We really loved working with First Class Entertainment. Kevin was our DJ and was amazing. He took time out of his schedule to meet with us prior to the wedding to go over details and even let us create our own reception playlist.

Amazing DJ!

Charles was amazing helping us prepare for our wedding and DJing the day of our wedding. The music suggestions packet that we were given really helped us pull out songs that everyone would enjoy in addition to a really large list of songs that me and my partner wanted played that aren't standard songs to play. We gave him the freedom to mix in songs that would help segue between songs we liked, and he did an absolutely amazing job playing the right music at the right times and sneaking in some of the more niche songs that we had in our list without disrupting the atmosphere. We got so many compliments on the music, and many people also agreed he did an amazing job.

This is all not to mention how loyally he stuck to our choice for no requests and blacklist of songs, how well he announced the transitions between the different parts of the reception, as well as how kind and enthusiastic he was about helping us. I have no complaints and Charles and First Class Entertainment was one of my favorite parts of a perfect wedding day!

Hire for your wedding!

We had the pleasure of working the First Class Entertainment (Charles) since they are the preferred DJ vendor for the Gateway Clipper. Before our wedding day, he sent us a super detailed packet laying out the music we needed to pick for bridal party walk-ins/cake cutting/specific dances/etc. He listed some popular options to help me and my husband make decisions. Charles communication was 10/10. He was very clear in all his emails and very responsive when I had a last minute bridal party change. During the wedding, he kept dinner and the night moving (which was important to me). He played the best music, played specific songs during the reception, and played any music I asked during the reception. If you don't choose First Class Entertainment for your wedding DJ, you are missing out on a great DJ!

Super Fun DJ!

Our DJ from First Class was Charles Hoffman. Charles was a great DJ for our wedding. He was fun, attentive, and made it so my wife and I never wanted to leave the dance floor all night. Most impressively, he was very flexible on the spot in playing the songs we wanted, when we wanted, and how we wanted. He even helped with non-typical DJ duties such as being in my cousin's BeReal post and helping with crowd control at the end of the night. Charles definitely helped make our wedding reception special.

Free bird took flight baby

First Class Entertainment was the BEST choice for our wedding DJ! I am so particular about the flow of a wedding and they kept it FLOWING seamlessly! They checked in with us if things were running behind and always presented us with a solution instead of just a problem, so it was very easy to say a quick, "Oh yah let's do that!". They honored our music choices while also respecting the father of the bride's song requests (a very difficult balance haha). They kept the dance floor filled the whole night! They knew exactly when to play "Shout" which was a big deal and tradition for my family. That moment did not disappoint. Also if you don't plan on ending your wedding reception with "Free Bird" I suggest you rethink that choice. It starts as a slow hold your lover song and ends with some awesome jumping up and down rocking out!!! Perfect end to a PERFECT night, all made possible by our DJ(who cut the song perfectly, we obviously didn't want the whole 9minute version). DJs are artists and when they take their craft seriously, it shows. Trust them to take you on a journey and they will. The whole night was bliss for me and my husband. A lot of people said it's hard for the Bride and Groom to actually enjoy their own wedding, and we VERY MUCH ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE! Thank you First Class Entertainment!

First class, Five star experience

Julien (Jewels) Cox surpassed every expectation we could have had for our DJ. He is a consummate professional and made our wedding better than we could have imagined. He was there every step of the way through the planning process as well as the wedding day. I would highly recommend Jewels and First Class Entertainment to any bride and groom planning their wedding. So many family and friends said to us after the wedding how amazing our DJ was. Charles, Elisa and Kevin, were simply incredible! Every detail, every question and every request was handled and taken care…we had no concerns the day of the wedding! They helped us with everything and made Noah and Haley’s Big Day perfect!! Our guests loved Kevin as our DJ, and Elisa was awesome with the Photo Booth!!

Perfect ! !

Over the years you go to weddings and always talk about the food, ceremony, cake, etc. But one thing stood out a lot more than all those to me and that was the DJ! First Class Entertainment made the ballroom light up and got everyone dancing to perfectly mixed songs on the amazing and crisp sounding sound system. I knew I HAD to have DJ Chache at my wedding. Leading up to the wedding we went over things with him to pick music, order of speeches, dances etc. All of that was super easy and stress free. Come wedding day he ran a microphone and PA for the ceremony outside our venue which was great so that everyone could hear perfect. He also DJ the happy hour (which I assume was great)

When my wife and I were introduced into the ballroom, the room shocked us. All our fridge and family clapping, the up lighting all around the room, it made it seem just right. Throughout the night Chache was on the mic keeping everyone awake and alive, without being pushy and stagnant. He really knew what he was doing. We also got a photobooth which was a big hit and we are so glad we got as we used the instant printouts as our guestbook. If you've read this far, do yourself a favor, and hire the best DJ around. He stands out among all others.

Verano Wedding 7.31.21

We had our wedding on the Gateway Clipper and Charles had that boat Rockin all night! He knew exactly what music would get our guests up and dancing. We were very responsive in communicating what we want our night to look like. He personalized the photo booth for us to have our logo on the photo strips. Charles was fantastic at playing music both on and off our music list to help keep the party going! Highly recommend Charles and First Class Entertainment!

