Amazing, professional
I can’t say enough good things about this company. So many moving parts and planning shuttle service for three hotels. I had changes weekly and even changes day of and had absolutely no problems making adjustments as needed. Ashley was amazing. She was there and answered my emails promptly changing schedules as needed. All drivers were also very professional and courteous. I highly recommend working with Fleet for your wedding transportation. Their pricing was the most competitive compared to other vendors in the area, without compromising on quality. Desirae and the team are very organized and have a great process for connecting you with the driver(s) in advance. Our driver, Wes, was incredibly kind and flexible on the day of. The vehicle was also immaculate.

Perfect transportation for larger wedding

The best wedding shuttle
We are so happy we chose to work with Fleet Transportation to provide a shuttle for our guests for our wedding. They were extremely responsive and flexible with all of our questions, suggestions, and needs. They provided all the right updates and got everyone to the venue on time! -

Great service!
We used Fleet Transportation for transportation for the day of our wedding! We were so happy with them, they go us and all of our guests where they needed to be on time. We had a 38 passenger minibus that was so nice and clean! -

Brought friendliness, professionalism and relief to Vermont wedding
Fleet transportation was supportive and proactive in helping us plan our wedding transportation plans and helped us make changes when we need it. They even helped us save some money based on their experience! On the day of they were flexible, timely and friendly despite some surprises. It was a relief to have a way to make sure no one was driving unsafely after our event and I would recommend them fully. -

Great experience
I dealt a lot with Ashley. She was awesome. She came out to see our property (since it was a private residence) to determine the size and amount of buses we would need. She was always available to answer questions. I didn't have much interaction with drivers but I know they were in communication with the coordinator to ensure all the guests (rough numbers) were on the buses before departing. Best Transportation Option in this Area!
We booked Fleet Transportation to transport guests back and forth between the church and our wedding reception venue for our wedding in Essex, Vermont. Planning our destination wedding we had a difficult time finding reasonably priced transportation in this area since there are so few transportation companies. Some companies were offering school buses for thousands of dollars! We lucked out when we came across Fleet Transportation. The staff and drivers were timely, communicated well, and the bus provided to us was modern, clean, and top notch. We would highly recommend this company!Fleet Transportation's reply:

Highly recommend Fleet Transportation! Prior to the wedding, our POC Sherman was extremely responsive and helpful in creating our itinerary. We had multiple buses leaving from multiple hotels to our wedding venue, so it was complex to create the itinerary, but Fleet/Sherman helped and made it so easy on me. For the actual wedding day - we got so many compliments on how nice (and fun!) the buses were. Everything went smoothly and perfectly and I would highly recommend Fleet for extremely nice/new buses, reliable communication and transportation, and a value for your money compared to many other companies we looked into. Great and reliable transportation!
My husband and I had a 38 passenger bus for our destination wedding to get our guests from the hotel to the venue/reception and back. The bus was a very nice and the driver had a great attitude! She was so fun and made our ride back to the hotel after our wedding celebration so much fun and a great wedding memory! Would recommend anyone that wants their guest to get safe and on time to the wedding and back to hotel. It was so nice to have this peace of mind, definitely worth every penny! -

From Limo’s to Horse and Carriage - Fleet Has It Covered
One of the best decisions my wife made in the vendor-hiring department for our recent wedding was engaging Fleet Transportation. They took every precaution to ensure that no unforeseen circumstances would result in delays. So, when I messed up on communicating the time my beautiful bride was to be picked up, it was a non-issue. I called Fleet as soon as I new, and the driver was in the vicinity an hour early - making up for my mistake!
We were a little behind schedule when it came to finding and hiring someone to provide transportation, and we were blessed when our coordinator recommended Fleet. They provided rides for the brides, a bus to transfer from the hotel to the venue and back - and a beautiful horse carriage for the ceremony. All of the drivers were friendly and professional, and the company was great to work with when nailing down the details.
I highly recommend Fleet and the service manager, Ashley, who provided most excellent service! -

