Outstanding Entertainment

Fifth Entertainment has performed at our organization's major fundraiser for many, many years and for each and every one of those years their performance has been outstanding. We have between 300 and 400 at each event and all reviews have been enthusiastic endorsements of their performance! We will have them back in 2020!

Outstanding Performance Gospel Choir 5th Ave. Entertainment

We had the gospel choir for an event that we needed to put together in a hurry and they were responsive and flexible as we scrambled last minute. They showed up timely, performed all the requested songs BEAUTIFULLY and were absolutely delightful!!

My husband and I hired Fifth Avenue Entertainment- Studio Band to perform at our wedding and it was the best decision ever! They played all of the Motown, Soulful, Oldies throughout the night that kept ALL of our guests (from young to old) on their feet, dancing and singing all night. By the time the band finished their last song, all of our guests were still on the dance floor wanting more! My husband and I got compliments on the reception band with our guests telling us that they've never had so much fun at a wedding. We couldn't imagine our day without them!

The 8-Member gospel choir performed at our event of nearly 200 friends and family. Their performance made the day! It was magical and memorable. Working with George to coordinate was a breeze. This entire outfit is High Quality on every level.

I work on a nationally broadcast sitcom and we needed a gospel choir to perform in an episode. We were referred to Fifth Avenue by one of writers who had used the choir in her wedding this year. She loved them and thought they'd be perfect for the show. They not only provided us an amazing choral performance, they looked great and were also very funny when called upon to be.

George was very easy to work with and gave us confidence that everything would come together without a hitch. We ended up working with the group over 3 days and we loved every minute.

I hope they get written into another episode soon!

My wife and I hired Fifth Avenue Entertainment to play at our wedding and we were blown away, as were all of our guests. The gospel singers and 4 piece band we had play during the ceremony and cocktail hour knocked it out of the park with their cohesiveness as a group and their obvious passion for the music. Working with George to arrange the logistics regarding the set list and wedding timeline was smooth sailing. I am very particular and detail-oriented when it comes to music and he was understanding, accommodating and reassuring. He delivered on his promise to provide me with music professionals who would make our dream wedding dream a reality. Our happy-to-be-dancing guests raved about the music and the singers. I HIGHLY recommend Fifth Avenue Entertainment to anyone looking to make their event pop with style, fun and unforgettable sounds!

Fifth Avenue Music and Entertainment is the best! We used them for our daughter's wedding and were totally pleased. George was very thorough in his explanations of the various band choices. My daughter and son-in-law eventually chose the Ultimate Groove Band for their wedding reception. This band kept the party going the whole night, and then some! We have recommended Fifth Avenue to several friends and they have not been disappointed. George's assistant, Mary, was amazing! She was so patient and extremely organized with all that they needed to know prior to the wedding. This was a wonderful choice for us and we would highly recommend Fifth Avenue Entertainment!

The musicians that Fifth Avenue Entertainment provided were excellent and professional. They performed a wide array of music which we requested. The dance floor was always full and they really set the tone for a fun party.We could not have had a better experience.

We give our HIGHEST recommendation to Fifth Avenue Orchestras! The musicians made our wedding a truly special experience, with perfect timing, fun, and excitement. They really exceeded our expectations!!! It was a pleasure working with Mary to set up the wedding timeline and playlist before the wedding, and the musicians were simply incredible. They deserve more than 5 stars!

The fifth avenue orchestra made our event truly magical. Until you have a wedding, it is easy to underestimate the importance of the band in setting the tone for the entire evening (as well as keeping the flow of the event). We feel so lucky that we had this band at our event. Mary, their coordinator is incredible! She made us feel so at ease leading up to the event (she kept us on track more than anyone) to make sure that we had thought about all of the necessary parts of the evening - what song will be your first dance? when will you do a speech? who is speaking and when? etc. (these are all things I never would have thought of until then end, but Mary contacted me about them with ample time prior to the wedding so that we could be sure we thought of everything to make the magical night truly stress free and just FUN! Also, we hadn't heard the band prior to booking them and really didn't know what to expect, the music was phenomenal, but perhaps even more impressive is their ability to read the crowd and their expertise in throwing truly remarkable parties. They had a structure (which we worked with Mary to create), but knew when and how to deviate from that to simply throw the world's best party. They may not have played all of our requested songs (there wasn't enough time for that), but they did take creative liberties which created an incredible night - they started a "love train" through the entire party which people were raving about and which included people who may not have felt comfortable out on the dancefloor. Also, they were so flexible with us - played a few MP3s of ethnic music that we brought and also allowed family member musicians to play a few songs with them. They helped to make our night one that so many have told us was "THE BEST WEDDING EVER" :-) THANK YOUI!