Great choice

First Class Entertainment was the DJ service that came with our venue package, so I was nervous since I had no say in the selection, but they were excellent. DJ Julien called me, went over what kind of music we liked, and played every single song I requested for the ceremony music. He kept the dance floor filled all night with exactly the kind of music we requested. It was a perfect experience!

Masterful DJ for a night to remember!

First Class Entertainment made our wedding night an event to remember on the Gateway Clipper. Charles was our DJ and he was very thorough and helpful. He kept the flow of the night going perfectly and made a truly perfect environment for a good time. From our first interaction with him you could tell he is a true master of the art. I only had to tell him my last name once for him to continually pronounce it perfectly! (McAninch, good luck). We had overthought our music selections and with his guidance he took our list and curated a perfect playlist for entrance, dinner, and dancing! I believe I talked to him once during the night to let him know about an anniversary. The DJ makes or breaks the reception. With Charles from First Class Entertainment, your reception will be more memorable and fun than you expect!

Amazing! Wow!

I cannot rave about First Class Entertainment enough! We had a 150 person wedding at LeMont Restaurant on Mt. Washington in Pittsburgh. We were picky about the music and had very high expectations. Charles and Andrew GREATLY exceeded our expectations and were easily some of the best DJ's we've ever experienced. They were competent, professional, and knew how to get the crowd up and dancing! Almost every single person at our wedding danced the entire night - and we have pictures to prove it! Not only were they kind, fun, and engaging, but they also incorporated incredible transitions between songs. The music never stopped and the crowd didn't either! On top of this, we also booked the photo booth through First Class. I was unsure if this would be worth it but after receiving a photo album of all the photo strips from the night, I would have paid twice as much as I did (same with the uplighting). Everyone kept talking about how much fun the photo booth was and how great our DJ's were. I cannot recommend First Class enough and will definitely be using them the next time I need a DJ!!

Professional and experienced

First Class Entertainment was amazing on our wedding day! Very professional and experienced. They did a great job of incorporating our style while also using their experience to keep our guests entertained. We ended up adding lighting and a photo booth and I am so thankful we did. They gave us a photo book with all of our guests photos. We absolutely love it. And the lighting made the venue look magical. Our guests had such a great time and they were such a huge part of that! First Class Entertainment

We used Kevin B. at First Class Entertainment. He was fantastic. He was very accommodating and wonderful. He was very professional and he listened to what we wanted and the style we wanted. He checked in several times just to make sure we were ok and to see if we needed anything. He was in great contact with us. We did the uplighting package and the lights were beautifully placed. The room looked so nice. I had many guests complimenting our DJ and his assistant, Mike, who was also fantastic. Amazing DJ!!

I couldn't have gone with a better DJing company/DJ!! We worked with Paul Rice and from the very beginning of the process Paul put us at ease and was completely devoted to making sure we had the perfect DJing experience at our wedding. During the planning process Paul took time to meet with us multiple times where he walked us through each and every step, answered literally any question, and was really flexible in how the evening was going to play out. I could tell that he truly cared.
Leading up to the event he touched base with us, making sure we were 100% happy with all that was planned. I was a very stressed out bride and it was very reassuring to know that is something last minute came up it wasn't going to be a big deal to change anything.
During the reception he got everyone dancing! I mean literally everyone. Anytime I went around to talk to guests and looked at the dance floor there was a giant group dancing. He was extremely kind to all of my guests, took requests, and very warm. The night of the wedding and even months after, I got so many compliments on Paul. Like I said before, I couldn't have gone with a better DJj!

Awesome beyond expectations!

We used Kevin from First Class Entertainment! From the very moment we committed to using their services, Kevin reached out and started coordinating with us! They mailed us a super helpful info packet that helped us make decisions on what type of package we wanted, the types of music we wanted to hear, and what order we wanted the different games and dances to occur at the reception. My now-husband and I live in the state of Indiana, and we were planning the wedding from Indiana with the ceremony and reception occurring in Pittsburgh. Kevin knew all of this when we agreed to use First Class Entertainment, and he was MORE than accommodating! We did lots of communication back and forth via email, and he was always quick to reply! We were able to travel to PA once a month closer to the wedding, and he found time to meet with us around our schedule which was so awesome! He worked with our reception coordinator as well in advance to make sure he understood the space he would have available and how early he would be able to arrive to begin set up. Although we may have been very nervous the day of the wedding, the DJ was something I felt very confident about! Kevin did a WONDERFUL job announcing events during the reception, played music that kept the guests movin on the dance floor all night long! He did everything we asked for and so much more! We even had various guests ask for his company contact information because they were also very impressed by his professionalism and consistent involvement during the entire reception that kept everything flowing well! I would recommend (and have recommended) using First Class Entertainment to all my friends and family in the Pittsburgh area! You will never be disappointed by their service and dedication to making your special day the best ever!

Easiest decision of the whole wedding

Choosing first class entertainment was one of the easiest decisions my wife and I had made when planning our wedding. When getting married there can be a lot to worry about. But our dj for the night, Julien was honestly one of the biggest contributions to why our wedding went as smooth as it did and why I was never worried for even a moment that things wouldn’t go perfectly. He was friendly, accommodating and even stayed several hrs later to keep the party going. The music selection seemed like it had perfect fluidity and his charismatic personality had everyone in a great mood the entire time. No one is better then this guy or this company. I highly suggest them for any type of event. Can’t thank them enough!

