We worked with Floret and Vine for our wedding in June 2025, and they were truly a dream to work with! From the very beginning, communication was seamless—they took the time to understand our vision and made the process feel easy and enjoyable. During our initial consultation, I shared just a few Pinterest images (I knew I wanted white flowers and lots of greenery, but not much beyond that), and they transformed those ideas into stunning, unique arrangements—and managed to stay under budget!
The bouquets, centerpieces, and ceremony décor perfectly captured the romantic, garden-style wedding we had envisioned. On the day of the wedding, their team arrived on time, was incredibly professional, and handled setup flawlessly—even with a slight rain delay. The flowers were fresh, lush, and exactly what we had discussed.
We’re so grateful to have had Floret and Vine as part of our vendor team and would wholeheartedly recommend them to any couple looking for a florist who is reliable, creative, and genuinely passionate about their work. -

We had such a wonderful experience using Floret + Vine for our wedding! From the very start, Kate was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. She worked closely with us to create floral designs that matched our vision, while also staying within our budget. I really appreciated how collaborative the process was — I sent her inspiration photos, and she responded with detailed breakdowns of each arrangement, including flower types and pricing. It made it so easy to make adjustments and feel confident in our choices. On our final planning call, Kate was so reassuring and accommodating with a few last-minute changes. She truly made me feel like flowers were one thing I absolutely would not have to stress about on the big day. Erin took the lead on the wedding day and was amazing. She arrived right on time for delivery and setup, and everything looked absolutely beautiful. The flowers were elegant and thoughtfully arranged and we couldn't have been more impressed. floret + vine was an absolutely outstanding florist and one of our favorite vendors to work with for our wedding. Not only were they professional, creative, and supportive, but they also took the time to help us determine the vision we had for our florals and brought that vision to life. We had an outdoor, tented wedding and found our floral decor to truly be what brought everything together and made our wedding spectacular. Flawless & Impeccably Detailed!
We hired Floret and Vine for an outdoor Maryland wedding. The couple's priority was florals so we really wanted them to be a showstopper. Well Floret and Vine didn't just deliver. They exceeded expectations! Their level of detail and care for their craft is something that, in the almost 20 years in this industry, I have not seen. They had to work outside in grueling July heat and they did it with professionalism and grace. They also still maintained their level of detail regardless of the elements. Kate and her team are exceptional and hiring them will be one of your best wedding decisions!

Kate at Floret + Vine is just a gem of a human being. This matters when you plan a wedding, because you spend so much time with your florist and ultimately they have a huge part in executing your vision. When I first met Kate, I was immediately drawn to her. She is a true artist. She is the definition of "going above and beyond". She took such care to fully understand my vision and bring it to life. She was also probably the most responsive vendor we worked with!
We got married/had our reception in the National Cathedral, which is a huge (and somewhat intimidating!) space to decorate, so floral and design was very important. Kate and her team completely and totally blew us away. No detail was overlooked, every single flower was perfect. She brought elegant and creative ideas for how we could maximize our "wow" factor - and we were truly wowed.
I cannot recommend Kate and her team highly enough! -

Kate is an absolute gem of a human and a true artist. She was so much fun for us to work with for our wedding, and was just as excited about our bouquets, boutonnieres, and arrangements as we were. Even though we only talked with her a handful of times, when she arrived to set up on our wedding day she treated us like friends. She was so excited that she was able to get elusive and out of season flowers that matched our color palate, which really showed us that she was just as invested in making our day special as we were (direct quote from mid-November: “We got burgundy Peonies!”). Her arrangements were incredibly elegant and sophisticated. Centerpieces were thoughtfully assembled and had abundant character that truly embodied and elevated our vision for our wedding. The arrangements were lush, romantic, and lasted throughout our entire weekend. We’re grateful for Kate and her team, and couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful floral designer. -

We loved getting to work with Kate and her team at floret + vine. We ended up having to reschedule our wedding twice due to COVID, and Kate was always so responsive and flexible throughout the entire process. She is so great at working within your budget and never once tried to push us out of it. She is so talented and as someone who was neutral on wedding florals, she made me so excited to see the finished product. And she and her team really delivered day of. My bridal bouquet was so beautiful and exactly what I had asked for, and the rest of the bridesmaids' bouquets, as well as all of our other florals, were just perfect. Kate even went above and beyond when I came to her panicking about a month before our wedding, asking if she had any recommendations for local wedding planners and desserts teams, because our two original vendors had to back out due to family emergencies. And Kate gave me several recommendations right away, and we ended up hiring two from her list. I'm so thankful to Kate and her staff for making our wedding day picture perfect. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for an incredible florist, dedicated to her craft who truly cares about each and every one of her couples. -

