The Ultimate Party Starter—Harold Does It Again

Harold kept our wedding party going all night with the perfect mix of music and flawless MC skills, making all the right announcements at just the right times. Best Wedding DJ

I highly recommend Finer Touch Entertainment to anyone seeking musical entertainment/DJ/Photobooth/Sparklers for their special occasion. Finer Touch Entertainment completely exceeded our expectations for our October 2023 wedding with their professionalism and expertise. Absolutely amazing

We were told by many that our wedding was the best they’ve ever been to and I know that is because of your entertainers. Harold was amazing to work with from the beginning. He took all of our concerns into account, listened to our needs and created perfection. When the timeline changed the day of he always checked it. Dj. Spider was phenomenal. I’ve already recommended them to others and can’t wait to do it again.

Best Dj to hire!

The best decision we ever made for our wedding was hiring finer touch to handle the music! We had DJ GMoney and DJ Sparx and they know how to throw a well organized and lively event. They were able to include everything we wanted in a timely way and kept everyone engaged the entire time, it was hard to keep people off the dance floor! Guests at our wedding that don’t even like dancing were on the dance floor, that’s how much fun they made it! We are truly thankful to Harold and his team for really listening to our vision of what we wanted for the evening and choosing the right duo to make it happen!

Absolutely Wonderful

Harold and his team was AWESOME. My wedding was one week ago and people are still calling me talking about how wonderful they were. They satisfied all age groups that were there. As I type my mother, husband and sister is raving about Finertouch. I had to hand his information out to about 80% of my guest before they left. Thank you Finertouch for making my night beautiful.

Far Exceeded Expectations

Words do not do Finer Touch justice. Working with Finer Touch Entertainment was the easiest part of our wedding planning. From our first meeting, to the online portal, and responsiveness, you couldn't ask for more. Harold and James provided music for our ceremony and reception and they captured our vision perfectly. All of our favorites were played and they chose music that kept the crowd going. We had a blast and our guests are still raving about it. I would recommend FTE to anyone as well as book them for future events.

Best Decision Ever

We met Harold right before the pandemic in his office. He had a very calm positive vibe. When he stated that he MCs, and used to DJ, I couldn't believe it until I saw the videos of past weddings. My husband and I knew right away he was a fit. We were truly worried that our wedding was going to be a disaster with no one dancing. We come from different backgrounds of Guyanese and Nigerian and then mix in every other backgrounds of other close family and friends. We just didn't know how we would get anyone to dance. I sent Harold the play list input probably 1 week before the wedding---YELP he's patient! But honestly we didn't need to worry! Harold and DJ Royal did an amazing job! Everyone at some point was dancing on the dance floor! Even after our wedding, people kept coming up to us telling us how good our MC & DJ were keeping the music and the people going. It was definitely the vibe my husband and I wanted but didn't think we would get. I would say we were having so much fun that we actually forgot to take our night time wedding shots. Having Finer Touch was honestly the best decision we could have made! I never knew what an impact having a great entertainment company can have on your special day and I've been to tons of weddings. I think my only regret was not hiring them for my ceremony hour. To easily put it, I honestly think I could have had a wedding on the street and it would have been amazing because of Finer Touch and their energy.

Awesome!

Working with Harold and the whole Finer Touch Ent team was a breeze. I originally had hired someone else for my 2020 wedding but due to covid-19 I was forced to find another entertainment team for my wedding. My day of coordinator recommended Finer Touch. From the first phone call up until the very last one, Harold was very attentive to the way I wanted my wedding to flow. My family and my husband’s family come from a very small island, Grenada and music from Grenada was very important to our wedding. Harold and his team understood the assignment and succeeded way beyond what we could’ve ever imagined. My guests cannot stop talking about my wedding. Thank you Finer Touch Ent!!!!

Simply Amazing!

My husband and I are beyond thankful for Finer Touch for making our wedding day everything we imagined and more! From the professionalism, online planning system and responsiveness, Harold made the planning process extremely seamless. Harold did an amazing job as our MC. He regularly checked in on us throughout the evening in which my husband and I truly appreciated. DJ Sparkx captured the essence of the vibe and energy we envisioned and made sure to keep everyone on the dance floor. It was beautiful seeing all of our friends and family come together on the dance floor enjoying themselves. Incredible night. Harold and his team did a great job at my wedding. They were able to get everyone moving and creating a vibe that was just right. We danced all night. So much fun

FinerTouch was a great choice! Anthony the DJ knew exactly what we wanted. The guest loved the music & were even asking for the playlist. He played a great mix of music that reflected us. The MC, Edwin had great energy and was funny. He was very engaging & made sure the guest were having fun. We would definitely recommend.