The best ever!

First Class Entertainment completely went above and beyond to ensure my wedding reception was perfect! We booked both DJ services and photobooth services and we were so happy with everything!
When my mother got diagnosed with cancer before my wedding, I wanted to surprise her by playing a song my husband and I sang at a recital in college. Not only did Charles keep it a secret, he coordinated everything perfectly so she would be completely surprised! That was one thing that I will never forget about my wedding reception, and guests still ask today how we pulled that off! I highly reccomend First Class Entertainment to make your day special!

Our DJ Kevin from First Class Entertainment was exceptionally amazing!! We met him at another wedding and knew we wanted to have him at our wedding. He is professional, organized, patient and down-to-earth. Very friendly to work with and he really takes the time to listen and understand what you want for your special day. For example, my husband and I mentioned a few songs that we didn't want to miss and Kevin definitely made sure we were on the dance floor for all those songs!!! We really appreciated that from our DJ. He went above and beyond. A lot of our guest complimented Kevin.
Since our experience working with Kevin was absolutely positive, I assume any other service that is provided by First Class Entertainment would be just the same.

Such a fun party!! We went with First Class Entertainment as their services are included in the wedding packages on the Gateway Clipper. We had a really great experience. Charles was responsive and friendly and flexible to work with. He took our playlist and made an unbelievably fun evening for us, including carefully queuing up our reception entrance to the Star Trek: Next Generation theme. He also gladly customized our photo strip colors for the photo booth and they turned out great. We used the photo booth album as our guest book and we absolutely love it. The attendant at the booth was also a delight. Everything turned out perfect and everyone had a blast!! Highly recommended.

We used First Class Entertainment for our wedding DJ Services and it was phenomenal! We had Cha-Che as our DJ. He was always available by phone or email and answered any and all questions we had. He played the music we wanted, with some amazing additions I hadn't even thought of. I barely left the dance floor all night! He paced the night perfectly as well. Kevin with first class entertainment was great! Our dance floor was full the entire night and he gave the perfect amount of enthusiasm and fun! We used First Class for our October 14th wedding. We were so impressed with them as a group from day one when we met with them to get more info. We ended up using them for our DJ and Photobooth services. Charles, the owner was so responsive throughout the process leading up to the wedding--we were so thankful for this. And Andrew was such a wonderful young DJ and we could not have been happier with him. He made sure to accommodate all of our requests (even the odd ones). My Husband was so impressed with their ability to basically read our minds; like during our first dance and our parent dances, all we had to do to let them know it was time to go to cut the song (because let's be honest, those dances can be too long sometimes if you let the whole song play) was give them a look for a quick second. Amazing. I had so many compliments on the DJ and the music, and our dance floor was never empty. The music during dinner was wonderful, as well. Also, I forgot to mention that they did our uplighting--it looked fantastic (we did amber colored lighting). The Photobooth attendant was wonderful and my guests loved him, as well. It was so nice that they put all the photo strips from the night into a sturdy album for the bride & groom to take home, so you get to see all the goofy pictures your guests took all night. I would 100% recommend this company to anyone and everyone, and I really hope I get to attend another wedding where they do the entertainment so I can dance all night long! Thank you guys for being absolute superstars!!! :)

They really take care of you! My husband and I were so overwhelmed doing last minute wedding details and we couldn't decide on a few songs. We knew we didn't want the usual go to songs and wanted it to really fit our theme. They took the time to figure out what we liked and said they would help us choose. They made sure everything was perfect the week and day of. They were the only vendors that I did not stress about at all the week or day of our wedding! The peace of mind they give you, the quality of music, and overall niceness of them is well worth EVERY penny, plus. P.S. We also used their photo booth and it was AWESOME! They made the book look amazing and helped our guests come up with funny pictures when they couldn't think of any themselves.

Kevin was our DJ on 6/17/17 and he and his team were amazing. When we first met with Kevin you could tell that he really loved his job and that he just loved "love". There is no other way to explain it, he just made us feel like he would really take care of us on our wedding day. This is why we chose him. We also decided to include the uplighting, monogram service, and photobooth on top of his DJ services. We are so happy with all of the services that Kevin/First Class Entertainment provided. Due to the monogram, uplighting and the awesome light up DJ booth that they use, our venue was transformed. It really was amazing the difference in the atmosphere, the lighting is totally worth it. People also loved the Photobooth and Julian (I believe was his name) was so very kind to everyone. People used it all night long. As for Kevin and the music, you always worry that people may not dance or get hyped up when you enter. Kevin was an amazing hype man, (and said everyone's names correctly which was great, considering we had some difficult names in our group.) We will never forget walking into the room and seeing everyone waving their napkins in the air like terrible towels! As for the music, it was awesome! People were on the dance floor and partying all night long. Kevin met with us at our venue a few weeks before the wedding to make sure that the uplighting colors would be just how I wanted them and ran through our timeline/planning sheet with us to make sure everything would be perfect. Overall everyone from First Class Entertainment was fantastic. We would recommend them to anyone looking to get married. Thank you again to Kevin, Michael, Julian and Charles (who also helped through email). You guys are the best and we are so thankful that you made our wedding day a giant success. <3

There is not a single negative thing I can say about Kevin and First Class Entertainment! They DJed my sisters wedding, and when it was time to look into entertainment for our wedding, I wasn't looking anywhere else! Kevin worked closely with me to not only decide on our music selection, but we designed a monogram together, chose our uplighting shades, and one of my biggest pet peeves, making sure he had everyone's names pronounced correctly!! I highly recommend this company! You will not regret it!!

