cannot say enough good things about working with Lori for our wedding florals. The arrangements she created for our reception at the Detroit Athletic Club were absolutely STUNNING—I was genuinely brought to tears when I saw the room. The 36-person head table was beautifully adorned with elegant bud vases and candles, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere.
Lori was incredibly kind, easy to work with, and full of thoughtful ideas—like incorporating olive green candles for a subtle pop of color that tied everything together perfectly. She took my inspiration photos and somehow made the actual designs even better than I imagined. Best of all, she worked within my budget to deliver florals I truly loved, even though I had a large number of centerpieces.
She went above and beyond, even allowing me to bring vases home to use for a party the next day. And the florals we took home lasted well over a week, which was such a lovely bonus.

Lori was such a pleasure to work with! She is so knowledgeable and great at what she does. When I met with her initially, I did not have much of a vision when it came to decor and floral arrangements but she helped to build the most perfect floral arrangements for our venue! Wonderful from Day One
Floral Designs by Lori made our wedding day as gorgeous as anyone could wish, but that is only a fraction of her value. She was flexible, accommodating, knowledgeable and up-front about every question we had. She let me make changes a week and a half before the wedding without batting an eye. Her flowers made our pictures so special. The saddest moment of the night was when I had to throw the bouquet she made for me; I wanted to keep it forever. One thousand percent recommend.

The most amazing part of her service was at the end of the night her staff saw the bridal party bouquets were left behind and took them back to their cooler overnight. The next morning when we realized they had been forgotten she told us they still had them and we could pick them up that day. It was a huge life saver so we could preserve some of the flowers!
We had originally planned on a May wedding with peonies but ended up having to move to August and Lori was super helpful in finding in season roses with a very similar look. I had colors in mind as the most important part of the flowers and she came up with beautiful and different types of flowers to fit those colors. She was easy to talk with and helped us work through deciding on the colors of the flowers for groomsmen and mothers. She also helped us to work on bringing the price down while keeping the impact huge by suggesting variations in sizes of the arrangements, including smaller cozy arrangements with candles.
She also had a great example of tall branches in planters to frame the alter without ti being a full arch. Since we were in front of a fountain we didn’t want an arch to block it. The branches with the flowers framed it perfectly.
We also got greenery on the chandeliers and it was a beautiful fairytale touch.

Lori has been incredibly nice and helpful even when we weren't sure what we wanted, and doubly so throughout a pandemic! She was on a list of vendors recommended by our venue, and she absolutely knows her stuff. Her flowers were unbelievably gorgeous and well worth the money spent.

We worked with Lori and Shannon throughout our wedding process and they were fantastic. From the beginning, Lori was very easy to talk to and made choosing flowers and details easy. You could tell she loves what she does and was there to help. With COVID happening and things changing, they were very easy to reach and talk to. Our wedding flowers looked beautiful. The girls bouquets were all wonderful and the centerpieces were perfect. We got many compliments on how big and fresh the flowers were. They set up all the details and the room looked perfect. I told them exactly what I wanted and they did that and more! Overall, I HIGHLY recommend them for your wedding or any floral event!

Lori was fantastic! She did as much of the designing and decision making as I needed being a bride that doesn't prefer to spend all her time micro-managing details. I gave her my ideas when we met and she made everything exactly how I imagined and was incredibly responsive. She connected me with Luxe rentals and coordinated all the other table details needed. Jaw dropping arrangements
Lori and her team provided floral services for our wedding day. They provided bouquets (8), corsages (5), boutonnières (16), Center pieces (42 total - 5 different arrangements), head table decor, welcome table decor, and an arch way for our ceremony. We were not able to get into our venue until 10:30 the day of the wedding and the ceremony was at 4pm. Lori and her team came in and set everything up in a timely manner and were there promptly at the end of the night to clean up. The arrangements themselves were amazing. Lori really took the image I had in my head and made it a dream come true. She was easy to work with, communicated well and took the time to sit down and discuss our wants multiple times before the wedding day. When I saw my bouquet it took my breath away and I started crying immediately. If you’re looking for memorable statement pieces at your wedding, Lori and her team are your best option!

Lori was absolutely wonderful to work with from start to finish! From just a few pictures that I shared with her, she knew exactly the look I was going for with our reception centerpieces and bouquets. Her floral designs are so elegant, they made our space look beautiful! She was incredibly flexible as I came up with changes just a couple weeks prior to our wedding. She also made up a beautiful centerpiece for us to review about a month prior to the wedding so we would have a chance to make any changes. My long stem white rose bouquet was exactly as I had envisioned! I received so many compliments! Lori did the most amazing job on flowers for my daughters shower. She said that she would put "a few flowers" in the greenery at the main table and there were over 3 dozen roses. Every arrangement was more spectacular than the other. I feel that I got twice what I paid for and Lori was on top of everything at every turn. Lori was absolutely fantastic! She was the florist for my wedding on May 12th, 2018 and absolutely blew me away. I had considered doing my own bouquets & arrangements, but I am so glad I didn't! Lori was a pleasure to work with from the moment I met her. I brought pictures of what I wanted and she made it a reality. She did a mock up for me and the flower arrangements matched the pictures perfectly. I told Lori what my budget was and she was able to work with it. . The bouquets she hand delivered to the church and made sure she was at the hall to set up with her team. Everything turned out above my wildest dreams. I am very very happy that Lori had my wedding date available. She is a wonderful person. I would definitely hire her again and again.