Kate and her team at Floret + Vine are amazing! If you are looking for romantic, delicate, beautiful florals for your wedding or event in the DMV I would 100% recommend them. Kate listens to your vision and creates a wonderful proposal (with pictures) to show what she can do for your big day so you can help picture it. She is so detailed and organized! When I first met Kate at her studio for our consultation, I knew right away I wanted her to be a part of my wedding day! She is personable, down to earth and makes you feel so comfortable. The best!
Okay, play along: You are getting married in less than one week. All your hard work, the painfully detailed planning has finally taken life. Everything is paid in full. It is time to relish is the joy. You and your person are about to celebrate the union of marriage. Sounds great right!!
Well yep, that was us! Literally days before our wedding just when we thought we could sit back and relax… came COIVD-19. March 16th 2020 we have to put all of our wedding plans on hold. Some vendors had to cancel and or postpone, some vendors were gracious enough to walk through our uncertainties with kindness and grace. Some vendors were our saving grace!
The reason I preface with our short story of a Covid-19 wedding is to highlight just how remarkable the people hired to support our big day are. It is times of crisis that you see the true content of character.
When looking for a florist I chose Floret + Vine. The style was gorgeous and Kate was delightful. I respected her creativity and knew she could make my vision come to life. I must say what I found most impressive is her un-waivered support and kindness during the pandemic. The Covid-19 lockdown began less than a week my wedding was scheduled (March 2020). The venue canceled and we postponed to a later date.
Among many “oh no” moments that came with being a Covid Bride; I thought oh no… we already ordered flowers and all the money I invested into our big day was going to wilt away. I was devastated and certainly emotionally distraught. I prepared myself for the possibility of a complete loss. I nervously called Kate. With the consideration that she placed the order with my payment already so she would be cutting a loss herself, if she compromised graciously for a partial refund or something?! I really did not know what to expect on this call. It may be dramatic to say that she in that moment restored my faith in humanity; but she did. Kate calmly stated these are unprecedented times and we all need to act in kindness and help where we can. She relayed that my flowers were delivered yesterday and that they were beautiful. She told me not to worry or stress, and that we could reorder my flowers when I am able to reschedule my wedding, with no additional cost. And that the flowers that were delivered could be donated and brighten someone else’s day. It was in that moment I say just how amazing and selfless she was. What a kind thing to do… when I think of Kate and what she did for me, it was more than uplifting and I will always be grateful.
Floret + Vine, look at her work, it speaks for itself. You won’t need to look any further. Gorgeous flowers done by a very kind and creative soul. I’ll be going back to Floret + Vine for any future floral needs.

I highly recommend finding someone who helps guide you and can sense your vibe from simple descriptions. Kate from Floret + Vine (http://floretandvine.com) has done florals for many of my wedding couples. I heard she could read their minds. Their reviews were spot on. Kate is a professional visionary and from the few descriptions we gave her, she nailed what we were looking for. In fact she guided us to also have other design elements that we couldn’t have envisioned on our own. She asked many questions which narrowed down what other decor to have, what areas to decorate, including copper compotes, lanterns, and florals on Ceremony Installation.
As we answered, she jotted down all our words, and notes, in such an organized fashion. She certainly esp’s her couples and helps translate your vision into a design. By the end of our meeting, she had a complete vision, a name for the theme, and we couldn’t have felt more understood and excited to see what her team creates
Be unique. Be Yourself. Some people have their venues decked out with flowers upon flowers, others have mostly greenery, some have simple decor instead. The best part of designing with Kate was that she helped guide us to be true to what we wanted.
Flowers are expensive. There’s no sugar coating it. Imagine growing your own plant in the backyard, it takes love, time, water, sun, and did I mention more time. This part of your wedding investment is so important to find someone truly gifted with making your vision a reality. Find a pro like Kate who also uses your flower budget in the best possible way. You can also integrate other decor elements to enhance your design if you don’t envision elaborate bouquets on each table. This was an amazing idea for us!
Using locally sourced floral’s that will be fresh on your wedding day. Often we see flowers on pinterest but don’t think about what season or part of the country they’re coming from. This will impact their freshness. I always think local is best! Choosing florals that are local and growing in your area, is another beautiful way to represent your unique wedding. -

