The perfect throwback
Some people might think it’s strange to have a school bus to transport your guests to and from the venue but it was perfect for us. Great value, could easily transport lots of people in a low key way. It was perfect for us and a lot of people enjoyed going back on the school bus again for the first time since they were kids! Our driver was super kind and everything went great!

NH Wedding Guest Transportation

Wedding party charter
I booked First Charter for my daughter's wedding party as I only needed a one way ride for this large group. All of the other charter companies I contacted would only do a round trip. The wedding party loved riding on a school bus! The driver arrived 30 minutes before the scheduled pickup time and waited patiently for the group. The driver dropped off of the group at two Airbnbs located close to each other.

party school bus
First Student Charter Bus provided 2 school buses for transportation on our wedding day. Drivers were patient and friendly and, though I can only speak for the bus I was on at the end of the night, they kept the party going! Great experience.

I wish I remembered our bus driver's names so I could thank them personally, but regrettably that detail has left my memory. However, they were absolute professionals and excellent drivers. On the way back, our bus driver put up with our college friends loudly singing marching band songs for the entire 20 minute ride back!! As a bonus, all of our lost and found was collected and brought to the office location where I picked it up after the honeymoon. The price was incredibly fair and they were able to accommodate a fluctuating number of guests no problem. Also the buses were sparkling clean!

Prompt and on time!
I hired this vendor as many of guests were coming out of state and we wanted to provide transportation for them to and from the ceremony. The company is not based out of Washington, but rather in the state of Ohio. The bus arrived on time and our guests rode to the venue in a cute, yellow school bus.

This is your sign to get a school bus shuttle for your wedding
My husband and I decided to get a shuttle bus in the middle of wedding planning so we did not want to break the bank for a coach bus especially since the ride between our venue and the hotel was only 10 minutes. A bride told me to consider a school bus, and I had no idea that was even an option. The price was half that of the coach buses used by the formal transportation/limo companies. This was a great option for us and our guests loved the novelty! It was awesome to picked up by a school bus again. Also, our bus driver was very kind and took care of our guests. Would definitely recommend!

I don’t know how First Charter doesn’t have better reviews. The bus arrived on time. The driver was very accommodating and let us take the long way from the church to the reception. Everyone loved the throw back feel of taking a yellow school bus. We brought two coolers filled with beer… The only rule is no glass allowed. The price is extremely reasonable and much cheaper than every other option. The bus holds 40 people. I would definitely book this company again!

I was able to call and speak directly to someone who helped me plan multiple buses to and from my wedding/hotel. They were very clear with COVID restrictions, pricing, and timing, even understanding the time it would take for a bus to drive vs. a car to make sure that they did not delay anything. When I called back a few weeks later to slightly alter the timing based off of a time change with our ceremony, they were very accommodating and were once again clear and helpful.

We used 3 buses from First Student charter to shuttle our guests home from the venue at the end of the night and were pleased with the service. First Student was organized and communicative in advance of the event, showed up early enough to be ready for loading promptly, had extremely clean buses, and the drivers were all very friendly. The drivers had no issue with guests continuing to sing loudly and have a great time during the drive, which was great to keep the energy up!

First Student was such a great choice of shuttle between our hotel and wedding reception venue. The driver arrived and departed on time and communicated with me on the day of. She even came back to the reception venue for an unscheduled last pickup when we called her, and then called me after searching the bus when she found something that had been left so I could come down to the lobby to pick it up from her. The price was far better than other companies we looked at and the service was great, and so nice for people not to have to worry about driving or paying for a ride!

Barbara and the Branford CT location are amazing!
I didn’t think my transportation vendor would be my favorite but Barbara and Zina, our driver, made our wedding seamless and special. Barbara had no issues with our twice rescheduled wedding, was extremely fast, easy, and so positive to communicate with. When I dropped off our check, she greeted me like an old friend and that warmth comes through even in email. Zina decorated our bus to transport us and our guests -an amazing touch! Highly recommend.

When we thought we left an item on the bus the following day, we called the main number and they were able to reach the bus driver and discuss our concern. Perfect lower-cost (and fun) option for wedding guest transportation
We had a great experience with First Student for our guest shuttles. Their rates were significantly more reasonable than the other transportation companies I contacted. It was easy to make adjustments in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and they got our guests to the wedding on time. Our guests had lots of fun with the school bus, even leading rounds of “the wheels on the bus” on the bus back to the hotel after the wedding!