After one meeting with Lori, I had no concerns that everything she touched would be absolutely stunning! Not only was Lori able to get a quick handle on what my personal style (better then I knew myself), she was able to help me envision the entire room and had so many great suggestions on things to make our fusion wedding warm, rich and elegant. I will be completely honest that I had no idea where to start in choosing flowers or even the colors. Sure I had pinned a few things, but I didn't really know what would work well for our setting. Lori made the process seamless. She made our ceremony and reception so much more magical then I could have ever imagined on my own! I am incredibly grateful to Lori for all her help, attention to detail and passion. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an incredible florist to work with Lori! Lori was absolutely fantastic! She really helped me out with planning because I had no idea what I wanted! She is creative, makes sure to stay within your budget, and is extremely friendly and helpful. She was very responsive throughout the planning process, and so patient when I changed my mind about a few things. The flowers at our wedding were beyond stunning. Everyone was talking about how gorgeous my bouquet was, the bridesmaid bouquets, and all the centerpieces. She and her team even took the time to place extra flowers here and there around our venue (like by our seating chart) which we didn't even ask her to do, but they looked perfect. I would absolutely recommend Lori to everyone I know- she is a fantastic florist, and an extremely kind person. :) Thank you Lori!

Thank you for the most colorful and beautiful flowers for my daughter's wedding this summer! Because I have severe asthma and allergies to some types of real flowers, I didn't think that I would ever be able to have real flowers at the wedding. I am a florist's worst nightmare to have to work with because of my issues. Thanks to Lori, we worked hard to be creative and come up with solutions to help. One of my favorite table arrangements was 4 piece glass vases with real orchids submerged in water over clear stones and topped with a silver floating candle! Because the flowers were under water, you couldn't smell the fragrance and most guests thought it was an awesome look that combined flowers and candles for the evening. My daughter also wanted "HOT PINK" and shades of pink in the floral bouquets. We received so many compliments on her large cascading bridal bouquet which added awesome color to the pictures as well! The large tall flower centerpieces with hanging beads and silver twigs popping out were fresh and accented the whole hall. Lori is also good at coordinating the colors of flowers with the color of the bridesmaids dresses. I gave her a swatch of material so she could really match it well. She suggested exactly the right color linens that would make the flowers pop out! We used a wide variety of different size candles on the head tables where I sat to give a beautiful glow at night without flowers at my table. Lori went above and beyond what any other florist would do to make our wedding vision a reality! I was truly able to enjoy the day and my guests just raved at how awesome the reception hall was decorated especially knowing that I had to be very picky because of my allergies. The workers helped me take down the flowers near the end of the night and pass them out to the guests so that they could enjoy them at home! Highly recommended!

Lori and her team are the real deal! We met with Lori early on because we had family and friends who had their wedding flowers done by her. From the start, she was full of ideas and creativity while balancing our vision and style. She is extremely knowledgeable and is very easy to work with. She helped us through many iterations of our flower plan and was willing to be flexible with us and work within our budget the whole time. We had a trial run with her a couple of months beforehand to confirm and she was willing to make changes and adjustments even at that point. The flowers were STUNNING and beautifully complimented the fall color scheme we had in mind! Everyone was blown away by how beautiful our reception setup was and the ambience her team created for us. Lori and her crew are magical and there is really no other adjective to describe the work that her and the whole team do.
We literally gave her next to nothing to work with other than some chicken-scratch and she turned our venue into a floral masterpiece.
We will never forget the bouquets, from their elegant shape to their bustful colors, they were perfect.
And then there were the table center pieces which were absolutely perfect! We still have guests months later asking us who was the florist at our wedding because the arrangements were that beautiful.
But what is most important is Lori's class and her professionalism. She made it EASY from top to bottom.
If you're looking for an affordable, quality florist for your special day, than there is no one in Metro Detroit that i'd recommend more than Lori.
She is without a doubt a blessing in disguise and you will not regret the decision you made to choose her as your florist!

The floral designs Lori put together for our wedding were breathtaking! I came in with very little knowledge about flowers, but I gave Lori my colors and an idea of how I thought I’d want it to look and she went above and beyond my expectations! Lori was even able to incorporate a part of my mother’s dress into my bouquet, which I absolutely loved! Lori is an AMAZING florist. Her flowers are truly beautiful. She did the flowers for my wedding on September 19th, 2015 and my sister's wedding in 2013. Our guests still talk about the center pieces to this day! She is very reasonably priced and won't let you down. She is also dependable and easy to get a hold of. I would highly recommend her for any of your special events, she really knows how to WOW a crowd!