Finer Touch was simply amazing! Our guests kept complimenting the music selection and MC way after the wedding. If you want to make sure to have a party where people don’t stop dancing all night then you need Finer Touch. We can’t recommend them enough!! Best Wedding MC & DJ

I came across Finer Touch Entertainment at a wedding trade show in NYC. After seeing their set I knew they were the right company for my big day. Harold is very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. Finer Touch also provided me with uplighting for the evening which made the room look more magical. Harold assigned me DJ Sparkx for the evening and the guests loved his musical choices. He was able to blend hip hop, r&b and afrobeats and keep the party flowing all night. Harold did an excellent job as an MC and gave the wedding party an awesome introduction.

Finer Touch is the best in the business and made our night magical.

Finer touch entertainment is the best! I used this company for my bridal shower and my wedding. DJ royal was amazing!!!!! He really got the party started. Harold was an amazing MC, so amazing that he got my husband out of his shell and put on a show for everyone! DJ sparxx is phenomenal! He played everything we wanted and more! Finer Touch Entertainment was recommended to us for our wedding by our venue (Reid Castle) and we could not have been any happier! Harold was an excellent resource for us. We completed an easy online profile with a playlist. Finer Touch Entertainment then took our requests to the next level! They really managed to capture our style and add tons of songs that fit right in and were crowd pleasers. Our guests were raving about the music at our wedding. I was a wedding planner turned bride in 2016 and knew there was no other DJ that I trusted more than Harold from Finer Touch Entertainment! I've hired Harold for several other clients of mine and both them and myself have always been very pleased! So I knew for my day there would be nobody better! Now with being a wedding planner that means my schedule was insane (especially because I thought getting married in August was a good idea, I was busier than ever!) Harold had a ton of patience when it came to getting me to sit down for even 5 min. to review the day and what I wanted the musical vibe to be. I was truthfully ALL over the place with what I wanted and didn't really know how to make sense of my crazy, very random, music selections. Well Harold knew what to do and he also made note of the very specific items I was particular about, like playing the entire song for our first dance whether guests got tired or not, I wanted that moment with my husband! He took everything I told him into consideration and the reception was nothing short of perfection. I've trusted Harold with my couples and even my own wedding, there is nothing I wouldn't trust him to do! He's a true professional who loves what he does and really cares for his clients. He makes sure that the music fits your day, and you both as a couple while still catering to the crowd and your guests to ensure everyone is having a great time, keeping that dance floor full! Finer Touch Entertainment was absolutely AMAZING!!! I couldn't have asked for a better MC and DJ team. During the process of picking my vendors, we found it very difficult to source through so many selections. I thought I had found my DJ until I saw Harold and his team at 2 separate Bridal Expos and then at a friends wedding. I knew they were the ones to make sure my wedding guests had the time of their lives! During the first meeting, Harold went through everything we might need and answered all our questions and concerns. He even honored an old promotion that we saw even though it was expired several months prior. That let me know right then that he makes sure his clients are satisfied. Our package included music for the ceremony, cocktail (through this in for free), and the reception. We also had a photo booth, uplighting as well as video monitors that displayed our names and later on a photo montage of our lives. Our DJ's name was James. We asked for a range of music ranging from the time we met to current music and the mix the DJ played was spot on. Our guest started to call the DJ *"DJ Not Eating"* because the music was soooooo good that no one wanted to sit down and eat when it was time for dinner. They were actually upset that had to stop to eat haha. Finer Touch Entertainment went beyond in meeting our expectations. If you use them for your wedding, you will not be disappointed!

We decided to go with Harold and he was absolutely amazing. My husband and I first met him at a wedding expo in the Marriott Marquis. He performed along with a few other djs from his company. We were amazed then and were even more amazed on our big day! Harold exceeded our expectations!

We were so happy that we chose Harold and James from Finer Touch Entertainment for our wedding reception. From the 1st meeting with him, it was clear that he understood the reception that we wanted. We hired an MC and DJ for the reception and they were perfect. Harold was the consummate professional. Everything started on time and from the announcement of the wedding party through the last dance of the evening, Harold and James were classy, paid attention to details, and were just plain fun! We had dancing throughout the night and Harold and James kept our guests out of their seats. We wanted to make sure that our reception was not simply a food fest or dinner party. We wanted it to be a night of fun that our diverse group of guests would enjoy and believe me, Harold had all of our guest on the dance floor from our 20-something nieces and nephews to our 80 year old aunt! Everyone is still telling us how much fun our reception was and how great the music was. In addition to the music, Harold mingled in the crowd and led us in dances that kept the guests energized throughout the night. We loved Finer Touch Entertainment and can’t wait to hire them for out next big event!