What a fun way to transport all of your guests from one location to another! They were the most reasonably priced transportation group and the driver was so nice and even waited for us (the bride and groom) to gather all our things from the venue and hop on the bus. I would highly recommend them to anyone on a budget looking for a fun type of transportation!

I cannot tell you how happy we were that we hired this company. First of all, best value for the money - using a school bus really suited our needs and guest count lol. But let me tell you why this company was amazing - I dropped my phone on the bus as I was getting off, so my wedding coordinator reached out, the driver came back IN HIS PERSONAL CAR WITHIN THE HOUR to return my phone to the hotel. I seriously could not be more grateful for such kind, professional service. This was one of the best decisions we made, don't spend your money elsewhere.

10.19.19 - Shuttle bus for remote wedding venue
We rented a First Student Charter Bus for our wedding to shuttle guests - our hotel block and venue were about 30 minutes away from each other, and the venue was in a remote country setting (so no Uber or Lyft). We wanted our guests to have fun, and be safe. Everything was perfect! The driver was the sweetest woman ever and we invited her in for dinner and cake! We had one outbound trip and two return trips to the hotel at the end of the wedding. We ended up changing the times of shuttle buses the week of the wedding and they were able to accommodate the changes (and our rate actually went down!) The price was very reasonable, and the process was seamless between getting a quote and paying for the services. If we ever need a charter bus again, we will certainly use First Student Charter Bus! Everyone loved it (mostly because they could still have a drink or two on the bus ride!)

We’re so glad we worked with First Student Charter Bus! It was the most budget-friendly shuttle option we found, and they were incredibly flexible and easy to work with. The drivers also went above and beyond on our wedding day—they arrived early, so I got the special treat of riding a shuttle to our venue, and the driver who stayed until the end of our after party was incredibly warm and friendly despite the long day. First Charter was amazing! They got all my guests to the wedding in one piece and when the last shuttle should have left, I was nervous they might leave without me (the bride and the groom) which they did not, my maid of honor made sure the other bus was filled up and went back to the hotel and that the second bus was ready waiting for the remainder of the bridal party as we had to grab our bags from the bridal suite, I don't recall how much later we had the bus waiting, I don't image it was much longer considering the venue had us ready to go immediately at the end but that was something I stressed about, but we were able to get our ride back without any issues! Highly recommend them! (we sprung the lil extra for the air conditioned buses and do not regret it!)

Very easy to work with in advance and they were nice and prompt. We did the shuttle between the hotel and the venue twice before the ceremony, and did recurring runs on the way home from the venue. Everything went smoothly and it was such a big help to not worry about the guests drinking and driving!

We used First Student Charter for our wedding on 8/24/2019. We had two bus transfers to/from the venue that went smoothly with no issues at all - the busses arrived and departed on time, which made it one less thing to have to worry about on our wedding day. Working with First Student was extremely easy - they were always available when I called with questions or changes to our itinerary, and quickly followed up with email confirmations. We are glad we chose First Student for our wedding day and would highly recommend them to anyone else looking for easy and safe transportation for their wedding guests!

Such a great experience!

We hired First Student for several pick-ups and drop-offs at various locations for our wedding weekend. First Student was very patient in updating our schedule when we requested changes, and prior to the day of the wedding one of the drivers texted me to confirm. She also showed up half an hour early for the first pick up, which made me feel confident and less stressed about all the transportation for our guests.

We took our own cars to the venue and had our guests shuttled in by the bus. They showed up on time, did a great job and was the only thing that I didn't have to micro-manage throughout the day with my coordinator!

Extremely happy with the service that they provided. We were able to add an extra run at the end of the night for no extra charge and had a few other changes that were accommodated prior to the wedding date. One thing to make sure when you're booking your trip is to be as specific as possible as to what you want so they charge you accordingly!

Awesome school bus
Our hotel was about 20 minutes from our venue and we didn't want guests drinking and driving so we looked for a cost effective way to transport about 50 guests and this was perfect. They were on time, the driver was friendly and accommodating. They will make as many trips between the two destinations as need be which was perfect for the older people at the wedding who wanted to leave shortly after dinner. Everyone loved feeling like a kid riding on the school bus and it fit nicely in our budget!