Lori did an amazing job with the flowers for our wedding. I brought her three pictures of bouquets I liked and she somehow managed to merge them together and they came out beautiful. They exceeded my expectations. She was always available for questions and was a pleasure to work with. I would strongly recommend Lori!

I absolutely loved working with Lori. She was so responsive -- I would be up late at night on pinterset sending her ideas I liked and she totally got my vision. Even down to the last minute she adjusted based on my last minute needs. Everyone at my wedding talked about the floral and decor and how fabolous, romantic and delicate it was. I'm actually getting Thank you's from my guests and they mention the beautfiul flowers and decor.

Lori is amazing! The flowers were absolutely beautiful and our guests just raved about how gorgeous everything was. The curly willow arch for our ceremony was so pretty and provided the perfect backdrop. The bouquets and centerpieces were so full and fresh! Everything looked exactly as I had hoped!
Lori is very professional and such a pleasure to work with. She listened to what I wanted and provided suggestions and was never pushy. She's very willing to work with your budget. I highly recommend her!

I searched and priced put quite a few florists for my wedding before finding Lori. She not only puts together beautiful arrangements she was very willing to work with my budget. My flowers turned out exactly as I had planned ans everyone is still talking about how beautiful my boutique and the center pieces were. I would use her again for any other events I have :)

Lori did an AMAZING job with the flowers for my wedding. I met with her more than a year in advance to come up with a quote. I showed her pictures and really felt like she knew what I wanted. She was also very affordable and such a sweet woman. We met several times throughout the planning process so she could ensure that she knew exactly what I wanted and to make sure the bridesmaid dresses looked good with our color choices. The day of I was SO SO SO IMPRESSED with all of my flowers. My bouquet and the bridesmaid bouquets were absolutely perfect. The church decorations were GORGEOUS. And the reception venue couldn't have been more beautiful. She really nailed it with design, color, flower choice and arrangement. I would recommend her a thousand times over and you will not be disappointed AT ALL if you go with her!!!

If I could rate Floral Designs by Lori a 10/5, it would still be too low! After intially signing on with another florist and being very disappointed with their lack of communication (which was especially tough because we live out of state), our weddin planner connect us with Lori. I cannot even begin to explain how lucky we were to have her work with us for the most important day in our lives this far! Obviously from pictures you can see how talented of a florist she is, but Lori is even a better person. Throughout our communication, we developed a special friendship I will not soon forget. Anyone needing floral services for every special event of their lives deserve to have the top notch service Lori provides!!! Although my wedding day is over, I'll have pictures to remember the beauty of her work, and a friendship with Lori forever :)

Lori went above and beyond what we had expected from our florist. In addition to gorgeous floral design, she was able to provide us with everything decor related from the linens and chiavari chair to paper lanterns, all within budget and with flexibility.

We were so thrilled with all of our flowers and event decor. Lori has so many unique and creative ideas and she was great about incorporating some of our own ideas into her plan. She was respectful of our budget and helped us find ways to cut costs. All of our flowers were absolutely breathtaking, all of our guests commented at how beautiful everything turned out. We were completely satisfied with Lori's floral services for our wedding. She was very down to earth and wonderfully easy to work with, from our initial meeting to the ceremony itself. Having just a basic idea of what we sort of wanted, she offered suggestions and worked with us to complete the look. The bridal bouquet, the bridesmaids bouquets and the boutonnieres were gorgeous, but what really completed the look was the reception centerpieces. They were breathtaking on the tables. The combination of flowers and colors were perfect. We found Floral Designs by Lori through the Wedding Wire, and are so glad we accessed her website and decided to email her. She created the perfect look for our wedding. Thank you Lori.

Lori was a pleasure to work with! I was not very familiar with flowers or exactly what they were called- but i gave a good overview of what I wanted, and colors--- and everything turned out AMAZING! Lori showed me pictures and was very patient with helping me describe when I liked and didn't like.
Lori really took my vision of what I wanted and turned it up a notch! I could not have asked for better centerpieces, or bouquets! I was in awe when I saw them :)

My daughter's wedding flowers were stunning! Lori had also done an amazing job with the her shower flowers, but the wedding venue left me speechless. The entire country club looked absolutely fabulous! We are still getting complements from guests. The colors that my daughter had chose together with Lori's floral knowledge and unlimited design ability created a seamless flow of color from the front doors to the outside patio. The bridal party's bouquets, as well as my daughter's bouquet were just gorgeous! Lori had exceeded all of our expectations! She was very easy to work with and addressed all our concerns. She made the floral planning simple and stress free. Her suggestions helped make my daughter's dream become a reality! I would highly recommend her for any occasion.

Lori provided all of the flowers and center pieces for my wedding. Before the wedding, Lori was very good about meeting with me, answering all of my questions, and providing ideas for the wedding. She was always reachable either by e-mail or phone. On the day of the wedding, all of the flowers and center pieces were in place and on time. They were gorgeous! So many people complimented me on the work she did. Lori even tried her best to give me deals on what should could to help me stay within my budget. I was very pleased with all that Lori and her staff did for me.
