The country club is wonderful, great view and responsive staff. Bethany was thorough and extremely helpful from beginning to end. The entire reception was seamless and we were well taken care of from the start. I would not hesitate to recommend to others seeking the same country club atmosphere and aesthetic.

Firethorne Country Club c was a beautiful venue for our daughter’s wedding. The exterior and interior are truly lovely spaces. The St. Andrew’s room had all the elements that were important to the bride and groom. The room had a beautiful fireplace and accommodated a nice size dance floor. The venue was perfect for the wedding and the food was top notch. Pam, the event coordinator made sure that all the elements of the wedding and ceremony went smoothly. She oversaw all the details on the day of the wedding. We are so happy to recommend Firethorne for an awesome wedding reception.

We knew Firethorne Country Club was going to be our wedding venue as soon as we walked in! The venue is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The space offers an amazing outdoor area with a magnificent staircase in the back. It was a great combination with the indoor bar area for our cocktail hour. Pam, the event director, and her team were amazing throughout the whole process from planning to the big day itself. Everything at the club is done top notch and you are treated like family. Pam was very responsive and accommodating to everything we wanted and needed. She is super friendly, professional, and easy to work with. We always knew we were in good hands and truly never had to worry about something getting done! Pam knows what she is doing and will definitely take some of the pressure of the big day away.

Firethorne Country Club was an absolutely awesome venue for my daughter's wedding. The exterior is beautiful! The patio, St. Andrew's room, and dance floor allow great flow for a reception. Pam, the event coordinator, was very professional and responsive. And the food was excellent! Many of our guests reported what a great time they had at the reception.

There are so many great things to say about this venue, including the staff, the food, and the ease of everything!! To start, the venue is gorgeous inside and out and the layout was perfect for us!! We loved how our guests could enjoy dinner and dancing in one area, bar and photo booth in another, and also be able to enjoy the beautiful evening on the balcony. Next, the staff is amazing! Pam is beyond awesome and we were so lucky to have her working with us. To be honest we had little to no idea what we were doing and she set us at ease and formulated the entire timeline which we were grateful for! On the day of we got to sit back and enjoy our day, Pam and the staff did everything. A big thank you for their quick action regarding the ceremony space which was a tad squishy from all the rain we’ve had. We didn’t even have to mention it and Pam had already ordered turf to put down to make our guests more comfortable and to make it so my dress would stay clean. We were blown away by this! We’re laid back so we would of made it work but she went above and beyond! The other members of the staff were also fantastic! Everyone was so nice and helpful and our guests loved the friendly bartenders! We can’t reiterate enough how much we appreciated everyone! Finally, the food!! Everyone is still talking about the prime rib and the appetizers! A lot of bridal blogs and such mention that the bride and groom typically don’t get to eat much of their food, but not here!! Thanks to the staff we ate a ton and had a wonderful dinner together as newlyweds!
Overall this place is awesome, Pam is amazing, and my husband says he wants to “do it all over again because it was so much fun” which basically tells you all you need :).

We had our wedding at Firethorne this May and it was great! The entire event ran smoothly and all of the staff were very attentive and professional. Pam, who coordinates the weddings, was amazing thru the entire process. She was always prompt to answer emails and my many many questions the month leading up to the wedding. She also eliminated my need to hire a day of coordinator because she runs the event the day of. You get a lot of value for your money at this venue and we have gotten many many compliments on the food. The venue is also beautiful so you do not need to spend a lot on decor, etc. Would highly recommend adding Firethorne to your possible venue list.

Firethorne Country Club was absolutely fabulous! It is a gorgeous venue and everyone we encountered was very friendly and eager to serve. Their event coordinator Pam took care of every single detail and the entire day ran flawlessly. The food was delicious and quite a few people commented on how good dinner was and that they went back for seconds. We can't believe how lucky we were to have had our wedding there. It was so perfect and I highly recommend it. Our wedding day was just perfect and fulfilled all of our hopes and dreams.

I am in still in awe of how perfect Firethorne was for our reception. I knew that it would be difficult to plan a wedding while finishing up college a few hours away, but Pam made the experience a breeze! The venue included everything we could have ever wanted (in-house coordinator, appetizers, main course, champagne toast, bar service, waiters, silverware/place settings, easels/lanterns/candelabras/other decorations, etc.), and they set up and tore down for us! Pam had worked previously with almost all of our vendors, and she made sure that the evening went by without a single hitch. The food was ridiculously good (our friends are still raving), and the Christmas decorations that were already set up made it so that any flowers we added were just icing on the cake! I know we're biased, but this was absolutely the best wedding my husband and I have ever been to. We can't wait to recommend Firethorne to all of our friends!!

