Great wedding entertainment!

Thank you so much to Ron and his assistant for helping make our wedding so great! Ron was very professional and thorough throughout the planning leading up to the wedding and was very good with his communication throughout the whole process. He did a great job with the music, and was good about trying to find what songs got people out on the dance floor the most. He was very responsive to our song requests throughout the night, and made sure our “must play” songs were included! He was also very good about trying to keep the schedule straight and keep us on time. And I really appreciate how flexible he was when he found out the cocktail hour was in a different location than where he was going to set up for the reception, and he made it all work!

Best DJ Ever!

Ron is an amazing DJ and person, we booked him for our star wars themed wedding and he went above and beyond!! Even played star wars themed music while we gathered for the ceremony to set the mood, 10/10 would recommend!

Absolutely amazing!

Ron was amazing. He listened to our requests and asked thoughtful questions to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. He was able to perfectly
blend both our American and Latin cultures together seamlessly and the dance floor was packed the whole time! He was also very personable and interactive which we loved! All and all Finest Sounds was a top notch DJ company and we would gladly use them again for other events and we highly recommend them!

Great Wedding DJ

Hired Ron after our venue recommended him as one of their top choices. Our dance floor was filled all night and he did a great job balancing our very diverse audience (classics, slow songs, r&b, contemporary, and afrobeats). He honored our asks, was super considerate about working with the many requests our guests threw at him last minute (but still used his expertise to decide what would make sense for the crowd), and helped us throughout the process so we got exactly what we envisioned. He will send you documents/surveys about your timeline, music choices, entrances, names, etc. He made sure to get the correct pronunciations of all of the wedding party members and executed the announcements perfectly. The music you provided for our ceremony really set the tone and made me cry before I even got down the aisle. Thanks for helping us celebrate our special day!

Great time with DJ Ron!

Ron was a great DJ for us....and he will tailor your wedding run-of-show based on both his experience, but also on preferences of the couple. It was a great combination. We also did a few twists during our reception and he was happy to oblige and made it happen. Would recommend him to our friends getting married in the future!

Great DJ and great service

Ron was fantastic. He was easy to communicate with, and made sure that all of our wishes were met on our wedding day. He worked with us on creating a great timeline, and followed it perfectly, so we didn't have to worry about it at all during the night. Ron kept the entire ceremony and reception on track and on time, played all the songs we asked him to, hit the vibe we were going for just right, and played requests from our guests quickly. He was kind, helpful, and easy to work with, and we would recommend him to anyone searching for a wedding DJ.

Ron was amazing. The perfect guy for our wedding. He is super professional yet a blast at the same time. He takes great pride in his work. And his attention to detail! OMG. Amazing. Amazing DJ!

Ron is an amazing choice if you want a DJ who is accommodating, professional and most of all, fun! He made the entire day run smoothly with the music during the ceremony and the reception. He was even able to set it up so my wife could do an impromptu performance at the end of the night! Could not recommend him and Finest Sounds Entertainment enough!

Had our wedding guests dancing all night!

Ron was amazing! He had ALL our wedding guests dancing all night, including our oldest relatives! Ron was super easy to work with and very responsive. We got so many compliments on how fun our wedding was, and we attribute a lot of that to the atmosphere Ron created.

AMAZING! Highly recommend & a wonderful experience!

Amazing time

We hired Ron to DJ at our wedding. He was very communicative in a timely response in between his gigs. He is very flexible and adaptive in terms of the content of our schedule and time wise. We left a lot of music selection to the DJ's recommendation and it turned out great!
He kept the flow consistent from ceremony to cocktail hour then to the reception and dancing and exiting. He was involved perfectly and communicated back to us to make sure it was exactly what we wanted.
His prices are competitive and offers military discount.

Ron is a true professional and one amazing DJ! I've known him for a number of years through local karaoke nights, so when it came time to tie the knot I knew exactly who to turn to! He kept our guests entertained through the evening with several diverse styles of music that appealed to the equally diverse group we had. Ron was on top of all of our requests and pulled them off without a hitch, including conducting a "Bohemian Rhapsody" singalong (because who doesn't know every word?), doing the Time Warp (again!), and working with my uncle who sang our combined father/daughter and mother-in-law/son-in-law dance. I would highly recommend Ron and his "Finest Sounds" for any special event!

Ron was great to work with. Very responsive and made sure everything went smoothly for our August wedding. He provides a form to request specific songs or genres and also worked in requests we had during the wedding.

