Timely & Attentive
Tami was great to work with! We recently did an intimate wedding together and the flowers were perfect for the celebration. We look forward to working together in the future! -

Tawny Sent on 12/14/2017I really wasn't sure what to expect when I was searching for florists online, but on my wedding day the flowers from Fleur were EXACTLY what I wanted. It was nice to see that Tami made my vision a reality! I appreciate that she asked me a lot of questions about what I wanted and was friendly and easy to work with.

Jesse Sent on 09/25/2015I can't even begin to explain how perfect Tami is. I had an "idea" of a budget in mind, and reached out to multiple florists in the Paso Robles area for our destination wedding. I had no idea how much flowers cost, but I had an idea of what I wanted to spend. Everyone was astronomical. And then one day I found Tami, and my first thought was, "this is too good to be true".
It's true!
I'm so glad I found her. She had the exact package I wanted. She was incredibly easy to work with. I'm not the kind of bride who knows all the types of flowers by heart. I knew peonies, and I sent her pictures. She helped me find good alternatives since they're such a seasonal flower. She helped me build an amazing package.
I was a little nervous not having any idea what my bouquet was going to look like (I blame my A-type personality), and Tami showed up the morning of while we were getting dressed and wow... she nailed it. The bouquet was absolutely stunning and complimented my blush dress to the T.
She knows what she's doing. She is incredibly sweet and goes above and beyond for her clients. We live in the San Fran Bay so we never met with her (heck, we never even had a phone call!). We did everything via email.
Now if I can just get her found on Google Search & Maps so other brides from out of the area can find her, my mission will be complete.
We're very happy and blessed to have had her for our wedding day. I highly recommend her as do several of my wedding vendors who have worked with her in the past.Fleur ~ very pretty flowers's reply:

My exact dream that I had envisioned in my head for flowers came out at my wedding with only 1 meeting with her!! She nailed it! Crystal Sent on 03/07/2008The florist I worked with was Kristen Baxstresser and she was brilliant when it came to flowers. She was funny, out-going and so knowledgeable about what flowers that were in-season and their price range. We started by going through a flower book, where she would write down the flowers that struck my fancy. The main flowers that I wanted were carnations (my family flower) and she incorporated them into all my flower arrangements and even my cake. All the flowers were gorgeous, BIG and stunning! -

Tami is good at putting together your vision for flowers. My biggest frustration was that she is not easy to work with for anyone that doesn’t live in the area. My husband and I were planning our wedding from the other side of the country, and Tami didn’t make this easy. She does not like to use technology beyond email which is challenging. For both the deposit and final payment, I sent checks via certified mail to ensure these large checks got to her. I also notified her each time I was sending them so she knew when they were scheduled to arrive. Both times she was not home when they were delivered and then made a big deal about getting them. She even asked me to overnight a second check for the final payment because she hadn’t been home to receive the first one. She also expected us to sign several contract versions and we couldn’t just scan and email them. She required that we mail hard copies but in return she just sent me copies via email. I can see how she would be great to work with if you live in the Paso Robles area, but for anyone planning their event from a distance I would recommend looking for someone who is more willing to utilize technology.Fleur ~ very pretty flowers's reply:
Kathryn, Thanks for your heartfelt review. I hope at least your flowers exceeded your expectations. I understand your frustration, esp in the midst of planning a wedding. I no longer use credit cards as the fees are so excessive and I hate passing on those fees to my clients. I try to be competitive with my pricing and I don't have a minimum order, just trying to keep it as stress free and real as possible. I hunted down your checks at the post office and even chased down the mailman. No receipt was left at my house for signing for these mailed checks, frustrating for me too as I would have signed for them. Frustratingly beyond my control. I didn't know when the checks would arrive and as a busy business owner I am not home all day every day. Legally I have to have what's called a "wet signature" (ink) on the contract, which is why on the final contract needed to be mailed. I don't expect it, but my ratings really do mean a lot to me and if you would reconsider your rating also based upon my design interpretation, value, and quality I would so appreciate it.