DJ Cha-Che (Charles) did a great job with our wedding on the Gateway Clipper Fleet! He worked closely with us while filling out the packet for our wedding to make sure that we had everything wanted. We also did the uplighting which definitely added something special to our reception. He had a great mix of music and kept people dancing throughout the whole night. I would definitely recommend them. The only suggestion I have is make sure you communicate with the DJ whether or not the boat will be docking throughout the night, otherwise it may not be communicated to the guests. Other than that, it was fabulous! We received so many compliments and had a blast!

While planning my wedding, I had a lot of things go entirely wrong, and I can definitely tell you where not to go. But if you're looking for a great DJ service, look absolutely no further than right here. There's a reason this is the greatest in the Pittsburgh area. Whole experience was very simple, straight forward, and relaxing, and trust me-- when you're planning your wedding, you need something simple.

Charles was excellent, and enthusiastic. Exactly what was expected. Everyone had a great time dancing!

Overall, just a wonderful experience!

Kevin was the best to work with! He was very flexible and listened to everything we wanted included for our big day! He was able to help us surprise a pair of twins first birthday and he was able to find all of the songs we wanted that we thought would be hard to get! He was so much fun and I would recommend anyone to use him and his team!

We used Kevin from First Class Entertainment as our DJ for our wedding reception and we couldn't have been happier from start to finish. We were planning a wedding from out of town, and Kevin made it easy. He replied immediately to every email, answering all of my questions and accommodating every request. When we asked for his help deciding on songs or the order of the night, he was a great resource but never pushy. He knows his stuff! We always felt that he wanted our day to be ours, and he helped us find our style. The reception was seamless and really fun--our guests went out of their way to say what a great DJ Kevin was and how much they enjoyed the music. The dance floor was full all night. We felt that we were in great hands (he told us we wouldn't have to worry about a thing and he was right) and he really is a class act. Everytime my wife brings up our wedding or we look at pictures, we immediately remind each other that our wedding was perfect in our eyes and we wouldn't have had it any other way.

As most people know or will certainly find out... wedding planning is a never ending task up until the day you actually say "I do!"

When it came time to pick a DJ for our wedding my wife does what most people do and checked out various wedding websites and everyone pretty much said First Class Entertainment was the best. So we needed to book them and we did as soon as we decided on our wedding date.

Aside from just playing the music and probably the most important role that FIrst Class Entertainment provided was keeping us on schedule and making sure everything ran smoothly and it did from start to finish.

Some additional things that I wanted to point out...

- he worked with us to find the perfect color for our uplighting... even going to the venue and testing it to let us know how it looked

- our monogram was NEXT LEVEL awesome and tons of people took pictures of it

- his assistant filmed parts of our wedding so that my cousin who was filming most of it could be part of the festivities and be included in the memories

If you've made it all the way to the bottom of this review, do yourself a favor and book them and if they aren't available, consider changing your wedding date... it's worth it.

Kevin was so wonderful from the very beginning. We met fairly early in the planning process and were very pleased with his first impression. We felt a great connection from his ability to include our needs and wants for our wedding reception. He was so professional, down-to-earth, patient, and very easy to work with. The reception was such a hit while he included everything from the more traditional dances to more personal/ heartfelt dances and songs we wanted. We recently reviewed our professional photos and a good majority of the people were out on the dance floor having a ball. We were adamant about not playing old songs like the chicken dance, and instead more modern songs with a catchy beat. He nailed the song choices with the different genres making for an incredible, memorable night. We've had multiple people tell us how professional and adaptive he was at the reception. If we could do everything over, we definitely would pick Kevin as our DJ again.

Highly recommend, two thumbs up!!! We had our wedding on 9-23-16 and we got to work with someone who truly knew our style and what we wanted. Kevin Burkholder from First Class Entertainment did the job we expected and more. He kept the wedding and music running smooth and transitioning quickly from one genre to another without making it seem awkward. The photo booth was a huge hit that couldn't have went better. They make a custom photo strip for your style and wedding and to be able to take the pictures home in an album and on a disc is awesome and memorable. But overall I would highly recommend this company especially Kevin. He met us when is was convenient for us and spoke with us on our busy schedules. It is nice to know that he truly understood we have work lives and was easy going to schedule and see our goals and dreams of our wedding come true with his help. He basically ran our reception without interruption. This company is top notch.

We absolutely LOVED working with Kevin! He really listened to us and got a sense of what music we liked and how we wanted him to emcee the evening. And he *really* listened! Here's a story: At one point late in the wedding, he played Zac Brown Band’s “Chicken Fried” — but not before sharing a quick story about how we’re a couple that hates country music but loves that song. We'd mentioned that fact off-handedly to him at our first meeting, but we had no idea that he'd remember it and mention it at the wedding! It was a cute personal touch that was totally unexpected, and our guests loved it. To be honest, they loved everything Kevin did. He kept our friends and family dancing like crazy all night long!

