If you want a dance party, look no further!
The music was perfect, the audio was clear, the mixes were dialed, and Briars vibes and smiles were so very appreciated in helping make our wedding day truly perfect! We are so grateful that Briar was there to add so much to our special day, from the ceremony, to cocktail hour, dinner and dancing, the room was full of groovy tunes that truly almost broke the barn floors. If you want an epic dance party look no further. Flip Flop Sounds is the best!

Book Flip Flop for Your Wedding!
We loved working with Josi/Flip Flop Sounds for our wedding! From our first call, it was clear that Josi was on the same page as us and her vibe was so fun. We nerded out on music and left our planning call feeling like she'd get the general picture of what we wanted... but when I tell you that she threw it DOWN on our wedding day... guys you have to book with Josi! She befriended our parents, was goofy and fun, had the best music picks for each moment, and truly cared. So many people have said that the highlight of our wedding was the dance floor and that they wished they could have kept dancing for several more hours because the music was so good. I wish we could party with Josi every weekend! Book Flip Flop for your next event or wedding, you won't regret it!

Josi absolutely killed it!! LOVED!!
We had Josi as our DJ and I cannot recommend her enough! She knew how to keep the party going and keep people dancing! She had amazing personality and presence and it was everything and more that I wanted for our DJ! She was super flexible on timing of important songs! All of our guests did not want to go home and stop dancing and all people were raving about the next day was how amazing she was. Overall 10/10 recommend!!

If you want an unbelievable and memorable wedding packed with all kinds of fun choose Flip Flop Sound!! They aren’t just a DJ service but an AMAZING partner of fun!! Flip flop Sound was not only willing to be our vendor month of wedding but provided the best all around service. Specifically Josi (our DJ), was phenomenal! She worked with us leading up to the wedding and supported us thru the last minute vendor change. She really got to know us and personalized every aspect of our wedding, from pre-wedding music thru wedding send off. She emphasized special moments and enhanced a personal first dance. Somehow in very little time, she got to know our guests and truly set up an atmosphere of nothing but fun for all! Everyone loved Josi and I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Your DJ really sets the mood from beginning to end and Josi killed it!! Hands down a million star rating!!!

Super Fun Silent Disco Wedding
Briar absolutely CRUSHED it as our wedding DJ. We had silent disco headphones due to noise restrictions at our venue, and it was way more fun than we even imagined. Briar had two stations, a live one and a prerecorded one, that guests could flip back and forth on their headphones. Both had absolutely killer music and kept everyone dancing all night.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and speeches that also required sound went perfectly as well. Briar was so fun to work with and really made the event something to remember. Thank you Briar and Flip Flop!

The BEST music and BEST time!
Josi from Flip Flop Sounds KILLED it at our wedding! My husband and I are country fans hailing from the SF Bay Area, so needless to say, our music choices are eclectic. Josi took the time to chat with us a number of times before our wedding to ensure she really understood what songs and experience we were going for, and she completely NAILED it! (So much so that our friends are even considering flying her out to do their wedding in northern Washington!). Josi’s professionalism with a side of straight-shooter, fun flair made the music planning process enjoyable and her spirit was so appreciated. I definitely recommend them if you’re getting married in the Bend, OR area (and specifically recommend asking for Josi!)

Dance floor was packed all night!
We had DJ Mike for our wedding when we hired Flip Flop Sounds and it was fantastic! You recieve access to a client portal where you can curate your event playlist with any song you want, including songs you DO NOT want to hear, which was important for us! We did have a majority younger crowd at our wedding and wanted it to be a party. That it was! Everyone was dancing all night long. So many of our guests have told me since our wedding day that it was the most fun wedding they've ever been to, because of the dancing and music! Mike was professional and accomodating to our requests. The music was such a huge part of our day and we're really glad we went with Flip Flop Sounds! Not only was the dance floor poppin, but Mike did a great job with our entire ceremony - working closely with us to accomodate our requests! If you can dream it, Flip Flop Sounds can deliver it!

Flip Flop/DJ Danny are amazing!
My husband and I hired Flip Flop for our 6/4/22 wedding at Tetherow, and we had Danny Cecchini as our DJ. Our wedding was a blast! We ran out of room on the dance floor as everyone was having so much fun partying it up. We met with DJ Danny to discuss song preferences and the vibe we were going for, and he was super professional and helped us bring the party on our special day. We highly recommend Flip Flop!