Made our wedding day
This company is AMAZING!! From beginning to the very end I was made to feel like a valued customer. Their customer service is an A++!! You'd be cheating yourself out of a wonderful experience if you don't book this company for any event. Our guests loved the shuttle bus to take them from our ceremony to the reception. Additionally the limo for my husband and I was great and the private sedan to take us back to our hotel at the end of night was a class act. This company should be your first and only choice. Extremely Easy and Professional to Work with
My entire experience from first contact with Ashley through final reconciliation was First Class. They are flexible - as the wedding guest RSVP the needs obviously will change based on first assumptions - but with Fleet - No Worries - very accommodating. Evening of wedding - the tracking of the buses was very helpful for our wedding coordinator to know when to expect the arriving guests. Fleet transportation was fantastic to work with for our wedding! We used a 24-person shuttle to take our wedding party from the hotel to a picture location then to a second location for family pictures before bringing everyone to the venue. The wedding party pictures were taken in Georgetown and the driver handled the narrow roads and traffic like a pro! Everyone was very responsive, professional, and a pleasure to work with. They called us the day before to verify schedules and provide the driver information, which was greatly appreciated. Their prices were very reasonable as well! Natneal, our driver, was professional, competent, and the service was well worth the reasonable cost. He patiently waited for the wedding party to complete photos with the photographer while allowing parents and grandparents to remain seated in the van with A/C. After delivering us to the wedding location, he returned to pick up wedding guests from the hotel and delivered them on time to venue. Everyone was well served. Not only was Fleet very competitively priced, they were quick to respond too all of our communications and provided itinerary details in the contract for each of the vehicles we hired. Fleet was ridiculously easy to work with. They helped us decide on the length of the contract for our wedding shuttles and the size (passenger capacity) of the shuttles. I must have contacted more than 10 vendors looking for reasonably priced transportation for my wedding day. More than half of our guests were out-of-towners, so we wanted to provide transportation from the hotel to the church to the wedding venue and back. Fleet Transportation helped us figure out what vehicles we needed and suggested ways to save costs. Working with Fleet was an easy and all around great experience! We hired three shuttles, one all day to get bridal party and family members to and from our hotel and wedding venue, and two more to get guests back and forth from the hotel and venue. Joe worked closely with us to create a shuttle schedule that worked for our wedding, and helped us with his expert advice on timing and the size of our guest list. The buses were on time, clean, and efficient, and the drivers were all super friendly. Our guests arrived on time with no hassle to them. I'd highly recommend Fleet for wedding transportation in the Virginia area! -

From our first contact, Fleet Transportation was extremely easy to work with: they got back to us immediately, provided suggestions on what service would best fit our needs, answered all of our (and our parents') questions, and were overall a complete pleasure to work with. I can't say enough good things about Fleet. The woman we worked with to coordinate everything was incredible with all of our questions & changing of timing/plans. She made us feel so at ease and assured us that everything would go as planned. The day of drivers (one 32 passenger bus and 1 luxury sedan) were also amazing. I was so appreciative of the bus driver we were with that day. He was so nice and kind and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. He even came into the church to help me pick all the leaves out of my dress (we did a first look outside in the fall lol) and got my train so nice and laid out to walk down the aisle. Joe and the entire Fleet team were fantastic. We needed transportation for both the rehearsal, which my father in law was paying for, and for the ceremony/reception. Both of those events required multiple buses, which Joe was able to provide no problem. He made great recommendations and even gave us a great deal on Saturday for 2 buses (24 and 36) instead of the 55. This was perfect for us as it allowed us to save money and just have the buses make another pass at the hotel. He was always responsive and professional. They called the day before to confirm and sent updated statuses to our emails when the buses were en route to pick up, when they arrived, and where exactly they were located. Transportation can be really expensive, especially if you want nice buses, but Fleet provided the best prices for clean, smoke free, and well-running buses. Fleet transportation did my transportation for the wedding day. I found that many transportation companies have long minimum times, but Fleet was very flexible. They did transportation to and from the ceremony and then left and came back to take us away from the reception. They prices were very reasonable as well. The driver was on time, very professional and flexible. We ended up leaving the reception nearly an hour after we were supposed to, but he never got impatient and was nothing but kind to us. I would recommend them to brides. -

