    Amazing Venue and Great Value

    My husband and I were amazed at the prices for this venue- it was almost too good to be true and ultimately we were blown away by the level of professionalism and service we received. Michelle was incredible from start to finish. It felt like she was part of the family by the end of the night. She was on top of everything and made sure that everything ran smoothly, helped us get some amazing shots, and was super accommodating. I We had a small wedding (33 guests) and it was so greatly priced. Definitely recommend it.

    EASY and Simple

    I couldn't decide where to do my wedding ceremony and 2 weeks before our wedding Date we checked out Flamingo Gardens. Michelle made it easy and stress-LESS! She was there to help guide me and helped us take amazing pics with the best views! I had a perfect small (less than 20 guests) ceremony. It was perfect! I suggest hiring a violinist for your ceremony. We also got some great pics with the peacocks in the background!

    Beautiful Rustic Wedding

    The first time we visited this location, we knew we wanted to have our ceremony by the beautiful Banyan tree. The venue was perfect for what we wanted: a relatively small, romantic and rustic-themed wedding. The garden is very well-kept, full of greenery and even better on a sunny day. We had our cocktail hour in the lawn area and our reception in the pavilion. Michelle helped us throughout the entire process and was always responsive to our concerns – and that’s vital when you’re planning a wedding, which is already stressful enough. We decided to have her as our day-of coordinator and that was the best decision we made. She was on top of every detail with all of the vendors that morning, making sure everything ran smoothly and was placed according to what we had asked for. And not only did she make sure that our wedding looked like what we envisioned, but she also took care of us to ensure we were focused only on enjoying our big day. Our ceremony was beautiful and we couldn’t be happier with Michelle’s work.

    Magical Affair

    Beautiful Venue!!!

    My intimate wedding at Flamingo Gardens was absolutely beautiful!! I am so happy I chose this venue for our ceremony. The staff is so prompt to answer all of your questions and very helpful. Michelle and her staff made sure my special day turned out perfect. Book your wedding here, your pictures are going to turn out stunning!! :)

    Wonderful, intimate wedding

    Thank you to everyone at the beautiful Flamingo Gardens that helped make our wedding to be exactly what we wanted - simple, beautiful, intimate, with beautiful nature and wonderfully eccentric peacocks roaming everywhere

    If you want a magical wedding that you'll never forget- Flamingo Gardens is it! It's so beautiful, the trees alone are enough to be your decorations. Michelle and her team were great, and helped us every step of the way. I would highly recommend this venue!

    It was perfect!!!!! Seamless for all of our guests and as organized as it was it still felt organic! We could not have asked for more!

    Our wedding was a week after hurricane Irma. Michelle and Tiffany worked relentlessly getting the grounds/Gardens ready, ensuring that everything was immaculate and presentable for such an occasion. One would never believe a hurricane had recently passed through. Thank you Michelle - you are truly amazing!!!

    Amazing venue and staff!

    To begin with the service area was not too far from the private parking lot in the back which made it very convenient. The staff maintained the area, set up was clean and beyond expectations. They were flexible in who we got our flower arrangement set up from, and didn’t limit us to specific vendors. We were surrounded by peacocks and beautiful scenery. They even took us (my wife and I and the photographer) on a golf cart around the property after the ceremony to get some awesome photos! Overall Flamingo Gardens made our day special and very memorable.

    We had an awesome experience at Flamingo Gardens on April 22, 2017!!! Michelle McBride, made sure that everything went smoothly and that we was well taken care of for our wedding as well as reception!!! They will definitely get business from us again!!!

    A perfect experience!

    Flamingo gardens was the perfect venue in so many ways. We were married there in February 2017, and everything was perfect in large part to the staff. Michelle was amazing and so professional and warm! She stayed to ensure everything ran smoothly, which turned out to be a big help. Her assistant was top of the line as well, and I will always be so grateful to them for their help. The venue is beautiful and my guests were in awe of the beautiful decor, the roaming animals/peacocks, the open air beauty, and (my favorite) the grandiose tree that we were married in front of. I would recommend Michelle and Flamingo Gardens to any and everyone, and I have! Don't think twice! Thank you, Flamingo Gardens. Your venue was the perfect setting for the happiest day of my life!

    Michelle was absolutely the best! She and her staff were responsive to our emails and calls prior to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Michelle was personally there and very helpful through the entire time. We are extremely happy we chose to get married at Flamingo Gardens. The day was absolutely beautiful!

    Wedding Ceremony and Reception for 115

    Flamingo Gardens is an excellent setting for weddings and receptions. The gardens offer a picture perfect backdrop. The event planning team were wonderful to work with. Michelle is very responsive and she really does her best to make your wedding day the best day ever. Although this venue is a sanctuary and historical site, they are moderately flexible. There are some rules that come with historical sites/sanctuaries that most Brides do not think about, but Michelle informed us up front so that there were no surprises. I only wish that I had been able to rent out the gallery. It would have provided me with the opportunity to take more photos in different locations on the property.

    Best outdoor wedding venue! The gardens themselves are gorgeous and well maintained. There are peacocks and other various birds walking around, they'll be sure to pay your wedding a visit, our guests loved it. If you're looking for a picturesque spot, this is the place.

    One pointer I'd like to make if you choose this venue, and you should, is to make sure the guests can hear everything. We used a battery powered amp for the ceremony and music, because it's outdoors. There are birds everywhere and an occasional plane flying by(no one was distracted by it) so the amp made certain that everyone could hear the ceremony.

    The staff is very accommodating. They were present during the entire event and went above and beyond to ensure everything went well. Zero complaints. I had the perfect wedding here.

    We discovered Flamingo Gardens on an August afternoon and almost immediately knew we wanted to be wed on its grounds. A little piece of heaven on Earth! Our day was beautiful and easy. The staff- very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend!