Harold from Finer Touch Entertainment was a pleasure to work with. We originally met the DJ's at the Bridal Expo in 2015 held at the Marriott in NYC and loved their energy and vibe. Unfortunately me being the cheap partner in the relationship I tried looking elsewhere for comparable DJ services and could not find anyone that topped the energy, charisma, and personality of Finer Touch Entertainment. They were offering a really great special this month so my fiance and I decided that we waited long enough and they were worth their price in gold. I can't wait to have them at my wedding in a few months. I'm Super excited.

This vendor was recommended by a friend, she knew that i wanted to party hard on my wedding day. She know the type of music that I liked and recommended Harold & Finer Touch Entertainment. I had previously contacted other Djs(entertainment) and they didnt get back to me in a timely manor. When i contacted Finer Touch I spoke with someone immediately who scheduled and appointment for me and my fiance to come in to talk. We met and he walked us through the things that we may need on our wedding day, many of which we never thought about. He was professional, courteous and super knowledgeable and I booked him that day. On our wedding day he did everything we expected and more. They kept the party rocking and made sure that the room was engaged. Great music, Photo booth and a dope Master of Ceremony in Harold. I would recommend Finer Touch Entertainment for anything including anyone that needs two turntables and a mic. There is something to be said about getting what u expected and more on your wedding day.

Harold and his team did a wonderful job of keeping my guests dancing the whole night. We had a photobooth, which the guests really enjoyed, as well as video monitors showcasing the dance floor and our montage on loop...
I got to hear a lot of the songs I requested, however the DJ was able to get a good feel for the crowd and played what he felt were the crowd pleasers.

I can't thank Finer Entertainment enough for the amazing time we had at our wedding. The are very professional and know exactly what they are doing. We had them play our ceremony music as well as the reception. They did an excellent job. Harold was friendly, helpful and understood exactly what we wanted and definitely delivered. Finding the right DJ was very important for me and my husband. My family is from Haiti and his is from Trinidad, so we needed to find a DJ who was familiar with all genres of music including soca, kompa, calypso, pop, r&b, hip hop, etc. We basically wanted it all!! Harold from Finer Touch Entertainment did not disappoint! He played it ALL! The dance floor was always full of people, including me and my husband. I also loved that the DJ set up was beautiful. It looked as if it was part of the venue. Another bonus was that Harold interacted with the guest, but not too much. He spoke just enough to let people know what was going on and he even had a game to give away the centerpieces at the end of the night! I never would have thought to do that, and I loved it! We had an amazing night and we owe a lot of it to Finer Touch Entertainment!!

i wish there is more than 5 star option for this review because i would definitely give Harold and everyone at "Finer Touch Entertainment" a perfect 10 score/review for the service that they've given us on our wedding day.
All of our guest were entertained at the dance floor and at the photo booth! It was very comforting to know that all our guest had fun and we owe all of that to Harold and his team at Finer Touch Entertainment. Aside from celebrating that my husband and i are now married, we are celebrating that our wedding was definitely a fun party for everyone!!! Thanks so much Finer Touch entertainment!!!!

I hired Finer Touch Entertainment to provide entertainment for my wedding at the New York Botanical Garden. We put a lot of thought into creating a beautiful, elegant event for our friends and family and one of the most important elements was the entertainment. In the planning process, Harold was such a warm and calming presence and helped us craft the perfect evening. FTE provided live musicians for our ceremony and cocktail hour (harpist and a bassist) and DJ entertainment for our reception. First, the ceremony.The musicians played our selections beautifully, and really set the tone for a romantic and touching ceremony. They played a nice variety of classical and contemporary selections during cocktail hour, and we received so much positive feedback from our guests! And for the reception: from beginning to end, Harold, Martin and Edwin kept us on the dance floor. We had so much fun - I have never seen our friends and family dance so much. We are still hearing from our guests that it was the most fun that they ever had at a wedding, and I owe that all to Harold and his team. I highly recommend working with them on your event. They can play any style of music and really cater to diverse crowds. I (and probably every single person who attended the event) will always hire FTE for any event that I have!

Great company to work with. Harold really tailors the event to what you really want to hear at the wedding. The website made things really easy too. Everyone had a blast at our wedding, I think the dance floor was always full except during eating times. We've already referred 2 people to them.

There are not enough words to express how FANTASTIC of a job the FTE crew did for my wedding reception. Every time the dance floor opened up again after a short break for a meal, EVERYONE was on their feet! Immediately after the party was over, all of my friends could not stop raving about how great the FTE crew was. One of my bridesmaids asked for their card. This summer was a summer of wedding for my family, and ours was the last one. We closed the summer with a BANG! I wanted our wedding to just be one big, fun party - where we just so happened to be getting married at...That is exactly what Harold and his team delivered. There was not a dull moment. Our guests are still talking about what a fun night it was, how much they danced...seriously! I didn't even know my mother danced, and thanks to Harold she did not sit down all night! Harold and Finer Touch Entertainment rocked our wedding. Our guest are still talking about how much they danced and the music was awesome. We didn't get a chance to really dance like we wanted because it was so many people and we were taking pictures but he made our first dance very special and our monogram on the floor was perfect. We also added up-lighting to the room which enhanced the beauty of the venue. Everyone I asked and I mean everyone says that the music was rocking. I also appreciate that Harold was able to mix the music to ensure that everyone enjoyed it. When you have people 6 years to 90 years on the floor or tapping their feet you know the Deejay was doing their thing. I also have to add that Harold and his staff are very professional and timely which was extremely important to us. You made our day special!