We used Fifth Avenue Orchestras and Entertaiment for our other daughter's wedding in the Fall of 2010. So many of our guests commented then about how much they liked the band that we decided to use them for our other daughter's wedding. Completely different venue. Both occasions used different music before the ceremony and during cocktails---one strings, the other Spanish guitar, e.g., and Fifth Avenue was able to provide competent musicians. Mary and George are very accommodative and wonderful to work with. The results exceeded our expectations on both occasions. Guests at our latest event were commenting during the festivities how much they liked the band and asking where did we find them..

If you want an absolutely amazing, fantastic band for your wedding, The Music Connection Orchestra is the band for you. They are so versatile. They can play any music or song you desire. If it is not on their list, they will learn it. We are from Ohio and they learned "Hang on Sloopy" for our daughter's California wedding. All us buckeye fans went crazy. Everybody raved about how this was the BEST WEDDING BAND they had ever had the pleasure of listening to. The band pleased all of our guests ranging in age from 18 to 85. We couldn't have had a better time. Thank-you for the beautiful memories that will last us our lifetime. The music is still playing in our heads. Make sure you splurge for the whole orchestra including the horns when booking this band. It is well worth it.

They played beautiful, soft music during dinner and checked in a few times on volume. They checked in many times before the wedding to get all the details right for which songs to be played when and which off of their songlist to never play-- they made no errors!! Every song was beautiful. They are so talented, outgoing and friendly. They really went out of their way to make sure our guests were continually having fun! We appreciate all they did for us on our wedding day.

Fifth Avenue Orchestras & Entertainment is the best Thanks to them our wedding was a huge success. From the moment they started playing to the very end, the dance floor was full from the youngest to the oldest. They always knew what to play and how to "work" the event. They are true professionals, very accommodating, talented and entertaining. It doesn't get any better! all my guest are still raving about how much fun they had, even that I did not give them a music list, I trusted them and they delivered.... I will recommended to anyone who wants to have a time of their life!!!!!!!!

They were the hit ofthe party!!! They were professional and fun!!! They played at my husand's sisters Wedding a few months prior and we knew we would use them!!! They played everything from Bob Marley to Beethoven!!!

We booked the band 'Marquis' and couldn't have been happier with them! They were excellent! Not only were they great MCing the night, but they were so talented and virtually every guest commented on how great they were.

This band made our wedding a great party. They played everything from oldies to Beyonce. They were more expensive than a dj, but they were definitely worth it. Our friends still tell us that ours is the best wedding they have been to...and it is because of our band!

Mary and George at fifth avenue were awesome! Mary was so sweet and easy to work with prior to the wedding. Multiple wedding guests came up to me and said it was the best band they had ever heard at a wedding. Music connection played at my sister's wedding 11 years ago, and I knew I wanted them to play at my wedding too. They were so great! They had an amazing energy from the beginning that lasted all night. They were definitely the best part of the wedding party!

They truely brought great atmosphere to my wedding. I first encountered them at my friends' wedding. They are hired on the spot. At my wedding, I got a lot rave from my guests saying that they did a great job. During the planning process, Mary is extremely helpful, detail orientated and prompt respose. Excellent band!!

I was in contact with both George and Mary at Fifth Avenue, and both of them were cordial and pleasant to speak to. They answered all of my questions, and on top of that were very manageable and accommodating, which is not something I can say for other quartets I spoke with. We provided Fifth Avenue with a highly specific setlist for both our ceremony and cocktail reception, and they were happy to work with it; in cases where they did not know/have arrangements for a certain song, they were willing to arrange it themselves for a small fee.

The contracts were simple, payment was easy. As pleasant an experience as you could ask for leading into a wedding.

During the event itself, the quartet was professional and talented. They played everything we asked for, looked impeccable, and generally added quite a bit to the wedding. A wonderful experience.

The guests really enjoyed them, although a few requests were turned down due to them not knowing the song. On the other hand they played a broad range of music and it would be unrealistic to expect them to know it all. Great band, Great show, definitely a large part of what made the wedding so magical.
