Steve was awesome! He’s a great emcee and DJ. Our dance floor stayed full all night and everyone had a blast! We also did a fun thing where we stayed on the dance floor and every table came up to take a picture with us. Steve made it so fun and like a challenge to have it done within one song. It was such a cool experience! We 10/10 recommend him for any event. Thanks again Steve! -

We really appreciated Steve’s approach of reading the room and being flexible with the music!
The music and speeches and vows went off without a hitch. The day before, we even had a change as to who was giving toasts AND some of the music that the wedding party was entering to, but Steve rolled with it!
The music during dinner was definitely our vibe, and the reception music kept people dancing! Mr. Brightside followed by YMCA followed by the Weeknd were weirdly perfect choices to get the ENTIRE group (older family too!) dancing and having fun and then leaving the floor for our private dance. First Coast was very affordable, especially with the photobooth and our discount from working with a coordinator from the Wedding Authority. We loved them! -

Steve was fantastic and so easy to work with. During our first conversation prior to booking him, Steve was incredibly patient and genuinely got to know our interest in music so he could tailor the music towards our taste in music. Steve took into consideration that my husband gets easily overstimulated and helped us pick a package that fit our needs. He made both of us feel so comfortable that we had zero worries related to music on our wedding day. The music on our wedding day was perfect from start to finish. I worried whether or not a lot of guests would be dancing, however, the dance floor was full up until the last song! If you are on the fence about finding a DJ, do yourself a favor and book First Coast Sound, you won't be disappointed! -

You know how people say a DJ can make or break a reception or party? They aren’t wrong, but thankfully Steve with FCS nailed it!!! He delivered an amazingly fun reception that had people up and dancing. Steve was professional, patient, and proficient! I told him what I wanted and what I didn’t want and he gave me everything I wanted! He understood what I wanted to accomplish, how I wanted things to go and he executed it beautifully! He did additional up-lighting and it truly set the ambiance that I wanted to achieve. He played everything I wanted and nothing I didn’t- which was a huge thing to me! I really can’t say enough posting things about Steve but I can tell you, you will not regret hiring him! Absolutely fabulous! I am a very very very happy bride! Thank you for making my reception exactly what I wanted it to be! -

DJ Danny was great! He played all our requests, which were many, and kept the party going! The dancing never stopped! Throughout the whole process, Steve responded quickly to all my questions, and made the entire experience easy. -

I would recommend Steve with FCS to anyone. The balance of professionalism and fun was perfect for our event. I fully trusted him to execute on the big day and knew he would kill it and he did. The dance floor was never empty (not even close) and the party didn't stop! Seriously, thank you FCS! -

Steve was exactly what we were looking for at our wedding. Even on our first conversation regarding services I felt connected to him immediately and knew he would be the DJ for us. He was professional and kept everything low stress. We had literally nothing to worry about. He followed our song requests perfectly and impressed our guests with his knowledge of music. First Coast Sound was amazing at my wedding! He kept people in the dance floor and was amazing at understanding our vision of our reception! I loved the monogram! Great in responding and answer questions as well!! I would suggest him to any bride!! -

Our DJ, Genius Entertainment, bailed on us less than a month before the wedding. We had already paid in full and had booked with them almost a year and a half out to secure our spot. They informed us they were sorry, but couldn't find a replacement, and refunded us with no explanations and a few sketchy suggestions for other guys (all of whom were booked). We panicked and went to our wedding planner, who immediately began shopping for a new DJ. Lo and behold, somehow she found First Coast, and Steve saved the day. He agreed to do it for almost the same price as Genius, despite the short notice, and drove all the way from Jacksonville to help us. Despite having never worked that specific venue before, he was very thorough, sending us all of these questionnaires and song suggestions so he could really be prepared, and even at the wedding itself, he confirmed all announcements with me before making them, which I appreciated. He read the room, anticipating when to change songs, how long to play them, what vibe to go with. He didn't have an easy task - our venue had 3 separate rooms he needed to maneuver - but Steve made it happen with a can-do attitude and enthusiasm that had even the old timers bopping along on the dance floor. He chose music that EVERYONE could dance to, and his smile was infectious. He even wished my mother a happy birthday! I could not recommend Steve highly enough - if you want a class act, this hero deserves your business. -

Steve did an amazing job DJing our wedding! He had a whole list with options for songs an a worksheet for every event of the wedding. He was very responsive with emails of any questions we had. We had specific songs we wanted for the ceremony and Steve had the exact ones we wanted! During the reception he played all the songs I wanted him to play since I put a request line on my RSVPS. When people requested a song he played it instantly! We danced all night and loved all the songs he played!