I hired Fleet Transportation to run a shuttle between the hotel and church in Old Town Alexandria, as we had a number of out-of-town guests. They were great to work with. Showed up on time, drove the exact route I asked them to (avoiding the back-up of King Street). I had them running loops between the hotel and church, giving the guests different time options to catch the shuttle. It worked like a charm!
The contract was easy and even though we paid for a 4 hour minimum, but only used about 3, it was a very fair rate and well worth the money for the ease. -

I compared many different transportation companies (at least 6 in the area) on their prices and services, and Fleet was by far the best value. We booked a 25 passenger mini-bus to transport guests to and from the venue and hotel, and a sedan to pick my husband up at the end of the night. I worked with Stephen and he ended up being our sedan driver. The process was easy and Stephen was incredibly helpful. I made tweaks to start and end times as we approached the wedding day, and he quickly drafted a new contract and made the changes with ease. Fleet Transportation made getting the guests transportation carefree and I didn't have to worry about anyone driving home after too much celebrating at our reception. They were on time and knew exactly where they were going. Can't recommend Fleet enough! -

I can't say enough nice things about Fleet Transportation. We hired them to run a 32-passenger shuttle between our headquarters hotel in Old Town Alexandria and wedding/reception site in Arlington, and they were just fantastic.
I must have changed the schedule on them about 20 times in the days leading up to the event, and every time they responded with good cheer and let me know that whatever changes I would like would be made to the schedule, no problem. I also sent them multiple potential routes to take when I realized that there would be some construction taking place on GW Parkway between the hotel and reception site; they took this in stride as well and basically assigned us a great driver (Mr. Lamb) who really knew his way around and was comfortable in selecting the best route. They also assigned us a beautiful new bus that was really impressive!
Stephen Reddington and John Sower could not have been nicer or more professional in our dealings with them. By the way, almost all of our dealings were by email, and this was a HUGE convenience for me as I sought to nail down details of my wedding planning while at work.
I really would 100% recommend Fleet to anyone who needs to ensure that your guests get to your event safely and on time. This is a top-quality organization, and well worth what they charge. If you think about it, getting your guests to your wedding on time is one of the most important tasks of your wedding day - I highly, HIGHLY recommend that you go with someone who has top-notch service, drivers and equipment, as Fleet does. -

I loved working with Fleet! Ashley, the sales person I worked with, was very responsive and they were flexible to work with. We used Fleet for our wedding shuttle and had no idea how many people would want to use it. We booked a 38 passenger and ended up needing to book 2 38 passenger, which we were able to add only a few weeks out. I also changed the schedule a few times, and they were accommodating.
What I really loved was the day before I received the cell phone numbers for both drivers so I could call them directly if needed. I also got an email when the buses were on their way to the hotel for pick up, and another email when they were on the route. That took so much stress off day of. And the shuttle was nicer than I expected- it had leather seats and looked really fancy. -

I was extremely pleased with our overall experience with the team from Fleet Transportation. We ordered a 55 passenger coach bus bus, a smaller mini bus and one sedan through Fleet. Stephen Reddington was so great to work with and made the entire process as easy as possible. He responded to any questions we had promptly and was in touch with us the day before the wedding just to reconfirm all of our important details. On the day of, all of our transportation arrived on time and took our guests to/from the wedding and reception venues without any delays. Our drivers knew the city well and even made sure to take the more scenic route to the church so that our guests could enjoy the city. While this was not an issue for us, I don't believe that Fleet allows you to enjoy alcholic beverages inside of their vehicles, which may be a snag if you're looking to have a glass of bubbly on the way to your ceremony or reception. It's certainly worth checking with the company about this rule though. -

We used Fleet transportation to get our guests from our ceremony at the DC War Memorial on the National Mall to our reception at a Logan Circle hotel. Though the one-way trip was more expensive than we were hoping, they handled all of the logistics getting permits to pick up around the Mall, were perfectly on time, and very responsive via email. Reliable and flexible
We're very satisfied with Fleet after they provided shuttle and black car transportation for our wedding. I first called them about 6 months before the wedding and they helpfully walked through the options before I made a reservation. I was able to refine my order about 10 days before the wedding after I received the RSVPs and hotel room block information. All in all, very reliable and good service!Fleet Transportation's reply:

We worked with Ashley to arrange for transportation during our daughter’s wedding day. She is a true professional and a pleasure to work with —flexible, responsive and helpful in figuring out the best way to accomodate the logistical requirements surrounding our timing, hotel and venue locations and number of guests. Overall a great experience. The shuttles were nice and the drivers were friendly. There was a slight mishap where the destination got incorrectly entered, but the drivers were quick to help resolve that error on the fly, and they were extremely gracious throughout. Would definitely use Fleet Transportation again. -

One of the better values we could find, and very flexible and professional. I appreciated that they confirmed my plans by phone and by email before the event, and sent me the drivers' names and phone numbers too. The only issue was that our wedding was at Fort Belvoir, which allows access through only one gate for visitors without a military/DOD ID card, and despite my having the gate name and instructions on the order throughout the process, both drivers attempted to enter the other gate. Military bases are tricky though, so I'm not taking off many points for that. -

Fleet provided transportation for the bridal party as well as out-of-town guests. From the beginning, Joe was extremely responsive in adjusting timelines and vehicles needed based on my changing information (number of guests, locations for drop-off, etc.). Their prices were very competitive, and I liked that I had until 2 weeks before the event to make changes to the terms (vehicles needed and hours). The drivers were on time and professional. All of the guests arrived on time from the hotel, and the last shuttle waited beyond the contracted end time to ensure everyone had a ride back to the after party and hotel.
My one issue with Fleet related to the routes that drivers take to their destinations. The first ride of the day was the bride and bridesmaids' limo ride from the hotel to the venue. The driver used his GPS to navigate there, and what should have been a 15 min straight shot down the GW Parkway turned into a 30min round-about drive through random parts of Alexandria. A few minutes into that route, I told him he should have taken the Parkway, but he insisted that the GPS knew best. Having driven to venue no less than a dozen time in all types of traffic, I know he was wrong. As a result, we were late to the venue and had to skip some of the pictures we had planned. I recommend that drivers either 1) research the route beforehand on Google Maps or 2) do a test drive at some point. He had 2 more rides to provide in the limo, and I insisted that he take my way. According to my groom, he did so, but we were already behind schedule at that point. I'm not sure if the guest shuttles took the right route or not.
Overall, Fleet did a great job on my wedding transportation, but I would recommend that drivers not solely rely on GPS to find their destinations. -

Very responsive and easy to work with. Showed up on time and got our guests to our venue with no issues and made extra trips upon request! Would highly recommend! I believe Fleet is also reasonably-priced for the area. -

Fleet was recommended to us by our wedding planner and was a good choice. I haven't used a lot of car services in the past so I'm not an expert on how the price compared, but it seemed a tad expensive and I had hoped that the cars would be newer. These were somewhat used-looking and on my wedding day I had hoped for new-looking cars. The service was exceptional, however, from Fleet management down to our drivers. They were flexible and worked well with us via email. -

We were very happy with our choice to use Fleet Transportation! We used two 32-passenger shuttles and one (free) sedan to navigate through the narrow and crowded streets of Georgetown and Foggy Bottom. They were on time, knew where they were going and what they were doing, and made sure not to leave anyone behind.
The reservations people were easy to work with and the contract was detailed and straightforward. Somehow the signed version got lost, so when I called to confirm and make a couple changes 2 weeks ahead of time, they didn't show my reservation. Nevertheless, they made up for lost time so quickly it was as though nothing had happened. -

Good overall
We liked working with Fleet -- they were quick to respond and worked with us to establish a timeline with reasonable expectations about traffic, and they were flexible with our changes up to a point. We had to have a final timeline for them two months out from the wedding day.
The main hiccup was that though we had a set timeline, this did not seem to be communicated to the driver the day of, which caused some confusion while we were trying to transport ourselves and the bridal party to the venue for photos ahead of the wedding. Our coordinator sorted it out, and while we had to adjust our photo timeline, we had no further issues for the rest of the day and night. It was very nice to be able to get on the shuttle at the end of the night and not have to worry about transport.Fleet Transportation's reply:

Great office staff, but some issues with timing
The booking experience and flexibility of the office staff (especially Ashley, our booking coordinator), was great, and they were very flexible despite some last-minute adjustments to the trip. The drivers were safe and the vans were clean and comfortable. We would have rated the quality of service and value a little higher, but we had a big issue where the van arrived to the site where the groom and groomsmen were getting ready at least 20 minutes late. This meant that they were over 20 min late to the church (were meant to get there 30 min ahead of time and instead arrived less than 10 min ahead of the service). The price overall was comparable to other northern VA transport companies.Fleet Transportation's reply:

Fleet Transportation was very easy to work with. I was always able to get someone on the phone that was able to help me. They helped me get several different quotes using different size buses for different amounts of time. They were available via phone 24 hours/day. The buses were right on time and ran smoothly. The only issue I had with them is that at the end of the night-- we had booked the buses through 11:00. The reception ended at 10:00 and we were shuttling guests back to the hotel. At around 10:30 one of the drivers told my mom that he was leaving whether or not there were any guests aboard (the hotel was approximately 5 minutes away). She told him that was not happening and they worked it out. It just seemed like an unnecessary way to handle it on the drivers part.
This was the only issue we had with them-- otherwise they were reasonably priced and efficient. I would use them again. -

Fleet was wonderful to work with. We used them for rehearsal dinner transportation, transportation for a guest tour to the White House, limos for the wedding party, and guest shuttles for our wedding guests. They were professional, dependable, courteous, and ON TIME. No disappointments with their service. The only kind of odd thing was that my limo to the church (just me and my dad, kind of an emotional moment) had a strobe light going. It was a little weird, but it actually ended up calming our nerves because we were laughing so hard - and my Dad and I will never forget that ride to the church! -

I was happy with Fleet up until they took our guests to the wrong venue. When our guests tried to tell the driver that they were heading in the wrong direction, the driver tried to correct them. Everyone was about 30 minutes late, which in the grand scheme wasn't a big deal because at least they were all late together. To their credit, Fleet provided a refund for a portion of the cost. However, of course, it shouldn't have happened at all. I'd still recommend them, but triple check in person on the day of with the drivers themselves about whether they have the location correct. -

Fleet Transportation was fine for our wedding, considering that we only needed the ride for taking photos. The minibus was clean, air conditioned, and showed up on schedule, but I can’t say much else to recommend them. Despite giving them a list of the exact locations and a Google map, my new husband had to sit up in the front and talk the driver through most of the directions. The driver kept trying to plug in the directions to a GPS, which for national landmarks in DC doesn’t really work (the Capitol does not have an address!). Then once the wedding party was dropped off at the reception location, the driver was supposed to pick up people at the hotel (one block away) and drop them off at the reception (again, one block away). Instead, the driver took them five blocks away from the location, and only stopped when my parents asked her where she was going. People who walked from the hotel made it before people on the minibus. I would suggest having a printed map with a route you can give to the driver as you get on the minibus. Overall, they were fine. But we didn’t like that we had to navigate some of the places even when we took the time to write them out and make a Google map the week before the event. You may want to put some float in your schedule in case there is a problem. -