And he was so calm throughout the wedding process. Two weeks before the wedding, we realized that we needed a sound system for the ceremony. Kevin stepped up and handled everything for us beautifully. And he provided the uplighting for the reception, too, and it looked great!

On top of all of that: He provided a great service at a really fair price. We’d recommend Kevin and the team at First Class Entertainment to anyone — they’ll make your wedding one to remember!

First of all, I would like to say that every part of the name “First Class Entertainment” described our experience with Kevin and his team. From our first interaction with him to start our planning process, to the actual reception, Kevin was extremely open and helpful to make sure that our day was “our day”.

We decided to use them for the up lighting, DJ services, and photo booth for the reception. Kevin and his team were able set up and teared down with no issues and no distractions. Everyone who was at the wedding had a great time using the photo booth and the attendant was great and making sure everyone had great props to use and made it fun for everyone.

Kevin’s song selection was the best we have ever heard at a wedding reception and everyone we have talked to afterwards has said the same thing. You never know what to expect when you read reviews online, but Kevin and his team outdid any expectations we had and then some. The song selection was great, everyone was dancing, and he was very professional throughout the night. If you are considering a DJ for your wedding, choose First Class Entertainment. They are the best in Pittsburgh.

Me and my husband were planning our wedding from across the country so dealing with incredibly professional and helpful vendors was extremely important to us. We could not have been more pleased with First Class Entertainment and Charles (aka Cha-Che), the DJ. He guided us through the entire reception process. He also helped make sure we had an awesome photo DVD to play during the reception on the Gateway Clipper. We had very specific songs we wanted for the entrances and dancing and he made sure to acquire everything we requested! We also ordered the "uplighting" and I really wanted to have specific ambiances for the dinner and different dancing portions. He was accommodating in every way. We had no weird surprise songs, the floor stayed dancey all night, and the lighting looked fantastic. He also only spoke during the key events and was never overbearing during the night. We were extremely pleased with all of the help we got during the planning and how it all came together for a most excellent reception thanks to Cha-Che's ease and professionalism and the quality of First Class Entertainment's equipment!

This review was so easy to write. Kevin was amazing. He was so wonderful to work with. I loved how proactive he was and understanding he was during the planning process. I literally have nothing bad to say. We got tons of compliments on the music, people were dancing all night. Two weeks before our wedding I decided to add on uplighting and it was no problem and so worth it. They were such a great value too, I was nervous because they were so reasonably priced that they would be a "cheap" DJ but they were perfect. Kevin made our wedding day absolutely amazing.

First Class Entertainment handled not only the music, but also provided our uplighting. Charles was our DJ and emcee, and from the first meeting his suggestions and communications were spot-on and helpful. We weren’t sure exactly how we wanted our reception to go, since a number of traditions felt like they didn’t apply to our same-sex celebration. That didn’t deter Charles, and his recommendations helped tremendously—especially his suggestion to play the shoe game (which was hilarious during the reception!). One of our favorite services is the packet he provided that helped make sure we were on the same page as far as must-play songs (or absolutely-don’t-play songs), the order of the reception, and other important aspects of the celebration.

On the day-of, Charles read the room very well and kept the evening moving along beautifully! The dance floor was always full. He was flexible with family members and toasts, with nary a hint of feedback from the mic. We thoroughly enjoyed working with First Class Entertainment and couldn’t be happier with our experience.

From the first time I contacted them for information, through the end of my wedding reception, they were so responsive, friendly, and willing to do whatever it took to make my wedding perfect! Throughout the entire wedding, they continuously checked on me to make sure that I was pleased and see if I needed anything and they did a fantastic job of making sure that we were sticking to our timeline and everything was running smoothly. I truly feel that they made sure that everything about my reception was perfect, not just the music. They did a great job with the music though; they played a mixture of songs to ensure that ALL my guests were out on the dance floor and having a great time. I can not say enough good things about our wedding DJ. Kevin Burkholder at First Class Entertainment did an amazing job.

From the very beginning, Kevin made sure our DJ set list was tailored to our likes and dislikes. I am not one for the "typical" wedding music (very anti-disco), and gave him a large list of do-not-plays.

Before we even booked First Class Entertainment, Kevin talked to me on the phone and assured me that the music he played would be what my friends and family would want to hear and keep them dancing all night. And he succeeded!

Throughout the year before the wedding, Kevin checked in periodically to make sure I was set on what I wanted. We met in person and went over the specific VIP songs (must-plays, entrance music, first dances), as well as announcements.

He did such a great job hyping up the crowd before our entrance into the reception that they were literally cheering before the doors opened!!

Kevin also did a great job keeping a solid flow throughout the evening. I gave him specific music I wanted to hear for my dinner, and a few songs not many people had ever heard of, but they were important to my (now-)husband and I, and so he found them and played them!

A wedding DJ is extremely important, because they do make-or-break your evening. He structured everything so well; the entire night went smoothly.