My husband and I wanted to take our guests on a musical journey paying homage to our grandparents & parents with music from their era and moving forward to music from our era. Harold & Edwin took our guests on this journey in Finer Touch Entertainment style - they were PHENOMENAL! They worked with us from the very beginning - taking us through the process which included a last minute addition of ceremony music (which is soooooo important!). At the reception my guests were on the dancefloor from the moment it opened till the very end of the wedding. Harold and the staff at Finer Touch was amazing!!! From the moment I met Harold, I knew that his company was going to be the one to make my entertainment needs come to fruition. He was professional and understood exactly what we wanted. The day of our wedding, every song we asked for was played, and the genres we said we didn't want were not played. In our opinion Finer Touch Entertainment is the best Wedding DJ company in the entire tri-state area. Before we hired Finer Touch, we interviewed two other DJ companies and they were wonderful with great reputations but Finer Touch had everything we needed. They helped with us with our playlists, the ceremony music, and anything we asked. On the day of the wedding they were there early in morning setting up before we even showed up. From start to finish they were PERFECT. They played the right music at the right time and made sure everyone had a great time, they couldn't get people off the dance floor! Our guests can't stop talking about how great the music and reception was. Majority of our guests have told us it was the best wedding they have been to; which makes us very proud because for most of them it was their second or third wedding this year alone. Harold & FTE were the perfect choice for our wedding - our guest danced the entire time. He was very attentive and kept on top of the wedding party. I used Finer Touch Entertainment for my wedding reception in May 2010 and they were absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend them. They were professional and ensured they meet our every need. I did not have to give them much direction, they knew exactly what to do and when. They are definitely well versed in wedding reception formalities/ traditions. Harold and his crew from Finer Touch were the absolute best on my wedding day. A good DJ & master of ceremonies is essential to ensure that your day runs smoothly and that your guests have a good time at the biggest party of your life. Prior to my actual event, Harold and I had several meetings to discuss my taste in music and special song selections for all of the special picture moments of the day. We had a great time putting together all of the music. My wedding day went off without one glitch mainly because Harold and his team are so professional, efficient and organized. Our friends & family were totally impressed. We had many guests requesting their business card. My dad (Bride) - who is 89 years old has yet to stop speaking of how excellent the music was. I have one freind state "My son does not dance at events" but at our wedding reception they were both so surprised, her husband watched their teen aged son dance through out the evening, with them and also by himself. Harold and his team are incredible! They made our Thursday night wedding feel like a Saturday. Our guests are still commenting on how great the music was and I look forward to recommending them down the road. Harold listened to what my husband and I wanted and it was all delivered and then some. For example, I requested a particular song hat was featured in a TV show years, (meaning it wasn't released to the mainstream) and that song played as I walked down the aisle. The photo booth was a HUGE hit and we had our digital copies less than 2 days later. The photo qualities were awesome as well. If you have yet to decide on your music choice for you event, especially your wedding, Finer Touch is definitely the business to book with. Finer Touch Entertainment was AMAZING..from my very first phone conversation I knew I had selected the right company for my wedding day. My wedding day was a celebration for all in attendance and Finer Touch made sure that the music, lighting, and fun factor stayed on HIGH from the moment they started playing. When I went to meet with Harold he was professional and walked me thru the entertainment of the day and advised on things I had overlooked. I was able to make last minute adjustments the week of my wedding and the MC made sure to introduce himself and we knew walking into the reception that everyone's name would be pronounced correctly and in the right order. I couldn't have asked for more -- whether you are looking for a DJ for your wedding, birthday party, or any party put your music in the hands of Finer Touch Entertainment.

Very professional, on time. Work well with the consumer. Interacted well with the guests and kept the guests dancing all night. We would recommend finer touch to anyone!

Responsiveness via email communication was an issue we had however...we could NOT be happier with the out come of the day of service. Our DJ Martin and our MC Edwin made our wedding the FUN PARTY we were hoping for. They were so on point with scheduling the intros, the first dance, the parent dances, the bouquet/garter toss, the cake cutting etc it was FLAWLESS. The music was wonderful.

My Wedding is schedule for July 2016 and so far so good!! They have been super flexible with payment schedules and the music list. They are also providing lighting for the reception and after party. I am super excited :)