So much fun!!
We had such a blast at our reception thanks to DJ Kurlz. She worked with us on the vibe we wanted for reception, and she delivered. Everyone was on the dance floor. We were running a little behind our original timeline, and she adapted without missing a beat. Even though we had different ceremony musicians, Flip Flop took care of ceremony microphones for my husband and our officiant. We also had a fun dance floor logo through Flip Flop. Highly recommend Flip Flop Sounds + DJ Kurlz!

What a party!
Danny and Josi were an absolute dream to work with! All of the planning and lead up to our wedding was seamless, easy, fully customizable, and flexible. The day of, Danny showed up ready to put on a incredible party and he did just that! The setup looked great, his MC skills were on point and he put on just an amazing party that we'll never forget. He knows how to read a room, has an amazing ability to play just the right song at the right moment and how to get people dancing and having fun. He even jumped in and did the Macarena with us! Fantastic experience with Flip Flop sounds and “DJ Danny!”
My wife and I worked with Flip Flop Sounds for our Wedding in September. “DJ Danny Cecchini” and he was fantastic! Danny met with us a few weeks before our Wedding to go over our playlist and how we wanted the flow of our events to go. He was incredibly friendly, easygoing and really helped us cater our special day to our unique preferences. He also helped us out with mic equipment during our rehearsal dinner the night before and was available for anything we needed to help our big day go smoothly. Great Wedding DJ
We are so glad we went with a professional DJ for our wedding! We worked with Leah, who was awesome and well known in the Central Oregon wedding vendor circuit. We met with Leah before the wedding and were given access to an online portal where we could list the music we wanted (or didn't), which made it easy to to make custom playlist and add requests from our guests. We could also add a link to our wedding website where guests could login and add their own requests as well. Flip Flop provided the mics and speakers for our ceremony in addition to playing at the reception. Overall, we were very happy with Flip Flop and would recommend them.

Courtney was great and easy to work with. We had slight ideas on what kind of music we wanted. We talked with Courtney the week before the wedding and he said he could work with what we had. He showed up to the venue on time and set up efficiently. Music was great for ceremony, dinner, and reception. He kept the dancing crowd engaged and everyone dancing had a great time which was great because to be honest we didn't give him too much to go on with the playlist we provided him, but he took care of it for us and everyone had a great time!

Courtney Latham was great to work with! He is a no-stress kind of guy. We were figuring out music up until 11:00pm the night before the wedding, and he was able to get all of the music we needed (some that weren't on his list) with no problem. We also had a weather mishap and he took care of everything to make sure that we could seamlessly move the party inside with no disruption to the music/partying. Highly recommend!

Eric from Flip Flop Sounds did a great job DJing our wedding. He was very helpful with keeping the reception flowing along, and when it came time for the dance party he had everyone up on their feet. We appreciated that we got to talk through the details of our wedding with him ahead of time, and he was able to answer all of our questions. Flip Flop came highly recommended and we signed up for DJ, and Photo Booth. we wanted the BEST DJ and they sent Leah, the BEST . We were so pleased with the total pre meeting and involvement for the on lline song picks etc. The Photo Booth was such a hit and created lasting memories and of course Photos.
We wanted a NON STOP dance Floor FULL of Dancing and we got it all. Leah and the Gentleman that ran the Photo Booth are outstanding.

I couldn't have asked for a better DJ and emcee than Leah! She was so organized and helpful before the big day and on our wedding day she rocked it. From my first time we met Courtney at Five Pine Lodge while he was setting up for another wedding. The personable, sense of humor and friendly since day one. We just knew Flip Flops Sounds was the one for us and booked them out a year in advance!

Leah was wonderful, amazing, kind! She was a blast to work with throughout the process!
We ended up closing down the night 30 minutes before end time due to people heading home towards the end of the night due to the CRAZY WHITE OUT conditions.