Good for Smaller Vehicles, Trouble with Buses
We used Fleet to reserve a 24 passenger van for our rehearsal, 2 12-person vans for our wedding, and 2 55-person buses for our wedding guests. The booking and sales process was very easy. While the prices were expensive, they did seem to be more reasonable than several of the other places we looked into.
Our experience with the smaller vans was good - they arrived early/ on time and went right to the destination. Unfortunately, our experience with the larger buses was disappointing. While they arrived on time and went right to the venue (although one had a broken air conditioner), upon arriving at the venue, the drivers said they would not be able to turn around in the parking lot after dark. This meant that after doing a shuttle run an hour before the wedding ended, that bus would not be returning to take more guests back as previously arranged. This was incredibly frustrating and confusing the day of our wedding. First, every seat would be filled, which left us scrambling to come up with a solution in the moment (there were no larger buses available). Instead, Fleet sent a smaller van to do a few shuttle runs, which ultimately got everyone back but the wedding party was left at the venue about 45 minutes longer than planned. Second, we booked Fleet because they had been to Woodlawn "many times" before. It's confusing that the booking agents weren't aware of their driver's restriction at a venue they travel to frequently when making the shuttle arrangements.
I appreciated Fleet's willingness to find a solution in the moment, but the whole situation seemed fairly avoidable. Also, I was surprised to see most of our drivers using Google maps on their hand-held phones for navigation. While I was pleased they were using a real-time traffic app (rather than built-in navigation or no GPS navigation), I was surprised there wasn't a dashboard mount or a more integrated GPS system.
I would still recommend looking into Fleet for their large selection, ease of booking process, and reasonable rates. However, I would make sure to ask a lot of questions, over-communicate, and find out about back-up plan options if something goes wrong.Fleet Transportation's reply:

The wedding was in July 2018, a hot day. Both the van and bus lacked working air conditioning and the drivers were not helpful at all about it. We felt bad and embarrassed for our guest, as all were uncomfortable. -

Our wedding coordinator recommended Fleet over all the other transportation services in the area. While it was more expensive, she assured us that they have much better service and knew their way to our venue (where other transportation companies have gotten lost). Ashley was very helpful, responsive, and extremely friendly. I appreciated her multiple confirmation emails and providing all the driver info beforehand. I also like that they send notifications with the location of each driver from start to finish (I recommend giving Ashley your coordinator's email because I wasn't checking my emails on my own wedding day).
Personally I only interacted with the one driver who took us in the 14 passenger van from our getting ready location to the venue and he was significantly lacking time management skills and professionalism. He showed up on time, but we weren't completely ready (we built in a half hour for this), so we offered him to either wait or just come back in 15-20 minutes. He said he was going to get gas, but why wasn't the gas tank full before he initially arrived? He returned later than the 15-20 minutes, then he missed a turn even while his GPS was on, and had to make a U-turn which put us about 30 minutes behind. He was visibly stressed the entire drive, shaking his head, huffing and puffing, and slamming his fists on the steering wheel. After dropping the wedding parties off at the venue he was to pickup the last hotel group and missed a turn AGAIN! We ended up starting our ceremony about 10 minutes late while waiting for those final guests to arrive (they were scheduled to arrive 15 minutes prior to the ceremony, so a total of 25 minutes late even with built in buffers). Those 10 minutes may not seem like much but we were on a tight schedule since the sunset was right after our ceremony and we were trying to get pictures done in time before dark.
Overall the company seems organized and professional, but this driver reflects very poorly on them. -

I hired Fleet to provide a 55 passenger bus, a 24 passenger bus, and 3 sedans for my wedding. The sales rep was generally helpful, and Fleet transportation had the best price among the vendors I evaluated. The day before the wedding, they called to confirm times and sent information for individual drivers. Unfortunately, execution on the day of the wedding was very poor. Both the 55 passenger and the 24 passenger buses got lost getting from the church to the reception site. Guests did not arrive until around 5:30 for a reception that started at 5:00 pm. (Dinner was to start at 6:30 pm.) The driver that drove my wife and me to the reception was not waiting outside the church but was parked elsewhere so we had to call him. He got there quickly after I called but the last thing I wanted to be doing on my wedding day was fumbling on my iPhone to find a number to call the driver. The driver then proceeded to take Route 1 (ceremony was in DC and reception in Alexandria at Woodlawn), which he claimed was just as fast as I-395/95. But anyone who knows the area knows that dealing with those lights on Route 1 on a Saturday is not faster than I-395/95. This resulted in us also not getting to the reception until after 5:30 pm. Lastly, the driver who picked up me and my wife at the end of the night called for directions because he too got lost. Lastly, I was charged an additional $300 for bus clean-up (let's just say one of the guest had a little too much to drink). I have no problems with paying for the clean-up, but do think it was excessive. May sure you comparison shop on this point since things like this do happen at such celebratory events. Overall, the experience was not great. -
