Great, professional and well-priced catering experience

Working with Chef Tony was a great experience. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, Tony was very receptive to adjustments to menu items including vegan dish options. He was always very kind and extremely organized when it came to planning, phone calls and keeping track of anything we'd need for the day of. There are several packages available which are reasonably priced. We selected the Turquoise Dinner package and there was plenty of food for everyone with ample leftovers! The wait staff was extremely professional on the day of the wedding. I definitely recommend splurging on the little bit extra money for their staff to clean up all the dishes at the end of the evening. Everything was great and I would definitely recommend Chef Tony to any future brides.

Chef Tony is Amazing!

I couldn't have asked for better catering for my wedding. Chef Tony and his staff gave us an amazing experience. From the excellent communication to the politeness of the serving staff on our big day. We just recently got married after the restrictions were lifted in our county, and Chef Tony was very flexible with us as our numbers and wedding date kept changing. Not only that, but he is a great person to work with for your wedding. He checks in with you and asks questions and updates you while showing how much he truly cares about your wedding. The food he provided was so delicious, we still keep getting compliments about how good it was! We also decided to ask him to do our cake and desserts, and we couldn't have asked for a better dessert layout! It was so tasty, and I wish we could eat like that every day. I highly recommend Chef Tony and his wonderful staff!

Best Caterer Ever

Chef Tony and his team were amazing! The food and drinks were fantastic, everybody raved about how good the chicken was. Chef Tony was wonderful to work/plan with and always very easy to communicate with. On the wedding day the staff were incredibly professional and friendly and went out of their way to make sure that the hubby and I managed to get food on the busy day. I would absolutely recommend First Fruits to anyone looking for a caterer.

Great food!

Chef Tony was great to work with, and his food was delicious! We got the Ruby Dinner Package, and all the guests really enjoyed it! Tony did not personally cater our wedding because he had another wedding to work, but his staff did a great job in his absence. We also had Chef Tony make our wedding cake, and it was SO good! We definitely recommend Chef Tony for any catering needs!

Wedding Appetizers and Dinner

Chef Tony did an outstanding job with our wedding food including appetizers and dinner. He had great communication throughout finalizing our count and menu. Our guests absolutely loved the food. The bride and groom may be biased but they think it is the best wedding food they have had. We highly recommend first fruits catering for your wedding!

Absolutely Outstanding! He was such a low maintenance, no stress, had it all covered kind. I can't express enough how professional and amazing him and his team were. It was so nice not to have to worry about what they were doing on top of everything else going on around me!!!

My husband and I are from IL and did a destination wedding at Honeysuckle Hills in Pigeon Forge, TN. The venue works with Chef Tony and highly recommended him. I’m so glad they did. Everything was absolutely delicious! Chef Tony was so friendly and easy to work with. He allowed us to make a couple food swaps and made us cupcakes instead of a wedding cake. He even lets us do half the cupcakes vanilla bean and the other half red velvet and used two different frosting colors to go with our rustic theme. We also went with iced tea and lemonade which was a huge hit. Everything was wonderful, staff was excellent. Every single person made a point to come tell us how the food was the BEST they’ve ever had at a wedding. Thank you for making our wedding so enjoyable! All our guests are still raving over the food and cupcakes.

Chef Tony and his crew were so wonderful to work with. They listened to what I wanted and gave me peace of mind over our reception food. They also did our wedding cake, which I loved!! Professional, DELICIOUS food options, and well worth the value. I'm so thankful I chose them!

The food was exceptional! We got our dinner and cakes from this catering company, and everything was delicious!! Everyone kept bragging on the food! The cake is seriously the best cake I've ever had in my life, and I've tried a lot of different cakes!

We cannot thank Tony and his amazing crew enough for the amazing food and level of service at our Star Wars themed wedding.
Everyone at our wedding complimented us on the food. Our cake was a special themed cake and we just couldn't have been happier with it! It far exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend them for any event!

Chef Tony and his staff are truly professionals! The food for our event was perfect in every way and I have never tasted a better cake ANYWHERE. There was plenty, even for guests to have seconds and Tony even added enough for our service providers to be served as well. We were directed to Tony by the venue provider and it was the best choice for our day!

Chef Tony was a delight to work with. He was so attentive and really listened to our desires for the wedding dinner and made helpful suggestions when we didn't have answers. He was very kind and understanding when I had a million questions and needed several meetings to get everything accomplished. He also made our wedding cake. The entire meal was wonderful! It was exactly what we had hoped for, cake and caramel apple fondue included! The presentation and taste of it all was amazing. Our wedding cake was beautiful and exactly what I had in mind. We really appreciated the doggie bags of our dinner so Mark and I could actually enjoy it after the wedding since we were too busy to eat at the reception. Thank you so much for all of your wonderful work, Chef Tony. We hope to see you around again at Vienna and get our wedding cake every anniversary!