Ron was one of the best investments we made for our wedding. His years of experience, professionalism, and flexibility was put to the test with our wedding venue. Ron did everything we asked of him and more, which was no small feat considering the challenges and the share size that our wedding venue presented. Ron was asked to provide DJ services for seven and a half hours total: Includes a pre-ceremony cocktail hour, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception party, and sparkler send off! On top of everything else, his light show was amazing also!
We are thankful for Ron and Janete for not only keeping the everything flowing, but also helping us stay sane during all the stress of the planning process leading up to the event, and during the wedding itself. We would highly recommend Ron not only based on his excellent DJ services, but also for his great and fair pricing as well.

Ron was amazing. He was better than we could've hoped. His great voice and personality kept the party going all night long and really helped keep our wedding on schedule. He was also flexible in our lead up to our wedding. His involvement with the crowd was perfect, and not overbearing. The sound system sounded so great, better than other DJ's I've heard at friends weddings. Seriously Ron, thanks for such a great night!

What can we say.... Ron was more excited about our wedding than we were! And his enthusiasm payed off, by creating a playlist that got folks dancing and people having fun. Of all our wedding vendors, he was the most responsive, despite our own delays on finalizing our song selections. He was professional and attentive to our whims, able to roll with last minute changes (like 5 minutes before the ceremony). Well experienced, knew what he was doing, and great energy. A pleasure to work with, and would use him again if the need develops.

Ron was recommended to us by our officiant and we were glad we took his advice! Ron has helpful worksheets that make it easy to plan all of your wedding music needs. He played all our suggested songs and added songs suited for all age groups. One thing in particular we liked was the flow between the different genres of music. Our guests had a blast dancing to all the music. They didn't want to get off the dance floor!

Our only advice would be to sign him up as soon as you can, because if you are too late, you will regret it. He came recommended to us from a family friend, and we share their high opinion of his talent, his personality, and his ability to choose just the right music to make an evening memorable.

Flexbile and Experienced DJ!
We heard about Finest Sounds from a friend who utilized him for her wedding and we were not disappointed. Ron met with us early in the process, had very competitive pricing, and took time to really get to know our preferences and flow for the event. Prior to the wedding, Ron provided an in-depth questionnaire to learn our tastes, including DO NOT Play lists and Must Plays, as well as specific percentages of songs played from different genres.
On the day of, Ron also provided AV equipment for the ceremony, and did a fantastic job seamlessly transitioning the evening. We asked him to take on this responsibility about three months until the wedding and he didn’t bat an eye.
Our introductions went perfectly and did a great job playing the music we requested, managing the requests of guests, and choosing songs on his own. The dance floor with Ron Gray was the place to be at our wedding!
If you want a DJ that cares about what you want, has competitive pricing, flexibility, professionalism, and flawless execution, then Finest Sounds is for you.

Ron was excellent! He was extremely easy to work with, and was able to fulfill all of our requests. He was flexible (it started to rain during our ceremony and we had to cut out a chunk, but Ron was able to roll with it and didn't miss the music cues) and was a great emcee. The music was perfect for our group, particularly since we didn't provide a ton of guidance. Ron was very responsive to all of our emails, and tailored his services to perfectly fit our wedding.

Ron was able to combine our song recommendations with more popular music and created a fantastic mix that fit the mood for each segment of the wedding perfectly. He was professional when setting up the event (much of the communication was remote due to the bride and groom being in Germany before the wedding). During the event, he kept us on schedule while remaining very personable and ensuring that everyone was having a good time. I would recommend him to anyone!

Ron is the best DJ we have ever encountered at any event. He used his extensive knowledge of music to play the right songs to fit the different moods of the evening. He also served as Master of Ceremonies and kept the evening running smoothly. We highly recommend Ron and will use him again in the future.

DJ Ron was great! He was very easy to work with and did an excellent job at our wedding. He played every song we requested and did a good job of reading the crowd by switching up the genres to get more people up and dancing. Less than 24 hours before our wedding we still weren't sure if we wanted speakers for our ceremony, so I contacted Ron and he was willing to draw up a new contract and arrive earlier than scheduled to provide them if we needed - I seriously doubt many people would do that on such short notice. Ron was a true professional and we would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Mr DJ Ron Gray is AWESOME!!! Everyone had rave reviews not only for our wedding, but the reception as well. Mr. Gray was very professional and accommodating with us and my family's diverse musical interests. He played everything from beach music, to jazz, to great oldies, to my beloved requested "Pitbull music" to dance to. Dance floor always had people having a blast and my single ladies definitely enjoyed the bouquet toss :)

