  Wedding Photography

  Shaun did our wedding photos and he is absolutely amazing! He is so creative, unique, and made our ideas come to life. He is super laid back and attentive to what you want. He makes you feel relaxed and comfortable which is important on your wedding day. I 100% recommend Firm Grip Photography. You can’t go wrong and you will not be disappointed!

  Hands down best photographer in Indiana!!

  We loved Shaun! He is an awesome laid back guy. He made the wedding process fun and easy for us. Shaun exceeded our expectations and really went above and beyond. Right from the day we first met him, he made us feel very comfortable. We did not have a wedding planner, so Shaun quickly helped us draw an outline of the day. He made sure to be in touch with us through out the span of six months.
  When compared to the plethora of wedding photographers one can find online, it might seem that Shaun falls on the expensive (subjective) side but when you look at the quality of work and amount of dedication he puts in, it all makes sense. You would not be able to find a photographer as creative as him for what he charges. He is excellent on the field, capturing all the right frames and all the right moments, even if it means for him to position himself in an awkwardly/risky fashion or run from one side to the other, he will make sure all your vision comes true. He is very conscious about his subjects, because not everyone is a great poser, so he will adapt and adjust depending on the situation to give you the best result possible. He never made us feel rushed, always listened to our concerns/ideas, discussed the picture he took immediately with us whenever required.
  We had an excellent experience with Shaun. On our wedding day, Shaun was with us right from 9am to 2am the next day, trying to capture as much photos as he could for us. After we were officially done taking pictures around midnight, we decided to go out and eat and Shaun gladly accepted our invite to join us. To our surprise he even captured those unique and unforgettable moments of us at a Waffle House in our wedding attire :)
  If there is one thing you want to takeaway from this review, I wound say Shaun is a very innovative, intelligent and highly skilled photographer, a wonderful human being. We are absolutely glad to have chosen him above anybody else in Indiana as our wedding photographer.

  Wedding pictures are such an important part of getting married so we wanted to find the perfect photographer. We met with Shaun and knew from the first meeting he would do a great job! His pictures are beautiful, his fun energy is contagious, and he is very professional. I had SOO many family members give us compliments on how awesome he was at the wedding!

  Shaun made the day of our wedding so incredible!! He was with us from the beginning of our day until even after the wedding was over. He makes everyone feel so comfortable and is literally capturing every moment. We have been so pleased with his work! We cannot wait to get prints of our favorites! One thing to realize though is that he takes so many photos which require a lot of editing, so we waited over 3 months for the photos. Regardless, we are so excited to keep these photos as a lasting memory of our special day forever!

He and his team are a pleasure to work with, they take the time to understand what you really want, they're fun and laid back in a VERY professional way. I mean who wants someone with no personality to photograph the best day of your life?! Even though we were in a bit of a time crunch, he still made sure every picture on my list was taken in the amount of time given!   Shaun and his partner were outstanding. They were both intentional and flexible the whole day and went above and beyond to capture every peice of our wedding. They had great communication with us to make sure everything was good. It was also nice to see a picture here and there! Both were so fun, kind, and genuine.

I felt like we really got to know him and he became more than a photographer to us. His personality calmed me on my big day(much needed). He even got my husband to smile(he hates pictures ha).   We originally chose Firm Grip because they were the recommended photographer for the Avon Wedding Barn. After meeting Sean and seeing his photos , we were so excited to work with him. Sean took fantastic engagement photos and blew us away with our wedding photos. He and an assistant worked with my husband and I for over 16 hours on our wedding day. They both made ourselves, wedding party and guests feel at ease. They were fun, personable and so creative. Sean was responsive to the photos that we had in mind and had many fantastic ideas for additional photos. We enjoyed the time that we spent with Sean and would recommend Firm Grip to everyone. He helped make our day fantastic and provided us beautiful photos that we will always cherish.

  Shaun is extremely creative and he is very good at what he does. He is professional and organized. He met with us a couple of times before the wedding so he could capture our personalities.   Shaun Fredrickson does outstanding work. When my now husband and I were looking at different photographers for our wedding, we both loved the work done by Firm Grip Photography. After meeting with Shaun a couple of times we knew that this was the company for us. He is very creative and so much fun to work with. My husband and I were so impressed when he said that he would meet the guys at the golf course at 6am and then come to my hair salon to ensure that he captured the fullness of our special day. When he says full day photography he means full day which is nearly impossible to find at his skill level. Not only were my husband and I blown away with our experience, so were our guests. Since our wedding Shaun with Firm Grip Photography has done photography for 3 of our friends and their now spouses. This is truly an exceptional company, and we have found our photographer that we will use for every major life event.

My husband and I were so impressed when he said that he would meet the guys at the golf course at 6am and then come to my hair salon to ensure that he captured the fullness of our special day. When he says full day photography he means full day which is nearly impossible to find at his skill level. Not only were my husband and I blown away with our experience, so were our guests. Since our wedding Shaun with Firm Grip Photography has done photography for 3 of our friends and their now spouses. This is truly an exceptional company, and we have found our photographer that we will use for every major life event.

  We had originally hired a different photographer who bailed on us - but Shaun was absolutely amazing and didn't hesitate to fill in. He by far exceeded our expectations, was attentive, helpful, and absolutely made our day. He also suggested a videographer, which we ended up utilizing, as well. All of our pictures, videos, and memories from that day were made possible with the help of Shaun. He is by far one of the best photographers to work with and is incredibly creative! He also offered amazing prices and worked with our budget!!!