After having Chef Tony's food at multiple weddings, I did not even consider any other caterers for my own-- he is that good. I took my fiance to a tasting at a wedding open house, and he immediately agreed with me. Tony's food is delicious, diverse, well-priced and his staff is unbelievably professional. They will tailor the menu to your exact tastes. I would recommend Tony to any bride-to-be and will definitely use them again for future catered events.

First Fruits did an amazing job with our wedding. They have a great menu selection to choose from and offer excellent suggestions. They are very professional and take care of everything! They made sure to have food for our wedding party after pictures and a plate ready for my husband and I. After the wedding I received so many wonderful comments about how excellent our food and drinks were. I would highly recommend using First Fruits!

The food was absolutely delicious! The meatballs and broccoli casserole were especially popular with our guests. Chef Tony also made our wedding cake and cupcakes, all of which were amazing and exactly what we wanted! Chef Tony and his staff are very professional and easy to work with. Chef Tony was a great choice for us. We decided on a date with fairly short notice and he was able to accommodate our needs. Chef Tony was open to any questions and requests we had for the meal. After selecting him and our food choices, we were able to concentrate on other things. They arrived for set up at time stated and all the quests were very happy with the food and service both. We picked Chef tony from his web site and couldn't have asked for it to have gone smoother. We would be happy to recommend him for an event, and judging from the comments guests made about the food and service, he will be getting future requests for his services from them.

Chef Tony and his team were amazing. Food was great! Perfectly seasoned and done well. The steak medallion was perfection- no steak sauce needed and cooked perfectly! His staff were responsive and professional during the entire reception. The cake....OMG the cake!!! HIGHLY recommend the cake. It was moist and tasted so good! I sent Chef Tony some pics off of Pinterest on what I was liking and wanted the direction of the cake to go and he nailed it! The cake is so good, my husband asked if we could eat our top layer (which is in our freezer) now - 2 months after the wedding. I really can't say how awesome Chef Tony was - he was attentive to me as soon as he was notified from our wedding location of the need for food for our party, responded quickly to emails and calls (which I have a tendency to forget to return calls), and was a complete pleasure to work with. No stress, no worries for me when it came to knowing Chef Tony was in charge. Again, TOP KNOTCH!!

The event was an annual luncheon at Shannondale Community Center in June 2014. Tony was very helpful and able to offer various suggestions for the meal. He always seemed to have everything under control.

We absolutely love Chef Tony and his whole crew. Their food is amazing and they staff is extremely sweet and professional. We went to several different bridal shows to taste different foods and there wasn’t anything we didn’t love. Tony was so helpful in knowing what foods would be a good match together and how things needed to flow. Even helped us figure out what would be best for our budget. We would book First Fruits again in a heart beat.

Tony was very very helpful and flexible. The food and cakes were delicious. They had the best price in the area for everything.The only problem we had was the wedding cake, grooms cake and some of the cupcakes didn't look like we wanted them to. The staff were very professional. Even though we had some minor issues the overall experience was fantastic.

Chef Tony's food is incredible! We got so many compliments on how good the food was at my wedding. It was almost all gone by the end of the night, and we thought we had ordered too much food! Chef Tony is a character and a great caterer to work with!!

OMG!!! Are you kidding me. We interviewed seveal catering companies from Gatlinburg to Knoxville and while Chef Tony's was the cheapest, but it was by far the best Deal. The food was awesome and the service was amazing!!. These people are very professional and it was obvious this was not their first catering job. Creative, clean, easy going, flexible, punctual, professional, I don't know what else to say. I don't plan on getting married again but if I did Chef Tony would be the cater. Thanks guys for a wonderful wedding.

Tony and Julie from First Fruits were amazing. All of our interactions with them were pleasant. They were very responsive easy to deal with. The only issues we had were that the appetizers were all cold while being served and the Peppered Beef Chutney was dry and tough. The Pork Loin Dianne was amazing and out of this world. Julie was extremely accommodating and very sweet.

I loved working with Tony and his team. We sampled his red velvet cake at a Pink Bridal show and knew we had to work with him! He had also partnered with a Tux company, so by using both vendors we got a free wedding cake! He was great over the phone, since I'm out of town, and was always upbeat and cheerful. He made some adjustments to the menu for us due to some dietary restrictions and was very accomodating of our vegetarian guests. Thanks Tony for the amazing meal! We're already looking forward to eating our top tier in a year!!!

It would hVe been helpful if we had known what time u were arriving to set up. By the time we ate the food was cold. The quality of food was very good but would have been better if it had be hot. The cake was fantastic. Thank you.

If this was a review of the food itself, they would get a much higher rating from me. Unfortunately, the service was so bad, it outweighed the quality of the food provided. They set up food almost an hour before guests arrived at the reception, then took it all away an hour and a half in to the reception. When my husband and I complained that guests were still eating and we had not gotten a chance to eat, they refused to put food back out. We had no food for the final 3 hours of our reception, and we were outraged. We were also disappointed with the cake. Again, it tasted great, but the quality of the decorations and icing were not what we had discussed in prior meetings. Overall: good food but not worth it!