We can't wait to recommend Mr. Gray to everyone who needs a DJ for karaoke or just a good time. He delivers excellent service with universal class. He truly feels like one of the family. Some of my dad's friends asked if he was our relative!! :)

BEST. DJ. EVER!
I highly recommend DJ Ron for your wedding...our dance floor was packed the ENTIRE time! Everyone kept making comments throughout the wedding saying "I've never been to a wedding where the dance floor has been packed from the very first song!". People are still talking about the music and DJ (four weeks later) saying how great the music was, how it was the perfect music for the crowd/guests and how much FUN everyone had because of the music!

Ron was extremely easy and reliable to work with and was extremely responsive as well. He had great advice and tips throughout the entire wedding process making the wedding planning easier and better. He smoothly and seamlessly kept the wedding on our schedule/"timeline" and made sure we hit all of our events - such as, speeches/toasts, first dances, etc. exactly how we wanted! Working with Ron made the music extremely stress-free for us. We went into our wedding planning only wanting great music and food (if both of those are great, no wedding can go wrong!)....well, DJ Ron exceeded our expectations and "made" the wedding. We, and our guests, had so much fun....and we attribute it all to the music. I highly recommend DJ Ron to everyone planning a wedding! He is the best!

Ron Gray could not have been a nicer or more professional DJ. He did a great job of feeling out the room and playing the perfect songs at the appropriate time at our wedding. We also provided him with a thorough list of songs we really wanted to hear and he made sure that he played each song we requested. Ro Cube was great to work with. Once I booked him we were able to communicate quickly with one another. I relayed to him with my expectations. We kept in contact until the day leading up to the wedding. I gave him three playlist. one was for the wedding itself, one for the cocktail hour, and one for the reception. Some songs I requested were outrageous, yet, he was able to find and get.

during the whole wedding all things went well without a hitch. He knew what songs to play and when to play them. He even got on the dance floor and help teach some dances to the guest. (my wife just loved that). I got nothing but positive remarks from my guest about the wedding. One of my friends stated, " that DJ just kept playing one great song after another. I was like give me a break, I need to stop dancing but the break never came." I requested that I wanted people dancing and continue until it was time to leave and he met every expectation I had on that.

Ron is an amazing, thoughtful, and professional D.J. We learned of him through our best man, and Ron worked with us in every way. He's extremely thorough and took into consideration all of our preferences. The music was eclectic in a way that everyone enjoyed, I kept hearing people say "I love this song!". We had some geeky references and music incorporated into the ceremony, and he expanded on that with several song selections. Overall, he's someone I would highly recommend and he has great intuition when it comes to creating the right musical vibe for your event.

Ron was tremendous from the very beginning. At our very first meeting with him, he explained all of his services clearly to us, and he also helped us with many details of the wedding that we had never even considered. Until the day of the wedding, Ron responded quickly to all of our e-mails, and he replied without complaint to our numerous questions and changes in the kinds of service that we wanted.

The DJ services were phenomenal. Ron read the mood of the crowd and their tastes perfectly, and people packed the dance floor all night long. We probably could have continued dancing through the following morning.

Even more impressively, Ron was very patient and flexible with our many unique requests. After our wedding, we had a traditional Korean ceremony on the dance floor, which he facilitated seamlessly despite various unexpected issues that arose. (He was even able to play some traditional Korean music off someone’s iPhone!)

Lastly, but most importantly: Ron is not only very skilled in his profession, but he is also a genuine and nice guy. It was a real pleasure to work with him, and we’ll certainly look to him if we ever have a need for such services in the future.

Ron was flexible in responding to our requirements on short notice. He helped keep us on track with scheduling and helped us formulate a comprehensive song list that was well received by the guests. Even the 85 year old mother of one of the guests put her cane down and danced!

My wife and I were just married this past weekend and we had a great experience with Ronald Gray, Finest Sounds. He always got back to me immediately with any concerns I had, and was very willing to work with us doing a bunch of different things. We even had a last minute change that we needed him to do, and he performed it without any notice at all. The wedding went as smoothly as I could have imagined it and it would not have been possible without the professional and great work of Finest Sounds. I would recommend their services to anybody.