Not only that, the dance party was legendary! My friends and I were literally on the dance floor for 2 solid hours without a break, because he played great songs that anyone (from college age to senior citizen) could dance to.

From the attentiveness leading up to the wedding, to the day-of presentation, I would recommend Kevin Burkholder and First Class Entertainment to any bride who wants to have a good time at her wedding, without stressing the day of about whether or not her guests will have a good time. With this DJ, they absolutely will!

My husband and I had Charles from First Class Entertainment for our DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception on the Gateway Clipper. He was very professional and so accommodating in helping us through every step of our day and making sure everything went smoothly. Charles met with us before our big day to make sure he understood everything we wanted and to make sure he was pronouncing all our names correctly. My husband is from Morocco so we did have some unique names for Charles to pronounce:)

We also did the photo booth service, which everyone loved! We had so many compliments about the photo booth from our guests. We all enjoyed it. Charles even made a customized design for our photo strips. First Class Entertainment provided props for our guests to wear for the pictures and someone from their company to manage it. The photo booth prints out 4 strips of the pictures so that each guest in the picture can have a copy. In addition, one of the strips from every picture that our guests took, First Class Entertainment put into a scrapbook for us to have so we would have a copy of all the pictures from the day. In addition, Charles made us a CD with copies of the songs from our ceremony and reception. Both of these things made very nice souvenirs of our day for us.

Charles went above and beyond in everything for us and helped make our day perfect. Everything First Class Entertainment provided from the DJ services to the photo booth were above and beyond my highest expectations. I would definitely recommend their services to everyone looking for an wonderful time.

Our wedding reception DJ was from First Class Entertainment, as they have a contract with the Gateway Clipper, which is where we held our wedding reception. I am so grateful that contract exists, as our DJ Jess kept our guests on the dance floor the entire time.
She was easy to plan with, as they provide a form for you to fill out previously that goes through each step of the reception (Entrance songs, First Dance, etc). From there, you plan together which songs you might want played and how the evening will go. They are your MC and keep things moving and know how to as well.
I married a Latino and Jess was very willing to play the Spanish songs we provided. Though some were a bit difficult to find, she played what was possible. She even threw out some of her Spanish words throughout the night.
The night flowed smoothly and had everybody rocking throughout the boat - from the first to the second deck and even on the outdoor deck. Everybody was celebrating, thanks to her music choices, as well as allowing us to have a say in those music choices. It was easy to coordinate with her over email, we met once to go over it all, and the day turned out great with her expertise and experience.
We were very grateful for her energy and willingness to make this as magical a night as it was!

Kevin Burkholder was awesome. He adapted to the type of MC we wanted him to be while at the same time he took control of the night and gave me a lot of relief. I didnt want to think about where i was supoposed to be or making sure the night ran smoothly he did it all for me and really enabled mme to enjoy my own wedding. He honored all of my requests for the night and problem solved only consulting me if he had to. Also great music selections, EVERYBODY told me how much fun they had, my guests could have danced the entire night. The floor was packed and he checked on us to make sure we were having a good time. Kevin from First Class Entertainment did a great job as our DJ for our wedding reception in July. He met with us a few weeks before the wedding at the venue to test out the uplighting options and discuss our ideas and music choices, and walked us through the whole night. We were so happy with the enthusiasm he showed when making announcements, getting people on the dance floor, and checking in with us throughout the evening to see if we needed anything. Our guests made many comments about how much they enjoyed him! We highly recommend this DJ!!

Everything was perfect! Their up-lighting they did was perfect, our wedding would not have gone as smooth or nearly as organized if it wasn't for these guys. Everyone had a great time and they are super easy to work with as we lived out of state. Would highly recommend!!!

We just got married 5.9.15. We loved everything about first cass entertainment with kevin and charles. We were lucky to have both of them attend our wedding sicne we did the photobooth package! They were awesoe from the beginning and very accommodating to our busy couple of months!! The DJ is a huge part of a wedding reception because they bring the party! I had do doubt that the dance floor would be packed from start to end, and it was! Kevin was so organized the entire night. Everything was so smooth and perfect. We have had so many compliments. I would recommend kevin and first class entertainment to anyone!!!! The photobooth was also a huge hit! Charles even came to find us at the end of the night becuse we hadn't been able to get in it! They seriously made everything so stress free and that has a lot to do with the great relationship you build with them while working with them. They are great, genuine men who do a phenomenal job!!!

First Class Entertainment was such a wonderful company to work with. Kevin was such an amazing DJ and kept the party going the entire night. My sister and I had a double wedding which was made things a little more complicated but Kevin went above and beyond to make sure the night was perfect. He was so helpful throughout the entire process and made sure every little detail was exactly what we wanted. I will definitely recommend him to anyone in need of a DJ!!!!! He also did an excellent job with our uplighting! I also met Charles on the day of our wedding when he helped out with their photo booth which was a hit. Everyone was such a pleasure to work with and very accommodating to all our needs.

Chache is awesome! He is very thorough before the wedding planning everything so he really gets to know you. The day of you will feel very comfortable knowing he will keep everything going smoothly.

I recommend the photo booth as well, they had a scrap book ready for me at the end of the night which is a nice bonus since you won't get to see your photographers pics for a little while.