Beautiful floral for our industrial modern December wedding
We were referred to Kate from floret + vine for our December 2019 wedding by our planners, The Otherside Creatives. I knew Kate was the perfect florist for me when she reassured me in our first phone interview that her job was to make everything pretty. I described my floral preferences and budget and Kate worked with me to design a floral plan that was beautiful and budget-friendly without looking sparse or like we skimped. Kate’s floral arrangements are all stunning, artfully crafted, and seasonal. Kate was able to translate my descriptors into reality - even though I didn’t always know how to describe what I wanted, she just GOT IT. Kate was also super responsive and reassuring when questions arose, and effortlessly came up with a reasonable solution that made everyone happy. I loved my bouquet, and it smelled even better than it looked! From the beginning, I had tremendous confidence in Kate and her work was perfectly executed. I am so happy we chose to support a small, local, woman-owned business and we are lucky that this talented florist was able to share her work with us!

Kate is amazing!
When I was first looking for a wedding florist, I was very overwhelmed until I came across Kate from Floret + Vine. First, I checked out Floret + Vine on Instagram to see Kate's work. It was absolutely beautiful.
I reached out to her via e-mail, and she was very quick to respond to set up a phone meeting, so I could walk her through my floral vision. Over the phone, Kate was so sweet and accommodating to our budget. I let her know how much I was willing to spend, and she helped me work to create my vision according to my budget.
Afterwards, I sent her my inspiration photos for the florals, and she promptly responded to me with a draft of my order including itemized prices.
A few days before the wedding, Kate checked in with me again to see how I was doing and to let me know that she was excited!
The actual day of the wedding, I did not have to worry about anything. Everything was set up beautifully, and her floral pieces were EXACTLY what I wanted.
I would recommend Kate to any of my friends and family members. She was just so amazing, kind, response, and professional. -

The team at Floret + Vine are absolutely amazing. From the moment I met Kate at a bridal show in Annapolis, I knew we were going to work well together. I had a unique vision for my centerpieces that involved cookie jars. She completely saw my vision and brought it to life! Other florists I talked to totally shot my idea down. Kate was open to try new designs and had many great ideas. Not only did she surpass my expectations on the centerpieces, but she really brought so many details of my wedding together. From eucalyptus leaves on my place settings, to the little votive candles, to my GORGEOUS bouquet.. everything turned out beautiful. My bridesmaids and flower girl had gorgeous arrangements as well. Kate was so fun to work with and very responsive throughout the whole wedding planning process. My only regret I have with my bouquet is not getting it professionally preserved afterwards..the peonies were stunning! I would highly recommend Kate and the Floret + Vine team to anyone getting married! -

Floret + Vine was the first vendor I booked. Kate is such a down to earth wonderful woman. She did not change anything I wanted, she kept to the flower scheme I wanted for the wedding. She was excited about creating the arrangements as well, which made me feel that much more excited to see them. She created a trial run bouquet for cost, but it was totally worth seeing what my flowers will look like. Being out of state made it difficult to plan, but once I spoke with Kate I felt completely comfortable, and trusted her judgement. Once we met those feelings were solidified even more so. The delivery of bridal party bouquets was timely and they came in vases to keep fresh until we needed to take them. Walking into the reception hall and seeing the two different center pieces made me so happy. Kate was very conscious of cost and made wonderful suggestions to help keep the costs down, which I was so very appreciative of. We went with half the tables with the floral arrangement in compote vases and the other half of the tables with a three tiered lantern display with tea lights and flowers/greenery laid down around them. I was so pleased!!! She promptly came at the end of the evenings clean up and picked up any items that were rented, so that we did not have to worry about dropping them off the next morning. So very happy with everything Kate and the Floret + Vine team did for our wedding day! Thank you!!! -

Highly recommend this vendor. Kate immediately understood the look/vibe we were going for, and boy did she deliver. The bouquets and boutonnieres were classy and simple greens and whites, and the tropical leaf centerpieces and accent pieces tied together the turn-of-the-century vibe in the USNA Officer's Club. Great value, great service, great products!