Zero complaints about the entire production, even though it was my own wedding, I have to say that Mr. Ron Gray definitely knows how to run the show when it comes to wedding receptions. Everybody loved the music and the introductions and everything else that Ron blew out of the water that night. I have had the priviledge and honor to work with Ron Gray. The music selection was perfect. Everyone at the reception has stated that they had so much fun dancing at the reception. Ron was a great DJ. He did an awesome job with all of our music requests and kept the dance floor busy. During the reception he checked in with us and our event coordinator to keep the schedule of events on time. DJ Ron was awesome! It was important to us that all of guests were on the dance floor dancing to songs that were fun and people of all ages could enjoy. We gave a few requests of "do not play songs" and a mostly gave genres and Ron knew exactly what we wanted! The entire time people were up and dancing! Ron kept the night moving too...he would let us know when we were about to do the cake, first dance, toast etc. he was very helpful and very professional. We would definitely use him again and recommend him to other people. Thank you Ron for making the night so great :)

I never really write reviews on things but I am making an exception with Ron. He was just great :)

Quality of Service: Great music, he really understood what we were looking for in our wedding and delivered. He knew how to keep people on the dance floor all night long and it was PACKED!

Responsiveness: We had some issues with our transportation which made everything run a bit behind schedule. Ron would check in with us throughout the night to see how we were doing and how we wanted the schedule to run. He suggested some changes and we thought they were the right moves to make.

Professionalism: Dressed how were requested, was present but not overpowering, controlled the flow of the night just how a DJ should.

Value: Ron stayed within our budget which was more than a lot of the other DJs we encountered. There was no nickel and diming going on with Ron. The price was the price. No more and no less.

Flexibility: Again, because our schedule was a bit off, Ron made the appropriate changes in the night. I don't think any of our guests even knew anything had changed!

He will def. be recommended to others!!!

Ron was GREAT. I could never say enough good things about him. My husband and I have very different taste in music and we didn't give Ron many song picks but he took the time to learn about what we like and don't like and picked the perfect songs. He had the dance floor packed all night. Not only did he play the role of DJ but also kept us on track for cake cutting, dinner service and other reception things. Finest Sounds was absolutely fantastic to work with. He was very attentive to us - checking a few times to make sure we had food and drinks, keeping an eye on the time and scheduled events, and working closely with the coordinator we had designated. He followed our playlist closely, and added a few more songs into the mix that suited us well based on what we provided him. He was responsive to us and to our guests as they requested songs and asked him for assistance. And for all of that, his price came in lower than the other DJs we looked at. Even before the wedding, he was working with us to make sure he had everything set to go and the event went off smoothly.

Ron is a professional. Ron takes ample time to find out what your musical, entertainment and emcee priorities are for the big night. Ron did an excellent job! We had tons of requests for him right from the beginning, including choreographed dance numbers and special songs sung and played live. He was able to find all of our indie music on our must play list, and for those he didn't have he asked well in advance to receive them from us. During the event, we heard many people remark how great a job he was doing in leading all our events (with the help of my MOH) and kept things running smoothly. I hightly recommend him to others. He was incredibly responsive from the very beginning and I knew I could count on him without having to worry about a thing. He took our requests well - and in addition - he also made sure that we were taken care of. When we didn't have a drink, he went and got us one. Thank you Ron for everything!!!

So my wedding was ethnic - my now husband and I are from Kenya/Africa speaking two different dialects. I selected all the music and ofcourse English music for our American guests. There wasn't a glitch, not once. Our friends were pleasantly shocked to hear all the music from back home blend in so well with English music. They all wish we could do it again! Ron was great, and the cost was such a bargain for a wedding put together in four months. I 100% recomend Finest Sounds Entertainment to any bride/groom/function.

Ron Gray was fantastic. We had our first meeting about 6 months prior to our big day to go over our playlist and other details. About 2 weeks from our wedding, we sent him our final playlist and filled out his itinerary. During our wedding he made sure that our wedding went smoothly and kept us on track with the best man toast, first dance, cake cutting etc... The music he played was awesome and all of our guests had a great time. And lastly, he was very affordable. We would recommend him without any hesitation. Ron was an excellent DJ and played all the right type of music that got everyone on the dance floor all night long. He was very prompt when the guests requested music and played a variety of fun, danceable songs. I felt very much at ease throughout the planning process that Ron new exactly what he was doing and that he would make sure I had the party I was looking for. I really can't say enough how important it is to get a great DJ that knows how to work his equipment, can read the crowd to know what to play, is trustworthy, and is extremely reasonably priced and I believe that Ron is all of the above and so much more. He was one of the best aspects of the whole wedding; he made the reception so special. He was very polite and professional yet laid back and calm, something that as a bride was very appreciated. From the moment we walked into the reception area, he had a handle of everything. RON WAS GREAT!!! He was so nice and kept us all on time. The music was great and he had everyone out on the dance floor all night. My husband and I thought no one would dance! In fact, we thought everyone would have left by 9:30 and the dance floor was full until 11 - when our event ended! Even my husband, who doesn't like to dance in front of others, was breaking it down!