My husband and I had our wedding at Firethorne Country Club and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing staff! Their venue coordinator, Pam, is THE BEST. Leading up to the wedding she was always available to answer questions about the space and the planning process. Having her on site the day of the wedding to organize all of the set up, keep everyone on time (staff, vendors, and wedding party) and even tell us when to walk down the aisle made for the most stress free day I have ever had! I cannot think of a single thing that slipped by her, and it was so nice to have someone handling all of the questions that normally would be getting asked of the bride. The rest of the Firethorne staff was also incredibly friendly, professional, and fun, and the food was AMAZING. Firethorne Country Club is definitely the place to book if you want a beautiful and stress free wedding!

My husband and I were married at Firethorne on October 15th. It was an absolutely magical day. Everything ran so smoothly because of Pam, the event coordinator, and Justin. They worked hard to make sure everything went off without a hitch. And every single person who worked at Firethorne that day was kind and incredibly helpful, from the servers to the bartenders to the kitchen staff. You really can't ask for a better venue than Firethorne. It was absolutely beautiful and makes for incredible pictures. To top it off, the food is fantastic. We have received nothing but compliments from friends and family who attended our wedding. I would recommend this place to anyone planning a wedding in Charlotte. I felt it was reasonably priced for everything that was included. It was also so nice to not have to worry about hiring vendors for food and drinks. Thanks again to Pam and her wonderful team at Firethorne! Our day went perfectly because of you all!

I got married at Firethorne on September 3rd and getting married there was a dream come true! Pam Hart the event coordinator is what really made this venue so special. She takes care of everything and you can tell she wants the best for all of her brides. The club was recently renovated and it is stunning! The food was outstanding and one of the first things guests mentioned about the reception. This country club isn't stuffy and really makes non-members feel welcome. I always dreamed of a country club wedding and I couldn't have picked a better place! I owe them a huge thank you for exceeding my expectations and making my wedding day the best!

I am a very picky person. Looked at several venues, liked the dance floor already at the club as well as the set-up. Guests on both sides and the bar being real as well as the outside patio. The club was getting ready to renovate (one being the chairs). I was assured they
Would have them by my son and daughter-in-laws wedding date April 23, 2016. I was getting concerned when February arrived and the chairs were still not in. I spoke with Rene the club
Manager. He assured me that if the chairs were not in they would rent them for me. They stood by their word.

Believe me, you don't need a wedding coordinator at the reception that day. Everything was absolutely perfect the way that I wanted it. She worked with The Flower Diva who is amazing as well. I did not worry at all, I knew they would set up all the special ways I wanted. They did!! The staff was very friendly, and accommodated the guests well. The chef, who I am
Partial to because he is Italian is amazing. The appetizers and food were delicious. I was told by some people that was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. I can honestly say, no glitches at all. The only glitch was with some guests not showing up and Pam handled

Firethorne was a perfect spot for our perfect day! Pam was beyond perfect from the first meeting to seeing the reception through. She helped set everything up and made sure to get every little detail that I wanted. Their food is awesome. it's not typical bland food. The guys played golf that morning and there is a big room for the girls to get ready. The country club has a lot of accessories which is a huge money saver. They have chair covers, sashes (numerous covers), table decorations, easels, etc... The outside area for the ceremony is perfect. The stairs allow you to make a grand entrance. Pam comes to the rehearsal to make sure everything is ready for the wedding. I can't say how perfect our day was and how awesome Pam was. I would recommend Firethorne without any reservation to anyone! Firethrone, Flower Diva and Juliet Photography are a power team and are perfect! They made my day more than perfect!

Pam Hart, the chef, the bartender, and every member of staff here at Firethorne did an exemplary job on this wedding reception! The guests we're more than happy, as was the bride ! The food was delicious, the room was beautiful, and the drinks were creative and tasty
(Kudos on the fresh watermelon martinis)!
The only disappointment of the evening had nothing to do with Firestone Country Club but a company called 'Royal Rides' Angela stated she could not find the driver and then suddenly she conveniently stopped answering her phone. The Bentley was a 9 hour no show, no apologies and no replacement car of any kind!

Pam did a fantastic job. She saw to every detail and each was carried out flawlessly! The reception was gorgeous. She even set up table florals and candelabras (Big Savings). She set up a power point slide show (done beautifully) ! (you must bring in some of the items for this so check) We were able to add our own choice of wines within the same price point. We did Watermelon Martinis as a specialty drink.(delicious) She displayed our pictures. Placed all the orchids out beautifully. Just a pleasure to work with. You will NOT be disappointed!