Kevin was really wonderful!!! He met with us several times prior to the wedding and was easy to talk to and very congenial. He really put forth a ton of effort to ensure that he was doing exactly what we were asking him to do. He even went above and beyond by visiting the venue several times prior to the wedding and taking pictures of possible lighting options for us. Kevin did the music before the ceremony, during the ceremony, before the party and during the party. Every part of what he did was fantastic. He paid close attention to our requests and then used his knowledge of music to supplement our requests with great music. I wanted a party where everyone danced and Kevin had our guests on the dance floor immediately! Furthermore, Kevin was extremely classy. I've been at weddings where the DJ somehow manages to make the wedding feel a little cheesy - Kevin did the opposite of that! He was really wonderful!!! I would highly recommend him to anyone who asked.

First class entertainment was wonderful to work with! Charles and Kevin were fantastic! After meeting with Kevin for a brief meeting, he knew exactly what we wanted our music selection to be like and He really kept the party going! Kevin took away all of my worries and he kept the flow of the reception going. we would highly reccommend them!

First Class Entertainment, and Cha-Che more specifically, was everything we were looking for in a DJ and more. He made our special day better than we could have ever imagined. From walking us through the introductions, to playing the perfect song for the last dance, Cha-Che was amazing. He played the perfect mix of music the entire night (Sinatra & Buble for dinner, some polkas for a few of the older crowd, group dance songs to get a lot of the kids involved, and just about every song that we requested). It was almost as if he was sensing the energy in the room and playing the perfect song time after time. If anyone ever ask me who to go to for any kind of DJ service, it's going to be First Class Entertainment.

My new husband and I had Charles from first class entertainment be our DJ for our reception on the Gateway Clipper. He was so accommodating to our needs and made everything so special! We left it up to him to make the music selections for the night and he rocked at it! Everyone loved the music and danced the night away. The uplighting he set had the mood spooky and fun since the wedding was on halloween. We also did the photo booth which was a great hit! They did a fabulous job at everything and made our day become perfect! I would definitely recommend their services to everyone looking for an amazing time. They are very professional and come prepared.

We had DJ Jess from First Class Entertainment and she was wonderful to work with. She helped us get through the planning stages and was very flexible and open to any and all idea and even brought some excellent ones too. Definitely recommend to all friends and family.

Great dj!! ( we had for our wedding on the gateway clipper) one mix up with our ring bearer not being introduced. But possibly could have been because our flower girl was only 10 months? Very easy to work with and helpful!!

I can't say enough good things about Charles. He is extremely professional and has a great sense of humor. There were a few songs we wanted but had no idea the names. He knew immediately what they were and added them to our play list. We had a few tough last names in our wedding party and he is so precise that he got every single name correct. We had our wedding on a boat and he made the entire wedding go smoothly and everyone danced the entire time and just raved about him. He loved our ideas but, with his knowledge and experience, had some ideas of his own which made our wedding absolutely perfect. We will definitely use him again in the future. Look no further, Charles is the one you want!

Charles was extremely professional and ready for anything and everything we asked. He went above and beyond in everything for us and I felt very confident in his ability to make our day go off without a hitch and made all transitions of the day very smooth. I have seen wedding DJs in the past get names wrong, lose the dance floor, etc., but none of this happened at our wedding! He checked with me before announcements to verify all names were pronounced correctly and everything they provided from the DJ services to the photo booth were above and beyond my highest expectations.

Not only was the service extremely professional, but he was also very personable and accommodating, helping us through every step of our evening. The whole event went off without a single mishap due to the attention to detail First Class Entertainment brought to the table. Very impressive service. If you are in the Pittsburgh area and want to make sure your night is memorable and fun, there is no better DJ to hire.

From the moment we interviewed with Jess (from First Class Entertainment) over the phone, we knew we had to book her for our wedding--her personality shined through so clearly. Not only was her resume and experience impressive, but her down-to-earth nature and professionalism made it a breeze to work with her for both the ceremony music as well as the reception. At the wedding, Jess's selection of songs was spot-on throughout not only dinner but also throughout the night as my guests danced the night away! Additionally, her DJ philosophy is that she directs attention always to the couple rather than making it her own sideshow event, thus ensuring that your night is all about you and filled with applause, smiles, fun, and celebration! (Plus she's really good at covering for you between moments...like when I had a slight wardrobe malfunction removing my shoulder straps before our first dance, it took a few moments to undo, so Jess bought me some time to make the moment not awkward, thanks Jess!) From beginning to end DJ Jess was on the same page as us! We weren't the typical couple that said we will let the DJ play whatever they want, because its just a wedding. We love our music and knew exactly every song we wanted played at our wedding reception. She loved the idea that we were so involved in the music and knew our taste once we ran off the few first songs. She played every song we wanted and we wanted over 50 songs heard that night. My husband and I were on the dance floor the whole night and so were our guests, I have never seen that happen before, all thanks to Jess! She was absolutely the best DJ I ever have known! Super friendly and great personality! She deserves 20 stars!