    The venue was a dream, and we wouldn't ask for a better scenery and wedding. However, Michelle was not the easiest to work with and was difficult to get a hold of BUT the day of she was there the entire time, she delivered the day of and was on point.

    The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, but unfortunately we had quite a few issues leading up the wedding. I stated on numerous occasions over email (I live in another state) that I wanted to use the gallery (building with AC) for my reception, but about one month before the wedding I was on the phone with Michelle and she said she had no knowledge of me requesting the gallery, so I had to use the pavilion (outdoor with no AC). We ended up ending the wedding an hour early due to the heat since it was outside with only fans to keep everyone cool in 95 degree heat. The day before the wedding, I mentioned I wanted a tent for the banyan tree since it was supposed to rain during the ceremony. I was told I was supposed to order one months in advance, so I couldn’t get one. None of the staff bothered to tell me when I need to rent the tent by. Due to rain, I ended up having to have the whole wedding in the pavilion, a building I never even wanted to begin with. I was also told that I would be given 4 rectangle tables that fit 10 people, so I rented 4 rectangle linens from my caterer. I got to the venue a few hours before the wedding, and instead there were 5 round tables that fit 6. I had to call my caterer last second to change the linen order since the tables had changed without anyone telling me. I was initially told that the venue would cost me $5,515 and that $2,000 of that had to be paid in cash. Later I was told that the $2,000 in cash was in addition to the $5,515 total, so I was given a whole new total one month before the wedding. On the Flamingo Gardens website it says 21-50 guests costs $1,000 for the ceremony, but Michelle said it was $1,500. When I said the website says otherwise, she had no idea what I was talking about. The day of my wedding, I had to call and email several times before anyone got back to me. Although the venue is beautiful, the poor communication between staff and I made it almost not worth it.

    Hi Cailtin,
    Thank you for submitting your review of our venue. We apologize for any miscommunication that may have occurred for this event. It was our understanding, after speaking with your grandmother and yourself on the phone, that you did not want the Gallery. If at one point your venue choice had changed and we had not communicated well on this, we sincerely apologize. The pavilion is a covered venue with fans, and we rented cooling units for you and your guests, so as to make sure your guests would not be uncomfortable in heat without the cooling units. Tents must be ordered one week prior to the wedding, to ensure that it is available, not one month prior. We were worried about the rain as well, and called the week of (during one of our regular confirmation calls to check that we have all the right information) to ask if you wanted to rent out the tent, to which you let us know you did not. During the call we also discussed guest count (we wanted to make sure we had everything needed for all guests), and as the guest count had changed, we reviewed your contract and saw the amount of 72inch round tables you requested needed to be adjusted to the new guest count. These changes were communicated to our caterer, as we always let them know as soon as changes are made. We are so sorry you were unhappy, we did our best to make sure everything went well on your special day and truly wanted nothing more than for everything to be perfect. Neither during your rehearsal the day before nor the day of were we made aware that you were dissatisfied with our services. We had such a wonderful experience with both you and your grandmother and truly apologize for any miscommunication.

    Michelle McBride is a terrible employee that shouldn't work in this industry. Flamingo Gardens only hosts 1 event a weekend and that is too much for her to handle. We had our ceremony there and she wouldn't stop passive aggressively reminding us that we didn't book the whole wedding there, and used it as an excuse over and over to not do things. We booked over a year in advance and we told her we wanted the carriage and chavari chair upgrade. If I hadn't taken it upon myself to confirm everything a couple months prior to the wedding we wouldn't have had the chairs. During that same meeting when I mentioned the carriage she said "oh yeah, I should see if they're available...". Never got the carriage and didn't remotely get an apology. She didn't show up for the rehearsal, but when we booked it she wouldn't budge the time for it, as if they were fully booked. Tiffany, her assistant, is a pleasure to work with. Our ceremony started late and because of this she refused to take us around with the photographer afterwards for pictures and were asked to leave (it was 4:45). All she did was point at her watch, shrugged at us and walked away. She never once tried to work WITH us, she was so difficult to talk to; constantly trying to prove something. The gardens are beautiful, the peacocks are great... but working with this venue requires some patience and attention to detail.

    Hello Katherine, we deeply apologize this is how you felt after having your wedding here. However everything that you asked and paid for was provided. We were in constant communication with you and Brian and even met several times before the wedding to discuss all of your concerns. As for the vendor we use for the carriage rides they were completely booked so we called several other vendors and found one for you and gave you and Brian the option to bring in an outside carriage vendor because of that inconvenience, which myself and my assistant apologized several times for. As for the rehearsal my assistant Tiffany was there to accommodate you and your family in any way you guys needed. Sorry that you felt that way, many blessings in your future.

    The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The old, beautiful trees made our pictures looks outstanding and the pavilion hall was the perfect blank slate for my wedding planner and I to transform it into my dream reception. However, Michelle (the venue’s wedding coordinator) seemed to be set on one type of layout for the space which didn’t make sense to me. It was a struggle to almost have to convince her that it would be fine (which it was). It got to a point that she very aggressively confronted me in front of my wedding planner during a venue visit by saying, “Did i do something to you? You’ve had such an attitude today.” This completely shocked me because i was simply just trying to get down to business. It was extremely unprofessional and made me feel more stress and anxiety rather than staying calm before the big day. For the entire rest of the visit, she was extremely cold and pretty much wouldn’t give me a straight answer to any of my questions. I have no complaints about my wedding day. The space was beautiful and my planner and florist worked wonders. I just wish such a beautiful venue had a more professional staff. If you do end up booking this venue, make sure you hire your own planner to back you up on your ideas and make sure it’s what you want on the day of! Because you cannot rely on the staff to do it for you.