Eric was great to work with! Flip flop sound has a great easy to navigate webpage that allows you to select as much of your wedding music as you want. I however am a terrible bride and did not fill much of this out! oops! I was given our dj's contact info shortly after booking, as I was out of town I had every intention to call, however i didn't! He called a week before to see if we had any questions, then called the night before to point out i had in no way filled in any of my song selections for any important dance, etc. I text him my songs and a quick idea of the type of music we wanted for cocktail hour/reception. He absolutely nailed it with how little I gave him. He kept the dance floor full through the night. couldn't have asked for a better dj!

We had an amazing experience working with Flip Flop Sounds for our wedding. Their entire team is so knowledgeable and very easy to work with. We also loved their online tools that allowed us to add in all of our wedding details in one place including 'play' and 'do not play' songs, names of everyone in our bridal party, first dance songs, etc. For our wedding we specifically worked with Justin B. and he was amazing! He really took the time to get to know us and our tastes, and helped make sure everything went smoothly. We had numerous guests come up to us during and after the wedding letting us know how much they loved the DJ! Would highly recommend Flip Flop Sounds!

Reese did a phenomenal job with our wedding. He gave us great pointers on our ceremony flow and music selections. He also kept the dance floor hopping all night. When we tried to end the wedding early, Reese brought the dance floor back to live with an encore! We loved that Reese was so familiar with our venue and he also provided everything we needed for an outdoor ceremony.

You should definitely book Flip Flop Sounds! Justin was our DJ and he had just the right combination of energetic but not performance-y. He did everything from ceremony sound through the cocktail hour, and then into dancing. He played all the songs from our eclectic Must Play list, and he even made a new Latin-inspired mix for our cocktail hour. They were very professional about the whole thing and I loved working with them. I highly recommend these guys!!

Book them! Our venue recommended Flip Flop, and they did so for a good reason! Leah was awesome. She worked with me on every aspect of the event, listened to all my concerns/questions for the event, and when the day came around, she killed it. We loved our DJ! Our goal for the wedding was to have the dance floor full the entire night...and....we did! It was a huge dance party and even though you think everyone will automatically dance because you surround yourself with cool people, they made the people that I never thought would dance...Dance! We had SO MUCH FUN and they were so easy to work with and just great down to earth people that leave you wanting to hang out with them more!
Highly recommend them! We actually got married in Portland, OR and not Bend but they still come over the mountain for PDX weddings!

We had folks on the dance floor all night!! Courtney was easy to work with and captured our favorite songs and kept the party the going! We had some music cues for our ceremony and he was flawless with it. The whole night was a great fun party thanks to Courtney!

Courtney Latham with Flip Flop Sounds did a fantastic job as DJ for our wedding! He was very professional both before and during the event and helped greatly with planning the timeline of the reception. Prior to my wedding, I had no idea how important it is to have a great DJ! The reception went by flawlessly thanks to Courtney and everyone danced well into the night. My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing during the reception as he had everything perfectly coordinated. Flip Flops Sounds has an extensive music library on their website and it was easy to choose the songs ahead of time. The songs he played at the wedding were fun to dance to and helped set the "party" mood.

Our experience with Flip Flop Sounds was amazing from start to finish. They were very helpful and responsive to all of our inquiries and our DJ, Justin, was extraordinary. Courtney did an amazing job at our wedding. He was fun and professional and very easy to work with. He had every song we wanted or he was able to get it. He was so pleasant and nice at our first meeting that we instantly trusted him and we didn't have to worry about anything. He ran the show perfectly and it left us to be carefree the entire night. Courtney from Flip Flop Sounds was the DJ for our wedding on 6/15/13 and he did an amazing job! We live in Portland and were having trouble finding a DJ we liked locally and then a friend recommended us to Courtney. He was just what we were looking for! Even though Flip Flop Sounds is based out of Bend, Courtney made it a point to give us the same service and attention as any other local vendor, meeting with us in person and over the phone several times before the big day.
On the actual day of the wedding, I barely noticed he was there setting up as we were taking pictures and preparing for guests to arrive. He was absolutely self sufficient which is exactly what I wanted. Then, during the ceremony itself, he had each song exactly on cue at the perfect level of volume. The same holds true for the reception. He did an amazing job. Courtney has such a great personality and sense of humor and that was definitely apparent throughout the night. He kept the party going at a perfect pace and played a great mix of fun, upbeat songs. He also checked in with me and my husband throughout the night, which we really appreciated. We having nothing but glowing recommendations for Courtney and Flip Flop Sounds.