We had heard about Kevin from first class entertainment from our photographer, they had worked events together before. Us choosing Kevin was such an easy choice. The price was perfect for our budget. He was easy to get in contact with, also worked very well with us from
setting appointments, confirming everything from A-Z and basically did everything we asked to make our day that much more perfect! He was willing to meet with us at the reception site to make sure we were all on the same page for setting up and lighting if need be. Which was a great gesture if you need that. He kept it organized for us :)

We had a family member play guitar at our ceremony, he also took care of the music. Kevin had offered to come and play music for us if we needed him to.

Played special little songs that not many knew but were very special to us. Kevin made our evening so special and very easy to enjoy our night. People that attended our reception said how great of a job he did. I would recommended him to anyone who asked!

Thank you again Kevin for being apart of our special day!

My husband and I were so lucky that our venue (the Gateway Clipper) uses First Class Entertainment. Given that my husband is a musician with one of Philadelphia's largest entertainment companies, he was very skeptical of hiring a random DJ at first... Once we met Charles (Chache), we both knew from his professionalism and character that we had absolutely nothing to worry about.

Leading up to the big day, he helped us narrow down some song selections, let us send him some shortened versions of songs for dances, and even sent us a new information packet when we lost ours. On the day of our wedding, he was (non-invasively) there to help us stay on track, answer any questions we had, and flexible enough to make any extra announcements we asked him to.

As far as the music is concerned, we gave him a few songs we liked for dinner and let him take it from there. His selection was perfect, even for the two picky musicians that we are. Chache had some great unique versions that gave new life to the borderline-overplayed songs that every DJ/band plays and our guests had a blast dancing to all of their requests.

If you're looking for a DJ anywhere near Pittsburgh - stop looking and call charles!!

Charles was our DJ for the big day on the Gateway Clipper and he was awesome. Our guest are still talking about the great music that he played. Looking at the pictures I must have loved it too because I was out on the dance floor all night. These guys are so professional and I felt at easy as soon as I met them. Kevin played music at our ceremony and he was a pleasure to work with and was extremely prompt at getting back to me. Planning a wedding the last thing you want to worry about is the music and the flow of the evening...hire these guys and you will not have to worry about it!!

We really had an awesome experience with First Class Entertainment. Kevin did the music for my wedding as well as my reception. He really took charge, which allowed me to sit back stress free on my day!

Kevin really listened to my husband's and I's wants. He exceeded my expectations. The dance floor was completely full from the first song that was played until the very last song. My husband still hasn't stopped talking about how impressed he was!

Not only was Kevin professional and fun- I chose to do up lighting through them. It looked amazing! I got many compliments on the lighting in the room.

I told Kevin what I wanted and he sure delivered. I have to complaints and will recommend him to any future brides!

Kevin from first class entertainment was the best DJ I have ever experienced. We never left the dance floor, except to use the restroom and visit tables. He played everything we asked him to, he even got a generator so we could have a mic and music at the outdoor ceremony. Our reception was at the fez and he did the staircase presentation. Only heard great things from the guests and my family and we would recommend kevin and First Class Entertainment to anyone for any event.

We had our wedding this past July. I it was the happiest day of my life and it was thanks to our DJ. Once we booked we received our wedding packet which was extremely helpful. We met our DJ a month before the wedding and he made us feel so worry free because he walked us through the entire night. He offered so many great suggestions on things we were thinking about doing and what order to do them. We my husband and I walked into the reception hall, we were speechless by how beautiful the room looked with the uplights and our monogram was amazing. We had so many compliments from our guests about our reception as everyone was leaving and still get them to this day. First Class Entertainment did an outstanding job making our special day a memorable one.

Our wedding event was a fun, wonderful night. A large part of that was because of the mood provided by Firs class Entertainment and DJ Cha-Che. He worked well with our wants and needs through both the ceremony and reception. We had the laid back party that we wanted; lots of fun and dancing had by all.

First Class Entertainment went above and beyond to make our day perfect. Kevin B. handled all of the details, and took time to meet with us to discuss the type of feel we wanted for our reception. He even found us a screen to show a slideshow video on, as well as coordinated the showing of the video (which wasn't even supposed to be his job). He went above and beyond to make our day as stress-free for as possible. His involvement was a huge part of why our reception was such a success! Thank you First Class Entertainment!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars, these guys are that good. I truly cannot say enough kind words about Charles and his team, as nothing would do them justice. From the moment I chose First class entertainment and started planning to the very last song of the night (everyone, including me, the bride, were chanting “one more song!!”) they made everything so easy and fun. The lighting and custom monogram projected on the wall were beautiful. I was very anxious about the lighting being right, but Charles and Kevin worked with me to make sure it was just right. My dance floor was PACKED all evening. Nobody wanted to stop once the music started. Not to mention the top of the line photo booth that my guests enjoyed all evening long. Plus they give you a sweet keepsake book of each and every photo that all of my guests took. My sister is getting married next summer and we’ve already booked with first class again because we couldn’t imagine another DJ doing it. Once again, I HIGHLY recommend first class entertainment if you’re looking for true professionals who know how to throw the party of the year!!!

Everything that First Class Entertainment did was great! We enjoyed their professionalism and how easily everything went!

One note--make sure the sound for the DJ is turned up enough so that guests on the upstairs floor of the boat we were on could hear. Not really an issue in a banquet hall, but sometimes people didn't know what was going on.
