up with the flowers, candles and linen was exactly what we had wanted. The bouquets were so beautiful and the girls loved them. They did an absolutely amazing job and I am so happy that we worked with them! It was worth every penny we spent and I would highly recommend them for any wedding. They are so professional and so nice! Flowers by David Anthony are the best!!

We used Flowers by David Anthony for our wedding and I am so pleased with our decision. From the moment we met with David I felt he knew exactly what we were looking for. David and the staff were great to work with throughout the planning process. On our wedding day, the flowers were perfect. The colors were vibrant, the bouquets were just as we had discussed and the centerpieces were beautiful. We had many guests compliment us on the centerpieces. I really cannot say enough about David Anthony and how much I enjoyed working with him. He was amazing!! I did not know exactly what I wanted for the centerpieces, but I told him I like the "fall" look. He did an amazing job on the centerpieces, the bouquet, even my throw away bouquet was beautiful! He even did the flowers for the cake- which we decided on the week before the wedding. I was beyond impressed with him, as was everyone. I would recommend him to everyone!

David was an absolute pleasure to work with. The center pieces we chose for our wedding were so beautiful and were set up perfectly. They made each table and the entire room that much more elegant. He really took the time with us during the consultation to find out what we like, the colors we wanted for our wedding, the color(s) of the bridesmaids' dresses, the bride's dress, the flowergirl dresses, etc. All the flowers and arrangements we chose arrived bright and fresh. David Anthony provided stunning bouquets and floral centerpieces for our wedding. In all honesty, flowers weren't a big concern of mine. I told David that I wanted something with a little bit of a whimsical feel, and something that seemed wild. That was it. And when I saw a sample centerpiece that he created for us, I actually cried because it was so completely perfect.

David really listened to what my overall vision for my wedding was and created gorgeous and truly unique arrangements that matched that vision beautifully.

Choosing David Anthony as my florist was the best decision! His quality of work and service shows his expertise and knowledge of his industry. The flowers provided for our wedding came out beyond beautiful and were exactly what we wanted (exact replica of the picutres we brought in). Flowers by David Anthony was wonderful to work with. They were very responsive and attentive to our needs. One thing that stood out was that David helped create a special centerpiece for our Unity Candle, I felt that it was very unique. All of our flowers were beautiful and our guests raved about them. At the end of the night all our guests made sure that there was not a centerpiece left behind. If you are getting married in the Hudson Valley, David Anthony Flowers is a must.

All the arrangements, down to the fresh petals for the flower girl baskets were so fresh, and amazingly beautiful. David's work is extremely unique, and really stands out. I would highly recommend Flowers by David Anthony for any bride, or even just an everyday bouquet!

I had a very specific look that I wanted out of my bouquets and David Anthony delivered! I had one meeting with him and that was all we needed for my flowers to come out perfect. The flowers arrived exactly on time, securely packed in a box and they were gorgeous. Not one wilted petal, fresh vibrant colors. In my research they came out slightly more expensive, but not by too much. The service and quality was exceptional.