I have to say, I was the worst bride when it came to keeping in contact with my DJ before the wedding. I was so focused on everything else and I tried to delegate the music to my hubby-to-be and we all know how that goes lol. Courtney was wonderful anyways. We kind of told him everything we wanted at him last minute and he made it look like it had been planned for months. He had my entire family and friends on that dance floor at one point in the night and the dance floor was only packed. He did start by playing disco which we don't really like but the second my new hubby told him he switched it up and it was awesome. I wish there had been a few more slow songs so I could dance with my new husband but the dancing was so much fun and so packed, Im sure he didn't want to mess with that groove. If I had to choose a DJ again, it would definitely be Courtney from Flip Flop Sounds!!! He was awesome!!!

Perfect dj experience!
We had a destination wedding, so being able to communicate with our DJ was super important to us. Leah provided amazing quality, we had a thorough conversation regarding wants/don'ts, and she did an amazing job! I LOVE the portal on their site where you can put exactly what songs to play, at what time, and a do not play list. This made it so much easier, especially if you're a very organized bride and know exactly what you want! HIGHLY recommend!

We selected Flip Flop after reading the rave reviews and they were spot on. Flip Flop provides sound, lighting and experienced DJs. Courtney was a pleasure to work with and honored all our very specific music requests. They also have a photo booth and an awesome selection of templates.
Very easy going and responsive, Flip Flop accommodated our many requests and kept the music lively and current. Courtney was thorough and made sure anyone giving a speech or acknowledged was done so in a timely manner.

Courtney was great!!!! He was such a friendly and nice guy. Just met him that day, and felt like we knew him forever. He had a very easy song request site for us, and allowed us to ban songs and request ones. It was also easy to set up the intro song, the father/mother dances, and for guests to hear what they wanted. He also did karaoke for us for an hour, which was great. Highly recommended.

Originally DJ Courtney was our event DJ (although we didn't have a preference) and it was changed within a few months of our wedding for no specific reason. In general, Leah was not very responsive to myself or our wedding coordinator regarding our questions about wedding reception DJ equipment setup.
Luckily DJ Keawe from Portland was assigned to our event and he was absolutely awesome! We met prior to wedding so he could get a feel for our culture, style, and taste in music and then we had a brief phone chat about our music selections that we input into a DJ event website. Everyone told us how great the music was and so many guests stayed on the dance floor all night long! Thanks DJ Keawe for helping to make our wedding unforgettable!

Flip flop was a great company to work with. We had some hiccups in the beginning with pricing and scheduling but got it all figured out. We ended up going with DJ Matt Rock and he was incredible!! Really present, funny, engaging and awesome taste in music! Equipment was top of the line as well!

Although I got a really good deal compared to other DJs in the area, the service just wasn't what I was expecting. I had made a list from their user friendly website and added about 6+ hours of songs that I wanted him to choose from. I only had him for 4 hours so when he told me he wouldn't be able to play all of them, I assumed it was because I had more music than time available. Out of the 100 songs I had chose to play during the dancing, he played maybe 7 of them and the other 20 songs played were songs of his choosing. When my husband and I were asked by him at the reception if we were going to do a last dance we said no; 5min later he asked us to come up and for everyone to watch as we did our last dance...

I'll start this out with the positive things. When we finally connected with Flip Flop sounds just one or two weeks before the wedding day, they really got what style of music we enjoy and what we wanted. The day of the wedding they killed it and put on a great show.
Now the reasons for such a poor review.... The communication was very poor and added much stress to me planning the wedding. It took on average 4 times of me emailing just to get a response, but still no phone call to get the planning started (which was what I kept on requesting in ALL of the emails). This went on for months leading up to the wedding.
All of my friends and vendors that knew of Flip Flop Sounds said they have horrible communication, but the day of the wedding I will be impressed. My husband and I almost backed out a few times leading up to the wedding to pick another DJ, but we were assured that the day of we would be happy.
They were right, we were happy with the results, but planning a wedding is a HUGE deal and with the stress or doubt that someone is not going to come through is unnecessary.
My recommendation would be for this DJ to get an assistant or secretary to respond to clients.
