Mike and Britney were awesome! They got so many awesome shots and they are so fun to work with. They helped me figure out a good timeline for everything and was on top of being where they needed to be to get the perfect shot!

Hiring Fetography Portraits was the best decision we could have made when planning our wedding. Chris and I cannot say enough great things about Mike and his assistant Carol. To begin with, they drove through a hazardous snowstorm to get to our wedding which proves their dedication, care and reliability. We will not be able to thank them enough for being there that day.
We had already loved Mike after meeting him for our engagement pictures and couldn't wait to see him again. He quickly became more than just our photographer - he became our friend. Mike has a way to make you very comfortable from the start with his professional, friendly attitude. We trusted him and told him to run the show with whatever pictures he wanted to take because we knew his amazing creativity would capture only the best moments and memories from our wedding and turn them into art. Mike doesn't just have attention to detail - he has an attention to perfection for each picture he takes.
Starting with our initial email to Mike and throughout our engagement, he was always very quick to respond whenever we needed him. He even calmed me down whenever I started getting stressed about the big day. To say he is just a photographer is an understatement. It was truly an honor to have Mike be a part of our wedding day and his art will forever remind us of our special day. It's easy to see this is his life passion, not just a job. We already cannot wait to use Fetography Portraits again in the future and highly recommend Mike to anyone we know. Love you Mike!

Mike and Carol were simply amazing. As soon as I saw his work, I knew he was the one. All of his shots that I had seen from previous weddings were so romantic and timeless, just what I wanted. When booking with him he told me little things like "you won't even know we are there taking pictures." And I rolled my eyes thinking.."Of course I'll know you're there!! You'll be in my face all night with a camera!" But after all of our formal a were taken and the party was about to start, I literally didn't notice Mike or Carol there that night. At one point in the night he did show me a few pictures he took and I was blown away. One photo was of me and my dad dancing during our father daughter dance, I was looking directly at the camera. But in all reality I don't recall seeing Mike at all.

Mikes creativity and attention to detail is what sets him apart from all the rest. He is such a hipster in the photography world. Because he isn't about doing the same shot over and over again for couples, he literally wants the latest and greatest for his bride and groom. He made me feel like a princess, not only on my wedding day but during the entire year and a half we had him booked. Always asking if I needed anything, thanking me for support on Facebook, and always giving me a hug everytime I saw him. He did a lot of little things that I know a lot of photographers don't or wouldn't do, and I appreciated that SO much.

Mike is awesome. His photography is top notch and I can't imagine that there is anyone out there better. He makes you feel very comfortable and it shows in his photos. He showed up early to our appointments and stayed late. I'm extremely thankful that we choose him for our wedding photographer and we can't wait to use him for more events.

When Brandon and I hired Mike with Fetography Portraits to be our wedding photographer, we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. We had no idea that Mike would be the best part of our wedding planning and surely didn't think that we would consider him a great friend at the end of it all. Mike is such a great guy and an amazing photographer and knows how to get the best out of every picture. Mike makes split second decisions to ensure that every picture is a work of art. Today, we met with Mike and viewed our wedding photos with him at his studio. 3 and a half hours later, our faces literally hurt from smiling so much. I can honestly say there is not one single picture that we don't love. We had such a hard time choosing what we wanted professionally printed and put onto canvas and the difficulty in choosing speaks to the quality of each and every picture Mike creates. Mike and his assistant Carol made sure to document each and every moment of our wedding day so that we are able to look back at our photos in the coming years and remember the feelings we were feeling in that moment and re-live the day through our pictures. He did such an amazing job throughout the entire process and we are so grateful for everything that he has done. I would highly recommend Fetography Portraits. There are a lot of photographers to choose from and Mike stood out! I did a lot of research on photographers because the photos last after the wedding, everything else is only for that one special day. We met at the bridal expo and I was amazed at how passionate he was about his work. I knew he was the one for my wedding. Leading up to the wedding, he was very helpful and willing to answer any questions I had and he responded to my emails very quickly. He arrived at the wedding early and got a lot of shots that I absolutely love! My family and friends kept telling me how great my photographer was. We had our reception at Modern Woodmen Park and he did an amazing shot on the ferris wheel. Before the wedding I told him I wanted to do that shot after a similar photo I saw on Pinterest. I immediately sent the picture to him and told him I wanted to do it and he said no problem, but his work would be better. The shot he did was absolutely amazing!!!!! Mike is willing to do whatever you want and he does it well! My wedding day was perfect and Fetography Portraits helped make it a success!

The pictures that were given to us will ensure that we remember our wedding day in the best light and we won't forget any detail. Today, I was also asked by a friend if I knew Mike before hiring him. When I responded that I had not known him, she was surprised at how comfortable we were and how Mike made it seem like we had known each other for some time. I have so much love and respect for Mike and his business! As I reminisce on our wedding day and how I'd love to do it all again, I think of him and all they did to make us comfortable and do all we asked for. He is amazing! I was very particular when choosing a photographer, I wanted him to excel in his field & in artistry. I didn't want the normal posed photos of this and that. I wanted to have amazing memories of our magical day, & have keepsakes of all our intimate moments. Mike was fun to talk to, & easily understood what i wanted, in addition to giving me ideas I hadn't thought of. The day of, he performed above & beyond! His personality meshed so well with ours & everyone there, that by the end of the night, we were sad to see him leave! He even got the little, crying and tired flower girls laughing for all our photos. He had all of us laughing, he is that much fun to work with!!! When I saw our photos, I cried! Each one better than the last. His work is absolutely amazing!!!! You can see our emotions in our photos, all the intimate details. I am so pleased with my decision to work with Mike. I can never imagine referring anyone other than Mike for any event or occasion!

Planning weddings isn't easy and making sure the day is documented professionally is SO important! Of all the things that could stress a couple out during the planning, photography was never a worry! Mike captured the personality of my wonderful granddaughter. She hates to have her picture taken and after some beautiful posed shots he suggested we walk a block to the playground. The picture of her sliding down the slide is priceless. Her smile, bright blue eyes, and joy of childhood are captured on print for me to treasure forever. Mike will always be my family photographer. He has an incredible artistic talent.

I'm going to apologize for the lengthy recommendation, but I cannot recommend Mike enough. From the moment that my husband and I first met him, we loved how down-to-earth and personable he was. I also recognized in him his absolute unbridled passion for his work. He is so invested in each and every event, and I never felt like we were just one client of many (although, technically speaking, because of his talent, we are!). He was always down to hear my ideas of what I wanted, and it validated me to know that perhaps I wasn't crazy in thinking something up myself.

Since I like to be in control of things, I was not very thrilled that, despite the sunny weather predictions, our wedding day was mostly rainy. Mike checked up on me before he even came and "clocked in" at the wedding and reassured me that he would make everything work. And he absolutely did. I wasn't sure how well I'd do not making goofy faces knowing there was a camera on me all day, but Mike (and his assistant) did such a wonderful job capturing the events of the day discreetly that I honestly can say, save for the formals, I barely even noticed he was there, allowing him to capture the true emotions of the day. He was open to being pulled aside by family members for special pictures, and he consistently checked in with me or my husband to make sure that we were getting the photos that we needed or wanted. He even went above his duties to bring me some water--another gesture that showed that he truly cares about his clients.

Now that I've seen all of our photos, including the beautiful album, they are enough to affirm that my husband and I made an excellent choice in Fetography Portraits. It's been a pleasure working with such a wonderful, caring, passionate professional, and I hope that others have the opportunity to meet him and be a part of his passion.