Took guests back to their childhood!
Our guests could not stop raving about our choice of transportation for our wedding. They loved that it was a school bus! While my wife and I didn’t personally ride in the buses provided by First Student Charter, we can say that booking with them was an easy process and their corporate team was very accommodating with our last minute changes. They were much more reasonably priced than other shuttle bus vendors we explored (and we look at a LOT) and we thought that their use of school buses provided a charming precursor to our rustic wedding. This company is great! They are easy to work with. We had two school buses for our wedding reception to take guests back to the hotel at the end of the night. The buses were clean and the drivers were great. My guests were so relieved that they did not have to drive. Having 2 buses for an evening was pretty affordable as well.

Company was great. They showed up exactly where they were supposed to be exactly when they were supposed to. On a day filled with stress it was nice not having to worry about this. Only complaint is really my fault but I’ll mention with the hope that they will see this, I forgot the envelope with all our tips for vendors at home, we contacted first student to find out where a tip could be dropped off for the driver after the fact and got no response.

No complaints! Customer service on the phone was so helpful and friendly. Didn't need a deposit, and final payment was easily made a little over a week before of the event. The bus came on time for all the trips it took during our reservation block which was for 8 hours! The final trip back to the hotel after our wedding was super fun. We had congas from our wedding reception and sang songs all the way back to the hotel. The driver was friendly and celebrated with us. Great experience! Felt safe the entire time!

We are thrilled to have used First Student for our wedding transportation. They were easy to reach, allowed us to tweak the quote several times and experiment with different routes and schedules before finalizing the reservation, and everything went smoothly without a hitch. At the end of the night, the driver came into the bar where we had our after-party to announce it was the last run and ensure that he didn't miss anyone. Clearly, above and beyond. The school bus had seat belts and was a fun, easy way to save some cash on what we think would have been an unnecessary upgrade.

We used First Student Charter Bus Rental on our wedding day for transportation to and from the hotels to our wedding venue for our guests. They were very easy to speak with and set everything up. They send you confirmations of your itinerary and make sure all of the details were covered. I spoke with the driver when he arrived at the venue and he was very nice and accommodating to our requests. Also the price is great! If you need shuttle service for your guests this is the company to use. Plus they will love being on a yellow school bus!

We were interested in a school bus for our wedding because it was half the price and fit double the amount of people then a few of the companies we had looked at and just overall thought it would be a fun idea for transportation. Our wedding was in chester county PA on 9/8/18 and we were booked with first student charters Newark, DE branch. Everything went smoothe from the initial booking until the night ended and they dropped us off at the hotel. I had to change my times around once or twice during the process and they would send that to whomever to be approved and not even a day later I would receive confirmation through email. Some of our guests mentioned there was one wrong turn made on the way to the venue, but when you have 48 people with smartphones on a bus someone was able to figure it out quickly. It truly wasn't a huge issue and did not effect our day in the slightest. Happy we went with them!

We are so glad we decided to get a bus for the night of our wedding! Our driver was courteous and respectful and drove us safely to and from the hotel to the venue! Worth every penny to make sure everyone was safe! Thank you a million times!

First Student provided the shuttle buses for our wedding this summer, and they were excellent. They came by the property a day early to scope out the drive and pick up / drop off location, which really impressed us. On the day of, they arrived on time and made sure our guests did too!

First Student was very responsive and helpful right form the start of the planning stages up to the day of the weeding. We highly recommend using them to shuttle guests so they can relax and enjoy the whole wedding experience.

I had a GREAT experience with First Student at our Memorial Day weekend wedding! I got a call from headquarters about two weeks before our wedding - we were actually outside the range of service and shouldn't have been able to book with them. Thankfully, they said they would still fulfill their duty and we finalized our schedule. They did great driving everyone around all day and back and forth from our venue to the hotel. Overall a great price (best I found) and easy to work with! Everything was on time and friendly

I recently worked with the Plymouth Meeting branch of First Student Charter to provide a shuttle at my wedding. I admit I was nervous about booking this company based on some of their negative reviews. However, they are clearly the most cost-effective option out there for a shuttle service and, fortunately, we had a great experience! Our bus/shuttle arrived right on time at the hotel to bring guests to our wedding ceremony, and the driver stayed on site throughout the reception as planned. The shuttle was clean, our driver was friendly and professional, and our guests appreciated that they didn’t have to worry about driving. I can’t speak for all of the company’s locations, but I definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a shuttle service near Plymouth Meeting, PA!