This venue took my breath away. When I first got engaged, I had visited over 30 potential venues... and none of those locations seemed to be what I was looking for. Then, I visited my 31st potential venue. FireThorne Country Club. I knew that this was the venue for me. Even, my fiance (now Husband).... was excited about this venue. We met up with Pam Hart. There's only one word to sum up Pam..... AMAZING!
Not only was my husband and I in love with the venue, but we absolutely loved Pam. Pam was so flexible and her customer service is the best that I had ever experienced in life. I was a bride that had a million and one questions, and Pam was always responsive. I thought that I was the only wedding that they had planned all year. At least that's how you feel. She allowed me to make tweaks to the meal. Speaking of the meal.... The cocktail hour and reception food was soooo good. I am getting hungry just thinking about it now. lol

I plan on putting a gallery of pictures from the wedding on to a website. Brides, feel free to email me thru wedding wire and i would be more than happy to show you my setup for the wedding.
My wedding was the most magical day ever. FireThorne County Club and Pam Hart (and my husband) were the key components in making that day special!!!!

I can not say enough good things about Pam and her staff at Firethorne. This was the 5th and last venue we visted while trying to decide where to get married. On our way out, we both said this was it, even though we had more appointments for other venues. We came back two more times with our familys and Pam did tours for them and answered any questions they had.

I not only had my wedding ceremony and reception at Firethorne, but they also did my bridal shower, and rehearsal dinner. The food was amazing each time and the service was excellent. Pam remembered things that I liked and made sure to have them ready for each special occasion. We dropped off all the wedding day decorations before the rehearsal and Pam ran the show from there. She is amazing and makes the whole experience seamless.

Firethorne was a great venue to have a wedding. It has great views for pictures, nice interior, and the staff was very accomodating. Barbara Nifong went above and beyond, she made everything run so smooth and made sure everything was done before everyone arrived. We had tons of compliments on the food. Overall we were very happy we chose this venue.

We did some intense research on wedding reception venues in and around Charlotte. Firethorne was the clear winner in terms of 'best value'. The venue itself stands alone in terms of pure beauty being set on a nice golf course with incredible brick/stone exterior. The food was well above average and we are still getting compliments (3 weeks after the wedding) about how great the food was. The best thing was the price that was paid was reasonable, compared to every other venue. Lastly, Barbara Nifong, the wedding coordinator, went above and beyond the call of duty in every regard - from planning, to decorations, to lending us a golf cart to exit the wedding (with a "just married" sign), she put her heart into ensuring our wedding was fabulous. Many people have told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to and we have Barbara to thank for this. We would highly recommend Firethorne to anyone considering their wedding there. You will not be dissappointed.

Great venue for our outdoor wedding. The wedding planner was great and very helpful/on top of things. I would recommend this place to have your wedding. We had the ceremony outside and the reception right up the stairs inside. The reception area is great and their food was excellent!!

I exhausted plenty of reception sites in the Charlotte area, before I finally found Firethorne Country Club in Marvin. At first I thought it would be to far of a drive but the location is absolutely beautitul and I was thrilled to find it was only minutes from our church. Barbara, the wedding coordinator, was fantastic, from the moment I spoke to her on the phone I felt as though she and I had been friends forever. She was wonderful, answering all my questions and sitting down with us on several ocassions to discuss plans and ideas. The location, the building, the service, the people, the food were fantastic. Several of my guests have mentioned to me that they have never been to a more perfect wedding than ours. They loved the facility and they keep raving about our food! I can not recommend this place enough, it was wonderful!!!!

My husband and I got married at Firethorne Country Club - in the outside area, and worked with Pam to book and plan our wedding. I cannot express how relieved I was when I realized that Pam wasn't just booking the space for us, but she was actually our event helper - she ran us through the rehearsal, the day of she handled queuing up the pastor, the DJ, the people walking down the aisle, me - all of it! I didn't know anything about weddings and the fact that Pam handled all those little, important details saved me so many hours of worrying. By the time the wedding was over, she was like a friend we'd known forever.

The space itself is beautiful. We picked Firethorne because I fell in love with the outside structure and look of the club; they also had a back-up plan for rain which was very important to me. The inside area where the reception took place was also amazing - the big ceilings and openness lent it a grace in and of itself, so we didn't really bother decorating the room itself and focused on just the tables.

The food was very good as well, I got the chicken and made sure I got to eat it!

It also doesn't hurt that the groom (and some of his friends) can golf at the private country club the Friday before the wedding - that was a big selling point for my husband.

I am so glad we got married here, and so thankful for Pam and all of the staff who made our day wonderful!

We were had our reception at this venue and couldn't have better things to say about Pam Hart and the entire staff at Firethorne Country Club. The reception area is fantastic and will accommodate a large quantity of guests. The pricing is better than other country clubs in the area.