We couldn't have asked for anyone better. Ron kept coming to us all night making sure everything was OK and that we were happy with how everything was going. He played all the songs that I requested and didn't play any songs that were on my "do not play list." After the reception, my husband was so happy that we had booked Ron and kept saying over and over again how good the music selection was. If you're looking for a great DJ definitely book Ron!

Ron did a great job DJ'ing our wedding at Bristow Manor (Bristow, Virginia) on May 1, 2010. All of our guests had a great time and the music was exactly what we wanted! Ron also was very understanding with some schedule changes on the day of the wedding, which was very appreciative. I would definitely recommend using Ron for all of your DJ'ing needs! Thanks Ron!

Ron from Finest Sounds was the DJ for our wedding. We tasked him with 1 major mission: Keep people on the dance floor. The outcome: 100% mission accomplished! He kept a very vigilant watch on the dance floor and made sure that the music he played wasn't scaring people off the floor. We let him make most of the selections on music (minus a few that we really wanted to be played) and he made great choices. The music had a good range of classics to newer songs and they were well balanced. He also was willing to take the approach of fading out a song if it was chasing people off the dance floor even if it was a request! Thats the kind of command we were hoping for from our DJ and he did not disappoint. I highly recommend Ron as Finest Sounds as a solid and dependable DJ!

Ron did an amazing job!
He would check in with us just to make sure we were having fun and see if we needed anything. He kept the entire event running smoothly and everyone LOVED the music selection!

Ron was AMAZING! It was really important for us to check reviews, so I'm happy to write this one. I found Ron through TWO referrals, my husband and I met with him and knew instantly he was the right fit. He gave us a really great price, below what we budgeted for 6 hours of DJ time. He was SO structured and prepared, put together an entire itinerary for the whole evening, and always updated it with changes we requested. He RAN THE SHOW at our wedding, kept it moving so that my parents didn't have to worry about anything but having a good time. He played GREAT music, had great flows, and is an all-around nice guy. We really HIGHLY recommend Ron - he's fun, talented, easy to work with and we wouldn't have changed a thing about him!

Ron was a wonderful addition to our wedding. He made great musical selections that allowed our guests of all ages to always be on the dance floor. Ron is a great deejay and we are so thankful he made our wedding even more memorable.

Hy husband booked the DJ prior to the event and I never met with him, honestly I was a little nervous. However, Ron was excellent. We had not planned extensively for the schedule at the Reception and Ron offered excellent pointers and kept the whole thing on track. In the craziness, he was the perfect coordinator. He also was very good about playing alll the songs that I provided him with, while improvizing well with our lack of guidance. Overall, he was awesome!

Ron Gray of Finest Sounds Entertainment provided us with a wonderful and very special part of our big day, as our DJ and friend, too! Ron Gray of Finest Sounds Entertainment DJed for my wedding and I can't express my satisfaction. My brother was just married about 6 months ago in Tx and the DJ was garbage. At that point I realized the importance of having a dependable, professional, experienced, and interactive DJ at my wedding. Upon interviewing Ron I knew that he fit all of the above and then some. He was very attentive, fun, played exactly what I asked and improvised excellently based on responsiveness to the crowds desires. The DJ really makes or breaks the reception and Ron made mine. I even had a singer perform at my wedding and Ron took the initiative to speak with her and rehearse with her. I couldn't be happier with his service and many of my family and friends RAVED about his selections, demeanor, and professionalism. I HIGHLY recommend his services for ANY event and I am having another wedding in Brazil a year from now and am considering even flying him down at my expense if it is within my budget. We were very pleased with the great service and professionalism that Ron provided at our wedding. Simply put, our wedding and reception would not have been the special day that it was without Ron. We found him to be very accommodating to our desired plan and he filled in the gaps well where we couldn't come up with ideas. He always returned our calls despite his busy schedule and addressed our concerns promptly. His skills as a DJ as well as Master of Ceremony were excellent. I would highly recommend him for your wedding or any other event.
